    Technology has created numerous benefits in various aspects of life, including education. Teachers and students should integrate technology into their learning plans to ensure effective teaching and learning. The use of technology in education can inspire students to pursue new interests and motivate them to engage in learning activities that enhance their perspectives. The role of an instructor in a student's education is crucial. Self-directed learning (SDL) is an instructional process that requires students to identify their own learning needs, provide resources, and practice learning techniques. By using the right methods and situations in teaching, students can develop their own skills and enhance their learning experience. This study aims to improve the effectiveness of e-module practical on the otomotif kelistrikan in the Mesin Technical Education program.The study on the development of an e-module for otomological pedagogy found that the validity of the e-module met good results with validity scores of 84.4% (very feasible) for material, 85% (very feasible) for media, 75% (feasible) for language, and 83,3% very (feasible) for data from student responses. Critics and respondents also deemed that improvements are needed for the e-module. The results were based on feedback from the committee of otomologists who provided some suggestions about the electronic pedagogical pedagogy module in terms of quality and safety, indicating that improvements are still needed for this module.     Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui alat pendukung solar tracker single axis dalam menghasilkan output tegangan listrik, arus listrik, daya listrik, dan intensitas cahaya yang didapat oleh panel suryaMetode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yakni menjelaskan hasil dari eksperimen yang telah dilakukan dengan mengamati secara langsung hasil dari pengukuran yang dihasilkan oleh solar tracker single axis dan statis, hasil dari eksperimen akan dijelaskan secara deskriptif berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa daya tertinggi yang dihasilkan oleh solar tracker single axis sebesar 24,37 Watt dengan intensitas cahaya 79.300 Lux dan perolehan daya tertinggi yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya statis sebesar 16,54 Watt dengan intensitas cahaya 72.400 Lux. Solar tracker single axis menghasilkan daya lebih besar dan dan efektif dibandingkan dengan menggunakan panel surya statis, hal ini dikarenakan solar tracker single axis dapat mengikuti arah cahaya matahari

    The aims of this study are : (1) To determine the effect of using racing coil on the power generated of 4 step motorcycle 125 cc, (2) To determine the effect of using racing coil on the torque generated of 4 step motorcycle 125 cc. The research method used is experimental. The data of this research was obtained by taking measurements on sample of Honda Blade 125 FI 2014 motorcycle. The independent variables were standard ignition coil and racing ignition coil. The variables were maximum shaft power dan maximum shaft torque measured using a dynamometer. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques by describing in the form of graphs and tables. The result of the study are : (1) The use of racing ignition coil has a higher effect on the power produced. (2) The use of racing ignition coil has a lower effect on the torque produced

    Mechanical Engineering Education study program is a study program that produces professional staff in the field of teaching and engineering who have competence in carrying out teaching processes, workshops, manufacturing processes, manufacturing drawing designs, etc. One of the courses in PTM is Computer Aided Design 1. This course is a compulsory subject that must be taken by PTM students in semester 4. The problem that occurs in this research is the implementation of learning in Computer Aided Design 1 courses in study programs The Mechanical Engineering Education of the Sebelas Maret University FKIP has not been maximized, so it is not known the degree of suitability between the implementation of the learning program and the semester learning design and the resulting output. Therefore, appropriate learning tools are needed in the learning process for CAD 2 courses. Testing the feasibility of these learning tools involves 3 parties, namely material experts, media experts, and users. From the assessment of material experts, it was obtained that the percentage of eligibility averaged 81,75% and was included in the "very feasible" category. From the assessment of media experts, it was obtained that the average percentage of eligibility was 90,55% and was included in the "very feasible" category. The trial process was attended by PTM students who were taking CAD 2 courses. From the user response data of 70 respondents, it was obtained that the average eligibility percentage was 91,24% and was included in the "very feasible" category. The conclusion is that the results of the reconstruction of the Computer Aided Design 1 course are very feasible and suitable for use in the learning process

    This Community service program aims to apply a crossflow water turbine in Daleman Village, Tulung Subdistrict, Klaten Regency. This program, conducted by students from the Mechanical Engineering Education Departments of Sebelas Maret University, primarily seeks to harness the renewable energy potential in the area and raise community awareness. The activities included field surveys, system design, turbine installation, and training for villagers on operation and maintenance. The results show that the program increased the community's awareness and understanding of renewable energy and strengthened their capacity to manage and maintain the implemented technology. The collaboration between students, faculty, and the community throughout the program also fostered positive and sustainable relationships. Overall, this community service initiative significantly contributed to achieving energy self-sufficiency and improving the quality of life for the residents of Daleman Village

