    Hubungan Body Image dengan Kepercayaan Diri pada Remaja Karang Taruna di Kecamatan Turi

    Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara body image dengan kepercayaan diri pada remaja Karang Taruna di Kecamatan Turi. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana persepsi remaja terhadap tubuhnya berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepercayaan dirinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional, dengan teori body image menurut Thompson dan teori kepercayaan diri menurut Lauster sebagai acuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran skala menggunakan Google Form kepada 127 responden, terdiri dari 52 laki-laki dan 75 perempuan, dengan mayoritas berusia 20 tahun. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS, data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, linearitas, dan korelasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara body image dan kepercayaan diri dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05) dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,642, yang berarti body image memberikan kontribusi 64,2% terhadap kepercayaan diri, sementara 35,8% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Kategorisasi data menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden termasuk dalam kategori body image tinggi (92,1%) serta memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri yang tergolong tinggi (44,9%). Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remaja yang memandang tubuhnya secara lebih positif cenderung menunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan diri yang lebih tinggi. Dengan demikian, body image menjadi salah satu faktor utama yang berperan dalam pembentukan kepercayaan diri pada remaja Karang Taruna di Kecamatan Turi

    Analysis of Employee Well-being among Part-Time Student Workers in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on Demographic Characteristics

    This study aims to describe the demographic characteristics and the level of employee well-being (EWB) among university students working part-time in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as to analyze the relationship and influence of demographic variables on the three core dimensions of EWB: Life Well-being (LWB), Workplace Well-being (WWB), and Psychological Well-being (PWB). Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 496 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were gathered via an online questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The results show that many respondents were female, 21 years old, enrolled in public universities, in their final semester, and working in the small-scale food and beverage sector. Overall, EWB levels were relatively high, particularly in the WWB and PWB dimensions, while LWB was at a moderate level. Age, type of university, and semester showed significant but weak relationships and influences on certain dimensions of well-being. These findings highlight the need for greater support to enhance the well-being of student workers in informal employment settings

    Hubungan Mood di Dunia Kerja dengan Produktivitas Kerja Gen-Z di Yogyakarta

    Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara mood (suasana hati) dan produktivitas kerja pada Generasi Z di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert 4 poin terhadap 348 responden berusia 18–27 tahun yang aktif bekerja, terdiri atas 150 laki-laki (43,1%) dan 198 perempuan (56,9%), dengan mayoritas bekerja secara full-time (75,6%). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara mood dan produktivitas kerja (r = 0,489; p = 0,000). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi suasana hati yang positif berperan penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja Generasi Z. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan program manajemen mood serta integrasi aspek kesejahteraan psikologis dalam kebijakan pengembangan sumber daya manusia guna mendukung pembangunan SDM yang berkelanjutan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

    Social Support and Post Traumatic Growth in Wives of Domestic Violence Victims: Coping Strategies as Mediators

    This Domestic violence experienced by wives is a traumatic event that has a negative impact. However, victims of domestic violence can experience positive changes after experiencing trauma (post traumatic growth). This study aims to examine the role of coping strategies as a mediator in the relationship between social support and PTG. The measuring instruments used were PTGI (α = .931), MSPSS (α = .941), Brief-COPE (α = .878) and PTSD Checklist DSM 5 (α = .940). Participants in this study were 118 wives who had experienced domestic violence in the form of physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence or domestic neglect violence with an age range of 19-59 years. The results showed a significant positive relationship between social support and PTG (r=.412, p<0.01), a significant positive relationship between problem-focused coping (r=.436, p<0.01) and emotion-focused coping (r=.501, p<0.01) and PTG and an insignificant positive relationship between dysfunctional coping (r=.072) and PTG. Problem-focused coping (p<0.05, 95% CI [0.037, 0.185]) and emotion-focused (p<0.05, 95% CI [0.050, 0.188]) acted as mediators in the relationship between social support and PTG while dysfunctional coping (p<0.05, 95% CI [-0.012, 0.019]) did not act as a mediator. The benefits of this study help victims of domestic violence choose the right coping strategy. For the community, it increases their insight into the importance of social support from family, friends and other important people to help victims through the traumatic phase of domestic violence

    Perception of Divorced Mothers on the Role of Father's Involvement in Child Emotional Regulation with Coparental Interaction as Moderator

