Environmental Behavior Mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi di Kampus Konservasi
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi perilaku ramah lingkungan mahasiswa yang telah selesai menempuh mata kuliah Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (PLH). Objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi UNNES angkatan 2016. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan menggunakan rumus slovin dengan teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling sejumlah 121 mahasiswa. Alat analisis menggunakan analisis deksriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa environmental behavior yang dimiliki mahasiswa dalam kategori cukup, mahasiswa memiliki perilaku yang tinggi dalam hal penghematan dan penggunaan sumber energi, penggunaan alat transportasi yang ramah lingkungan, dan pemakaian barang yang menyebabkan limbah. Namun demikian memiliki kelemahan atas perilaku dalam pengolahan limbah, konsumsi bahan-bahan makanan ramah lingkungan, enggan untuk aktif dalam organisasi lingkungan serta belum dapat memanfaatkan media sosial yang dimiliki untuk kegiatan lingkungan. Saran dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perlunya praktik calon wirausaha industri kreatif dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah kewirausahaan, dan optimalisasi kinerja kader konservasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mahasiswa akan pentingnya terlibat dalam organisasi lingkungan
Small-pelagic Small-pelagic fisheries management strategic using ecosystem approach at Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara
Study on small-pelagic fisheries in the border regions between Indonesia - Timor Leste has taken place in Belu District, East Nusa Tenggara. It was aimed to assess the status of small pelagic management and formulate the strategic and tactical steps for implementing sustainable fisheries management. The study site took place at four villages at the sub-district of Tasifeto Timur and Kakuluk Mesak. Data were collected through interview techniques, observation, and measurement of 30 indicators from six domains of EAFM, ecosystem approach to fisheries management, of which assessment of each indicator within each domain was conducted and presented into the flag model. Based on that results, tactical decisions and strategic planning were formulated. The results showed that small-pelagic fisheries management in Belu classified as a fairly medium category. Domain fish resources and fishing technology classified as a good category and domain habitat and ecosystem, social, economic and institution are classified as a medium category. Distribution of species and density status of mangrove ecosystems on the coast of West Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi
Mangrove merupakan ekosistem pesisir yang sangat penting bagi manusia karena memiliki fungsi ekonomi, fisik, dan ekologi. Salah satu wilayah pesisir yang merupakan habitat ekosistem mangove adalah pesisir Kabupaten Muna Barat. Adanya pembangunan berdampak pada pengurangan luas dan kerapatan ekosistem mangrove sehingga mempengaruhi struktur dan status kerapatan ekosistem mangrove. Jumlah spesies mangrove yang ada di pesisir Kabupaten Muna Barat adalah sepuluh spesies yang terdiri Bruguiera cylindrica, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora stylosa, Sonneratia alba, Xylocarpus granatum, Ceriops tagal, Scyphiphora hydrophyllacea, dan Calophyllum inophyllum. Total kerapatan mangrove adalah 752 pohon/ha yang terdiri dari 879 pohon/ha pada stasiun I, 621 pohon/ha pada stasiun II, 687 pohon/ha pada stasiun III, dan 820 pohon/ha pada stasiun IV dengan status kerapatan termasuk pada kategori rendah.Mangrove ecosystem is valuable coastal ecosystems for human because its economic, physical and ecological functions. One of the coastal areas which is the habitat of the mangove ecosystem is the coast of West Muna Regency. The coastal development in the coastal area had reduced the mangrove area and the density of mangrove ecosystem, which in turn affected the structure and density status of the ecosystem. The number of mangrove species in the coast of West Muna Regency was ten species consisting of Bruguiera cylindrica, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora stylosa, Sonneratia alba, Xylocarpus granatum, Ceriops tagal, Scyphiphora hydrophyllacea, and Calophyllum inophyllum. The total density of mangrove was 752 trees/ha, however, by seeing in detail through each sampling station the density of Station I, II, III and IV was 879, 621, 687 and 820 trees/ha, respectively. Those densities are categorized as low density
