    Validity and Reliability of Teacher Work Satisfaction Scale: The Validity and Reliability of Teacher Work Satisfaction Scale

    The purpose of this research is to test the validity and reliability, as well as to test the aspects that can form the job satisfaction variables which are compiled based on the Spector theory. Job satisfaction is measured based on nine aspects, pay, promotion, fringe benefits, rewards, supervision, work procedures, co-workers, nature of work, and communication. The subjects of this study were 86 teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta. The scale was compiled using a semantic differential scaling model and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results showed that all aspects were able to reflect job satisfaction variables. The dominant aspect is the aspect of supervision with a loading factor value of 0.798. While the weak aspect is the aspect of the nature of the job with a loading factor value of 0.612.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas skala kepuasan kerja, menentukan kontribusi setiap aspek dan indikator dalam mencerminkan kepuasan kerja dan menguji model teoritis kepuasan kerja berbasis data empiris. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 86 guru di SMK X Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah probability sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kepuasan kerja yang disusun dengan model penskalaan diferensial semantik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) melalui program SmartPLS 3.0. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap aspek mampu merefleksikansembilan aspek kepuasan kerja pada guru SMK, yaitu gaji, promosi, tunjangan, imbalan, pengawasan, prosedur pekerjaan, rekan kerja, sifat pekerjaan dan komunikasi. Aspek yang paling dominan menggambarkan kepuasan kerja adalah pengasawan dengan indikator persepsi dan reaksi terkait dengan sikap dan nilai yang baik dari kepala sekolah. Aspek terendah yang menggambarkan kepuasan kerja adalah sifat pekerjaan yang ditunjukkan melalui persepsi dan reaksi guru terhadap pekerjaan tersebut. Model teoritis variabel kepuasan kerja sesuai dengan data empiris.&nbsp

    For an individual, self-awareness’ functions is to control all emotions, so that they can be used in establishing social relationships with other people, as well as to control oneself in an effort to meet their daily needs, so that they can successfully solve the problems they have. This study aims to find the relationship between self-confidence and self-awareness on interpersonal communication and career development of students of the Faculty of Psychology and Health, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This study used descriptive quantitative approach with variables: self confidence, self awareness, effective communication, and career development. The sample used in this study were 183 respondents who were randomly selected using a questionnaire, to students of the psychology faculty at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The descriptive data in this research is interpreted and analysed by using a scale range. In descriptive quantitative research, data processing is carried out based on percentage analysis and trend analysis. The results showed that there is relation between self-confidence and self-awareness on interpersonal communication and career development, where the higher the self-confidence and self-awareness that students have, then the higher the interpersonal communication skills and career development.Bagi seorang individu, fungsi self awareness (kesadaran diri) adalah untuk mengendalikan segala emosi, sehingga dapat digunakan dalam menjalin hubungan sosial dengan orang lain, serta untuk mengendalikan diri dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari, sehingga dapat berhasil memecahkan masalah. masalah yang mereka miliki. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan variabel: kepercayaan diri, kesadaran diri, komunikasi interpersonal, dan pengembangan karir. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 183 responden yang dipilih secara acak dengan menggunakan kuesioner, kepada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Data deskriptif dalam penelitian ini diinterpretasikan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan rentang skala. Dalam penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, pengolahan data dilakukan berdasarkan analisis persentase dan analisis tren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara self confidence dan self awareness terhadap komunikasi interpersonal dan pengembangan karir, dimana semakin tinggi self confidence dan self awareness yang dimiliki siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dan pengembangan karirnya

    Research on self-efficacy is hotly discussed, especially in this time of pandemic. As for knowing the high or low self-efficacy, a valid and reliable measuring instrument is needed. The purpose of this study was to develop a teacher self-efficacy scale using SEM modeling based on Bandura's theory. The aspects of self-efficacy that are used as a reference for making measuring instruments consist of level, strength, and generality. The study was conducted on 100 Vocational High School teachers. The measuring instrument is arranged using the Likert model. The validity and reliability test used the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) approach with the help of PLS ​​3.29 software. The results showed that the self-efficacy measurement tool was declared valid and reliable because all items from the dimensions were able to reflect the 110 constructs that were formed. This measuring instrument is also declared valid and reliable where there are 12 items that have fallen out of the 30 items submitted. &nbsp

    This study aims to identify whether there is a significant relationship between risk-taking and student entrepreneurship intentions. In this study using quantitative methods with a psychological measurement scale. The technique in this research uses incidental sample technique with 260 respondents. Measuring instruments used in this study are the Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ) and DOSPERT (Domain-Specific Risk-Taking). The statistical analysis used in this study is Kendall's tau-b test. The results showed Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 which means that there is a significant relationship between risk-taking and entrepreneurial intentions in students.     Potrayal of Post-Traumatic Stress Diorder Among Flood Survivors

