Political Campaign Strategies in the Era of COVID-19 Pandemic: Candidate Experiences in the 2020 Surabaya City Regional Election
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and being promoted only by minor political parties, it didn’t impede the mayoral pairing candidate Eri Cahyadi-Armuji from winning the 2020 Surabaya mayoral election. Hence, the purpose of this study is to explain the political campaign strategy carried out by Eri Cahyadi-Armuji using the perspective of the five functional stages of development theory. This study applied a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings of this study showed that Eri Cahyadi-Armuji successfully implemented the five stages of political campaign, thus he could win the election. However, there was an interesting note at the identification stage where Eri Cahyadi-Armuji preferred to use the identity of a figure rather than slogans. This fact deviated from the theory, yet it was successfully implemented as a surefire strategy to attract voters. Thus, this notable finding may give a contribution in developing the theory of political campaign strategy
Decoding the Magic Formula: Navigating the Complex World of Stock Trading
Stock trading is complicated and risky. Investors' conditions, aspirations, and viewpoints shape their journeys. This article examines stock trading and investing, focusing on Joel Greenblatt's "The Little Book That Beats the Market" and "Magic Formula" investment technique. Greenblatt's book argues that stock trading is better than saving. The "Magic Formula" focuses on return on capital and earnings yield and is simple but effective. The Magic Formula helps investors find cheap, high-quality firms by evaluating them by these two ratios. The Magic Formula, like every investment approach, has limitations. Its success depends on the investor's goals, risk tolerance, and situation. The Magic Formula works for some investors but not others. This emphasizes the need of personalizing one's financial approach and knowing that one size does not fit all. Greenblatt also stresses the significance of knowing and believing in the Magic Formula, even when it seems to be failing. He believes that effective investing requires both picking the correct companies and sticking to your strategy, even when it's hard. This emphasizes the significance of patience and discipline in investing, which are often neglected but essential for long-term success. The Magic Formula is one of several investment techniques and theories, each with its own assumptions, methods, and risk profiles. From buy-and-hold to complicated quantitative models, these methods cover it all. Investors' goals, risk tolerance, and circumstances should determine their strategy. In conclusion, stock trading demands cautious navigation and intelligent decision-making. Joel Greenblatt's Magic Formula helps guide investors. Its effectiveness depends on the investor and is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Thus, each individual must establish their own stock trading success route with the correct knowledge, method, and mindset

Vertical Conflict on Regional Autonomy between the Regent of the Meranti Islands and the Governor of Riau and the Ministry of Finance
In the process of implementing regional autonomy, conflict is inevitable. Internal disputes between autonomous areas, vertical conflicts between autonomous regions, and horizontal conflicts between autonomous regions are the three categories of conflicts involving regional autonomy. This study examines uncommon vertical disputes in autonomous territories, namely the dispute between the Ministry of Finance, the Governor of Riau, and the Regent of the Meranti Islands. The purpose of this study is to elucidate the mechanisms behind conflict, including its origins and ways to resolve it. The study's findings suggest that the very little fiscal support given to the Meranti Islands Regency Government is what triggers the conflict process, which starts with interaction. Special Financial Assistance (BKK) is budget support from the provincial government of Riau, whereas Profit Sharing Funds (DBH) are budget support from the federal government. Limited resources, such as a tiny APBD, regional poverty, and a large number of unemployed people who migrate to neighboring countries as migrant laborers are the root causes of this conflict. The divergent objectives of the Ministry of Finance, the Governor of Riau, and the Regent of the Meranti Islands constitute the second cause of conflict. The Governor believes that funds will be distributed based on statistics and indicators, the Regent wants to deliver as much funding as possible to the regions, and the Ministry of Finance considers financial equality across the area. The third source of conflict is miscommunication, which includes spreading the word through the media and making diabolical remarks in public forums directed at the Ministry of Finance. The personality of the Meranti Islands Regent, who exudes a spectacular and haughty demeanor while leading the government, is the fourth point of contention. The final methods of resolving conflicts are negotiation and mediation

ARMY felt a lot of blasphemy from BTS haters because they considered cheating in BTS' winning results. The worsening condition of the ARMY's mental health led one ARMY to form a social movement organization with a focus on improving mental health, namely the ARMY Help Center. With the same identity, a collective identity is formed to voice the importance of mental health. Their agenda has helped ARMY and people in need, such as holding mental health help services, social media campaigns, conducting webinars, discussions, and conferences on mental health, and writing and publishing books related to mental health. This research is descriptive and qualitative in nature. For data collection techniques using interview methods and data through written sources, for example, notes, transcripts, books, newspapers, reports, and others. The results of the study show that the agenda that the ARMY Help Center is carrying out can also indirectly break the bad stigma that a K-pop fan is not all fanatical and exaggerated. As a non-state actor, you can create a positive social movement and can help many people who need mental health assistance

This research aims to analyze community empowerment through the Village-Owned Enterprise "Bareng Lestari" in Bareng Village, Sawahan Subdistrict, Nganjuk Regency. The type of this research is qualitative-descriptive research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory applied in this study is the 5P community empowerment approach, namely enabling, strengthening, protecting, supporting, and maintaining. The results of this research indicate that the community becomes empowered after the establishment of the village-owned enterprise (BUMDES) "Bareng Lestari", yet, this has not been achieved maximally. Out of the 5 indicators, 3 of them have been successfully achieved, including Strengthening, carried out by amplifying the BUMDES internally and externally by providing socialization and counseling for the community in Bareng Village; Supporting, can be seen from the existence of strong partnership networks, marketing of local products and processed products, as well as subsidized fertilizers;and Maintaining, carried out in all aspects including physical maintenance and the maintenance carried out in all fields starting from quality, existence, business units and programs, as well as partnership networks, thus the empowerment can be sustainable. Meanwhile, the other 2 indicators that have not been achieved maximally are including Enabling, where the BUMDES "Bareng Lestari" has not been able to create good possibilities or atmospheres that allow the community to develop optimally, because in fact, there are still many barriers between communities which make it difficult for the weak communities to develop; and Protecting, which is not optimal because there are still unachieved work programs due to the lack of participation from the community
