KOORDINASI PENGAWAS DAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI PENDIDIKAN PADA SD NEGERI LAMPEUNEURUT KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR
Abstract: A good quality of education could be achieved through various factors and one of them is to create a good coordination and mutual understanding between the school-supervisor and principal in implementing the supervision of education. Such condition would lead to a more conducive teaching process, building a mutual understanding, meaningful and harmony between the two parties. The objective of this study is to know the coordination between school supervisors and principals in: (1) planning, (2) implementing, (3) carrying out the follow-up programs related to the supervision of education. The approach applied in this study was qualitative and descriptive methodologies. Data were collected and obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. School-supervisor and principal of an elementary school (referred as SD Negeri in bahasa) in the Lampeuneurut area were applied as subjects. Results showed that: (1) a good coordination existed between the school-supervisor and principals by the planning of supervision program in education, including by the planning of various capacity building programs aiming to strengthen the teachers capacity and professionalism. However, supervision programs have not yet been agreed with the vision, mission, and objectives of the involved school, (2) a diverse techniques in supervision program between the supervisor and principal were applied by the implementation, e.g. observation, personal and formal meetings. However, these were acknowledged as insufficient and ineffective, especially the time was presumed as the most limiting factor by the guidance and supervision among teachers, (3) the follow-up programs were planned and carried out in two ways: (i) direct feedback in a formal meeting involving individual teacher and supervisor, or (ii) indirect ways e.g. general meeting with the whole school staff. However, the supervision results had not yet been programmed in systematically and details. Thus, there had been no formal documentation regarding the follow-up programs based on the previous supervision.Keywords: Coordination, Supervisor and Educational SupervisionAbstrak: Pendidikan bermutu tercipta apabila koordinasi pengawas dan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi pendidikan dilakukan secara harmonis, maka akan tercipta suasana proses belajar mengajar yang bermakna dan menyenangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui koordinasi pengawas dan kepala sekolah dalam: (1) Menyusun program supervisi pendidikan; (2) Implementasi program supervisi pendidikan dan (3) Melaksanakan tindak lanjut hasil supervisi pendidikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pedoman wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah pengawas dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengawas dan kepala SD Negeri Lampeuneurut telah menunjukkan koordinasi yang baik dalam menyusun program supervisi pendidikan, program supervisi pendidikan berisi kegiatan peningkatkan kompetensi profesionalisme guru, namun program supervisi masih kurang mengacu pada visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah binaan. (2) Koordinasi pengawas dan kepala sekolah dalam implementasi supervisi dilakukan sesuai dengan program supervisi melalui teknik supervisi yaitu: observasi, pertemuan pribadi dan rapat, akan tetapi waktu yang tersedia dalam pembinaan dan bimbingan guru masih belum merata serta efektif; (3) Koordinasi pengawas dan kepala sekolah dalam tindak lanjut hasil implementasi supervisi pendidikan dilakukan dengan cara langsung memberikan umpan balik melalui pertemuan individu guru yang disupervisi dan secara tidak langsung melaui rapat dengan staf sekolah, namun demikian hasil supervisi tidak terprogram dan terperinci. Dokumentasi hasil laporan tindak lanjut supervisi pendidikan tidak ada.Kata Kunci: Koordinasi, Pengawas dan Supervisi Pendidika
KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DALAM PENGELOLAAN PROGRAM LAYANAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI SMP NEGERI 17 KOTA BANDA ACEH
Abstract: One of the determining factors by the implementation of guidance and counseling management as well as by the program services that lead to the success is to improve the competency and professionalism of its teachers.The objective of this study is to determine the competency and professionalism of guidance and counseling teachers in three key aspects: in planning, implementation, and evaluation. Sample was restricted to the services of the guidance and counseling program at state junior high school 17 or SMPN 17 in Banda Aceh and this study involved the principal, vice principal, guidance and counseling teachers, and the chairman of guidance and counseling forum (or abbreviated as MGBK in bahasa) as subjects. The method applied in this research was descriptive method with qualitative approach.The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) the competency and professionalism of guidance and counseling teachers are considered based on their abilities in planning of various program and services oriented to guidance and counseling e.g. sharing of information, placement and distribution, understanding the content, group and individual counseling, mediation services, and individual planning; 2) the implementation related to guidance and counseling services are counted based on the operation of basic services e.g. guidance in class rooms, individual or group counseling, consultation, mediation, or any individual services outside the school hours e.g. home visits, or referral; 3) the competency and professionalism of guidance and counseling teachers should also be enhanced not only in evaluation skills related to services but also in terms of problem formulation, data-collection, -instrument and -analysis, as well as in planning the follow-up programs.Keywords: capacity building, counseling, education, junior high school, managementAbstrak: Salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan pelaksanaan program layanan bimbingan dan konseling adalah kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan konseling dalam pengelolaan program bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMP Negeri 17 Kota Banda Aceh. