The Impact of Economic Factors on Changing Carbon Emission Landscape in ASEAN With ARDL Approach

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing carbon emissions in the member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The data used in this study covers the period from 1990 to 2021, utilizing the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) analysis method. All independent variables show a significant impact on carbon emissions in both the short and long term. This research provides evidence that factors such as urbanization, foreign direct investment, population, and economic growth significantly contribute to the increase in carbon emissions in ASEAN countries. The findings also validate the Environmental Kuznets Curve hypothesis for carbon emissions in ASEAN countries. In other words, economic growth leads to a reduction in carbon emissions. The ASEAN region has experienced substantial economic growth over the past few decades. However, carbon dioxide (CO2) remains a socio-economic issue in the ASEAN region. The results of this study can be highly beneficial for policymakers in the region regarding sustainability and economic development

This study identifies the influence of servant leadership on teacher creativity. We considered occupational commitment and work engagement as sequential mediators in the relationship between servant leadership and teacher creativity. This current study uses surveys by distributing questionnaires to teachers at the "X" education foundation in one of the cities in East Java. Hypothesis testing uses partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Our study shows that servant leadership does not directly enhance teacher creativity but rather through occupational commitment and work engagement. This finding contributed to the understanding that servant leadership influences teacher creativity through the sequential mediation of occupational commitment and work engagement. As an implication, the "X" educational foundation needs to choose principals who are able to act as servant leaders. In order to effectively increase teacher creativity, servant leaders must provide support and opportunities for teachers that will boost their commitment to their work. Teachers with high occupational commitment will be more engaged with their work, allowing them to become more creative. In addition, various employee management activities, such as training, recognition, and selecting effective school principals, are needed to increase teachers' commitment, engagement, and creativity

Central Statistics Agency (2020) shows data that the Zoomers generation is recorded as the generation that controls the next industry as active workers. The research method uses quantitative methods. This study uses the Smart-PLS 3.0 statistical tool with a sample of employees belonging to the Zoomers generation. Of the five hypotheses, three hypotheses were accepted, and two were rejected. The findings of this study can be an insight for businesspeople on whether the WFH pattern is still needed in increasing employees' productivity and performance

The results show the average Global Innovation Index (GII) of Indonesia and export countries, the average Logistics Performance Index (LPI) of Indonesia and export destination countries, the labor force with intermediate education, labor force with basic education. Indonesia's GDP has a positive and significant effect on the diversification of manufacturing industry commodity exports in Indonesia across all technological intensities. Still, the importers' GDP and exchange rates positively influence the spread of diversification exports of manufactured industrial commodities in Indonesia, but some models show no significant relationship

This research was conducted in 2022 to analyze the human development index, labor force participation rate, poverty, CO2 emissions, and the number of MSMEs on the economic growth of districts/cities in West Java province in 2017-2021. The choice of a 5-year timeframe is because, during this period, the districts/cities of West Java province have increased economic growth every year except for 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Secondary data is an annual report, so researchers do not include 2022 because it has not accumulated a one-year period. The economy of districts/cities in West Java Province is influenced by positive factors such as the Human Development Index, CO2 emissions, and an increasing number of MSMEs. However, the increase in economic growth is inseparable from the problems of increasing the poor population and the unequal labor force in each region. The panel data regression analysis method is used to align the hypothesis with the theory. Developing research that has existed before with differences in location selection and combining variables from various aspects so that differences in results become updates to the factors that influence economic growth in this study
