PENGELOLAAN PELAKSANAAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI PADA JURUSAN TEKNIK KENDARAAN RINGAN DI SMK NEGERI 2 BANDA ACEH
Abstract: The industrial internship program is one of the methods to implement vocational education and training, especially at vocational high schools by integrating learning activities at schools into a direct experience in enterprises and industries, which represents the real working environment. The objective of this study was to have an overview of management, implementation, and inhibiting factors in the industrial internship program at Light Vehicle Engineering Department, State Vocational High School 2 in Banda Aceh. The method used in this research was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data were collected by using observation, interview and documentation studies. The subjects in this research were the school principal, vice principal for public relation, and head of the department, teachers who were assigned to supervise the students, and representatives from enterprises and industries. The research results showed that: (1) The industrial internship program was designed by adjusting planning activities with school vision and missions, school organizational structure, and committee assigned to implement the program in accordance with their responsibilities; (2) In addition, the research results showed that the industrial internship program was divided into several structured and systematic stages; (3) The research results also showed that the supervisory activities were direct and indirect considering the nature of the program; and (4) Furthermore, it was revealed that the implementation of industrial internship program was not optimum, and the facilities available at the Light Vehicle Engineering Department, State Vocational High School 2 in Banda Aceh were not as sophisticated as those in enterprises and industries.Keywords: Management, Implementation, Inhibiting Factors, Industrial Internship ProgramAbstrak: Praktik Kerja Industri merupakan suatu cara menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan kejuruan khususnya pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan memadukan kegiatan belajar di sekolah dan kegiatan belajar melalui bekerja langsung pada DU/DI dengan keadaan sesungguhnya yang relevan di dunia kerja atau dunia industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang pengelolaan, pelaksanaan dan hambatan Praktik Kerja Industri pada jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Humas, Ketua Jurusan, Guru Pembimbing dan pihak DU/DI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penyusunan program praktik kerja industri dilakukan melalui perencanaan dengan menyelaraskan kegiatan perencanaan dengan visi misi sekolah serta struktur organisasi dan pelaksana program prakerin sesuai dengan tugas dan tanggung jawab; (2) Pelaksanaan program Praktik Kerja Industri dilaksanakan dalam berbagai tahapan yang terstruktur dan sistematis; (3) Kegiatan pengawasan dilakukakan secara langsung dan tidak langsung sesuai dengan program kerja; dan (4) Hambatan yang dirasakan dari pihak internal dan eksternal sekolah dalam pengelolaan Praktik Kerja Industri masih kurang optimal dan dari segi fasilitas praktik khususnya jurusan Teknik kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh dirasakan kurang mengimbangi teknologi yang ada di DU/DI saat ini.Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan, Pelaksanaan, Hambatan, Praktik Kerja Industr
MANAJEMEN PEMBELAJARAN DALAM IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM 2013 YANG BERKARAKTER PADA SISWA SMK 3 BANDA ACEH
Learning management is a management related to planning, implementing, and evaluating learning outcomes. The objective of this research was to identify the learning management in implementing 2013 curriculum and character building of students at Vocational School (SMK) 3 of Banda Aceh. This qualitative research was conducted by means of observation, interview, and documentation as the instruments in the process of data collection. The principal, the head of instructional division, the head of culinary art program, teachers, students, and supervisors were the subjects of this research. The data collected were then analyzed by using Miles and Hubermans methods which cover data reduction, data display, and verification. The results indicated that teachers (1) planning included annual program, semester program, weekly program, effective hours, and lesson plans. (3) In addition, the implementation of teaching and learning process was not in accordance with the lesson plans and scientific approach was not maximally implemented. Learning models and teaching methods chosen were not reallly appropriate. (3) Evaluation was done in each teaching and learning process, in the middle of semester, and at the end of the semester. MANAJEMEN MUTU PENDIDIKAN PADA SMP NEGERI 1 SIGLI KABUPATEN PIDIE
The quality of education is a picture of the overall performance of service in an educational institution.Optimal service will yield optimal results anyway and is able to meet the expected demand by a core component of the education system.The purpose of this study was to obtain information about (1) the curriculum management at State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) No 1 of Sigli, Pidie Regency, (2) student management at SMPN 1 of Sigli Pidie (3) personnel management at SMP Negeri 1 of Sigli, Pidie, and (4 ) facilities and infrastructure management at SMP Negeri 1 of Sigli, Pidie Regency. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive methods.Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation study.Subjects of this study were the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, vice principal for curriculum affairs, and teachers at SMP Negeri 1 of Sigli, Pidie Regency.The results showed that: (1) curriculum management has been implemented by work programs, program implementation, supervision, and implementation of the learning process optimally;(2) student management has been done well by showing some indicators, such as an increase of students discipline, run extracurricular activities, the student development, and evaluation of student activities that have been implemented;(3) personnel management has also been implemented, although not optimal; this reality was true by not giving regular professional development of teachers.In addition, there were employees who were not professional, that is, those who taught the lesson which was not their major;and (4) management of facilities and infrastructure has also been implemented to the maximum, level of completeness of infrastructure and facilities were adequate and can be utilized effectively to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 of Sigli, Pidie Regency.Keywords: management, quality management, and education qualit
KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MEMOTIVASI KERJA GURU PADA MTS SWASTA LAM UJONG KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR
Abstract: Leadership is a process headmaster affect or give examples of leaders to followers in an effort to achieve organizational goals. Leadership headmaster was very influential in increasing job motivation of teachers in the execution of their duties at the school. This study aims to determine the leadership of headmaster in developing the work program headmaster, set the strategy and the factors that affect the work motivation of teachers. This study used a qualitative approach. Techniques used in collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. Subjects of research include headmaster, deputy heads and teachers. The research found that: (1) Program headmaster in improving teachers' motivation to work, including work program, program settings physical and non physical environment, reward and incentive program for madrasah personnel; (2) Strategy headmaster to increase the motivation of teachers, improving teacher competence, implementation of reward and punishment, participation, delegation of authority, incentives, promotions, creating a harmonious relationship within the madrasah and give good example; and (3) Factors that affect the work motivation of teachers include responsibility and discipline.Keywords: Leadership, principal, and work motivationAbstrak: Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah merupakan proses mempengaruhi atau memberi contoh oleh pemimpin kepada pengikutnya dalam upaya mencapai tujuan organisasi. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah sangat berpengaruh dalam memotivasi kerja guru dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya di madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan program kerja kepala madrasah, mengatur strategi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi kerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala madrasah, wakil kepala dan guru. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: (1) Program kepala madrasah dalam memotivasi kerja guru meliputi program kerja, program pengaturan lingkungan fisik dan non fisik, program pemberian reward dan insentif kepada personil madrasah; (2) Strategi kepala madrasah dalam memotivasi kerja guru dilakukan dengan peningkatan kompetensi guru, penerapan reward dan punishment, partisipasi, pendelegasian wewenang, insentif, promosi, menciptakan hubungan harmonis dalam lingkungan madrasah dan memberi contoh teladan; dan (3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi kerja guru meliputi tanggung jawab dan kedisiplinan.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Kepala Madrasah, dan Motivasi Kerj
KINERJA GURU SERTIFIKASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI SMA NEGERI 2 TAKENGON KABUPATEN ACEH TENGAH
Abstract : Teachers are main component in bulding quality of education process and education outcome. The approach used in this study was descriptive naturalistic approach with qualitative data. Technique of data collection was feeld research. Subjects of this study were certified teachers, principal, and vice principal in curriculum. The result of the study showed that: (1) The ability of teacher certification in the planning and implementation of learning begins with analyzing the learning goals or indicators of learning based on standards of competence and basic competence, the implementation of learning , assessment instruments adapted to the purpose/learning indicators. (2) Certified teachers commitment reflected through their discipline and responsibility in running their duties such as come and leave the school on time, perfect attendance, build a good relationship with other colleagues and students. (3) certified teachers have high motivation in running their duties on learning process in school, have motivation to guide students, and have a good plan in running and implementing their duties.Keywords : Performance of certified, teachers, and learningAbstrak : Guru merupakan komponen yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap terciptanya proses dan hasil pendidikan yang bermutu. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu naturalistik, bersifat deskriptif dengan jenis data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tehnik Field Research (penelitian lapangan). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sertifikasi, kepala sekolah, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan guru sertifikasi dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran diawali dengan menganalisis pembelajaran tujuan atau indikator pembelajaran yang berdasarkan standar kompetensi (SK) dan kompetensi dasar (KD), pelaksanaan pembelajaran, instrumen penilaian yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan/indikator pembelajaran. (2) Komitmen guru sertifikasi tergambar dari kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, seperti datang dan meninggalkan sekolah sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan, tingkat kehadiran yang tinggi, membina hubungan yang baik dengan rekan sejawat maupun dengan peserta didik. (3) Guru sertifikasi memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dengan melaksanakan tugasnya dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas maupun dalam lingkungan sekolah, termotivasi untuk membimbing peserta didik, perencanaan yang baik sangat membantu pelaksanaan dan melaksanakan tugas.Kata kunci: kinerja guru, sertifikasi, dan pembelajara
GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN GURU PADA MAN PEGASING KEBUPATEN ACEH TENGAH
Abstract: The principal leadership style is one of the determining factors of teachers discipline. The principal is required to utilize and solve all the school problem together, so the leadership can influence others to achieve the goals set. This research was aimed at finding out: (1) the style of principal leadership in improving the discipline of teachers, (2) the constraints faced by principal in improving the discipline of teachers of MAN Pegasing, in Aceh Tengah regency. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection were conducted through observation, interview, and documentation. The research subjects were principal and teachers of MAN Pegasing, in Aceh Tengah regency. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion techniques. The result showed that: (1) the principal of MAN Pegasing in Aceh Tengah regency used authoritarian and democratic leadership style in improving the discipline of teachers. (2) the principal of MAN Pegasing in Aceh Tengah regency had obstacle in improving the discipline of teachers at school. It could be seen from the poor work ethos of teachers, teachers lived far from school, teachers had different background of education, so the teachers did not understand the administration well, both teacher and classroom administrations. It is expected that the principal give motivation and guidance related to discipline, commitment, ability, and responsibility of teachers effectively and efficiently in order to improve discipline of teachers at school.Keywords: Style of Leadership and Teacher DisciplineAbstrak: Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor penentu kedisiplinan guru. Kepala sekolah dituntut dapat memanfaatkan dan mengatasi bersama-sama semua persoalan yang terjadi di sekolah, dengan demikian kepemimpinan dapat mempengaruhi orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan yang di inginkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatan kedisiplinan guru, (2) hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru di MAN Pegasing Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru MAN Pegasing Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) gaya kepala MAN Pegasing Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru, adalah dengan gaya otoriter dan demokratis (2) kepala sekolah MAN Pegasing Kabupaten Aceh Tengah memiliki hambatan dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru di sekolah. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari etos kerja guru yang masih lemah, guru berdomisili jauh dari sekolah, latar belakang pendidikan berbeda, sehingga kurang menguasai administrasi, baik administrasi guru maupun administrasi kelas. Diharapkan kepada kepala sekolah supaya dapat memberikan dorongan dan arahan dalam kinerjanya tentang disiplin guru, komitmen guru, kemampuan guru dan tanggung jawab guru secara efektif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Kedisiplinan Gur
KINERJA GURU PUSTAKAWAN DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH PADA SMAN 8 BANDA ACEH
In empowering the school library as a learning resource center requires a good performance from a teacher-librarian. This study aims to determine the palnning and implementation of school library programs, efforts to empower school libraries and factors that support and hinder teacher-librarian in work. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are: interview, documentation study and observation. The subjects of the study were: Teacher-Librarian, Principals, Teachers and Students. The results of the research indicate that: (1) The planning of library programs has been discussed together in regular school workshops involving all stakeholders. The library program is centered on three parts: collection development, collection organization and collection service. (2) Of the overall planned program, some have been implemented in accordance with the schedule that has been determined, some are partially wired, and some are not implemented. Teacher-librarian performance assessments fall into the low category. (3) Teachers-librarian doing library empowerment efforts that still revolve around library routine activities. Not yet based on creative and innovative programs. (4) Factors that support the performance of teacher-librarian come from individual teacher-librarian, while those that inhibit performance come from external factors
KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU DALAM PENGELOLAAN PEMBELAJARAN DI MTs MUHAMMADIYAH BANDA ACEH
Abstract : A success of teachers should be supported with basic skills in implementing their knowledge in the process of educative interaction as well as their willingness to devote themselves according to their ability. This study aimed to find our the importance of teacher competence in learning management, profesional strategy of teachers, and learning evaluation in improving the quality of education. Method of research is descriptive with qualitative approach. The Techniques of data collection used were interview, observation, and documentation study. The Subjects of the study were teachers, principal, vice principal, and students in Muhammadiyah Islamic Junior High School of Banda Aceh City. The results of the study showed that: (1) the competence owned by the teachers in planning lessons, especially in designing lesson plan, syllabus, planning learning media and sources, and learning evaluation was in accordance with the instructions set, but there were some teachers did not make lesson plan. (2) The professional strategy