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, ketua MGBK dan guru bimbingan dan konseling. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling adalah merencanakan program layanan orientasi, layanan informasi, layanan penempatan dan penyaluran, layanan penguasaan konten, layanan bimbingan kelompok, layanan konseling individual, konseling kelompok, layanan mediasi, dan perencanaan individual; (2) Pelaksanakan program layanan bimbingan yaitu dengan melaksanakan layanan dasar bimbingan di dalam kelas, melaksanakan layanan konseling individual, konseling kelompok, konsultasi, mediasi, referal, kunjungan rumah serta layanan perencanaan individual di luar jam pelajaran; (3) Kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengevaluasi program layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan merumuskan masalah dan instrumen pengumpul data, menganalisis data serta melaksanakan tindak lanjut. IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN AKADEMIK FAKULTAS KEGURUAN DAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS JABAL GHAFUR SIGLI
Abstract: Academic management has a very important role in improving the academic services. Through planning, an effective and efficient academic implementation and monitoring will create a productive work system. The purpose of this study was to determine the academic planning, academic Implementation, monitoring and obstacles in the implementation of academic at the Faculty of teacher Training and Education. The method used was descriptive method with qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection used in this study were documentation, observation, and interviews. The Subjects for this study were Dean, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Head of Administration of the Faculty, Head of Academic Affairs of Faculty and Staff of Academic Affairs of study programs, lecturers and students in the faculty. The results showed that: (1) Academic Planning was implemented by using button up pattern, academic activities was based on academic needs in the Faculty of teacher Training and Education of Jabal Ghafur University of Sigli. The Academic planning activities was started before the beginning of the year, and the preparation of the academic planning for one and another year did not all at once, as well as involve all those who were responsible for the academic. (2) The academic implementation has generally been carried out effectively and efficiently, the implementation of the academic done were management academic personnel resources, time management, facilities and infrastructure management and student services, but in the process of implementation still had many obstacles because of the availability of support facilities, the ability of academic staff as well as the availability of personnel. (3) The Supervision is carried out internal and external, this is to ensure the least accomplished academic planning, and is based on the results of monitoring there are several factors and constraints in the implementation of academic planning, namely internal and external factors.Keywords:Academic Management and CollegesAbstrak: Manajemen akademik memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan layanan akademik. Melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan akademik yang efektif dan efisien akan menghasilkan sistem kerja yang produktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Perencanaan akademik, pelaksanaan akademik, pengawasan akademik dan kendala-kendala dalam pelaksanaan akademik Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jabal Ghafur Sigli. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas Dekan, Pembantu Dekan Bidang Akademik, Kepala Tata Usaha Fakultas. Kepala SBAK Fakultas, Staf SBAK Jurusan, Dosen dan mahasiswa di fakultas tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan akademik dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pola button up, kegiatan akademik disusun berdasarkan kebutuhan, kegiatan perencanaan dimulai dari awal tahun, dan penyusunan perencanaan untuk satu tahun dan tahun berikutnya dilakukan tidak sekaligus, serta melibatkan semua personil yang bertanggungjawab terhadap bidang akademik. (2) Pelaksanaan akademik, secara umum telah dilaksanakan melalui pengelolaan sumber daya akademik, pengelolaan waktu, pengelolaan sarana dan pengelolaan pelayanan mahasiswa, namun dalam proses pelaksanaannya masih ada berbagai kendala, karena ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung, kemampuan staf akademik serta ketersediaan personalia yang mengelola masih relatif kurang. (3) Pengawasan yang dilaksanakan secara internal dan eksternal, hal ini untuk memastikan terlaksana tidaknya perencanaan akademik, dan berdasarkan hasil pengawasan ada beberapa faktor kendala dalam pelaksanaan dan perencanaan akademik yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Akademik dan Perguruan Tingg
BUDAYA ORGANISASI SEKOLAH DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK PADA SMA NEGERI 1 KOTA LHOKSEUMAWE
