HUBUNGAN PERCAYA DIRI DENGAN KREATIVITAS GURU DI TK SE-KELURAHAN TANGKERANG KECAMATAN MARPOYAN DAMAI PEKANBARU RIAU
This study aims to find out correlation between self-confidence and teachers’ creativity at kindergarten schools in Kelurahan Tangerang, Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru. This study uses quantitative method. This study was taken place at kindergarten schools in Kelurahan Tangkerang in Pekanbaru. Populations were all kindergarten teachers in that region which consisted of 122 kindergarten teachers from 17 kindergarten schools. Samples taken in this study were 55 kindergarten teachers in Tangkerang sub-district Marpoyan Damai sub-district Pekanbaru from April to June 2016. Based on data analysis obtained, it can be inferred that correlation coefficient (R) equal to 761, thus the value of R Square = 579 which means self-confidence variable gives 76.1% influence on teachers’ creativity, meanwhile the rest equal to (100% - 76.1) = 23.9% influenced by other factors out of variables examined. Due to t hitung > t table (8.546>2.007) then Ho is rejected which means there is significant correlation between self-confidence and teachers’ creativity
KOMPETENSI ALUMNI PG PAUD FIP UNNES DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN

This study aimed at identifying the competence of the graduates from PG PAUD FIP UNNES located in Central Java. Applying survey method, the study collected data using questionnaire to be analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results showed that the graduate competence belongs to the high category. However, the existing competence still needs to be further developed to maximize the role of early childhood education institutions
PERSEPSI LURAH TENTANG KETERLIBATAN AYAH DALAM PENGASUHAN DAN PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI
Father’s involvement in parenting and early childhood education and development (ECED) is a form of active participation in supporting child’s development. Father does not often actively participated in parenting particularly in the community having patrilinial system. The study, conducted from October 2015 to March 2016 in Kupang, aimes at identifying father’s involvement in parenting and ECE. Research design used was qualitative with interview as data collection method. Four heads of urban community participated in this reseatch. Thematic analysis was conducted.The result of the study indicates that fathers in Kupang city have involved themselves in parenting and ECED, but the involvement are limited to economic needs fulfillment while attention and emotional needs are less fulfilled. The study suggests to improve father’s involvement through socializations, seminars or discussions
STIMULASI PERKEMBANGAN ANAK MELALUI PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL SUKU BATAK TOBA
Traditional games are ancestral estates that need to be maintained and preserved. Rarely are they played in PAUD due to the fact that they have been replaced by modern games, whereas there are a lot of traditional games in every region. The Batak Toba traditional games can stimulate both motor skills and social-emotional development in early childhood. Types of games researched are Marsibahe, Marsitekka, and Marampera. This research aims to find out results on motor skills and social-emotional stimulation in early childhood through Batak Toba traditional games. The research was conducted to 18 children in a range of 5-6 years old in PAUD Anugerah in Tomok Village, Simanindo District, Samosir District in July-October 2015. The data collection instrument is arranged based on their achievement levels of motor skills and social-emotional development referring to Permendikbud No. 137 in 2014 as many as 16 points of observation. A quasi-experiment design method with pretest and posttest is used to recognize field validation, meanwhile the significant of the program is examined by using a correlated t-test. The results show t > t (10.34 > 2.11) so that it can be inferred that there are significant changes on score acquired by the learners before and after playing Batak Toba traditional games at 5% significant level
PENCEGAHAN KASUS KEKERASAN SEKSUAL PADA ANAK MELALUI KOMUNIKASI ANTARPRIBADI ORANG TUA DAN ANAK
Cases of sexual violence in children are so alarming that making parents who have young children become more vigilant and fearful of the safety of their children.This article discusses the importance of interpersonal communication between parents and children, especially those aged early to give an understanding of self-protection. Good communication is essentially applied between parents and children in order to generate a positive relationship. The communication must be built starting from early childhood, it is intended that the creation of a good relationship between parents and children to create a harmonious relationship. Families who have problems with family characteristics that are not reasonable and have children who need care the family problems that must be fixed first. Children who do not have a father or mother becomes the main to be considered by the government. Families who have the ability to raise children well and have sufficient knowledge to equip and protect children from violence and child abuse then can the communication between parents and children is necessary, through sex education for children, expressing themselves honestly, communication Interpersonal Harmonious, an example by using good language and motivation to become independent
