    Effects of Holding Time During Artificial Aging Process on AA6061 to the Mechanical Properties

    Materials that have been frequently used for automotive or construction equipment are Aluminum Alloys (AA) 6061. Artificial aging is one of the processes to obtain optimal strength and hardness values. In this process, depending on the temperature and holding time. In this study, experiments have been carried out on the effects of holding time during the artificial aging process. Heating a solid solution at 300C for 1 hour is the first step. The holding time variations used are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 hours. Experiments have been made on impact strength, hardness values and microstructure. For hardness values decrease with increasing holding time. When holding time for 1 hour has a value of 80.8 HVN while the holding time of 5 hours has a hardness value of 47.4 HVN. But in impact testing, the impact strength increases with increasing holding time. Both of these have been supported by microstructure observation data

    LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an active remote sensing system using a laser beam that can generate information about ground topographic characteristics in a horizontal and vertical position. In Indonesia it is still rare to use green waves in LiDAR data retrieval, so the infrared wave generates a value the point cloud elevation is refracted because it can not penetrate the depth of the water. In making aquatic objects from LiDAR acquisition results required method to create a surface water is better. One method of making DTM in aquatic area on data processing LiDAR is hydro enforcement. DTM processing using hydro enforcement method starting from draping terrain of aquatic bodies, eliminating mass points in waters up breakline formation for aquatic bodies according to draping results that have intervals between points cloud in the water body is 0.5 meters. Then do the process of macro hydro enforcement on LiDAR processing software. The results of this study indicate the quality of DTM with hydro enforcement method provides smooth and good visualization for planning infrastructure in irrigation works, water gates and providing good detail. However, this hydro enforcement method still lacks in terms of accuracy, so that the elevation of the aquatic bodies can not be used as a benchmark prior to the sampling field data retrieva

    Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa kegiatan di laboratorium Fundamental Kimia sangat erat terkait dengan alat-alat gelas, instrumen khusus dan bahan-bahan kimia. Penggunaan alat/instrumen dan bahan kimia dapat mengakibatkan kecelakaan jika pengguna laboratorium tidak memahami secara tepat tata cara penggunaannya. Laboratorium kimia merupakan tempat kerja yang memiliki banyak potensi bahaya. Ini meliputi larutan kimia, ledakan reaksi kimia, dan panas dari peralatan. Seseorang yang bekerja di laboratorium kimia harus menggunakan peralatan pelindung diri (personal protective equipment). Laboratoriumnya juga dilengkapi dengan alat-alat keselamatan kerja. Kecelakaan di laboratorium bisa terjadi akibat kurangnya pengawasan, pengguna laboratorium kurang memahami bahaya dan cara menangani ketika terjadi kecelakaan, hal ini bisa berdampak fatal pada praktikan, lingkungan sekitar dan orang-orang yang bekerja di laboratorium. Dalam Program Penelitian Khusus Tenaga Kependidikan Pranata Laboratorium Pendidikan ini, dilakukan kajian yang bisa memberikan solusi untuk meminimalisasi dan mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan selama kerja di laboratorium melalui sosialisasi berkala setiap awal semester terhadap praktisi sains tentang pemahaman dan kesadaran terhadap bahaya di laboratorium yang mungkin terjadi beserta upaya penanganannya dan juga perlunya memahami Standar Operasional Procedure (SOP). Dengan demikian akan tercipta suasana kerja di laboratorium yang aman, nyaman dan kondusif sebagai upaya Perlindungan dan Pengendalian Lingkungan Kampus Berkelanjutan sebagai sarana belajar keilmuan serta menciptakan inovasi-inovasi penelitian yang update untuk mendukung ITS menuju research university, mampu bersaing dengan laboratorium-laboratorium di level internasional

    A Comparative Study of Public Open Space Handling Methodology in Urban Area

    Public open spaces (POS) handling in urban areas, regardless of their form, can be approached by various methods based on the potential and problems that exist in the POS. The public open spaces here can be in the form of green open spaces in the area, roads, parks, or outside natural spaces that function as public service facilities, including areas of the site developed into POS. Through this article we will look at four different cases for POS in three European cities and one Indonesian city which are carried out with different approaches as presented from the four scientific articles studied. The selected cities are located in Turkey, Cyprus, Montenegro and Denpasar, Indonesia. The reason for choosing four cities in various countries was also based on the physical and cultural character of these countries. By studying the different approaches taken, it is hoped that an understanding of the relationship between POS management results and the POS factual problems will result in the conclusion of the most appropriate approach to choose. Thus, it is expected to also find a relationship between the physical and cultural character of a country with the pattern of handling the city's public space

    Workload Analysis at Biro Human Capital to Increase Productivity

    PT XYZ is a company in Indonesia engaged in manufacturing. One strategy to support these activities is to adjust the workload of the existing work to increase productivity in this company. Workload is very influential on employee performance productivity because the environment and work capacity are aligned with productivity. If the burden received is too heavy, then employee productivity will decrease, whereas if the workload is balanced then employee productivity will increase. Workload Analysis is a method used to determine the time, effort, and resources needed by an organization in identifying the actual needs of Human Resources (HR) in quality and quantity in accordance with the goals and strategies of the organization. Workload analysis with Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) is the allocation of the total number of personnel needed to work on the entire transaction in a system / process at a certain time / period. The staff allocated includes full-time, part-time and short-hour. While the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method is a method used to analyze workers 'mental workload by measuring workers' subjective perceptions. This study will combine both methods to get the expected conclusions. This study aims to measure workload analysis aimed at making the workload between the sections in the Human Capital Bureau to be equally. The calculation results from the FTE stated that the workload contained in the Human Capital Bureau is still not evenly distributed, the recruitment and assessments section has a workload that tends to be low while other parts have a workload that tends to be high.     Agung Volcano is a stratovolcano located in the area of Karangasem regency of Bali and is in the northwest-southeast fault alignment with Batur, Abang and Seroja Volcano. The existence of this alignment allegedly related to the fracture in the northwest of the island of Bali. The eruption of Agung Volcano recorded on November 25th, 2017 was a significant danger for people living around it. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the activity of Agung Volcano. The method used in this study is the relocation of volcanic earthquake sources to determine the location of the source of the earthquake which caused an increase in Mount activity. Hypocenter relocation was carried out on 138 earthquake events during October 2017-January 2018 using the Coupled Velocity-Hypocenter method. Hypocenter was obtained at a depth of less than 10 km under sea level with an RMS value <0.3 seconds, and this is thought to have a flow of magma fluid through the conduit which moves towards the earth's surface and triggers an eruptio

    Aku Pintar Indonesia enterprise is one of the educational start-up industries currently developing an Android-based system. System errors could appear in various both the features and administrative processes. The system repair priority could be given to the easiest system error first without taking into account the risk that would arise. The company needed to change its risk management by providing the priority of system repair and considering the effects and frequency of the occurrences. This research aims to help Aku Pintar Indonesia enterprise in choosing the priority of system error repair in order to improve their services to their users. This research used FMEA which allows the risk level of each error modes being assessed. System errors and its frequency were identified by web-based Google Play Console. The disadvantage level appeared from each errors determined by utilizing expert judgment in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The risk level of each system errors determined by the frequency of each and the level of the disadvantages, then measure the value of the Risk Priority Number by multiplying the results of severity and occurrence so that the risk value is obtained. The next process of risk mapping based on the risk level uses a modification of the risk mapping table to obtain the error rate for making priority improvements. This research produced a complete document that contains the information needed to plan and prevent repetitive errors, and can reduce the initial system error rate by 4% to 2.4% according to reports from the Google Play Console syste
