PROPOSE STRATEGY FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT AT PT AKSAMAIA REKTA NUSA
As a new consultant company, PT Aksamaia Rekta Nusa (Aksamaia) is facing the challenge of difficulties in managing the projects properly. Some recent projects experienced delays in project completion and decreased actual profit margins compare to what its planned in the beginning. This research aims to help Aksamaia to increase its project profit margin by improving the project management methodology. To improve project management for Aksamaia, it is necessary to collecting data and information to find out the existing conditions. In order to anticipates the type of data needed and the data availability, this research use qualitative research methodology. This research collected primary data by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and unstructured interview with Aksamaia directors and employees consecutively. Current Tree Reality (CRT) was used to perform root cause analysis and found five reasonable root causes and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) approach was used as guidelines to find the alternative solutions. Three alternative solutions have the highest percentage to improve the project management in Aksamaia based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis. The first alternative is improve project cost estimation process, second, conduct a formal or informal training to improve human resource capability, and third, allocate proper budget for new equipment.Keywords: project management, consultant company, PMBOK, CRT, AH
The Impact of Financial Literacy on Women's Economic Empowerment
Women are play a vital role in economic development and sustainable development of the world. Accordingly, women’s economic empowerment is a key requisite for economic growth. However, evidence shows that gender inequality and discrimination are main barriers to advances in development outcomes. Gender inequality is still a big problem for several countries, especially developing countries like Indonesia. The existence of gender gap occurs due to lower financial literacy. Financial literacy index of women in various countries is always lower than men, including in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and its five dimensions, those are financial awareness, financial knowledge, financial skills, financial attitudes, and financial behavior on women's economic empowerment. Respondents in this study were women of productive age in Indonesia. Sampling was done by using non-probability sampling technique that is convenience sampling towards 632 respondents. The data collection process was carried out using a modified questionnaire and distributed via an online form. The research data were tested simultaneously and partially which processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial literacy simultaneously has a significant effect on women's economic empowerment. Financial awareness, financial skills, financial attitudes, and financial behavior partially have a significant effect on women's economic empowerment. Meanwhile, financial knowledge has no significant effect on women's economic empowerment. PROMOTION AND STORE LISTING CONTENT STRATEGY TO INCREASE CONVERSION RATE OF LICENSED CASUAL MOBILE GAMES STUDY CASE: ONET ASLI TAHILALATS
The competition of mobile games market are more competitive. Every day thousands of new mobile games are published and most of them will never get noticed by the bigger public. In Indonesia, game developer company are increasingly using the popularity of major intellectual properties (IP) to make their games stand out. By tying their games to popular movies, TV shows or comics, they are hoping to drive user installs and revenues. Games based on IP have a history of failure and success, making it crucial to understand what makes a licensed game great, and who plays and spends in these games. Through the analysis conducted from internal and external business environment and user analysis using focus group discussion and A/B testing using analysis of variance, it is found out that in order to improve conversion rate, it needs to make a strategy with the right flow that starts from retargeting, which changes non-users and have not installed the game to become loyal users. Then the promotion strategy with several objectives to increase visits to the store listing page, and in the end optimize the store listing page so that each visit that comes from promotional activities results in a conversion.Keywords: Casual Games, Digital Strategy, Intellectual Property, Store Listing Content, Tahilalat
Influence of Motivation Factor on Consumer Engagement and Purchasing Intention for Moselo.com
Technology as main drivers of economy and the government were also aware of the change, therefore, government has been aware of the importance of the creative economy for turning the Indonesian economy's wheels. The creative economy were divided into 17 sectors which culinary, fashion and craft as the three main sector that contribute in Indonesia GDP. Moselo were an e- commerce platform that engage in the field of craft and illustration which established from PT. Komunitas Karya Kencana in 2017. The aims of this study is to enhancing brand awareness and purchase intention for Moselo brand using motivation as a drivers. Moselo were realized that motivation of their customer were impacting the brand awareness and purchase decision. The lack of brand awareness of Moselo among the audience were the main issues of this study. There are three motivation that could influence consumer engagement that may impact brand awareness and purchase intention, the motivation is hedonic motive, utilitarian motive and social motive. The data were collected in two types, the primarily data were collected from 50 respondents as a supporting data for business issue, and the study data were collected from 210 respondents from Bandung, Jakarta, Bekasi, Central Java, East Java, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Bali and Sumatera with the age range of respondents in 20-35 years old. The data was distribute used online questionnaire and processed using partial least square (PLS) estimation. The result for the study is the social motivation were significant for consumer engagement and the consumer engagement were also significant for brand awareness, therefore, brand awareness significant related to purchase intention. Among the six factor there are two motivation the hedonic and utilitarian factor that insignificant for the model. The overall analysis result generate business solution using point of parity (POP) and point of difference (POD) also purchasing decision process approaches. Furthermore, researcher were formulated 5 alternative solution such as developing brand ambassador, contest, video advertising, Instagram content and social media ads. REDUCING DEFECTS PRODUCT AT M.E. BAG AND PURSE PRODUCTION PROCESS USING DMAIC METHOD
