LEGAL PERSPECTIVE: MSMEs AS A SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR HALAL INDUSTRY IN FULFILLING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN INDONESIA
According to the perspective of Islamic economic law, the realization of SDGs in Indonesia can be achieved through the halal industry in the form of halal MSMEs which may affect the achievement of SDGs, especially the first, second and third goals, namely, eliminating poverty which can be realized through halal SMEs, reducing hunger with halal products, and good health and welfare based on halal and tayyib principles that is also profit oriented and community oriented which can reach more people. This article discusses the legal perspective of micro and small enterprises (MSMEs) as a supporting system for the halal industry in fulfilling sustainable development goals in Indonesia.This study is a normative legal study, that is legal research conducted by examining secondary legal materials or library materials.Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as a support system for the halal industry in fulfilling sustainable development goals in Indonesia are clearly very important. One of the achievements in the SDGs in the economic sector is welfare and equity. The success of the equitable distribution of certified MSE products in Indonesia will help improve the visibility of halal products, making it easier for consumers to find. This will have an impact on the Indonesian economy, especially in influencing GDP growth from the halal product consumption sector. MSMEs can help realize the SDGs goals. Collaboration between MSMEs and various institutions in the halal industry is very important for the development of MSMEs in Indonesia. Perspektif hukum ekonomi Islam berpendapat bahwa industri halal, yang terdiri dari UMKM halal, dapat membantu mencapai SDGs di Indonesia, terutama tujuan kesatu, kedua, dan ketiga, yaitu menghapus kemiskinan yang dapat dicapai melalui UMKM halal, mengurangi kelaparan dengan produk halal, dan memberikan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan yang baik dan thoyyib yang berbasis halal dan thoyyib. Selain itu, industri halal harus berorientasi pada keuntungan dan berorientasi sosial sehingga dapat menghasilkan industri yang menguntungkan Artikel ini akan membahas bagaimana hukum usaha mikro dan kecil (UMK) berfungsi sebagai sistem yang mendukung industri halal dalam mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Indonesia.Penelitian hukum normatif, yang meneliti bahan hukum sekunder atau pustaka, adalah jenis penelitian yang digunakan. Usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) adalah sistem pendukung industri halal dalam pemenuhan sustainable development goals di Indonesia yang sangat krusial. Kesejahteraan dan pemerataan kesejahteraan adalah salah satu tujuan dari SDGs. Berhasilnya sertifikasi produk UMK secara merata di Indonesia akan membantu memeratakan produk halal, membuatnya lebih mudah diakses oleh pelanggan. Hal ini akan berdampak pada ekonomi Indonesia terutama dalam hal jumlah uang yang dihasilkan oleh industri yang memasarkan produk halal. Tujuan SDG dapat diwujudkan oleh UMKM. Untuk mengembangkan UMKM di Indonesia, kolaborasi antar kelembagaan dalam industri halal sangat penting
E-GOVERNMENT IN TAX SERVICES: THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ELECTRONIC FILING SYSTEM
This research aims to define and elaborate on the effectiveness of e-government in the Electronic Filing System (E-Filing) at the Tax Service Office (KPP) Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan, Pekanbaru City. The research method utilizes a qualitative approach, and descriptive analysis to elaborate on issues using the theory of e-government effectiveness according to Sigwejo & Pather (2016). This study found that the implementation of E-Government in the form of the Electronic Filing System (E-Filing System) at the Tax Service Office (KPP) Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan has not been effectively and maximally executed. This is due to many taxpayers experiencing difficulties in using the system because of inadequate socialization and training, as well as suboptimal technological facilities. Although public interest in using e-government services is quite high, infrastructure limitations and technical support hinder its usage, resulting in low public satisfaction with this service. To enhance effectiveness, improvements in facilities, socialization, training, and technological infrastructure are required to fulfill public expectations and satisfaction. Based on the analysis conducted, to enhance the effectiveness of the E-Filing System at KPP Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan, it is recommended that socialization and training programs for taxpayers be intensified and sustained, technological infrastructure be improved and enhanced, responsive technical assistance services be provided, periodic system evaluation and improvement be conducted, and feedback from taxpayers be collected and analyzed for further enhancement. The study implies that for the E-Filing System at KPP Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan to be more effective, several key areas need attention and improvement
WORK STRESS AND WORK PRODUCTIVITY WITH SELF ADJUSTMENT OF EMPLOYEES IN SOCIAL INSTITUTES DEVELOPMENT WORKS OF HARAPAN JAYA IN BALARAJA
