IDENTIFYING MOTIVATION FACTOR INVOLVEMENT OF SARAWAK MALAY WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR
Sarawak multilayered cake among Sarawak product signature famous among the local as well as international tourist visiting Sarawak. In fact, Sarawak Malay women entrepreneurs have become very necessary players in the entrepreneurial field specifically in this cottage industries from the early introduction of this business, they have facing various problem in this businesses. Thus, this research aims to build an understanding of motivational factor that encourage Sarawak Malay women entrepreneurial experiences especially in multilayered cake businesses. Using qualitative methods, this research aims to identify the entrepreneurial motivations factors; with regards to start-up motivation by Sarawak Malay women. The finding shows that the motivations that influence Malay women within Kuching, Sarawak areas to start and grow their business are involve self-driven and context driven that motivate them involve in multilayered cakes businesses
SERVICE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER LOYALTY IN PEACEKEEPING MISSIONS
The capability of service providers to plan and implement the quality components in executing daily job may have a significant impact on customer loyalty. However, the role of service quality as an important determinant has been given less attention in the workplace quality research literature. Therefore, this study was undertaken to measure the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. A survey method was employed to collect data from Malaysian soldiers who involved in peacekeeping missions at Middle Eastern country. The outcomes of SmartPLS path model analysis demonstrate that the ability of organization to appropriately implement tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy in executing daily job has been important determinants of customer loyalty. REWARD MANAGEMENT ON MOTIVATION TO PERFORM JOB
This study investigated the relationship between reward management and motivation to perform job. A quantitative survey method was employed to collect self-administered questionnaires from employees who work at government departments in Klang Valley, Peninsular Malaysia. The outcomes of linear regression analysis showed three important findings: first, communication was positively and significantly correlated with motivation to perform job. Second, participation was positively and significantly correlated with mo-tivation to perform job. Third, performance appraisal was positively and significantly correlated with motiva-tion to perform job. This result confirms that communication, participation and performance appraisal is im-portant determinants of motivation to perform job in the organizational sample. Further, discussion, implyca-tions and conclusions are elaborated
MANAGEMENT CONTROL IN MAKING INNOVATION: A STUDY OF PROCESS AND IMPACT IN NTREPRENEURIAL ORGANIZATION
Several researches show that management control is a tool for strategy formulating and at the same time for its implementation. Innovation is a strategy for organization. Therefore management control is a tool to make innovation. The purpose of this research was presenting how management control played an important role in the innovation process. Qualitative approach was used with a single case study in the Accounting Department of an Entrepreneurial University. Several methods were used to collect data such as interview, observation, and documentation. The result showed that the combination of management control was able to make innovation. Several issues emerged such as organization context, organization purpose, behavior, and other aspects regarding the implementation of management control mechanisms. SOCIAL MEDIA & INTERNET: A STUDY IN START UP COMPANIES
This study is intended to further investigate this issue and gain a better understanding of how the Internet, especially social media, can really affect ecosystems and operations of start-up companies. A quantitative research using surveys has been applied and questionnaire data were collected from 104 start-up companies. The result of analysis shows that start-up companies have started using the Internet and social media as an integral part of their business ecosystem to increase sales where Fashion and Food & Beverage (F&B) are the types of businesses that gain most benefits
EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AS THE IMPACT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND JOB SATISFACTION IN PT ANUGERAH BARU DENPASAR
PT Anugerah Baru in Denpasar has applied transformational leadership since 2014 so that employees feel more secure and motivated. Thus, it increases their performance. This study is undertaken to find the impact of transformational leadership on job satisfaction using employee performance as a mediating variable in PT. Anugerah Baru Denpasar using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that there is a positive and significant impact of transformational leadership on job satisfaction, a positive but insignificant impact of job satisfaction on employee performance, and a positive and significant impact of transformational leadership on employee performance
THE INFLUENCE OF SUPPLIER TRUST AND SUPPLIER COMMITMENT TO SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE THROUGH INFORMATION SHARING AND COLLABORATION
This research will discuss obstacles in producing the optimal number of nickel, this is related to the performance of the supplier. The object of this research is PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. supplier companies incorporated the law of PT and CV, as well as the minimum of two years has become an active supplier. The purpose of this research is to test and analyze all variables that affect the supplier performance, such as supplier trust, supplier commitment, information sharing and collaboration. The research method used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) based on GeSCA (General Structured Component Analysis). The result from the research obtained that supplier commitment variable affect supplier performance through information sharing and collaboration, while the variable of supplier trust has no effect to measure supplier performance
MEASURING THE ENTREPRENEUR’S FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE: EVIDENCE FROM SMALL MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN SURABAYA
This study aimed to analyze the factors that measure the financial knowledge of entrepreneurs in Surabaya. Entrepreneurs with higher financial knowledge will have a growing probability of a successful business. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires. There are 309 entrepreneurs as the sam-ples who are living, doing business, as well as having financial knowledge about entrepreneurial finance in Surabaya. This study used exploratory factor analysis to identify the relationship between the manifest varia-bles (attributes) or indicator variables to build a construct (factor). OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR MICRO-SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS IN INDONESIA FACING ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY
This research is a part of a continuous study to analyze the opportunities and challenges for micro-small and medium business in Indonesia when facing ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2016. It has its own uniqueness, as it will combine the point of view between current business owners and current literature study synthesis on business perception towards AEC. Ten business owners have been interviewed. The results suggested AEC provides challenges for the business owners, particularly in terms of capital; competitiveness; sales system; innovation; finance, bureaucracy; and government preparedness. AEC also provides opportunities, in terms of market potential; creativity; export opportunities; business owners’ resistances and sustainability; and knowledge of local market. From all of the keywords mentioned by the respondents, there are four main attributes considered as important: human resources; creativities; market share; and capital. Finally, most of the respondents suggested that AEC will bring more positive influences for the development of micro-small and medium business in Indonesia
KOMUNIKASI INFORMAL, GAJI, DAN MOTIVASI KERJA KARYAWAN DI PT INDONUSA ALGAEMAS PRIMA BALI
The aim of this research was to test whether informal communication and salary affected employee\u27s work motivation in PT Indonusa Algaemas Prima Bali. The population and samples of this research were 84 employees as this research used saturated method sampling with a quantitative approach using a multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that informal communication and salary had a positive and significant impact to employee\u27s work motivation in PT Indonusa Algaemas Prima Bali both partially and simultaneously