ABSTRACTSchool organizational culture has an important role in realizing academic and non academic quality standards in schools. School organizational culture born of noble values embodied in a shared vision among all components of the school, an effective school organizational culture grows and develops continuously in the hope of providing characteristics for the development of the character of learners. in general, this study aims to describe the school organizational culture in the character formation of learners in SMA Negeri 1 Kota Lhokseumawe. Through the preparation of school culture formation programs, the implementation of school culture formation programs, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the establishment of school organizational culture. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach with data collection technique through observation, interview, and documentation study. Research subjects are element of school residents consisting of: principals, vice principals, vice principals, teachers, and learners. The results of the study showed that: (1) the program of establishing a school organizational culture containing religious programs (ROHIS), non-smoking and drug-free school programs, healthy and clean school culture, scouting programs, youth red cross, paskibraka program, PPPK) literacy program, extracurricular program for all subjects, and honesty canteen program; (2) the implementation of the school organizational culture formation program involves all stakeholders, the role and ability of all stakeholders, the results of the implementation of the school organizational culture program, the result (3) the inhibiting factors facing the school lack of faculty yag mastering scouting, male religion, lack of support from some teaching staff, there are parents of learners who are less supportive of school organizational culture values, and the influence of foreign culture and development of science and technology contributes negatively.Keywords: culture, school organization, and student characte
MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH PADA MTSN MODEL BANDA ACEH
School based management as a practical approach whose aim is to design and to manage the school system by giving power to the school principal and increase teachers participation, parents and society. MBS is expected to improve the quality of sustainable and having independence. This study aims to know the application of MBS in MTsN Model Banda Aceh. Approach research used is a qualitative approach. Method of this research is descriptive with data collection by using observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects are principals, deputy of curricula, students affairs, public relations and teacher. The result of the research shows that: (1) curriculum field management discuss preparation of learning, comprehension, mastery of teaching material competence / subject matter and purpose; Use of forms in classroom management, using methods and learning with media. (2) Student field management develops the potential of learners optimally integrated, including; Talent, interest and creativity. (3) Personnel management on MTsN Model of teacher development, providing self-development opportunities and recruitment of companion teachers. (4) Community relationship management functions, among others, fostering school relationships with parents. Maintain good relationships with school committees. KOMPETENSI MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH PADA SMP TERPENCIL NEGERI 3 BANDAR BARU PIDIE JAYA
The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze: (1) Competence managerial principals in a remote SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya in planning school activities; (2) the principal managerial competence in implementing the plan school activities on a remote SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya; and (3) the principal obstacle encountered in implementing managerial competence in a remote SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects are: principals, teachers and school committees. The results showed that: (1) Competence managerial principals in planning school activities has been good, it is seen from there RKS, the committee PSB, the organizational structure of the school, the structure of the school committee, school financial management, personnel management, management of student, curriculum management and public relations, but in the management of facilities and infrastructure, information management systems have not been managed optimally; (2) the principal managerial competence in implementing the action plan the school has not reached the maximum results, as seen in the educators in excess, lack of innovation in teaching methods, laboratory and library management is not optimal; (3) the principal obstacle encountered in implementing the managerial competence of teachers is the lack of discipline, lack of facilities and infrastructure, there is no motivation from parents to students.Keywords: managerial competence, principals, and school isolate
KEPALA SEKOLAH SEBAGAI EDUKATOR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI GURU PADA SMK NEGERI 2 SIGLI KABUPATEN PIDIE
