DESIGNING HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN PT. HARIFF POWER SERVICES
PT. Hariff Power Services is national private company engaged in Mechanical and Electrical Services, especially transformer maintenance services. At the end of 2020, target for transformers quantity that must be repaired could not be achieved, causing company's revenue to not match the target, also some employees are dissatisfied with the company's current performance. Main factors that cause employee dissatisfaction are caused by ineffective work coordination, unclear details of work and miscommunication between individuals. This research aims to determine the implementation of several human resource management practices elements in an integrated human resource management system, so it can help company problems within scope of human resource management. This study uses 5 elements in human resource management practice, such as job analysis, performance measurement, competence, career management, and recruitment.Based on research results, it can be seen that more targeted job descriptions and job specifications have been prepared for each position as part of the job analysis, besides that more measurable Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework has been developed for each position as part of performance measurement. In competency element, competency model that consist of 22 competencies dimension has been compiled for each position accompanied by competency level, where this competency level becomes data that will be processed using hierarchical cluster analysis to describe career-path for each position which is divided into 3 clusters and 3 job levels. Proposed Marketing Strategy for NAH Project
NAH Project is a local brand that focuses on selling sneakers products. The concept of NAH Project is to become an Indonesian cultist sneakers brand that dominates the sneakers market through innovation and breakthrough. NAH is domiciled in Bandung. As a new player, NAH still lacks brand awareness. Brand awareness is needed for the development of this brand. From the beginning, NAH relies on digital platforms like social media and e-commerce as its channel to sell products to consumers. To gather information regarding the business environment of NAH project, internal analysis tools are used. Such as Resource-Based View, Value Chain Analysis, and Business Model Canvas. Those tools are used to define the strength and weaknesses of NAH Project. For the external analysis, the tools used are Porter’s Five Forces, Competitor Analysis, and Customer Analysis. Those external tools are used to identify Opportunities and Threats that NAH should face. Based on the analysis result, the solution for NAH is to hire a marketing specialist, participate in sneakers events, opening an offline store, and doing collaboration with influential people. Proposed Service Innovation in Digital Wallet using Service Science Perspective (Case Study: bjb DigiCAsh by Bank BJB)
In today's digital era, everyone prioritizes speed and convenience in making transactions. One of the digital innovations present in this era is server-based e-money, better known as digital wallet/e-wallet. The use of digital wallets continues to increase, making every company engaged in this field must continue to innovate to gain a competitive advantage.Bjb DigiCash is a digital wallet, one of the digital products from BJB Bank. The number of bjb users continues to increase.However, the number of active bjb digicash users is still far from expected, with only 36.7% of the total number of bjb digicash customers who actively use this application as their payment instrument. This study aims to determine the cause of the problem of low customer experience for bjb DigiCash so that they do not actively use it and find innovative solutions to these problems that suit customer needs. Therefore, the researcher will conduct in-depth interviews with the management of bjb DigiCash to find out deeper problems and the current state of business and service activities of bjb digiCash. Moreover, conduct in-depth interviews with customers to determine what they want and need to continue using bjb DigiCash as their payment instrument. The researcher also conducted a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), 5 why's Analysis, and a value co-creation and orchestration platform to identify service and product innovations that bjb DigiCash could carry out. Finally, using the weighted decision matrix to find out which innovations are the best, functional and in accordance with current customer needs. MOTIVATION OF COFFEE COMMUNITAS TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINABILITY IN THE COFFEE INDUSTRY (CASE STUDY: KEBUN NGOPI COMMUNITAS)
This research was conducted by referring to the concept of Research Onion methodology asa stage of research on the communitas named "KEBUN Ngopi" as an entrepreneurial actor to maintain sustainability during the year of the founding of this communitas. The Research Onion method is a research stage proposed by Saunders et al in 2009. The approach taken to obtain information through interviews by focusing can be inductive approaches and qualitative methodologies. A qualitative methodology was chosen to obtain information from informants who had been selected based on status and position in the communitas. Interviews were conducted in a semi-structured manner with questions prepared beforehand, but not all were asked because several answers had been answered in one question discussion. The interview began with the elders of the communitas up to all members of the communitas totaling 7 informants. The results of this study indicate that there is motivation as a factor that makes this communitas sustainable in the coffee industry. These factors include the influence of communitas elders, the market share they have, high cooperation in the communitas, high independence, and social. The influence of communitas elders felt by each member makes this communitas survive with the idealism accepted by each member. The idealism is based on the thoughts of the elders of the communitas and discussed with communitas members. This communitas also prioritizes togetherness in performance, and friendship as the foundation they can be together to run in the coffee industry. This makes them confident because their market share is large enough for the scale of the communitas that runs independently.Keywords: Communitas, Motivation, Sustainability