    This study aims to look at the description of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in flood survivors. Data method using PCL-C measuring instrument. This study used the PCL-C scale from Weathers et al., (1994) developed by Solichah (2007). Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis techniques with the help of SPSS version 22. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that subjects who experienced symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who were in the high category were 24.6%, 61.5% moderate, and low 13,8%.This study aims to look at the description of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in flood survivors.     Memory is very necessary on daily life, especially in learning. Likewise as color, which has an effect on cognitive system that can help increasing individuals’ attention level. This research mainly focused to explore the effect of color on short-term memory. Research design that we used is  Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design with 16 subjects that equally divided into experiment group (n=8) and control group (n=8). Control group was asked to remember animals pictures with black and white color series meanwhile experiment group with colorful pictures. The subjects of this research were 19-23 years old  women that is a college student and is not having or experiencing color blindness. The data was analyzed by using Anava Mixed Design for examine the hypothesis. The result showed that our hypothesis was denied because there is no effect of color on short-term memory with F = 0.324 and  p = 0.578 (p > 0.05). Therefore, the result, procedure and treatment process will be discussed further in this study.Daya ingat sangat diperlukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam pembelajaran. Demikian pula dengan warna yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap sistem kognitif yang dapat membantu meningkatkan level atensi seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh warna terhadap performa memori jangka pendek. Desain penelitian yang dipilih adalah Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design dengan 16 subjek yang terbagi dalam kelompok eksperimen (n=8) dan kontrol (n=8). Kelompok kontrol diminta untuk mengingat gambar hewan dengan warna hitam-putih dan kelompok eksperimen dengan gambar warna-warni. Subjek penelitian merupakan mahasiswi yang berusia 19-23 tahun dan tidak mengalami buta warna. Analisis data menggunakan Anava Mixed Design untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis ditolak karena tidak ada pengaruh warna terhadap short-term memory dengan F = 0.324 dan nilai p = 0.578 (p > 0.05).     ABSTRACT Rehabilitation member of Rumah Sehat Orbit Surabaya (RSOS) experienced problems in self-control based on preliminary data collection through interviews process. These problems inhibit the recovery process of rehabilitation members from using drugs. Member of rehabilitation need to improve self-control in order to maximize the recovery process during the rehabilitation and be able to maintain the behavior not to relapse using drugs after rehabilitation. Several studies show that mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) is effective in increasing self-control. This study aims to examine the effect of mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) training to improve self-control in members of the Rumah Sehat Orbit Surabaya (RSOS). The research method used is experiment. Participants in this study were 11 people. Participants scores will be compare before and after the intervention is given. Based on the result of this research through comparative test, the significance results of 0.004 (<0.05) on self-control and 0.011 (<0.05) on mindfulness. It means that there is significant difference before and after mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) training. Practicing mindfulness consistenly helps individuals to be able to look inside themselves and recognize their abilities so that individuals feel they have control over themselves.ABSTRAK Anggota Rehabilitasi Rumah Sehat Orbit Surabaya (RSOS) mengalami permasalahan  dalam kontrol diri berdasarkan penggalian data awal melalui proses wawancara. Permasalahan tersebut menghambat proses pemulihan anggota rehabilitasi dari penggunaan NAPZA. Anggota rehabilitasi perlu untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri untuk dapat memaksimalkan proses pemulihan selama proses rehabilitasi dan mampu mempertahankan perilaku untuk tidak kembali menggunakan NAPZA pasca rehabilitasi. Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian menunjukan bahwa mindfulness base stress rduction (MBSR) efektif untuk menimgkatkan kontrol diri pada individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pelatihan mindfulness base stress rduction (MBSR) untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri pada anggota rehabilitasi Rumah Sehat Orbit Surabaya (RSOS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 11 orang. Partisipan akan dilihat perbedaan skor sebelum dan sesudah intervensi diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji beda yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,004 (<0,05) pada kontrol diri dan 0,011 (<0,05) pada mindfulness. Hal ini mennjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan mindfulness base stress rduction (MBSR). Melatih mindfulness secara rutin membantu individu lebih mampu untuk melihat ke dalam diri serta mengenali kemampuan diri sehingga individu merasa memiliki kontrol akan dirinya. &nbsp

