Evaluasi Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan FEB Undip Berdasarkan Harapan dan Persepsi Pemustaka dengan Metode LibQUAL
Library quality services evaluation is an important activity for acadernic libraries. This research is to evaluate service quality library at Economica and Business Faculty of Diponegoro University base on desired and perceived of users with LibQUAL methods. The aims to measurement library service qualityfrom desired and perceived users, and to know service library dimensions don't fullfill desired and perceived users. Quality is defined as "capability" - how good is the library? LibQUAL is effective total survey market to contact research in library to evaluation library quality service. Assessment based on perceived, minimum expectations, and desired. LibQUAL method gives users a chance to tell library where library services need improvement so it can respond to and better manage their expectations. Dimensions in LibQUAL consist of: Service Affect (SA), Library as Place (LP), Personal Control (PC), and Information Access (IA). Population is taken from Diploma III Program; Regular I, and Reguler II students, year 2009/2010 with proporsional stratified random sampling and the total sample is 81 respondents. This research used quantitative method with sumey and evaluation research. Users were asked to complete a questionnaire. Analyze its to know average perceived, minimum, and desired. The distance of the perceived score from the minimum score (P - M) creates a adequacy gap, and from the desired score (P – I) creates a superiority gap. The result shows that library service quality is fuffill minimum expectation of users. This means users had "enough satisfaction" with service perceived

Abstrac
Penilaian Mahasiswa S1, S2, dan S3 terhadap Sumber Daya Perpustakaan di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Gadjah Mada
This research was aimed to find out the evaluation from the students of undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program toward library resources in the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The result of this research was expected to give benefit to develop the library resources for giving the excellent services to the user. This research used quantitative method, questionnaire as the data collection method, and descriptive statistic method for analizing data. The subject of this research was 159 students from undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program as the user of the library. The results showed standard value for each program: undergraduate (2,545963), graduate comprised with Master of Science (2,644517) and Master of Profession (2,541234), and doctor (2,982143). If the value higher than (>) standard value included high categories and less than (<) or equal with (:) standard value included low categories. The comprehensive result of this research showed that (1) high categories evaluation came from the aspects of collection relevancy, circulation, facilities (security, temperature, light, and lay out), and human resources; (2) low categories evaluation came from the aspects of collection (composition of subject and language), services (time, number of collection, duration of borrowing books, and interlibrary borrowing books), facilities (space, table, and chair), information technology (computer/internet, internet accessibility, and multimedia); and (3) variation of high-low evaluation came from the aspects of collection (recently and completeness) services (searching, multimedia, and fine), and information technology (library based on information technology and browsing)
KINERJA LAYANAN RUJUKAN PADA UPT PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS JEMBER (Studi Kasus di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Jember)
A study on performance of reference service at the Main Library, University of Jember began from considering library resources such as collection and staff who were competent in exploiting information resources for user needs, The objective of library service was satisbing user needs through information resources available in the library. There were 3 components of reference service which supported each other in giving satisfaction to users, i.e. documents retrieved, precision and time for service. Whereas factors affecting reference service performance were human resources and collaboration. Fifty samples were taken from the period of January - July 2001. Data collection used interviews, questionnaries, and documentation. Samples were taken using simple random method. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative technique. The Study concluded that reference service performance could statisfy user needs of information.

SIKAP PEMAKAI TERHADAP PELAYANAN SIRKULASI DI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIT II UGM
Circulation service is the front line in achieving library objective which is to fulfill user's needs through information resources available in library. Based on the statement, this research is intended to know how success of Gadjah Mada University/GMU Library is in playing its role and function to fulfill the information needs of users. User's attitude on the circulation service is that may be negative or positive.
There are three components which support each other in attitude building i.e. cognitive, affective, and behavior. The research aims to: 1) to find out user's attitude on the circulation service of Unit 2, Gadjah Mada University Library 2) to find out attitude differences based on gender, age, and scientific-social sciences on the circulation service of Unit 2, Gadjah Mada University Library. The research was held at Unit2 GMU Library and took sample of 100 respondents of graduate students that were registered as GMU Library members. Analysis method that was used in the research was descriptive quantitative with a statistic method. Analysis and hypotheses testing used Oneway Anova. The conclusions of the research showed that: users attitude on the circulation services were good and fairly good. There were no attitude differences on the circulation service based on gender and age. There were significant attitude differences between scientific students and non scientific (social) students on the circulation service.