    When parents divorce, fathers are often less involved in parenting. Whereas one of the factors that can affect the ability of emotion regulation in children and adolescents is father involvement in parenting. This study aims to determine the relationship between father involvement and emotion regulation of children and adolescents which is moderated by coparental interaction. Coparental interaction is how a divorced couple is involved in raising children together even though their marriage relationship has ended. The participants of this study were 330 divorced women, who had children aged ranging from 2-18 years. Data collection used three measurement tools, namely the Father Engagement, the Emotion Regulation Checklist (ERC), and the Coparenting Scale for Dissolved Relationships (MCS-DR). The results show that Coparental interaction acts as a moderator in the relationship between father involvement and emotion regulation. This study provides evidence that coparental interaction can increase father involvement in parenting which has an impact on children's emotion regulation. Implementing programs that can maintain a pattern of mutually supportive and cooperative relationships in divorced couples can reduce the impact of divorce on children

    Development of Parenting FoMO Scale on Parents Using Social Media

    This study aimed to develop a Parenting FoMO scale on parents using social media in Indonesia. Parenting FoMO is measured through four dimensions: missed experience, compulsion, comparing with others, and being left out. This study involved 115 parents using social media with children aged below 18 years old. Analysis methods used were Cronbach Alpha to examine reliability, analysis item using Corrected-Item Total Correlation (CrIT) and factor loading with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to examine validity. Results exhibit that the Parenting FoMO scale is valid and reliable for measuring Parenting FoMO on parents using social media

    Role of Engaging Leadership in Work Engagement: Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction as Mediator

    The most important asset of an organization is its human resources. A situation where employees have an emotional and intellectual commitment to the organization or have work engagement is a condition that is highly expected by all organizations. This research aims to examine the role of engaging leadership on work engagement, mediated by basic psychological needs. This research involved a total of 140 participants (men= 73; women= 67) who were private employees in the city of Bandung. The average age of male respondents was 36.8 years and female were 33.9 years. In this research, three measuring instruments were used, namely, the utrech work engagement scale, the basic psychological needs satisfaction scale, and the engaging leadership scale. The results of the mediation test showed that the mediation that occurred was partial. This means that engaging leadership shows its role in work engagement, with or without being mediated by the fulfillment of basic psychological needs. These findings provide a scientific contribution to the field of work engagement studies which explains the relationship dynamics of how engaging leadership can make employees more engaged at work. The practical implications of this research can be in the form of company efforts to develop the ability of leaders to provide empowering, connecting, strengthening and inspiring support to their subordinates, to increase the work engagement of their subordinates

    Social Media Addiction and Mental Health in Adolescents

    The article aims to examine the relationship between social media addiction and mental health, especially in adolescents. Social media is one of the platforms widely used by adolescents. Excessive use of social media risks making addiction in its users. Social media addiction is the excessive use of social media that interferes with daily life. Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stress in their lives, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their communities. The study used a correlational quantitative method. A total of 333 subjects aged 16-21 years (M = 18.11, SD = 0.88) have participated in the study and filled out the Social Networking Addiction Scale and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) scale which consists of 3 scales namely depression, anxiety and stress. The results of the study using correlation analysis showed a negative relationship between social media addiction and mental health in adolescents (rho=-0.316). Furthermore, social media addiction is positively related to depression, anxiety and stress in adolescents (rho=0.284; 0.297 and 0.318). The research data also showed that 33.04% of the research subjects experienced social media addiction

    Post Traumatic Growth in Early Adults from Divorced Families

    Individuals with divorced parents are at high risk of developing post-traumatic stress disorder, but traumatic events can help individuals to learn things and develop competencies that they did not have before, which is called Post Traumatic Growth (PTG). The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of PTG from individuals who experienced parental divorce. The approach used in this study was phenomenological qualitative. The researcher conducted semi-structured interviews with six participants who experienced parental divorce as children or adolescents. Researchers used purposive sampling method in selecting participants. The results of the study concluded that all participants experienced changes in all dimensions of PTG after their parents divorced, namely changes in interpersonal relationships, changes in spiritual development, the emergence of appreciation for life, the emergence of new opportunities/priorities, and the emergence of self-strength after parental divorc

    Political Awareness, National Identity, and Knowledge of General Elections among Generation Z in Indonesia

    Generation Z, as the productive age group, has a significant role in the political development of a country. Although this age group is often seen as abstaining or disconnected from politics, their political awareness is essential as the nation's successors. Therefore, the present study investigated the relationship between political awareness, national identity, and knowledge about the general election among Generation Z in Indonesia. A total of 626 participants aged 17 and 21 years were recruited from 25 provinces in Indonesia using a voluntary sampling technique. Data were collected using the Political Awareness Scale and National Identity Scale, distributed through online questionnaires. The correlation analysis showed that national identity and knowledge about elections had a significant and positive relationship with political awareness with moderate strength. Moreover, the study found that most Generation Z had a high political awareness, national identity, and knowledge of the 2024 general elections. A significant difference was also reported in political awareness and national identity between Generation Z, who participated in social organizations and engaged as political party sympathizers, and those who did not. Therefore, promoting a sense of belonging to the country could foster political awareness in Generation Z, which will boost their active political participation