Adjustment during work requires extra precision. With the process of self-adjustment, work productivity can be overcome so that it does not have an impact on pressure at work. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between work stress and work productivity with adjustment to employees at the Bina Karya Harapan Jaya Social Institution in Balaraja. The data collection method in this study used a quantitative method using a scale which included the independent variable, namely work stress and the dependent variable in this study, namely self-adjustment. The respondents used in this study were 31 PJLP employees of the Bina Karya Harapan Jaya Social Institution in Balaraja. Sampling in the research used is saturated sampling. Measuring tool used is the scale of work stress, work productivity, adjustments were analyzed using the SPSS application version 24.0 for Windows. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between work stress and self-adjustment, obtaining a correlation rx1y = -0.175 P = 0.347; P < 0.05 ; Ho accepted. Then between work productivity and self-adjustment obtained a correlation of rx2y = 0.206 P = 0.267; P < 0.05 ; Ho accepted. From the results of this study it can be concluded that overall work stress and work productivity with self-adjustment of employees are in the high category. BECOMING MAJIKAN IN OUR OWN FARM: A STUDY ON WOMEN AND AGROFORESTRY IN CIANJUR, WEST JAVA
This study examines the relation between women and agroforestry in Cijedil and Wangunjaya Villages, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency, West Java. The study of the dynamics of agroforestry management, which is an agricultural practice carried out on forest land or land that resembles a forest, is carried out using an ecofeminist perspective. The study was conducted in two villages in Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia. These two villages are representatives of agroforestry land variations, which consist of forest, agroforestry, and agricultural land. This land type represents the level of human intervention in forest land management. The research was conducted using quantitative and qualitative research methods, using interviews and observation as key data collection instruments. The results of the study found that the division of labor based on gender in agroforestry practices has changed. Significant changes were also found in the relations between women and agroforestry, as well as gender relations in the decision-making process related to agroforestry in farmer households. From an eco-feminist perspective, this study shows that the dynamics of women in managing agroforestry not only increases the role of women, but also strengthens the position of women as employers in their own agroferestry land
PRODUCTS AND PRICE POLICY ON CONSUMER DECISIONS TO STAY AT FAVE HOTEL BANDUNG
Tourism plays an important role in the Indonesian economy. It provides a country’s foreign exchange, as well as financial support for building the economy. Additionally, tourism encourages business growth and employment by providing labor needs. The increased number of visitors to Indonesia has spurred significant growth in the country’s tourism industry. This can be seen from the increase of hotels, restaurants, transportation and other services that focus on tourism. Additionally, this can be seen from the increasing number of visitors in Indonesia. This research looks at how Product and Price Policy influences customers’ choices. It does this by gathering data using a SEM-PLS approach and processing 150 respondents from the Fave Hotel Bandung. The study finds that customers’ choices in favor of a particular hotel or the hotel’s price policy directly influence their decisions
THE INFLUENCE OF MARKETING COMMUNICATION STRATEGY AND DISTINCTIVE DESTINATION ON DESTINATION BRAND EQUITY (STUDY ON CILETUH GEOPARK, SUKABUMI)
This study aims to examine the effect of marketing communication strategy and distinctive destination on destination brand equity. The research was conducted at Ciletuh Geopark Sukabumi one of the leading tourist destinations, but its contribution to the regional economy is still not high. This research uses a quantitative research approach. The research was carried out on a cross-sectional time horizon, namely in 2023. The research was carried out on the Ciletuh Geopark analysis unit with an observation unit, namely Ciletuh Geopark visitors, totaling 150 respondents, and processed with structural equation modeling (SEM). Data collection techniques were carried out to respondents through a questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. The results of the hypothesis testing show that the marketing communication strategy and distinctive destinations have proven to have a significant effect on destination brand equity. These findings provide managerial implications for the managers of the Ciletuh Geopark to pay more attention to the development of distinctive destinations, especially in terms of culinary development by stimulating the creation of distinctive food and beverage products that characterize the uniqueness of the Ciletuh Geopark. Destination managers also need to pay more attention to the attractiveness of online content and social communication on websites, pay attention to and follow up on online reviews from visitors, and develop content on Facebook and YouTube channels that are more attractive and unique which can encourage greater involvement from visitors
Poverty Analysis of Cassava Farmers in Wonogiri Regency, Indonesia