    This study evaluates the effectiveness of the block system learning in the productive subject of Machining Engineering at SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research findings indicate that the implementation of the block system enhances student engagement, deepens theoretical understanding, and improves practical skills. Interview analyses and case studies highlight a shift from a teacher-centered to a more participatory learning approach. Positive implications of constructivist and competency-based learning are evident in the enhanced quality of learning outcomes. The conclusion emphasizes the effectiveness of the block system learning as a relevant vocational education model aligned with industry needs. Recommendations include the development of teaching methods, increased industry involvement, and further research. Gratitude is extended to SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta, educators, students, and supporters who contributed to this research

    PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN VARIASI BERAT ROLLER TERHADAP PERFORMA SEPEDA MOTOR MATIC HONDA STLYO 160

    This study aims to analyze the effect of roller weight variations on the performance of the Honda Stylo 160 automatic motorcycle in 2024. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with roller weight variations of 13, 15, 17, 19, and 20 grams. Tests were carried out using a dynamometer to measure torque and power. The results showed that the roller weight variation had a significant effect on the torque and power produced. The roller weighing 13 grams produced the highest torque of 23.55 N.m and power of 13.6 HP, while the heaviest roller of 20 grams produced the highest average power of 13.06 HP. The results of this study can be concluded that the use of lighter weight rollers tends to increase torque, while heavier weight rollers tend to increase the power generated. Although there is a general increase in power with an increase in roller weight, variations in the measurement results indicate that other factors such as engine efficiency also play an important role in motorcycle performance

    This research aims to carry out an in-depth analysis regarding risks and work safety control efforts at the SMKS Pancasila Surakarta Machining Workshop, by applying the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. In the direct observation process, a number of potential risks have been identified, including aspects of lighting that are less than optimal, equipment storage management that is not yet fully efficient, conditions of supporting facilities that need to be improved, and a lack of awareness regarding Occupational Safety and Health (K3). This risk analysis then paves the way for the development of control measures that focus on improving lighting, better equipment storage arrangements, strategic placement of supporting facilities, installation of stabilizers on machines, and expanding K3 awareness through industrial work culture. It is hoped that these recommendations can make a significant contribution in creating a learning environment that is not only safe and comfortable, but also more productive for students and teaching staff in vocational school machining workshops. Thus, this research not only illustrates an in-depth understanding of risks in SMK machining workshops, but also offers concrete solutions to improve overall work safety conditions

    Solar water heater is a device that uses solar collectors to absorb solar radiation and convert it into heat energy to heat water. The type of solar collector and the water flow rate used affect the thermal efficiency of the solar water heater. This research uses a solar water heater with a serpentine configuration of copper pipe material and applies a water flow rate of 1 lpm. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of water flow rate on the thermal efficiency produced by solar water heater with serpentine configuration. The type of research is quantitative research, with experimental methods. This research was conducted at Campus V, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta for 3 days starting at 09.00 to 15.00 WIB. The test results of the serpentine solar water heater with a water flow rate of 1 lpm produced the highest temperature reaching 43.42 ͦC and had a thermal efficiency of 46.14%

    This study with stationary test aims to (1) To investigate the effect of using step up voltage on Honda Beat motorcycles on fuel consumption with stationary test. (2) To investigate the variation of the best voltage from the use of step up voltage on the fuel consumption of Honda Beat 2013 motorcycles with stationary test. (3) To investigate the effect of the use of a mixture of bioethanol and pertalite fuels on the fuel consumption of Honda Beat motorcycles with stationary test. (4) To investigate the variation of the best concentration of mixing bioethanol in pertalite on the fuel consumption of a Honda Beat 2013 motorcycle with stationary test. (5) To investigate the best configuration of a mixture of bioethanol and the use of step up voltage on the fuel consumption of a Honda Beat motorcycle with stationary test. Data collection techniques are needed to obtain results. valid data from the tests that have been carried out. Experimental techniques were used to collect data from each of the variables studied. So that the determination of variables is very necessary by carrying out clear research and testing procedures in order to facilitate the process of collecting data from the results of these experiments. The test results on the stationary test, namely the use of step up voltage, there is an effect on fuel consumption, the best is set at voltage of 14,3 V at 3.65 ml/min. The use of variations in the concentration of bioethanol in pertalite has an effect on fuel consumption with the best results using a 20% bioethanol concentration of 4.56 ml/minute. The best configuration was obtained when the step up voltage was set at 14.1 V and the 25% bioethanol concentration was 4.01 ml/min. more perfect due to a decrease in the level of fuel consumption in the tested vehicle
