Alive Library Sebagai Brand Positioning di Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada
Abstract. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of brand positioning implementation as a superiority at Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada, which effectively increase the sense of belonging and users interest. Approach used in this research was case study qualitative. The data were collected by observation, interview and study of documentation. The findings of the research are : (1) alive library as brand positioning at Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada is motivated by librarian’s concern of students’ visit restriction. (2) implementation of brand positioning at Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada is generally successful, although the implementation hasn’t fitted the theory. (3) pattern of alive library brand positioning implementation, which has a possibility to be a model of implementation at another (school) library.Keyword : alive library, brand positioning, school library, librarian. Abstrak . Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena implementasi brand positioning sebagai suatu keunggulan di Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada yang mampu meningkatkan sense of belonging dan minat kunjung pemustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawanara dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan hasil penelitian mencakup: (1) alive library sebagai brand positioning di Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada dilandasi oleh keprihatinan Pustakawan terhadap pembatasan waktu kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan. (2) implementasi brand positioning di Perpustakaan Sekolah Bina Persada dapat dikatakan berhasil, meskipun pada penerapannya belum sesuai dengan teori. (3) pola implementasi brand positioning alive library yang dapat menjadi model untuk diimplementasikan di perpustakaan (sekolah) lainnya.Kata kunci : alive library, brand positioning, Perpustakaan Sekolah, Pustakawan
STUDI TENTANG FAKTOR DAMPAK DAN INDEKS KECEPATAN PADA JURNAL ELEKTRONIK SOSIO HUMANIORA UNIVERSITAS PADJADJARAN
Abstract. Activities cite literature is an integral part of the activities of writing scientific papers. In the writing of a work in scientific journals either in the form of research results or other study results quoting the opinions of other authors contained in the same journal or different journals but still in a clump of the same science often coloring a writing. In citation analysis activities a scientific journal is known to exist several terms such as a speed index that is a measure to find out how quickly a group of documents or articles from a journal is cited in the same year and an impact factor that is a measure for the influence of an article in a journal in a given period. This study aims to examine the index of velocity and impact factors of articles published in the electronic journals (OJS) socio-humanities of Padjadjaran University. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with research type of citation analysis. The period of the journal published human socio-humanities are jurnal period published 2012-2015 with the number of articles published 128 as many scientific articles. Based on the results of this study note that the index of the density and impact factors of the human socio journal of Universitas Padjadjaran is still low. This is apparent with the lack of articles published in the humanitarian socio journal of Padjadjaran University cited or dikutif by other authors in other imitation journals as well as scientific journals of the socio-humanities of UNPAD itself
Implementasi Program Edu-tourism di Perpustakaan Museum Asia Afrika
Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan pemustaka akan informasi. Permasalahan umum yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi program edu-tourism di perpustakaan Museum konperensi Asia Afrika. Edu-tourism merupakan program yang di terapkan di perpustakaan Museum Konperensi Asia Afrika (MKAA) sebagai salah satu upaya perpustakaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemustaka yang berkunjung di perpustakaan Museum Konferensi Asia Afrika yang berjumlah 815 orang pada tahun 2015 dengan jumlah sampel 73 pemustaka yang mengunjungi Perpustakaan Museum Konperensi Asia Afrika. Hasil penelitian menunjukan program edu-tourism mampu memberikan kontribusi yang positif dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka.Kata Kunci : Edu-tourism, Kebutuhan informasi, implementasi Abstract. Issues being the topic of discussion is how implementation of edu-tourism programs in museum of the Asian African Conference library. Edu-tourism is a program implemented in museum library Asia African Conference as part of efforts to meet te information needs of the users library. Strategi Komunikasi dalam Pengembangan Desa Wisata Agro di Kabupaten Bandung Barat
Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengkaji Strategi komunikasi dalam pengembangan desa wisata agro di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Dengan metode kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, Focus Group Discussion, dan studi pustakan penelitilian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan komunikasi dan manjemen komunikasi dalam pengembangan desa wisata agro di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Manfaat dari hasil penelitian ini adakah memberikan masukan bagi pemerintah dan beberapa pihak yang terkait mengenai strategi komunikasi (pola komunikasi efektif) dalam pengembangan desa wisata, sehingga pihak-pihak tersebut mampu membuat kebijakan-kebijakan yang sangat tepat dalam pengembangan desa wisata terutama desa wisata agro di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Desa yang mmeiliki potensi sebagai Desa Agro Wisata di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, perlu diadakannya pola pembinaan agro wisata agar para pelaku pariwisata dan pelaku pertanian secara sinergis dapat merencanakan, menyusun, memprogramkan agro wisata yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, pengusaha, dan pemerintah. Dalam hal ini perlu adanya komunikasi yang baik antar pihak. Dengan terjalinnya komunikasi yang baik antar pihak maka harmonisasi sosial dalam pengembangan desa wisata agro ini akan tercapai. Strategi komunikasi sangat penting karena ia merupakan paduan perencanaan komunikasi (communication