Poverty is a central issue in development programs in Indonesia. Most people still depend on agriculture for their livelihoods with relatively low productivity and business income, so poverty are common in rural areas. Most of the Wonogiri residents work in agriculture, where one of the superior products is cassava, the largest producer in Central Java. Poverty reduction in agriculture is a critical factor in reducing poverty in Indonesia. This study examined the poverty status and determinants affecting the poverty status of cassava farmers in Wonogiri Regency, Indonesia. Purposive sampling techniques were used in 120 cassava farmers in Wonogiri Regency. Primary data were obtained with the aid of well-structured questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed using Foster-Greer Thorbecke (FGT) index and logistic regression (logit). The result of Foster Greer-Thorbecke's (FGT) analysis showed that headcount index (P0) was 0,3417, poverty gap index (P1) was 0,2092, poverty severity index (P2) was 0,1280. The logistic regression (logit) showed that determinants of the poverty status of cassava farmers were education, land area, household size, and farming experience. There needs to be an increase in education, land area, farming experience, and reduce the number of family dependents with family planning government programs
DETERMINATION OF INTERESTS IN BUYING SAMSUNG BRAND SMARTPHONE IN ONLINE LEARNING IN THE ERA OF COVID-19
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the order of all activities of human life, including in the field of education. The use of information system technology is very helpful in online learning, from elementary school to college level. Smartphones are intelligent communication tools that have many features to support online learning. The high use of smartphones has an impact on customer buying interest, especially since the Covid 19 pandemic. This study tries to analyze the interest in buying Samsung brand smartphones in online learning. The sample of this research is 98 students of Putra Indonesia University YPTK Padang. This research model is a structural equation modelling (SEM) model with SmartPLS 3 analysis tool. The results show that buying interest in Samsung brand smartphones is influenced by celebrity endorsers and brand image factors. The research findings state that the contribution of figures in the form of celebrities and brand image is a determining factor in buying Samsung brand smartphones. While the mediating effect of brand image cannot strengthen the influence of celebrity endorsers on the purchase intention of Samsung brand smartphones. This means that consumer buying interest in Samsung brand smartphones does not always pay attention to the brand image, but sometimes it is more to the celebrity endorser factor. This finding recommends that companies can further maintain and strengthen the celebrity endorser factor and be able to improve the quality of their product brand image so that consumer buying interest becomes higher in marketing their products
SIX PILLARS OF GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY IN INDONESIA: A SYSTEMIC LITERATURE REVIEW
Indonesia’s national food security is still in an unstable condition. Indonesia is currently a food-importing country. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the six pillars of global food security in Indonesia. To achieve the objectives of this study, a systematic literature review method was used. The data used were 254 scientific articles sourced from the Scopus database. To review the articles, the Vosviewer application was used. The results of the study reveal that food availability, food access, food utilization, food stability, food agency, and food sustainability are the six main pillars that must exist in every country to support their food security. This research contributes to two main things. First, the description of the six pillars of food security contributes to the development of the roadmap of Food Security. Second, the description of the six pillars of food security acts as the direction of Indonesia’s food policy. However, in this study, the articles used were only sourced from the Scopus and Mendeley databases, so the findings of this study have not comprehensively described the issue of the six pillars of global food security in Indonesia. Future research needs to use scientific articles sourced from other reputable international databases, such as the Web of Science and Pilaronds Scholars
POLICY IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EQUALIZATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS INTO FUNCTIONAL POSITIONS
The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform has mandated all Ministries or Agencies to carry out independent position mapping assessments. In the Praja Extracurricular Program at the IPDN Jatinangor Campus, there are 2 (two) positions that have not received socialization in filling out the DUPAK. Time limitations in determining equivalent positions. Some employees resulting from equalization of positions experience difficulties in carrying out their main duties and functions. Have not paid attention to the match between the position name and the job description of a position at the meeting to determine the distribution of positions. Distribution of positions through the factors that influence it. This type of qualitative descriptive research. through factors that influence it in the Praja Extracurricular Section has been carried out quite well in the aspects of resources and dispositions, but there are still obstacles in the aspects of communication and bureaucratic structure