    The Description of Internet Game Online Addiction Among Teenagers

      Online game is one of the most popular leisure activity for adolescents. Playing it excessively can lead to addiction. Once addicted, behavior problems arise and at a certain level of addiction, psychological treatment will be needed. The aim of this study is to describe online gaming addiction in terms of four levels of addiction. The participants are 41 high school students (12-14 years old) who lived in Jatinangor. They are active players in online games using mobile phones, computers, or other media. Data were collected using an open-ended questionnaire than qualitatively analysed by the way of thematic analysis. Result shows that participants mostly perceived playing online games as a pleasurable and rewarding activity (recreational level of addiction). In this level, there are negative impacts that occur when they are playing online games, but the impacts disappear when they stop playing an online game. In at-risk level, participants feeling the rewarding effects (e.g. stress release). Participants accept when their parents start complaining about their gaming behavior. In problematic use level, the gaming behavior is increasingly done alone and often dismissed parents’ concern about their gaming behavior. In fully addict level, only the amount of time for playing online games reported (8 hours per day).     The Impact of loneliness and romantic relationship status towards quality of life among adult single women in Indonesia: The Impact of loneliness and romantic relationship status towards quality of life among adult single women in Indonesia

    A single or unmarried woman is often stigmatized to feel lonely. Due to the unmarried status, a single woman tends to be stereotyped having sort of difficulties and their quality of life is affected. Despite of being unmarried, a single woman has the opportunity to protect their quality of life. This study aims to identify the impact of loneliness and romatic relationship status to quality of life among adult single women in Indonesia. 200 single women aged between 28 to 40 years old are included in this study. This study found that there is a significant impact between loneliness and romantic relationship status to a subjective evaluation for quality of life F(3, 196) = 16.053; sig. 0.000; R Square=0.197). However, there is no interraction effect between the level of loneliness and romantic relationship status to all quality of life’s dimension F(3, 197) = 2.267, p = 0.063; Wilks’Lambda=0.96; Partial eta squared = 0.05). The study only found a significant contribution on level of loneliness towards those quality of life’s dimension.   Keywords: Loneliness, quality of life, single, woman, romantic relationship statusPerempuan yang masih melajang di usia yang umumnya sudah menikah seringkali mendapatkan stigma bahwa dirinya mengalami kesepian. Ketidakhadiran pasangan dalam hubungan institusi berbentuk pernikahan pada perempuan dewasa dianggap memberikan dampak terhadap kondisi psikologisnya, salah satunya adalah kualitas hidup. Padahal, perempuan lajang memiliki kondisi spesifik yang juga dapat memberikan fungsi protektif pada kualitas hidupnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya pengaruh kesepian dan status hubungan romantis terhadap kualitas hidup pada perempuan lajang dewasa di Indonesia. 200 perempuan lajang berusia 28-40 tahun dilibatkan sebagai partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kesepian dan status hubungan romantis terhadap kualitas hidup ditinjau dari perspektif subjektif F(3, 196) = 16.053; sig. 0.000; R Square=0.197). Namun begitu, tidak ditemukan adanya efek interaksi antara tingkat kesepian dan status hubungan romantis terhadap seluruh dimensi kualitas hidup F(3, 197) = 2.267, p = 0.063; Wilks’Lambda=0.96; Partial eta squared = 0.05).     Validity of the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS) Measurement Tool

    Social phobia is a person's fear when they are doing something in front of others, such as eating, drinking, shaking, blushing, talking, writing or vomiting. This activity refers to anxiety in a person. There are two aspects to identify anxiety, performance and social. This study aims to test the validation of the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS) measurement tool. This research is a quantitative study that involved active undergraduate students as subjects aged 17-25 years. The subjects were 177 students from various institutions in Indonesia. Data is obtained through google forms that are shared online and the data is processed using the SPSS application. Accidental sampling was used for this study, so the subjects needed were subjects who met the above criteria. Validation of the measurement tool uses evidence sources based on internal structures and correlations with other measuring instruments (Beck Depression Inventory and Social Interaction Anxiety Scales). The results obtained from this study prove that the LSAS measuring instrument is valid and can be used to measure social anxiety.Social phobia adalah ketakutan seseorang ketika beraktivitas di depan orang lain, seperti makan, minum, gemetar, memerah, berbicara, menulis atau muntah. Aktivitas ini merujuk kepada kecemasan dalam diri seseorang. Terdapat dua aspek yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kecemasan yaitu performance dan social. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validasi alat ukur Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan kriteria subjek mahasiswa aktif strata 1 usia 17-25 tahun. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 177 mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Data diperoleh melalui google form yang disebarkan secara online dan data diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling sehingga subjek yang dibutuhkan adalah subjek yang memenuhi kriteria di atas. Validasi alat ukur pada penelitian ini menggunakan sumber bukti berdasarkan struktur internal dan korelasi dengan alat ukur lain (Beck Depression Inventory dan Social Interaction Anxiety Scale).