planning) dan manajemen komunikasi (communication management) untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. This study examines the communication strategy in the development of agro-tourism village in West Bandung regency. Use qualitative methods and techniques of data collection through interviews, observation, focus group discussions, and the library to study aims to determine the penelitilian communications planning and management of communication in the development of agro-tourism village in West Bandung regency. The benefits of this research is there to provide input for the government and some interested parties about the communication strategy (pattern of effective communication) in the development of rural tourism, so that the parties are able to make policies that are particularly appropriate in rural tourism development especially rural agro-tourism in West Bandung regency. Based on the research results, in West Bandung regency, especially in Lembang, keep holding the pattern of development of agro-tourism so that the perpetrators of tourism and agriculture synergistically actors can plan, arrange, program an agro-tourism that benefit the community, employers, and government. In this case the need for good communication between the parties. With good communications between the parties, harmonized social development of rural agro-tourism will be achieved. The communication strategy is very important because it is a blend of communication planning and communication management to achieve a goal. Hubungan Antara Informasi dalam Akun Instagram @fxsudirman dengan Sikap Followers Terhadap Mall Fx Sudirman
Abstrak. Penelitian berjudul Hubungan antara Informasi dalam Akun Instagram dengan Sikap Followers terhadap Mall FX Sudirman ini merupakan penelitian yang berawal dari aktivitas penyebaran informasi yang dilakukan oleh Mall FX Sudirman melalui media sosial Instagram. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji teori Integrasi Informasi dengan mencoba mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan antara valensi informasi dalam akun instagram @fxsudirman dengan sikap follower dan sejauhmana bobot informasi dalam akun instagram @fxsudirman dengan sikap follower. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional, melalui uji hipotesis Rank Spearman dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 91 orang yang terpilih berdasarkan teknik sampling sistematik. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner, observasi,dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa informasi dalam akun instagram @fxsudirman memiliki hubungan yang cukup berarti dengan sikap followers-nya. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh aspek valensi informasi yang positif dan bobot informasi yang tinggi berkorelasi positif terhadap sikap followers. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa informasi dalam @fxsudirman dapat membentuk sikap followers akun instagram mall FX Sudirman. Saran yang diberikan secara praktis agar @fxsudirman menambah jumlah posting-an gambar atau foto yang disertai caption dengan penjelasan yang detail juga membalas atau menjawab setiap pertanyaan atau komentar dari follower-nya untuk lebih membentuk sikap followers terhadap @fxsudirman.Kata Kunci : hubungan, Informasi, Sikap Abstract. The study entitled the relationship between information in Instagram account with Attitude Followers of the Mall FX Sudirman This is a research that started from the information activities undertaken by the Mall FX Sudirman through social media Instagram. This study was conducted to test the theory, Information Integration by trying to determine the extent of the relationship between the valence @fxsudirman instagram account information in the manner and extent of weight follower account information with an attitude @fxsudirman instagram followers. The method used in this study is correlational method, through hypothesis test Rank Spearman (rs) with descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. Respondents of this study as many as 91 people were selected by systematic sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the information in @fxsudirman instagram account has a significant relationship with the attitude of his followers. This is due to the positive aspects of the information valence and high weights were positively correlated information on the attitudes of followers. It was concluded that the information in @fxsudirman can shape the attitudes followers instagram account Sudirman FX mall. The advice given is practical in order to increase the number of post-@fxsudirman an image or photo caption accompanied with detailed explanations also reply to or menjaawab any question or comments from his followers to further shape attitudes towards @ FX Sudirman followers.Keywords: Relations, Information, Attitud
PERSEPSI PUSTAKAWAN TENTANG PERMENPAN NOMOR 9 TAHUN 2014 TERHADAP KINERJA PUSTAKAWAN
Functional position is applied for librarians who work in the library of government agency or librarian of Civil State Apparatus. The implementation of functional position is the effort to assign and measure the performance of librarian through the assessment system of work implementation with credit numbers. Librarian as profession and functional position is demanded to have good performance in doing his/her task and function. Librarians perform professional performance in the field of library based on Permenpan Reformasi Birokrasi No. 9 tahun 2014 (Regulation of the Minister of the State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform Number 9 Year 2014). How is the perception of librarian in that regulation? Does this perception influence the implementation of performance standard in library? Both questions are studied by using descriptive quantitative method and the research sample is purposive sampling, which use 14 librarians in central library of Indonesia University of Education. Fifty percent of librarians agree, and 36 % of them very agree that the cluster, task, function, and stage of librarian functional position concretely provide explanation and comprehension in doing their performance. Fifty four percent of respondents significantly agree while 23% of them very agree that their comprehension in the standard of professional performance contributes to the implementation of performance, which includes quality, quantity, and teamwork
Membangun Kecerdasan Komunikasi dalam Layanan di Perpustakaan