ME bag and purse is a start-up company engaged in fahion products. ME was established on 30 September 2017 in Yogyakarta. ME bag and purse provides women's bags in a variety of needs that are simple and chic in style, with good quality materials as well as neat stitches. We really pay attention to the details of our products as a good quality control. ME bag and purse are sold at affordable prices targeting the main market for teenagers and students.In this study, ME bag and purse uses several tools to analyze conditions and factors both inside and outside the company. ME bag and purse uses DMAIC methods and business process analysis to analyze the causes of waste and defects. Defining the process using the SIPOC diagram, then measurement to determine the criteria of product defect using CTQ (critical to quality), identify the kind of defect then to measure then determine the DPU, DPMO, and the sigma value to find out how big the defect is. Thus, to find out the causes of defective product in the production process using fishbone diagram. After analyzing through the fishbone diagram, the next step is to find a solution to the problem with the method in accordance with 6Ms (man, machine, material, method, milieu, measurement).Then as a manifestation of corrective measures, improvements and solutions were carried out with a new propose strategy based on recommendations for improvement, such as conduct training sewing and pattern making, performing maintenance on sewing machines, as well as utilizing the remaining defect material as value added items, applying the 5S concept for workstations, then using KPI (key performance index) as control tools to find out how far the recommendations for improvement are going and make the schedule timeline more organized.Keywords : ME bag and purse, defect product, DMAIC methods, business process analysis CTQ, DPU, DPMO, sigma value, 6Ms, KP
Bank Competition and Profitability in South East Asia
Abstract. Using bank-level data for periods 2010-2019, this study investigates the effect of competition and bank profitability in six South East Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam). The investigation is conducted by applying Panzar and Rosse (1987) methodology to characterize the competitive environment in South East Asian banking sector and followed by examination of profitability and market structure relations to determine variables that affect bank profitability. The result indicate Singapore to be highly concentrated and at times have monopoly environment, while the other five observed countries are less concentrated and have monopolistic competition. Investigation of bank profitability relationship shows market power and market concentration have no positive significant impact on bank profitability. The effect of bank-level variables have more significance on bank profitability, although impacting variables differ for different South East Asian banking markets. STOCK ANALYSIS OF MAP AKTIF ADIPERKASA USING FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS WITH INDONESIA AFTER PANDEMIC PROJECTION
MAP Aktif Adiperkasa (MAPA) is a company engaged in the retail industry that sells various consumer needs products related to healthy lifestyle, MAPA is a subsidiary of Mitra Adiperkasa (MAPI) which manages sales in the sports equipment products sector. MAPA has special distribution rights for some of the flagship products such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok etc, MAPA outlets can be found in various public shopping places in Indonesia. In 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic entered Indonesia which caused the government to impose several regulations aimed at preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is a large-scale social restriction requiring shopping centers that result in crowds having to be closed or should not be operational. This study uses PEST analysis for macro analysis, for industry analysis using 5 force porters. For internal analysis only use financial analysis by comparing the ratio of financial ratios between MAPA and MAPI. To obtain fair value from MAPA shares using discounted cash flow and relative valuation with EBITDA, with WACC of 16.68% and using Indonesia's projected economic growth during the period of improvement after the pandemic, obtained fair value by DCF method of Rp.1.011,59. With this result, it is concluded that for now investors who own MAPA shares are advised to sell their shares and re-enter at a time when MAPA stock market price has touched its fair price. Integrated Marketing Communication To Develop Brand Identity In Fashion Business Case Study: Animal Days
The online fashion industry in Indonesia growing rapidly, especially for clothing brand. Especially in the digital era like now that can facilitate people to make buying and selling via online. So, many MSME are making use of this by selling fashion products online. Based on this, a new clothing brand like Animal Days must have the right strategy in order to compete with its competitors. In this research, Animal Days as a new brand wants to develop the brand identity by using kapferer brand identity prism analysis through Integrated Marketing Communication. This research uses quantitative method to analyze whether the brand identity of Animal Days is in accordance with the market or not by using questionnaire. From the result, Animal Days has to evaluate the brand identity on several factors. This research uses Integrated Marketing Communication (advertising, sales promotion, event & experience, public relations, direct marketing, word of mouth) to develop brand identity of Animal Days. PROPOSED MARKETING STRATEGY FOR KAI ACCESS APPLICATION (CASE STUDY IN BANDUNG)
PT. KAI released an official application called KAI Access, where there are several products and features that are only available in the application. However, the sale of train tickets in the KAI Access application is under other online travel agent applications. The researcher conducts internal analysis that consists of segmenting, targeting and positioning analysis, and marketing mix analysis. On external analysis consists of porter’s five forces analysis, competitor analysis, and customer analysis. The primary data of this research is customer analysis through questionnaire. The result is each variable of marketing mix has a significant influence on customer satisfaction except place and people. Each variable of marketing mix except price does not have a significant direct effect on customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction can significantly affect customer loyalty. Then SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity and threats) analysis is carried out based on internal and external analysis, after doing SWOT analysis is continued by doing root cause analysis. The result of root cause analysis is There are three main factors which cause lack of selling, which is external, internal and promotion. And the last, the researcher make marketing strategy recommendation by using TOWS analysis based on SWOT analysis. FINANCING STRATEGY FOR ENHANCE BUSINESS VALUE OF CIKANCANA MINI HYDRO POWER PLANT PROJECT
PT Cahaya Kancana Nusantara has plan to develop the mini hydro power plant with 4.7 MW capacity to distribute electricity in Cikancana village, Cianjur. The development of mini hydro power plant has purposed to bring electricity equality in Cianjur by using renewable energy sources. The objectives of the research is to know the financial feasibility of the project, the most sensitive factors to mini hydro power plant, and the most suitable financing strategies to enhance the business value of the company. The analysis started by analyzed internal and external factors of the business and used the data to generated cashflow from the project. NPV, IRR, and PBP are used to become indicator in financial feasibility of the project and choose the most suitable financing strategies by compare these indicators. The research show that Cikancana mini hydro power plant project are financially feasible to build in 2019. The most sensitive factors is capacity factor, long-term debt interest rate, and electricity tariff.
