PERILAKU POLITIK LEGISLATOR PEREMPUAN DALAM MEMPERJUANGKAN KEPENTINGAN PEREMPUAN
Full text linkMasih kurangnya penanganan isu-isu yang berkenaan dengan perempuan serta peraturan daerah yang diskriminatif, membuat keterwakilan perempuan di bidang politik sangat penting demi terciptanya kebijakan yang lebih sensitif terhadap kebutuhan perempuan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bermaksud mengkaji perilaku politik legislator perempuan dalam memperjuangkan kepentingan perempuan di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Dengan mendasarkan diri pada asumsi dasar â€muted group theory†dengan menggunakan metoda analisis etnograï¬Â kritis, dihasilkan bahwa perjuangan kepentingan perempuan baik secara kognisi, afeksi dan behavioral menemui hambatan yang berasal dari kontruksi budaya patriarki yang memberikan opresi melalui bahasa politik verbal dan nonverbal yang merendahkan perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam bahasa politiknya, perempuan tidak harus mentransformasikan bahasa politik dalam model yang diterima oleh laki-laki (model maskulin). Perempuan dapat mengembangkan model alternatif untuk mengekspresikan pengalaman dan kode dalam pesan sebagai upaya mendeï¬ nisikan bahasa yang lebih dapat diterima. Model alternative yang menggabungan model maskulin dan feminine ini merupakan solusi terbaik legislator perempuan untuk mengurangi opresi yang dilakukan oleh laki-laki. Model maskulin dalam bahasa politik perempuan dilakukan mengadopsi nilai-nilai bahasa maskulin yaitu intonasi yang tegas, membalas guyonan dan konotasi seksual. Sementara model feminin dilakukan dengan mengubah kelemahan perempuan yang dianggap feminin menjadi kekuatan secara verbal dan nonverbal.Keywords: budaya patriarki, bahasa politik, model alternati

Selama ini media lebih banyak mengedepankan jurnalisme konfl ik daripada jurnalisme damai. Sehingga media berperan bagi penyebaran kekerasan berlatar agama. Karena itu diperlukan pendekatan jurnalisme damai yang mengedepankan prinsip perdamaian dalam setiap pemberitaan. Urgensi pelaksanaan jurnalisme damai bagi negara multikultur seperti Indonesia adalah keharusan agar konfl ik tidak semakin berkembang. Full text linkMedia bukanlah tempat saluran yang bebas. Berita yang kita baca bukan hanya menggambarkan realitas, tetapi juga konstruksi dari media itu sendiri. Lewat berbagai instrumen yang dimilikinya, media ikut membentuk realitas yang tersaji dalam pemberitaan (Eriyanto, 2009: 23). Sehingga kalau ada berita yang menyebutkan kelompok tertentu atau menggambarkan realitas dengan citra tertentu, gambaran semacam itu merupakan hasil dari sumber berita (komunikator) yang menggunakan media untuk mengekspresikan pendapatnya. Ideologi patriarki sebagai ideologi umum masyarakat Indonesia, membawa konsekuensi pada posisi dan peran perempuan di media, sebab bagaimanapun media itu tidak hidup dalam situasi bebas nilai terhadap lingkungan sosialnya. Artinya bahwa suatu media pasti memiliki orientasi nilai keyakinan, kesadaran kultural, profesionalitas dan keberpihakan sehingga ketika menggambarkan sosok perempuan pelaku kriminal pun tidak akan lepas dari bingkai laki-laki dalam memandang pelaku kriminal perempuan tersebut.Kata kunci : efek media, opini public, patriarkiÂ

Karyawan memiliki fungsi karena mereka menyediakan tenaga kerja dan sumber daya untuk menciptakan produk atau jasa. Dengan adanya masalah pada karyawan, akan menyebabkan penurunan kinerja perusahaan, dan pada akhirnya akan berpengaruh terhadap image perusahaan. Universitas Islam Sultan Agung sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan tinggi sangat memperhatikan karyawan sebagai sumber daya insani yang sangat penting untuk mencapai visi dan misi universitas, namun seiring pertumbuhan universitas maka permasalahan keterlibatan karyawan dalam komunikasi internal menjadi persoalan yang perlu dianalisis. Berangkat dari pemikiran pentingnya keterlibatan karyawan, maka penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2009 di Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) Semarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi terhadap pemecahan masalah dalam keterlibatan karyawan di dalam komunikasi internal, dan memberikan pemahaman tentang kriteria keterlibatan karyawan yang efektif dalam komunikasi internal, agar dapat membantu memberikan solusi terhadap masalah keterlibatan karyawan di Universitas Islam Sultan Agung.   Key words : komunikasi internal, keterlibatan karyawan, image

PENONJOLAN TOKOH ANTAGONIS DALAM FILM THE DARK KNIGHT (Studi Semiotik Tokoh Joker dalam Film The Dark Knight)

These scien- tic developments are not only examines the symbols contained in any society, but rather touch- ing aspects of construction and the cultural mindset behind it. This study tried to examine the semiotic aspects contained in the lm The Dark Knight and specically examined an antagonist character of the Joker character. The Dark Knight is a genre lm with action and antagonistic character is the Joker. In this study, the Joker is considered as a symbol that represents a crime, and the symbol is shown through the character of the Joker. By using a semiotic analysis of Ro- land Barthes in which there are aspects of the denotations and connotations that would result in the myth, this study intends to nd out how the Joker character in this lm is focused. The result is shown as the villain Joker through violent behavior, against the law and create chaos in the city of Gotham. Not only that, the Joker is a villain that is different from criminals in general, where he committed the crime instead of aiming for the money but only to an existence as a true villain. Full text linkInterpersonal Communication is the most important communication process for every human being. Family relationship is one of the examples where interpersonal communication happened between Parents and Child. Moreover, family is the most important “social network†for a child in their early life period so that relationship with family is a kind of base attitude to other people, things and life in general. Therefore interpersonal communication between parents and child has, a role in giving child understanding about the way of life that child must internalize through behavior norms that have been taught. On the other hand, autism disorder severely impairs development of a person’s ability to communicate both verbal and nonverbal, interact with other people, and maintain normal contact with the outside world. This condition needs serious attention for parents with autism child. The purpose of this research is to reveal about how interpersonal communication happened between parents and child in giving understanding about behavior norms to autism child. Theories that used in this research are interpersonal communication theories from Devito, Laing and Fisher, effectiveness interpersonal communication theory from humanistic perspective, child dependency theory from Jones and Gerard, child communication theory from schramm and phenomenology theory. Research method that used in this research is qualitative descriptive with phenomenology approach. From this research we may know that parents experience in communicating with autism child is different between one to another. Every parent’s interpretation about their experience is being infl uenced by their relation with time, their self, information about autism also child age and child condition. Regarding self in relation to time revealed that the more parents spent their time with their child the more parents understand about their child characteristic and child habit that leads to effectiveness communication. In relation to self revealed that after they knew about their child condition, they show empathy, supportiveness, positiveness in their attitudes. In brief, we can say that the parents’ willingness to confess that they have autism child is the most signifi cant step, whichhave great impact to their child development

Media not only select the events and determine the source of news, but also plays a role in defining the actors and events. Through the language used, the media can say that the issue of rehabilitation and reconstruction is more important than women's issues that require cooking or sanitary equipment (for example). The media also prefer men to be a disaster news sources than women. Therefore, the media needs to have a sense of gender (gender sensitivity), but it has a sufficient understanding of the disaster. That, in the event of disaster is not just about statistics (total area affected, number of losses, the number of victims, etc.), but the media should be able to see further than that