Abstrak. Salah satu upaya perpustakaan dalam memenuhi harapan pemustaka adalah meningkatkan layanan kepada pemustaka. Komunikasi dalam konteks layanan perpustakaan mengajarkan kepada kita bagaimana berkomunikasi, berinteraksi, menjalin hubungan dengan pemustaka atau pemakai perpustakaan sehingga tercipta kesan yang menarik dan dapat memberikan kepuasan kepada pengguna atau penerima layanan. Pemberian layanan jasa berupa informasi kepada pemakai identik dengan sikap melayani. Komunikasi yang cerdas merupakan strategi komunikasi yang tepat untuk diterapkan dalam layanan di perpustakaan. Dengan membangun kecerdasan komunikasi dalam layanan di perpustakaan sangat diharapkan pemustaka akan merasa puas dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan merasa nyaman berada di perpustakaan. Kecerdasan komunikasi untuk layanan diperpustakaan dibangun dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi yaitu berbicara yang benar dalam memberikan bantuan informasi, menggunakan kata-kata yang efektif dalam merespon pesan atau kebutuhan pemustaka, menggunakan kata-kata yang pantas untuk menghargai pemustaka dan bertutur kata lemah lembut dalam memberikan bimbingan. Dengan menerapkan kelima prinsip komunikasi dalam layanan di perpustakaan selain dapat mewujudkan layanan prima juga akan memberikan citra yang baik bagi perpustakaan. Building smart communication in library service is hope user be satisfaction in searching information and comfortable in library. PERENCANAAN PENERAPAN APLIKASI WEB 2.0 UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN ORGANISASI DI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA
Library of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has a quality policy commitment to continuous improvement in every area and process. It can be achieved by continuously optimizing organizational learning. Web 2.0 is a media application that can help the organizational learning process because it has the characteristics of read and write, as well as having the flexibility of time use, but the application must be in accordance with the culture and character of the organization. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the Web 2.0 application that can be applied to the organizational learning in the Library of UPI. The method used is a mixed method qualitative and quantitative approach. Research stage refers to the stage of planning and support phases of Web 2.0 Tools Implementation Model. The results showed that the application of Web 2.0 can be applied to the organizational learning in the Library UPI. It refers to the tendency of organizational culture Library of UPI that is good and tendency of HR Library UPI attitude against the use of the Internet and computers are very good. Web 2.0 applications that can be used by UPI library are blogs, online forums, and wiki as a primary tools. Facebook, Youtube, chat application, twitter and Instagram as a supporting tools
Pengaruh Iklim Organisasi Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Tenaga Perpustakaan Pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran
Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran, (2) Pengaruh struktur terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran, (3) Pengaruh standar-standar terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran (4) Pengaruh tanggung jawab terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 25 orang tenaga perpustakaan CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Iklim organisasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran, (2) Struktur memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran, (3) Standar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran, dan (4) Tanggung jawab memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran. Iklim organisasi pada CISRAL Universitas Padjadjaran dikategorikan kondusif, namun sebaiknya perpustakaan dapat menciptakan iklim organisasi yang lebih kondusif dan nyaman agar produktivitas kerja tenaga perpustakaan semakin meningkat. Based on the research results show that (1) The climate of the Organization had a significant influence on work productivity of librarian at CISRAL Padjadjaran University (2) Structures have a significant influence on work productivity of librarian at CISRAL Padjadjaran University (3) Standards have a significant influence on work productivity of librarian at CISRAL Padjadjaran University and (4) The responsibility of having a significant influence on work productivity of librarian at CISRAL Padjadjaran University. Organizational climate at CISRAL Padjadjaran University categorized conducive, but we suggest that library can create organizational climates more conducive and comfortable for work productivity increasing librarian. PROTOTIPE LITERASI INFORMASI BERBASIS WEB SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SISWA MAN INSAN CENDEKIA
Abstract. Information Literacy (IL) Program is a library program that aims to improve the ability of library users to recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information. Information literacy learning is essential to be taught and applied in education from the beginning of the school so that students are able to find and organize information effectively and efficiently particularly regard to the school assignment and learning process. At present, various educational institutions began to implement online learning model to improve the quality of teaching and research quality. Due to the advancement of information technology, the information literacy program should be adjusted with the needs of library users. The purpose of this study was to design web-based information literacy model for school library. This research conducted through several stages which are: identifying the needs of web-based IL, designing web-based IL, determining the model and the contents of a web-based IL tutorial, and creating a prototype webbased IL. The results showed that 90,74% of respondents stated the need of web-based learning IL. The prototype of web-based learning IL is consisted of six main units using combination of the Big6 Skills model and 7 Concept of Information Literacy by Shapiro and Hughes. The main fiveth units are Library Skill, Resource Skill, Research Skill, Reading Skill, and Presenting Literacy. This prototype web-based information literacy is expected to support the information literacy learning in a holistic approach