Habitat Preference and Spatial Distribution of Juvenile Blue Swimming Crab (Portunus pelagicus) in the East Lampung Coastal Waters, Lampung Province
Information on habitat preferences of the blue swimming crab (BSC) juvenile and its spatial distribution is one of the factors behind the successfulness of its sustainable management. This information is needed to provide input for management strategy by considering juvenile crabs and their habitat as important aspect. The purpose of this study is to elucidate habitat preferences, abundance and biomass distribution of BSC juvenile in the east Lampung coastal waters. The research was conducted in September-October 2018, which was located in east Lampung coastal waters, Province Lampung. Spatial distribution through estimation of abundance and biomass of BSC juvenile were relatively high and concentrated in the Gambas and Wako regions at stratification of 2-4 miles from the coastline. The BSC juvenile does not appear to have a high preference to the Kuala Penet coastal habitat condition; it is considered because of low value of abundance, biomass, and Habitat suitability index (HSI). The value of HSI in the Kuala Penet Coastal region is also lower than other locations due to abiotic and biotic factors for supporting the crabs at juvenile stage
Bird Community Responses to Several Habitat Types in Artificial Ecosystems in PT. PJB UP Paiton Region
Individu burung yang terkumpul dari beberapa spesies dalam satu waktu di dalam ruang tertentu yang membentuk kelompok disebut komunitas burung. Komposisi vegetasi dan spesies tumbuhan merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi kehadiran burung pada suatu habitat. Komposisi vegetasi yang terjadi akibat campur tangan manusia membentuk ekosistem artifisial atau ekosistem buatan. PT PJB UP Paiton merupakan objek vital nasional berupa area pembangkit listrik untuk Jawa dan Bali. Kehadiran PT PJB UP Paiton membentuk ekosistem artifisial pada kawasan tersebut. Indeks komunitas burung (IKB) adalah Teknik dalam menentukan kualitas suatu kawasan dengan menggunakan daftar spesies burung dan guild sebagai indikatornya. Pengambilan data burung dilakukan dengan metode point transects sampling dan data flora dilakukan dengan teknik sensus, yaitu menghitung dan mengukur setiap individu pada setiap spesies yang dijumpai di dalam lokasi pengamatan. Keanekaragaman spesies burung dihitung dengan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener, dan indeks kemerataan. Keanekaragaman spesies tumbuhan diukur dengan menghitung jumlah spesies, dominansi, indeks keanekaragaman dan indeks kemerataan tumbuhan sedangkan komposisi vegetasi diukur dengan nilai persentase summed dominance rasio (SDR). Hasil penelitian mendapatkan keragaman spesies tertinggi (H’= 3,05; E=0,62) di lokasi Perumahan dan keragaman spesies terendah (H’=2,12; E=0,29) di lokasi Pareho. Spesies M. indica menjadi spesies pohon paling dominan pada lokasi perumahan (29.31%) dan kelontong & benduman (42.79%) sedangkan lokasi kantor didominasi oleh pohon A. indica (26.35%) dan pareho oleh A. saman (26.89%). Hasil analisa hubungan vegetasi terhadap burung mendapatkan nilai r2 direntang -0,8 hingga 0,9 dengan nilai uji signifikan Pvalue>0,05. Hasil hitung IKB mendapatkan kategori rendah hingga menengah. Nilai tertinggi (64.4) diperoleh pada lokasi perumahan, dan nilai terendah (42,8) pada lokasi perkantoran.Individual birds that are gathered from several species at one time in a certain room that form a group called the bird community. The composition of vegetation that occurs due to human intervention forms artificial ecosystems or artificial ecosystems. PT PJB UP Paiton is a national vital object in the form of a power plant area for Java and Bali. The presence of PT PJB UP Paiton formed an artificial ecosystem in the area. Bird community index (BCI) is a technique in determining the quality of an area by using a list of bird species and guilds as indicators. The collection of bird data is carried out by the method of point transects sampling and flora data is carried out by census techniques, namely counting and measuring each individual in each species found in the observation location. Bird species diversity was calculated by Shannon-Wiener diversity index, and evenness index. Plant species diversity is measured by counting the number of species, dominance, diversity index and evenness index of plants while the composition of vegetation is measured by the percentage value of summed dominance ratio (SDR). The results obtained the highest species diversity (H \u27= 3.05; E = 0.62) at the Housing location and the lowest species diversity (H\u27 = 2.12; E = 0.29) at the Pareho location. M. indica species became the most dominant tree species in housing locations (29.31%) and grocery & dams (42.79%) while office locations were dominated by A. indica trees (26.35%) and pareho by A. saman (26.89%). The results of the analysis of the relationship of vegetation to birds get an r2 value of -0.8 to 0.9 with a significant test value of Pvalue> 0.05. BCI calculation results get the category of low to medium. The highest value (64.4) was obtained at a residential location, and the lowest value (42.8) at an office location
