    This descriptive research aimed to discover the implementation of entrepreneurship education that can be developed to be applied at Female Prison, IIB Class, Tangerang. The research conducted as from October 2013 through February 2014 describes the prisoners’ characteristics by age, crime, religion, and education. Besides it also mentions the educational methods applied in the Female Prison. The research stages began with fileld study to obtain data related to education, religion, age, crime, and business interest. The data indicates their interest in commercial business is 71 % with the background of business experience before they were taken into prison and the entrepreneurship education in the prison will motivate them to develop their previous commercial business or to start a business for those who have not done any commercial business

    ANALISIS KONSEP DIRI MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PG-PAUD

    The general objective of this study was to obtain information about the concept of self-Student Program Early Childhood Education FKIP UNTAN. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques by using a questionnaire (questionnaire). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics percentage. Based on the analysis of questionnaires on self-concept of early childhood education students can be described as follows: (1) Be Objective In Yourself, 72.50% obtained results with either category, (2) Respect Yourself, results obtained 65.62% with either category, (3) Not hostile Yourself, 69.37% obtained results with both categories; (4) Rational Thinking, the results obtained 78.12% with very good category. Based on the findings it can be concluded that: (1) Was able to assess themselves objectively, (2) Can respect himself, (3) Did not antagonize the aspects themselves well categorized. This shows that they are always optimistic when facing a failure, and not feeling sorry for themselves or even blame themselves which can result from frustration; (4) Has a way of rational thinking. This shows that they are not susceptible to things that are less accountable

    PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI MENULIS ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA KOMIK

    The purpose of this research is to improve the motivation to write for chidren aged 5-6 years through the application of the Comic medium. The research was implemented on PAUD Ceria Cempaka East Jakarta on May-June 2013. The method that used is class action research conducted through two cycles, a cycle of comprising planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of research is a whole children aged 5-6 years student PAUD Ceria Cempaka that numbered 16 students. Data collection using non tests to obtain data about implementation of the actions and results of student data that motivation to write through observation tecniques that include field notes, monitoring actions, note sheets interview, and note the documentation. Analysis of the percentage of the data used in this study was based on an agreement with a researcher and collaborator is using increased 25.38% and the percentage of increase in the end of the cycle reaches 78.59%. Based on the increase in the percentage of this research, it can be stated that the hypothesis is accepted. Then it can be concluded that the application of the comic medium can improve the results of motivation to write for chidren aged 5-6 years

    DESAIN AKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KECERDASAN LOGIK-MATEMATIK ANAK USIA DINI

    The purpose of this study is to improve instructional activity desain, develop the kinds of activity, and integrate design components to instructional activities which can develop logic-mathematic intelligence of early-aged children. The study was conducted as from January through August 2014 employing colaborative action research method and involving 30 respondents/informen, 5 school supervisors, and 10 principals as collaborators. The data were collected using observation technique, group discussion, document study, que- sionaire, and test to be analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research findings show the instructional activity design has encouraged the teachers to conduct survey of logic-mathematic intelligence, implement 8 kinds of instructional activities, and improve teachers’ competence in integrating design components.     This research is aimed to get empirical data about the influence of student’s participation in scout toward student’s 3rd grade elementary school prosocial behavior. The research was conducted at SDN 09 and 11 Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta on May until June 2013. This research used Expost Facto method. The sample in this research is amount 40 students of 3rd grade in SDN 09 and 11 Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta, there are 20 students as the experiment group and 20 students as the control group. The sample of this research was taken by using cluster random sampling. Data collection technique in this research used questioner and observation. The technique for data analysis used Liliefors test and Fisher test. The technique for hypothesis used t-test. The t-test result showed tcount = 30,1 > ttable = 1,686, that means H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, the conclusion is the student’s prosocial behavior in experiment group is higher than the student’s prosocial behavior in control group, that showed the student’s participation in scout has significant effect on student’s 3rd grade elementary school prosocial behavior in Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta

    Educational character cannot be separated from the values of moral, nation culture, and religion. The nation that keeps tightly on the rule of religion and the principle of its culture will always be conducting its culture. The strongest nation is characterized by the implementation of its characters. The education character cannot be formed spontaneously but it is developed since the children be at home. The family is the first and main defends in educating children for an adult people and for a responsible citizenship. One of the components which influences the reducation of nation character is that the lack of implementation of moral values, religion, and nation culture. Education is one of defends of nation character values. Therefore, education character at school should continuously be implemented integratively in instructional process and it should be put in the curriculum. This analysis uses document study method. The result of analyisis concludes some factors which affect the lack of education character in education i.e: the reduction of the moral values, religion, and culture. Some actions that the Ministry of Education and Culture should do in overcoming the lack of nation moral values in education sector such as at school is that to work collaboratively with media such as television to forcast Indonesian culture as it was done before on television such as: wayang, local dance or song, specific local industry, and community self help. Some simple strategies in implementing character values at school is that by implementing instruction of nation character integratively with all subjects

    Effort to improve the outcomes of student learning quality is very depend on the possession of competencies that make up the professionalism of teachers. Among the components of competence, that is personal competence and social competence, which is thought to have a significant influence on the teacher performance of the duties/work. The present study is focus on high school teacher. Both of these competencies are exogenous variables that proved to be a positive influence on the performance of the teacher as an endogenous variable. From the data processing is also obtained, that the number of indicators at the top rank in contributing to the exogenous variables studied are the Competence of Personality and Social Competence. Rank of indicators in personal competence are leadership, work ethic, self-sustainable development, and achievement orientation; rank of indicators in social competence is an communicative, objective, nondiscriminativey, and authority. The results of this study should receive special attention and consideration by the authorities in the process of establishing and improving the competence of teachers, both in the PLPG,PPG Dalam Jabatan, PPG Prajabatan, and teacher education by LPTK

    The objective of this research is to study the effect of instructional strategy of cooperative and learning motivation on the learning outcome in the course of Early Detection of Early Aged Children’s Development. The research conducted conducted at IAIN Raden Intan Lampung as from April through August 2013, selected 40 students randomly as samples. The research employed experimental research with treatment by level 2x2.The findings indicate (1) learning outcomes of the students with cooperative instructional strategy is higher than those who received expository instructional strategy,(2) there is interaction between instructional strategy and learning motivation of the students, (3) learning outcomes of the students with high learning motivation are higher when cooperative instructional strategy is used than when they learn with expository instructional strategy, and (4) learning outcomes of the students with low learning motivation are higher when cooperative instructional strategy is used than when they learn with expository instructional strategy. Result of the research shows that students’ learning outcomes on early detection of development kindergarten could be improved by applying appropriate teaching instructional strategy considering their learning motivation level

In the program development,the babies are given a number of treatments to achieve the objectives.     The pattern of rural development should move towards an integral-concept of development. Early childhood education program, (PAUDNI) has a huge potential to enhance people’s welfare. The village model of PAUDNI would be the best alternative solution of empowering community. The problem is how to develop the integrated village model that establishes a life-long learning community. This article describes, discusses, and explores the integrated village model of PUDNI. The conclusion is (1) the PAUDNI village is constructed by the andragogy theory by Knowles and Pannen, emphasizing the community empowerment on integral and integrated aspects; (2) the construction of PAUDNI village model includes community participations, cooperation, commitment, and integrity; (3) the implementation of the model should consider data and analysis, community participation, PAUDNI Units such as PKBM, LKP, PAUD and other non-formal and informal groups; (4) in supervision and guidance process, the model of PAUNI village should involve some related people or institutions. Implementing such a village model properly would create a life-long learning community and enhance the social welfare and the life quality of the community