MANAJEMEN PUBLIKASI HASIL PENELITIAN PADA PUSAT STUDI UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA
Manajemen publikasi hasil penelitian Pusat Studi di Universitas Gadjah Mada merupakan kegiatan dalam melaksankan fungsi-fungsi; perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengkordinasian, pengelolaan personalia, dan pengawasan dalam kegiatan desirninasi publikasi terhadap basil penelitian pusat studi. Kegiatan publikasi berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi antara para peneliti dengan masyarakat pengguna, civitas akademika maupun masyarakat umum. Secara fisik bentuk publikasi hasil penelitian dapat berbentuk: Jumal Ilmiah, Buku Monograf, Prosiding Seminar Hasil Penelitian, Buku Refensi, dan hasil penelitian yang didesiminasikan secara digital, diterbitkan dalam majalah ilmiah tingkat nasional dan tingkat intemasional.
Indikator keberhasilan manajemen publikasi hasil penelitian pada pusat studi pada dasamya ditunjukkan oleh besamya kontribusi terhadap kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni. Indikator yang disebutkan ini sulit untuk mengukur keberhasilan, sehingga diperlukan indikator terukur yang mudah, dievaluasi dan dikembangkan pada masa yang akan datang. 1ndikator-indikator keberhasilan publikasi hasil peneltian pada pusat studi dapat disebutkan: 1) jumlah publikasi dalam bentuk jurnal, prosiding seminar hasil penelitian, buku monograf, buku hasil penitian, hasil penelitian yang didesminasikan secara digital, diterbitkan dalam majalan ilmiah; 2) tingkat akreditasi jumal yang dikelola pusat studi; 3) jumlah publikasi ilmiah pusat studi yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarkat pengguna, dan 4) tingkat tanggapan atas pemanfaatan publikasi Keberhasilan manajemen publikasi hasil penelitian pada pusat studi tidak hanya dimaknai sebagai penyokong terhadap kontribusinya bagi tercapainya misi universitas sebagai universitas riset, tetapi lebih dari itu dimaksudkan untuk pemanfaatan bagi masyarakat. Pemegang manajemen pada tingkat pusat studi temyata mempunyai peranan yang sangat strategis dalam menentukan kebijakan dalam pencapaian kerberhasilan publikasi hasil penelitian. Setiap pusat studi mempunyai keberagaman dalam mengelola penyelenggaraan publikasi ilmiah, sehingga menghasilan kualitas publikasi ilmiah yang berbeda pula. Cara tepat untuk mengelola publikasi hasil penelitian adalah dengan cara-cara yang efektif dan efisien dalam pelaksanaan fungsifungsi manajemen yang berlaku.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pusat studi telah melalukan publikasi hasil penelitian dengan standar sedang, hanya sebagian kecil pusat studi yang telah melakukan publikasi hasil penelitian dengan standar baik. Kondisi ini akan terus berubah seiring dengan perkembangan kebijakan IPTEKS dan didukung oleh kebij akan universitas.

International Librarianship : An Alternative Perspective of Indonesian Library School Courses
The paper presents the writer's view about the course of International Librarianship that should be offered by library schools in Indonesia. As the course is relatively new to most library schools in Indonesia, the writer tries to propose the syllabus for the course which includes the goals and objectives and how the course should be conducted. Certain emphases are given for the course to be which comprises aspects such as library regional and international cooperation, comparative studies among libraries of particular region like South East Asia in relation to human resources, application of infoimation technology, services and problems encountered by libraries of different countries