Behaviour and perception of community on peat fire in Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatera Province
South Sumatera Province experienced the worst peat fires in 2015, where the larger area is located in Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) District. Human activity is a very important factor in causing forest and peatland fires,because in fact nearly almost 100 % of forest and land fires are caused by human. One of the purposes of this paper is to study the human activities that could trigger forest and peatland fires in OKI District. The results of this study are expected to produce information about the causes of fires and provide a scientific based information for policymakers to prevent forest and peatland fires in OKI District. This research was conducted in six villages in three sub-districts, Perigi and Riding Village in Pangkalan Lampam Sub-District; Ulak Depati and Jungkal Village in Pampangan Sub-District; and Pulu Beruang and Ujung Tanjung Village in Tulung Selapan Sub-District. This research method is field observations, interviews, and analyzing Terra/Aqua MODIS satellite imagery data to get the burned area. Based on the interview,it had been found that the main behavior of the community triggers peat fires is sonor, land preparation for plantation, and fishing. Terra/Aqua MODIS image analysis reveals that the area burned in 2015 and 2019, mostly occurred in swamp scrub and open land cover. The knowledge and perceptions of the people in OKI Regency on forest and peatland fire control are classified as moderate (56.7% - 83.3%). Community participation in outreach and training activities can increase people knowledge and perceptions on forest and peatland fire control. Public knowledge has an essential correlation with people\u27s perceptions. Positive public perceptions on efforts to control fires will increase their participation. Community participation at the site level will determine the success of controlling forest and land fires.

Study of hydroelectric power capacity using the rational method in the Lawe Sempali subwatershed, Aceh Province
Nowadays, electricity is a basic human need that must be available. Therefore, efforts to obtain electrical energy from renewable natural resources continue to be explored, especially water energy from watersheds and sub-watersheds. Aceh Province is a relatively widely available area of watersheds and sub-watersheds. This study aims to analyze and categorize the potential of electric power generated by the Lawe Sempali sub-watershed, Aceh province, as a source of hydroelectric power. The method used in this research is the study of literature and field studies. The rainfall analysis of the ten year return period plan was carried out with four approaches, namely (i) normal distribution method (ii) normal log distribution method, (iii) Gumbel distribution method, and (iv) Pearson III log distribution method. Discharge plans that occur are analyzed using the rational method. The categorization of the power capacity of hydroelectric power plants is based on the capacity that can be produced by the sub-watershed. The results of this study were to report that the Lawe Sempali Sub-watershed has the potential to be a source of hydroelectric power generation in the category of micro-hydro and or small-hydro power plants. The capacity of electric power generated with planned discharge in the shortest return period (2 years) is a minimum of 68.21 KW (head 2 m) and a maximum of 3.41 MW (head 100 m)
Analisis Kandungan Padatan Tersuspensi Total Berdasarkan Karakteristik Hujan di Daerah Aliran Sungai Ciliwung
Total suspended solid (TSS) is one of the parameters that determines whether or not a body of water is polluted. One factor that influences the amount of TSS content is the characteristic of rainfall in an area. Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the effect of rainfall characteristics and TSS content in Ciliwung River. Multiple regression analysis was used for analytical method. Results of multiple regression analysis showed that the correlation coefficient (adjusted R2) for the factors of rainfall, discharge and sediment show a low correlation to changes the content of TSS in Ciliwung River. The value of each correlation coefficient in the upstream, middle, and downstream of Ciliwung River are 0.21, 0.31, and 0.09 respectively. According to the F test, rainfall, discharge and sediment were significantly affect TSS content in the upstream and middle stream. Based on t test, it is known that only rainfall affect TSS content in the upstream and midlle stream
Pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove untuk ruang terbuka hijau sebagai mitigasi gas rumah kaca di kawasan Sungai Tallo Kota Makassar
Salah satu fungsi ekologis ekosistem mangrove adalah sebagai penyimpan karbon. Namun di sisi lain juga berpotensi menimbulkan emisi gas rumah kaca melalui degradasi serasah meskipun nilainya jauh dibandingkan nilai serapan tersebut. Berdasar pada hal tersebut, pengelolaan mangrove sebagai Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di kawasan sungai Tallo Kota Makassar perlu untuk dipertimbangkan dengan mengikutsertakan peran serta masyarakat dan pemerintah selaku pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan studi dan telaah literatur terkait serta wawancara responden berkenaan dengan persepsi dan partisipasi pengelolaan mangrove. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total serapan karbon mangrove di sungai Tallo kota Makassar yaitu 351,02 tonCO2/ha, suplai oksigen 255,29 O2-equivalen/ha, dan potensi pemanasan global yaitu 252,41 mg/m2/jam yang terdiri dari 194,33 mg/m2/jam gas CO2, 15,76 mg/m2/jam gas CH4, dan 42,33 mg/m2/jam gas N2O. Hasil analisis persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 89% masyarakat sangat setuju dan mendukung pemerintah dalam upaya pengelolaan mangrove sebagai ruang terbuka hijau. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka ekosistem di Sungai Tallo sangat sesuai dikelola untuk ruang terbuka hijau sebagai penyuplai udara segar dan penyerap CO2 bahkan sebagai peredam kebisingan dari mesin kendaraan ataupun industri di kota Makassar.One of the ecological functions of mangroves ecosystem is to store carbon. Yet, on the other hand it also has the potential to cause greenhouse gas emissions through litter degradation even though its value is lower compared to the absorption value. Based on these two facts, mangrove management as a Green Open Space in the Tallo river area of Makassar City needs to consider involving the participation of the community and the government as stakeholders. The research was conducted by desk work, literature study and respondent interviews regarding perceptions and participation in mangrove management. The results showed that the total uptake of mangrove carbon in the Tallo river in Makassar city was 351.02 tons CO2/ha, oxygen supply 255.29 O2-equivalent/ha, and the potential for global warming was 252.41 mg/ m2/hour consisting of 194, 33 mg/m2/hour of CO2 gas, 15.76 mg/m2/hour of CH4 gas, and 42.33 mg/m2/hour of N2O gas. The results of community perception and participation analysis show that around 89% of the community strongly agreed and supported the government in the effort to manage mangroves as a green open space. Based on this, the ecosystem in the Tallo river is very suitable to be managed for green open space as fresh air supplier and CO2 adsorber as well as a noise reduction from vehicle or industrial engines in Makassar city
Prediction and Correlation Analysis between Water Discharge and Rainfall in Ciliwung River, Bogor City
Water demand should be balance with water availability. The population of Bogor City was increased every year, so that water demand become increased. Currently, Government of Bogor City only utilizes the Cisadane river as a source for drinking water, but Bogor City has 2 rivers there are Cisadane river and Ciliwung river. So, Ciliwung river can be solution for this problem. Water discharge and rainfall influence water availability. Distribution log pearson type 3 used to predict the water discharge and rainfall and linier regression analyzed the relationship between water discharge (dependent variable) with rainfall as X1 and water level as X2 (independent variable). The result of distribution log pearson type 3 every return period 2, 5, 10, 25, dan 50 years is water discharge and rainfall were increased. Average increase of water discharge every return period is 1.6 m3/s and average increase of rainfall every return period is 251 mm. Partially, water discharge influenced by water level 97.7% and 2% by rainfall. But, = 0.000 < = 0.05. it is mean rainfall and water level cannot be ignored because it can influence water discharge with regression model = -3.01 + 0.000 X1 + 0.202 X2
