An Attempt to Build up a Strong Italian National Consciousness at the Outset of the 20th Century : A Study of Il giornalino della domenica and Luigi Bertelli
Get PDFapplication/pdfThis article focuses on Luigi Bertelli (alias Vamba) and the initial stage of Il giornalino della domenica (1906-1927), specifically, between June 1906 and December 1907. That means the period of Giolitti, or in the midst of the “giolittismo”. Both Vamba and Il giornalino della domenica are worthy of attention for analyzing the background of the nationalism in Italy. Deeply influenced by the Risorgimento, as well as Garibaldi and Mazzini, the “latecomer” Vamba aimed to build a unified community of Italian children and to form a firm national identity in the would-be Italian nation.
Because he assumed readers of the paper as children or younger people, Vamba was deeply aware of its educational effects. But far from the traditional teachers’ way of looking down children, Vamba did take children as company or friends. Il giornalino della domenica is also distinguished by its highly artistic mind, such as various novels, poems, correspondence, short stories, allegories, photos, and unique and wonderful illustrations. Instead of making children bored, Vamba tried to encourage them to be curious and intelligent. Il giornalino della domenica was published to attain these wide-ranged purposes.
Probing into Vamba’s articles of Il giornalino della domenica, we can draw a conclusion that Vamba emphasized two basic values. One is peculiar to Italy and the other is quite universal : the former is the formation of national identity or national consciousness as Italian, and the latter is the good faith (“bontà” in Italian) and consideration for others. It can be said that both of them are integral to each other, although there existed fundamental contradiction between the two values. With that ambivalence, these values would nurture the nationalism which was at that time still in embryo.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFapplication/pdf現在の日本では、離婚件数が高い水準で推移しており、親の離婚を経験する子どもの数も多くなっている。本研究の目的は、親の離婚を経験した子どもが、親の離婚経験から立ち直るまでのプロセスを明らかにすることであった。東京都内の大学生10名を対象にインタビュー調査を行い、M-GTAを援用して、親の離婚経験からの立ち直りに関するプロセスモデルを構成した。親の離婚を経験した子どもは、親が離婚したことに対する「否認」からはじまり、「悲しみ」や「怒り」を経て「抑うつ」状態に陥る。しかし、他者の存在に支えられ、離婚経験を開示することにより、「安堵」、「受容」を経て、未来に向けて「希望」を抱くことができるようになることが明らかになった。departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFapplication/pdf本論文は国内の移民研究において第二世代に関する調査がまだ稀少であることを背景に、フィリピン系第二世代のエスニック・アイデンティティ形成と学業達成が分岐する過程を明らかにする。26名を対象とした半構造化インタビューからは、エスニック・アイデンティティに関して①ホスト国志向型（メリトクラシー型と反/非社会型に分岐）、②出身国志向型、③ハイブリッド型という分岐パターンを抽出した。さらに反/非社会型と出身国志向型が低い学業達成に留まる一方、メリトクラシー型とハイブリッド型は高い学業達成を果たしていた。この分岐の背景にはエスニック・ネットワークと親の資本や家族構造、教育戦略の違いが見出せた。4パターンの中でハイブリッド型の若者が親子関係や学業達成の面で最も良好な状態にあり、ホスト国と出身国をまたいで多様なアクターとネットワークを築くことの重要性が示唆される。departmental bulletin pape
Characteristics and Categorizing of Domestic Major Convenience Store Brands by Analyzing Contents in Social Media
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe purpose of this paper is to show some characteristics and categorizing about domestic major convenience store brands by analyzing contents in social media which are a kind of big data in the Internet. This paper acquired contents in social media by using some free analysis tools mainly. This paper also carried out various text mining methods for analyzing these contents in social media by using some free analysis tools. It is another purpose of this paper to inspect whether we can execute various text mining methods to big data in the Internet by using free analysis tools. Specifically, at first this paper executed the frequency analysis to the morphemes included in contents in social media and made word clouds from the result of the frequency analysis. Then, this paper made a term-document matrix and applied correspondence analysis to the term-document matrix. Furthermore, this paper analyzed N-gram from that data and made N-gram graphs. From those results, this paper shows some characteristics and categorizing of each convenience store brands.departmental bulletin pape