CONSUMER PREFERENCES STUDY IN VISITING CAFÉ OR RESTAURANT IN BANDUNG DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC AND SUITABLE SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT EXPLORATION
The existence of COVID 19 has brought a very negative impact to the world economy, including Indonesia. Starting in early March, the Indonesian government issued a PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) regulation as an effort to combat the spread of this virus. The impact of this regulation makes people do all their activities from home. As a result, many cafés/restaurants cannot operate normally. According to reports, at least 6,800 restaurant owners have had to close their businesses during this pandemic. But over time, after going through months of isolation, people started to return to their normal activities. The need to socialize directly, makes people dare to jump back into the outside world. For this condition, the government is no longer applying the PSSB regulation, instead they applied the AKB (Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru) or what usually called “the new normal” regulation. The AKB regulation allows people to have their activities as usual, but with precautions needed.This condition, of course, brings a breath of fresh air for cafe/restaurant owners. The trust of consumers in café/restaurant became important. Café/restaurant that has strong branding usually are the ones that get picked during this pandemic. The society demand of feeling safe and secure has made café/restaurant must provide that security.This research used several analysis to understand what consumer wants and needs in the selection of visiting a café/restaurant. This research aims to understand the consumers preferences in visiting a café/restaurant during COVID 19 pandemic by using mixed methodology, both qualitative and quantitative research methodology. The qualitative research done by conducting a focus group discussion with the selected target market. The insight found from FGD, then used to build a fundamental formula to then translated into questions for the questionnaire, which is part of the quantitative research. The questionnaire was spread via online, and get approximately 200 response, as the minimum number needed for problem solving research. The data then processed using SPSS software to analyze the factor. There are three main factors that are found from this research: consumer behavior, costumer motivation, and social media role. From these factors then extracted to several variable in which those became the key to understand the consumer preferences.The proposed business solutions are reminding the consumer of what they want and need by putting the right content on social media platform. According to the respondent, aside from Google, Instagram is their most preferable social media to look for information, and in this case means, that café/restaurant must have a proper and right content to attract consumer. According to the respondent they prefer café/restaurant that gives them thorough information from its operational hours until their healthy protocols. Which can be concluded that social media is certainly the key to attract the consumers. The implementation plan and the sample of Instagram content is also has been given in this research as the example of what a café/restaurant must do to become the ones that get visited during COVID 19 pandemic.Keywords: Consumers Preferences, Consumer Behaviour, Costumer Motivation, Social Media Rol
PROPOSED MARKETING STRATEGY TO RAISE BRAND AWARENESS FOR NEW FASHION COMPANY (CASE STUDY: KAMMA)
Kamma is a new brand that established in 2019, that focusing on leather products such as bag, for male and female. The leather market in Indonesia is still large and high demand. As the brand has not yet had a good conceptualization, the promotion was only from word of mouth. It is why the brand has low brand awareness that impacted to low sell performance. This research is made to find the best solution for the brand for a long term strategy to raise brand awareness which hopefully will affect to raise on sell.The research is a qualitative descriptive and will use several concept which are, STP (Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning), 4P from Marketing Mix, SWOT, and TOWS matrix, in depth interview with other brands and competitor analysis. The problem that Kamma has are low on brand awareness, which from the root cause can be seen it was the impact from low of variety of the products, low on social media activity, and price that a similar with competitor but Kamma has lower quality of products.To solve the problem, Kamma need to focuses on the aspect from the 4P that are Production, Price, Place and Promotion. Measuring Digital Culture Levels Using Cigref Instruments Case Study: PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung, Digital Business Unit
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is a state-owned business entity (SOE) which is engaged in transportation services in Indonesia. The company has several subsidiaries that cooperate in developing the company's business. The company was founded in 1963 as the State Railroad Company (PNKA) and eventually changed its name to PT Kereta Api (Persero) in 1999. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) experienced many changes from time to time. In 2009, the most significant changes began to be made, such as changing traditional business to digital. However, these changes cannot be separated from problems such as when companies do the digital transformation. Until now, the company has changed a lot. Especially in the digital sphere, such as the product that is owned is KAI Access which is the responsibility of the Digital Business Unit. Digital transformation, companies need a cultureThis research was conducted through observation, interviews with the company in related units to find out real events on the object of research. After doing observations by interview, the Author performs an initial analysis of the interview results and looks for the appropriate study literature. Next, the Author determines to evaluate the digital culture of the digital business unit by distributing questionnaires to all unit employees by using CIGREF model.The results revealed that the results of a digital culture evaluation in this unit were good (86%). These results are very well seen from the seven dimensions of digital culture except two element in two dimension which are Knowledge and Responsibility.The author proposes recommendations to increase the two dimensions and further survey need to be done to measure holistically the internalization of digital culture at Digital Business Unit at PT KAI (Persero). Proposed Marketing Strategy for Increasing Sales a Case of Warung Suren