The principal as an educator has a strategic role in enhancing the teachers competence.The purpose of this study was to investigate the program, the principals strategies, the factors that influence and obstacles faced by principal as an educator in improving the teachers competence at Vocational School (SMK) No 2 of Sigli, Pidie Regency.This research used the descriptive method with a qualitative approach.Data collection techniques used was observation, interviews, and documentation.The research subjects in this study were a principal and teachers.The results showed that (1) The principal has carried out his role as an educator in improving the competence of teachers were to coach and mentor to teachers in the learning process, to conduct training, to provide mental and moral guidance of teachers, to provide encouragement and motivation to teachers;(2) The strategy of principal as an educator in improving the competence of teachers was by providing an understanding of the importance of the task which raised awareness of their own to do a good job.To face the teachers, principals usually always regarded teachers as partners, so that the principal could consult, discuss and exchange ideas with teachers, so it was found an effective way to improve the teachers competence;(3) Factors that influence the principal as educators were the commitment of teachers to the task given by the principal, disciplinary and exemplary principals;and (4) The obstacles faced by the principals as educators were the lack of responsibility of teachers in performing their duties and less than the maximum in the division of work.Keywords: principal, educator and teachers competence
PENGARUH ORGANISASI SEKOLAH DAN KINERJA GURU TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA SMK NEGERI KABUPATEN BIREUEN
Abstract: School organizational atmosphere and teacher performance are factorstoimprove students academic achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of school organizational atmosphere and teacher performance on studentsacademicachievement in State Vocational High Schools (SMKN) of Bireuen District. Descriptive method with quantitative approach was used. The population of this study were teachers and students of class XI at SMKNs in Bireuen District which were 250 teachers and 136 students.The data were collectedby using questionnaires and documentation studywere analyzed by using SPSS version 23. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between school organizational atmosphere (X1) and student academicachievement (Y) calculated by using the correlation coefficient and the value was 0.343. This showed that the influence was still in the weak category, with a significant level tcount ttable or 2.93 1.66 then Ho was rejected. In the variable of teacher performance (X2) on student academicachievement (Y), Pearson correlation value was 0.277, which was below 0.40. This indicated that teacher performance variable remained low on student academicachievement and the significance was tcount ttable or 2.064 1.977meaning that there was no significant correlation. However, the magnitude of simultaneouseffect between school organizational atmosphere (X1) and teacher performance (X2) on student academicachievement (Y) was equal to 0.4252 classified as a very weak relationship.Keywords:Teachingatmosphere,teacherperformance,studentacademicachevementAbstrak: Iklim organisasi sekolah dan kinerja guru merupakan salah satu faktor untuk terwujudnya prestasi belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim organisasi sekolah dan kinerja guru terhadap prestasi siswa pada SMK Negeri Kabupaten Bireuen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bireuen sebanyak 250 orang guru dan 136 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket serta studi dokumentasi dan analisis data menggunakan SPSS Versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara iklim organisasi sekolah (X1) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Y) yang dihitung dengan koefisien korelasi adalah 0,343 hal ini menunjukkan pengaruh yang masih dalam kategori lemah, dengan tingkat signifikan thitung ttabel atau 2,93 1,66 maka Ho ditolak. Pada variabel kinerja guru (X2) dengan prestasi belajar siswa (Y) dengan skor person corelation sebesar 0,277 berada di bawah 0,40 menunjukkan variabel kinerja guru masih rendah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, dan signifikansi thitung ttabel atau 2,064 1,977 yang artinya terdapat ada yang signifikan. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh secara bersama-sama (simultan) antara variabel iklim organisasi sekolah (X1) dan kinerja guru (X2) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Y) adalah sebesar 0,4252 hubungan tergolong masih sangat lemah.Kata kunci: Iklim, Kinerja Guru dan Prestasi Belajar Sisw
MANAJEMEN PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA SMP NEGERI 1 TAPAKTUAN ACEH SELATAN
Abstract: The purposeof this study is to test the ability of teachers tolearning management, e.g. planning, implementation and evaluation.The obstacles encountered by teachers are also explored. Usingdescriptive qualitative method, the research data is collectedfrom interviews, observations and documentation. The subjects of the study are English teachers and the Principal at State Junior High School No 1ofTapaktuan, South Aceh. The study finds that: (1) Planning for English lessonsconsists of building the identity of subjects, the standard of competence, basic competence, indicators, learning objectives, teaching materials, methods, allocation of time, learning activities, resources / tools,andassessment resultswhich can improve student achievement; (2) The study conducted by the teacher is still based on the syllabus of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). In carrying out learning activities, the English teachersare not applying innovative learning, and they are still focused on the application of conventional methods.The activities performby teachers in the implementation of learning processare:the start of classes, the delivery of material (core activities) and the closing of the classes. In general, the process of learning in the classroom are more emphasized on the cognitive skills, meanwhile, psychomotor and affective skillsare often overlooked by the teachers;(3) the evaluation of learning were pre-test and post-test. Meanwhile, the assessment techniques used in teachingare a