ANALISIS KUALITAS PERAIRAN KABUPATEN CIREBON PROVINSI JAWA BARAT
Abstract. Cirebon regency is one of the regencies supplying marine products in West Java Province. However, there are now many issues concerning the degradation of the quality of the waters that are sourced from community activities that dump their waste into the waters. This study aims to determine the quality of waters (water and sediments) of Cirebon Regency in terms of physical and chemical parameters. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis using primary data and secondary data designed to describe the physical and chemical conditions of the waters. For the status of pollutants using the STORET method. The results showed that the measurement of physical and chemical condition of waters TSS and BOD has exceeded the quality standard for marine biota (Kepmen-LH No. 51 Year 2004). While the results of heavy metals measurements on sediment concentrations of Pb and Cd have exceeded the CCME quality standard (Canadian Council of Ministers of Environment). The pollutant status of Cirebon Regency is categorized as sterile until polluted fallow
PENGELOLAAN SUMBERDAYA PERIKANAN TANGKAP BERBASIS DAYA DUKUNG LINGKUNGAN PERAIRAN DI WPPNRI 711
The maritime potential of the Fisheries Managemen Area of Indonesia (FMA) 711, particularly in the small pelagic capture fisheries sector is very large, it encourages the occurrence of illegal fishing conducted by Indonesian and foreign fishing boats, thereby reducing the production of legal fish catches. This study aims to estimate economic losses due to illegal fishing and the benefits of economic management by staying based on the sustainability of fishery resources, using primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews, fishermen questionnaire results and marine supervisors from July to November 2016. Secondary data, in the form of production statistics and small pelagic capture fishery effort in FMA 711 from Directorate General of Capture Fisheries, MMAF-Indonesia, illegal fishing catch data from the Fisheries Resources Monitoring Station Pontianak, the Indonesian Navy, the Water Police Unit, and Bakamla. The data series of 2005 to 2016 were also analyzed. Estimates of established models, including bio-economic analysis using the Gordon Schaefer model, and for economic benefit analysis using Fox\u27s surplus production model. The results show the production amount 15,361 tons and effort 4,592 units, with economic rent of Rp 293.93 billion per year. While the economic losses due to illegal fishing are the difference between legal and illegal fishing estimates, ie production of 604 tonnes and rents of Rp 12.89 billion. This illustrates that the production and efforts of small pelagic capture fisheries in WPPNRI 711 can still be improved to reach the optimum level
Kelayakan Usaha Pengawetan Bambu Berbasis Masyarakat
Bamboo can be used as a wood substitute, but bamboo has a low natural durability. Traditional methods of preservation bamboo by water soaking takes a long time and vast place. The low natural durability of bamboo and the low contribution of household income from bamboo cultivation encourages the development of other business alternatives, such as bamboo preservation business. The objectives of this research are to assess the feasibility of bamboo preservation. Data analysis was performed using Market Analysis and Development (MA&D) method. The results of market aspect shows that bamboo is feasible to be developed due to the large market demand still not balanced with limited availability. The results of ecological and environmental aspects, need to find alternative preservatives that are more environmentally friendly. The results of social and institution aspect shows that bamboo business has the support of local government and the community also has local wisdom in the management of bamboo. The results of financial analysis shows that in riil condition bamboo preservation business was feasible; Net Present Value (NPV) is IDR 30.737.598, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) at 1,29 and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) at 31,72%
KARAKTERISTIK LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP KOMUNITAS SERANGGA (Environmental Characteristics of Insect Community)
The poorly managed development of Banyumas Regency causes changes in the quality of the environment. insects can be used as indicators of environmental quality changes. The purpose of this research is to identify the abiotic environmental factors, biotic and potential environmental disturbance to the insect community and to analyze the potential insects as environmental bioindicators. Insect data collection uses four types of traps: pitfall traps, yellowpan traps, sweep net and malaise traps. data analysis is done by linking the relationship between insect community parameters with environmental parameters. The presence of insects at the study site is influenced by plant wealth, airborne TSP concentration, canopy cover, light intensity, and wind speed. The presence of insects correlates with the increasing environmental factors that support life and decreases against environmental disturbances. Digitonthopagus sp., Polyrhachis sp., Eurema sp. 2, Junonia sp., Neptis sp., Papilio sp., Elymnias sp. can be used as an indicator of habitat conditions with low environmental disturbances. Onthophagus sp3., Oreogeton sp., Appias sp., Trilophidia sp. can be used as an indicator of habitat conditions with high environmental disturbances