Badan Ekonomi Kreatif (BEKRAF) in 2016 noted that Culinary Industry is the sector of the top rank which contributing highest GDP in Indonesia. With the 40.4% contributed the GDP followed by fashion with 18.01% and Craft with 15.40%, as the fourth country with the largest population in the world, which drives the high demand for culinary products as their primary needs and open up the great opportunities. Warung Suren tries to take advantage of the opportunity by producing their food product starting in 2014. However, with the lack of Innovation, promotion and business system is affected the sales, which decreasing for the last two years. This research intends to find the right marketing strategy and business structure to increase sales on Warung Suren. By analyzing internal and external factor as the first step this research, using several methods to analysis internal factors with Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning (STP) and Marketing Mix (4p). While for the external are used Five Forces and PESTLE. For gathering data, Warung Suren uses a quantitative method with the questionnaire as the tool by spread the question to the respondents. Building Churn Prevention Strategy with Customer Success Approach for PT.XYZ
PT.XYZ is a state-owned company engaged in telecommunications and communications. Currently, PT XYZ aims to expand its business portfolio to digital products, one of which is the Learning Management System (LMS) product for 3T schools (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) which is included in the Software as a Service (SaaS) E-learning product category. The launch of the LMS product aims to help schools categorized as 3T in the process of Distance Learning Activities (PJJ) affected by the pandemic due to covid-19 that has been far-reaching the earth. PT.XYZ also sees that the use of technology will continue to be adapted to help the teaching and learning process even though the pandemic has ended. The company offers a one-month free trial program to acquire customers, yet only 16% are interested in and subscribe to LMS products. Moreover, the company do not know what factors make customer not interested and turn to churn. This research aims to present a reasonable strategy alternative to be adopted by PT. XYZ. This study using a mixed-method, namely using a qualitative approach to find out the success criteria of customer PT.XYZ that has been neglected and needs to be maintained through depth interview and questionnaire which variable that significantly and positively influences the success criteria of customer, find out current PT.XYZ strategy and process to helps customers achieve their success by assessing company capability through the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) based on 10 laws of customer success, find out external factors influencing the customer to churn through PEST, Porter's 5 Forces & competitor analysis. The results will be an input for the author to tailor and recommend the solution. Based on root cause analysis, the company's ability to monitor, maintain, and manage customer success has not yet reached the standard. Hence, the aspects that influence the customer to churn cannot be overcome. Based on the analysis conducted, building customer success is necessary to solve current problems and to solve problems in the future. THE READINESS OF IMPLEMENTING THE HR DIGITALIZATION SYSTEM USING HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT MATURITY AND ORGANIZATIONAL AGILITY METHOD (CASE STUDY AT PT. PIN)
In response to fluctuate in net income in the post and courier business growth projections - which supports over 55% of PT. PIN's revenue, and the positive high growth projection of e-commerce businesses by ten times and package business revenues and PT. PIN couriers decided to divert business to digital. To become a successful postal and courier company, PT. PIN created a strategic initiative with HR transformation that adopted the concept of digitalization system by considering the success factors of implementing the HR digitization system for that success. This paper aims to evaluate the implementation of strategic human resource management initiatives based on digitalization systems - the successful implementation of HR digitalization transformation, through HR Maturity and the Organizational Agility Maturity model and formulate recommendations for PT. PIN to make organizations more mature and agile. This study uses 11 dimensions of the HR Maturity Model Method and Organizational Agility as a tool. The questionnaire consisted of 2 methods, 8 dimensions, 29 indicators and 42 questions asking about the extent to which respondents agreed with the practice of the current conditions in accordance with the questions asked. The survey results indicate that PT. PIN is currently in a state of underdeveloped HR organization or at level three where the company still performs basic HR and agile functions as an organization. These results conclude that with the method used in this study, transformation can be declared less successful. This is because according to the results there are gaps in the capabilities that the organization has now with the capabilities needed in the future, such as maintaining and improving workforce optimization still need improvement and dexterity is currently still needed, especially the increase related to flexible structure.Keywords:Human Resource Management, Organizational Agility, HCM Maturity, Transformatio
