The Development of Kanamori Toshirou's Educational Thought : Focusing on the Activities in 1970's
Get PDFapplication/pdf石川県内で2006 年度までの38 年間小学校教員を務めた金森俊朗は、「いのちの教育」実践者として世界的に知られている。しかし、金森は最初から「いのちの教育」を標榜していたわけではない。本稿では、特に教員生活の赴任2 校目までの1970 年代の教育実践を分析し、金森がどのような教育実践と思想を形成していたのか、明らかにした。20代の教育実践には、その後の教育実践で終生大事にしてきた教育思想が既にいくつも含まれていた。
「畑作り」では、実際に栽培するという身体的働きかけと同時に、「地域に根ざす教育」として、子どもたちが農家の苦労や喜びなどにも思いを馳せるようになり、また生産活動を通じて、生命の成長を喜び収穫を楽しむという感受性をも育てることに成功した。この他の実践からも、他人事（傍観者）ではなく自分事として、当事者性を養う働きかけが見られた。また、早い段階から、教科を超えた総合的合科的な取り組みを金森は独自に展開していた。その根底には、生活を通じて全人格的な陶冶を目指すという思想も一貫していた。departmental bulletin pape