direct observation during the learning process and a test at the end of each learning process. It needs to be advised that the assessment is not the goals, rather thantools;and (4) the challengescommonly faced by teachers in the planning, implementation and evaluation processaredifficult to formulate a set of indicators forachievement competency.The students frequently asked for permission to go out of class room during classes and the test items used is also difficult to analyzed. In dealing withthese obstacles, teachers are usually received guidance from senior teachers.Keywords: Management, Learning, and Student AchievementAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam manajemen pembelajaran, meliputi: Perencanaan; Pelaksanaan; Evaluasi; dan Hambatan yang dihadapi guru dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Yang Subjek penelitian adalah guru Bahasa Inggris dan Kepala SMP Negeri 1 Tapaktuan Aceh Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris disusun berdasarkan identitas mata pelajaran, standar kompetensi, kompetensi dasar, indikator, tujuan pembelajaran, materi ajar, metode, alokasi waktu, kegiatan pembelajaran, sumber/alat pembelajaran dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa; (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru masih berpedoman pada silabus BSNP. Guru Bahasa Inggris belum menerapkan pembelajaran yang inovatif, masih terfokus pada penerapan metode konvensional. Kegiatan yang dilakukan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu membuka pelajaran, menyampaikan materi (kegiatan inti) dan menutup pelajaran. Proses pembelajaran di kelas umumnya lebih menekan pada ranah kognitif, sedangkan ranah psikomotor dan afektif sering diabaikan oleh guru; (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran adalah pre-test dan post-tes. Sedangkan teknik penilaian yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran adalah observasi langsung saat proses pembelajaran, melakukan tes/latihan diakhir pembelajaran. (4) Hambatan yang sering dihadapi guru dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran yaitu sulit merumuskan indikator pencapaian kompetensi, siswa sering minta permisi keluar dan sulit menganalisis butir soal tes. BUDAYA ORGANISASI SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU PADA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DI KOTA BANDA ACEH
Abstract: School organizational culture is one of the factors that influences school management system in improving the performance of teachers. The study was aimed at determining the pattern of coaching discipline, perception, and motivation as part of organizational culture, behavior in carrying out school culture, and the inhibiting factors that appear in improving the teachers performance. This study used a descriptive method with qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection were conducted through observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects of the study were principals, teachers and school administrative staff. The study was conductedatLaboratory Senior High School (SMA Laboratorium) of Syiah Kuala University and SMA Negeri 4 of Banda Aceh. The result showed that: (1) the patterns of coaching discipline at both schools have been conducted in accordance with existing regulation. Coaching discipline was done persuasively through supervision, guidance, and direction, and giving the appropriate punishment based on the infraction level. (2) The ways of giving motivation at both schools have been run effectively, but there were no certificate, bonuses and salaries when teachers and staff carried out the tasks assigned properly. (3) The behavior relationships between school staff of both schools were implemented in formal and informal interactions, and it ran well. The work relationshipswere established through cooperation, transparency, caring, mutual respect, and the school activities that enhanced the solidarity among the school staff. (4) The barriers of both schools in improving the performance were the teachers did not have good habit of discipline.Keywords: School Organizational Culture, and Teachers PerformanceAbstrak: Budaya organisasi sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi sistem manajemen sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pembinaan disiplin, persepsi dan pemberian motivasi sebagai bagian dari budaya organisasi, perilaku dalam melaksanakan budaya sekolah, dan faktor-faktor penghambat yang muncul dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, dewan guru, dan pegawai administrasi sekolah. Lokasi penelitian adalah SMA Laboratorium Unsyiah dan SMA Negeri 4 Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Pola pembinaan disiplin pada kedua SMA tersebut telah dijalankan sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada. Pembinaan disiplin dilakukan dengan pendekatan persuasif, lewat pengawasan, membimbing dan memberi pengarahan, dan pemberian sanksi sesuai tingkat pelanggaran. (2) Cara pemberian motivasi pada kedua SMA tersebut telah berjalan dengan efektif, namun tidak ada pemberian sertifikat, bonus, dan honor apabila para guru dan personil sekolah menjalankan tugas yang dibebankan dengan baik. (3) Hubungan perilaku antara personil sekolah di kedua SMA tersebut dilaksanakan dalam bentuk interaksi formal dan informal, serta berjalan dengan kondusif. Hubungan kerja terjalin lewat budaya kerja sama, budaya transparansi, budaya kepedulian, budaya saling menghargai, dan kegiatan-kegiatan sekolah yang meningkatkan solidaritas para personil sekolah. (4) Hambatan yang ditemukan pada kedua SMA tersebut dalam meningkatkan kinerja adalah budaya disiplin kerja yang belum maksimal diperlihatkan oleh para guru.Kata kunci: Budaya Organisasi Sekolah dan Kinerja Gur