PENGEMBANGAN TAMAN BACAAN MASYARAKAT SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR
Learning society is established and developed starting from reading community within this is in the mind, the role of Community Reading Centers (CRC) holds a strategic position in developing the community to become a reading and learning society. The Indonesian community and goverment made significant efforts to diseminate CRC through out Indonesia. This research was intended to describe the development of CRC particularly of those achieved financial assistance from the government. The research was conducted at 7 (seven) CRCs spread out in Banten Province in June through November 2011. Applying qualitative paradigm, the research collected data using observation, interview, and study document techniques. The data were analyzed qualitatively to draw conclusions and suggestions. The research findings show that the development of CRCs received the grant is not as expected. Based on the findings the research suggest the concerned institutions to intensify monitoring and supervision on the CRCs
PENGKAJIAN PROGRAM KURSUS BIDANG PARIWISATA
The objectives of this research are to find out (1) the condition of the course institution and training in tourism sector, (2) the mechanism of leraning of tourism in the institution of the course and training, (3) the programs that can be developed in the field of tourism, (4) tourism profession, and (5) competency test mechanism in the certification body. The research was conducted at the Institution of Course and Training (ICT) in the field of toursm in Central Java and Yogyakarta as from August - September 2016. This quantitative descriptive research with survey approach collected primary quantitative and qualitative data using interview and observation techniques and secondary data obtained from literature and document study. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results show that almost all ICT in tourism field targeted in this research are good enough. However, the instructional programs and strategies to develop are still mostly applying local curriculum created by the Institution itself not based on Indonesian Qualification Framework and international standard
KEMANDIRIAN ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI KOMUNITAS LINGKUNGAN PEMULUNG
The research aims at obtaining information and empirical data of independence of 5 -6 years old children in the community of garbage collectors TPST Sumur Batu, Bantar Gebang, Bekasi. Using qualitative method, the research was conducted in May and June 2015. The data was collected by observation, interview and document study to analyzed employing Miles and Huberman technique. Data was verified by prolonging observation and triangulation. Research findings showed that self-reliance of 5-6 years old children in the garbage collector community is built by the role and attitude of their parents and the environment. The research conclusion indicates independent children are not built by themselves. The parents should assist the children as early as possible to enable them to do their activities without depend themselves on their parents
THE USE OF A PROJECTIVE TECHNIQUE TO INVESTIGATE THE INTENTION OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS IN USING A TABLET PC
This study aims to measure the impact of social influence on performance expectation, motivation, and attitude, and its implication on intention of kindergarten students to adopt a Tablet PC. In this study, a projective technique was employed. The projective technique is a method used by participants to measure third persons’ behavior. Data was collected in March-April 2016 in Jakarta, involving 210 kindergarten students’ parents. Data was analyzed using an exploratory and structural equation model. Based on the calculation, the Tablet PC adoption intention is affected by performance expectation while performance expectation is affected by social influence. Furthermore, adoption intention is also affected by attitude towards adoption. Recommendations for educators, practitioners, and future study are discussed
PENDEKATAN PDCA DALAM KEGIATAN PEMANTAUAN PENGENDALIAN MUTU DI LEMBAGA KURSUS DAN PELATIHAN
By having a challenge to escalate quality at course and training institutions (LKP) which is appropriate to 8 National Education Standards, it is necessary to have an approach related to management functions; planning, implementation, evaluation and improvement on institution management related to quality. Due to that reason, Plan Do Check and Act (PDCA) approach is implemented toward course and training institutions. Problem statement proposed is in what ways Plan Do Check and Act (PDCA) approach can escalate effectiveness in supervising the quality control at course and training institutions. The objective is to describe the implementation of PDCA approach at the institutions. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach by conducting data observation to collect the data, interviews, and some related literature. PDCA approach which is useful for supervisors, can be used as work patterns, to implement quality changes, measure them, and improve the quality sustainably. Activities run by supervisors as quality controllers are making a commitment together with managers, planning, implementing, and assessing. This PDCA approach can escalate supervision effectiveness in controlling quality of course and training institutions