Resiliensi nelayan terhadap ketersediaan sumberdaya perikanan di Kepulauan Karimunjawa
Resilience is a concept that cannot be generalized. This is because in analyzing resilience, the parameters that have been used for the resilience analysis is depend on the resilience context itself. It is important to establish which parameters are most important to be used for analyzing resilience of fishermen related to fisheries resources. Fishers\u27 are the most vulnerable community and have a high depencency on natural resources. It is necessary to analyze of fishers\u27 resiliences. The resilient fishing communities can increase their capacity to cope on socio-economic change. The purpose of this study is to determine the parameters that can be used to analyze resilience of the fishermen in small islands. The study was conducted from February to April 2018. The method used in this studyis expert judgment. Based on previous studies to analyze resilience used 6 dimensions, namely: social (21 parameters), economic (26 parameters), institutional (13 parameters), infrastructure (12 parameters), resources (9 parameters), and potential disaster (2 parameters), the total parameters are 83 parameters. Based on the result, 83 parameters were being indexing and only 53 parameters having values above 3,50 are used to analyze resilience assessment. The parameters that have the highest index in each dimension are the level of poverty (social dimension), number of livelihood (economic dimension), government role (institutional dimension), and fish catch (resource dimension). The selected parameters are used to analyze the fisher’s resilience in Karimunjawa islands

Taman Nasional Laut Kepulauan Seribu (TNLKpS) has a unique natural resource is the natural beauty of the sea and coral ecosystems are unique. But along with the rapid population growth of Jakarta as the capital city and the increasing number of tourists also affect the condition of coral reefs in TNLKpS. This study aimed to analyze and assess the ecological condition of coral reef ecosystems in the utilization zone travel TNLKpS by coral cover life and death, diversity as well as the factors causing the damage of the survey line intercept transect (LIT), literature review, interviews and analysis of the condition of coral reefs by Decree LH No. 4 of 2001 on Baku Criteria Damage Coral Karan. Condition of the reef by live coral cover otherwise damaged to moderate, based on the otherwise dead coral cover damaged high to moderate damage, then the number and type of reef fish more on the depth of 10 meters in comparison with 3 meters. Thecondition of coral reef ecosystems is common in 3 islands (Pulau Putri, Pulau Macan and Pulau Angin Angin Genteng) in TNKS is still quite good, but in some snorkeling spots it looks bad (3 stations) and medium (2 stations) when compared to spots diving (only 1 bad station)
Pergerakan dan Pencucian Hara pada Tanah Typic Hapludult di Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas: Hubungan Kation-anion
Soil Nutrient are dynamics. Their amount and movement within soil solution can determine its fertility to accomodate plant growth. The dissolved nutrients are moving together in the form of cations and anions. This study aims to determine the amount of dissolved cation-anion in the soil solution and to evaluate its relationship. Field trial was conducted at tropical rainforest of Bukit Duabelas National Park. The Lisymeter was installed on each Typic Hapludult soil horizon to accommodate percolated water. The leached water sample was extracted and each cation (NH4+, Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) and anion (PO43-, Cl-, SO42-, NO3-) concentration were measured. Data were analyzed using independent-t stastical test, Spearman correlation, and stepwise linear regression. The results show that the total amount of cation and anion are significantly higher in the AO horizon than the AB and B horizons. The correlation analysis results show that each cation has a strong correlation to each anion (correlation value > 0.80) except PO43- ( ~ 0.70). Stepwise linear regression model shows that NH4+ has the strongest relation to NO3-, PO43-, and Cl- with R2 adj.= 0.75, Ca2+ to NO3-, PO43-, and SO42- (R2 adj.= 0.856), Mg2+ to NO3- and PO43- (R2 adj.= 0.815), and K+ to PO43- and Cl- (R2 adj.= 0.845). It can be concluded that NO3-, Cl-, SO42-, and PO43- are directly involved as cation co-pairing agents in the soil nutrient movement and leaching process