The attribute that is used in research is the ease factor ro find the information, accessibility, availability of rite library collections. librarian behavior and user behavior.The data thor is used in this research is the primary data that fouaded byquestionnaire of respondents who are writing the thesis and dissertation in the library of the Faculty of Philosophy of Gadjah Mada University between 2005 to 2010 academic years . The instmmem are used in this research using SPSS to get the variables that is considered writing thesis and dissertation as well as tofi nd the most coveted combi110tion for the user looking for information source from online diltabases.The result of the research show that the user references of the informationsourcesfrom onli11e databases however the collections that are available in print in the librtuy of the Faculty of Philosophy of Gadiah Mada University are still needed. Based on the demographic of respondents, the most user who come in the library qf the Faculty of Philosophy of Gadjah Mada University is man in bachelor degree with the rate is 50,8%, 72,9 % are the bachelor degree respondents In productive age between 21-30 years old. and the most respondents is bachelor degree (Sf ) is 55%,While the use of internet is 3-5 hour a day, the use of online darabases as references in write rhe thesis mtd dissertation is 83.1 %. The research show that the users who access of the information sources using online databases in the library of the Faculty of Philosophy of Gadjah Mada University to writes the thesis mul dissertation is more than the users who looks for print reforences in the Library of the Faculty of Philosophy of Gadjah Mada University to writes the thesis and dissertation. The t«ers choose the online databases as a means of accessing i'![ormation because of low cost, the information is up dare, and complete, it can used to shore the in.fonnarion, and easy to use depend use prim collection in the library
Analisis Pengunjung Perpustakaan dan Peminjaman Buku Tercetak pada Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga
Library as an information center is bridge toward mastery of science and technology. Libraries have an important contribution to the opening of information about science. The library is the heart of the academic life of activity, because information can be obtained from the library that can be used as a basis for the development of science. Airlangga University Library supports the achievement of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi by providing resources that support the learning process, it is necessary to do research on traffic levels and the amount of borrowing books from Airlangga University student group. The results of the research library of the University of Airlangga shows the largest number of visitors to the library during the year 2013 which is 102 347 people FISIP students. Students of the Faculty of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries at least coming to the library which is 3,126 people. The percentage of borrowers associated with the most visitors are the students of the Faculty of Law which is 50.4% or 7,207 persons. While the percentage of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at least borrow a book that is 5.8% or 1,528 people
HUBUNGAN MASA KERJA DENGAN STRES KERJA PADA PU STAKAWAN PERPUS TAKAAN UNIVERSITAS GAD JAH MADA YOGYAKARTA
A stress could happen to everyone. A stress which is related to work is well known as a wark stress. The more someone works the more stressors (sources of stress) will be received. Its research is aimed at recognizing the correlation between work length and work stress on Librarian of Library of Gadjah Mada University. The research uses a quantitative method with a questianer as a data collecting instrument. It is also a population research that takes total population of 3l persons.
Primary data is processed tofind out the work stress level. The outcome of the research that has been already known is about 41,9 o%r espondentso r l3 librarians got low level work stressa nd 58,1% o respondentso r lS librarians don'tg ot stressI.t consistso f 7 mena nd 6 womano fwhich 2 of thema re from senior high school; 6 librarians arefrom diploma; 4 librarians arefrom undergraduate, and the last one isfrom graduate level. Viewingfrom respondentsa ges,l ibrarians that are affectedb y low level workstress are 5 librarians (31-40years old); 3librarians (41-50years old) and 5librarians (above 50years old). Viewingfrom the work lengtHS of the libarrians that experience low level work stress are divided into 4 groups. For librarians who have work length less than 6 years have got no work stress; 6-12 years is I rspondent; 13-18 years is 4 respondents; and more than 18 years is 7 respondents;havegotlowlevelofworkstress.Thceo nclusion is that a work stressc ould happen to librarians of Library of Gadjah Mada University. Meanwhile, the result of statistic test using spearman'sr ho testi s knownt hatp significancel evel is 0,06w hich meanst hat it is bigger thanp table that only 0,05.I t meanst hat hypotheticz ero is acceptedI.t could be said that therei s no significance correlation betweenwork length andwork stress on librarian of Library of Gadjah Mada UniversiQ.