of teachers in learning implementation was master the material, structure, concept and mindset of science that supports the subjects taught. It was done by reviewing materials before continuing to teach and adjusting the materials with lesrning media/sources; (3) The learning evaluation given by the teachers was in accordance with the learning goals set, which included assessment of student's character, ability fo understanding concept, and student's skills and attitud in learning process. The evaluation was conducted in every completed learning material. Keywords : Competence , Professional, and Learning ManagementAbstrak : Keberhasilan guru harus didukung oleh kemampuan dasar dalam mengimplementasikan ilmunya dalam proses interaksi edukatif serta kerelaannya untuk mengabdikan diri sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran, strategi profesional guru dan evaluasi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah para guru, Kepala Madrasah, Waka Madrasah dan siswa di MTs Muhammadiyah Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kompetensi yang dimiliki guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran dalam menyusun RPP, penyusunan silabus, merencanakan media dan sumber pembelajaran serta merencanakan evaluasi pembelajaran sesuai dengan petunjuk yang ditetapkan, tetapi ada beberapa guru mengajar tidak membuat perencanaan pembelajaran; (2) strategi profesional guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yaitu: menguasai materi, struktur, konsep dan pola pikir keilmuan yang mendukung mata pelajaran yang diajarkan. Hal itu dilakukan dengan review materi sebelum melanjutkan, menyesuaikan materi dengan media/ sumber belajar; dan (3) evaluasi pembelajaran yang diberikan guru sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu mencakup nilai karakter siswa, penilaian kemampuan memahami konsep, nilai keterampilan siswa dan nilai sikap dalam proses pembelajaran. Evaluasi dilakukan setiap selesai satu materi pokok bahasan pelajaran.Kata kunci: Kompetensi, Profesional dan Pengelolaan Pembelajara
PENGELOLAAN SEKOLAH KEJURUAN BERBASIS ISO 9001:2008 DI SMK NEGERI 3 BANDA ACEH
Abstract : As for the purpose of this study is: (1) knowing school policies hearts Implementation of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 (2) knowing the school's policy strategy in the implementation of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008, and (3) knowing the school quality assurance procedures manual in the implementation of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008. The approach used in this study was descriptive etnografi approach with qualitative data. Techniques of collection data used were observation, interview and documentation. Subjects of this study were principal, quality manajement representative, teacher and students. The results of the study showed that: (1) the achievement vision of school is determined by, the development of curriculum and teaching programs, the admission of new students, the human resource developent, the improvement of infrastructure, and the evaluations wich conducted in the context of overall improvements in various fields will affect the completeness of education services at school. (2) Strategy policy of school implemented by the determination of quality objectives pursued and developed within the framework of increasing and improving the quality of school education to determine customer satisfaction. (2) untuk mengetahui strategi kebijakan sekolah dalam pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008, dan (3) untuk mengetahui manual prosedur penjaminan mutu sekolah dalam pelaksanaan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu etnografi, Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil manajemen mutu, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perumusan kebijakan sekolah: Ketercapaian visi sekolah yang ditentukan oleh, pengembangan program kurikulum serta pengajaran, sistem penerimaan peserta didik baru, pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia, peningkatan sarana prasarana, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan dalam rangka perbaikan menyeluruh dalam berbagai bidang akan berpengaruh terhadap kesempurnaan layanan pendidikan disekolah. (2) Strategi kebijakan sekolah dilaksanakan dengan penentuan sasaran mutu yang ditempuh dan dikembangkan dalam kerangka peningkatan dan perbaikan mutu sekolah untuk menentukan kepuasan pelanggan pendidikan. (3) Manual prosedur penjaminan mutu sekolah: Pengelolaan manual prosedur penjamin mutu sekolah yang baik dapat mengembangkan budaya mengenal pentingnya kualitas penjamin mutu dalam penyelesaian kerja.Kata kunci : Kebijakan Mutu, Strategi dan Manual Prosedur IS
MANAJEMEN SARANA DAN PRASARANA PENDIDIKAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI SD NEGERI LAMTEUBEE ACEH BESAR

The purpose of this research is to describe correctly and real about the management of education facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning in SD Negeri Lamteubee Aceh Besar.Data collection technique include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research subjetct were Headmaster, Vice Principal, Teacher Council, and School Staff/Operator. Result of research indicate that: (1) Planning of facilities and infratructure that is with activity analyze first first all school facilities and infrastructure. (2) The procurement of facilities and infrastructure collects inventory data for the data first and knows the inventory. (3) Utilization/use in is used by all citizens of schools, teachers and all school children, utilization of educational inventory should also be effectively monitored by the parties appointed by the school. (4) Maintenance of facilities and infrastructure is needed by teachers and students so that the goods owned by the school is always under supervision and well maintained. (5) Elimination in made a letter of proposal to the Education Office so that related parties can make an official letter for the deletion.
