Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classical music to improved Mathematics learning outcomes in high grade IV, V, and VI in Binakheir Islamic Elementary School, period 2011-2012. The method used in this study is a quasi experimental, using design one-group pretest-posttest design. With the amount of research samples as many as 90 students. Students' scores in mathematics problems is obtained through data analysis techniques used to test the hypothesis is to test-t, with alpha = 0,05. Based on data analysis using t-test with significance t (0,000) < alpha set (0,05), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This study therefore concludes which is classical music has a significant impact on improved student learning outcomes in mathematics higher grade IV, V, and VI elementary school

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-esteem toward work stress on credit card marketing employees in Jakarta. The population of this study were all of credit card marketing officer in Jakarta. That consist of 60 respondents. This study using quantitative methods with ex post facto research design and using accidental sampling techniques Data collection using the Rosenberg self-esteem scale and the scale of job stress that adapted from Susilo. Statistical analysis was used to test the hypothesis regression with SPSS 17.00. Based on the results of the data, obtained value of F= 14.680, p= 0.000 < 0.05 (significant) and the value effect (Adjusted R Square) variables of selfesteem on job stress is 0.202 (20.2%). So that it can be concluded that there is significant effect of self-esteem towards job stress on credit card marketing officer in Jakarta.

Get PDFThe objectives of this research is to find out self esteem and aggressivity of illegal motorcycle racing that are: profile of illegal motorcycle racers who always make agressivity, factors which cause illegal motorcycle racers do the activities of illegal motorcycle racing, self esteem of illegal racers who always make agressivity, and the impact of self esteem towards illegal motorcycle racers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method of two illegal motorcycle racers who have ten years experience in doing illegal motorcycle racing. This case study was conducted in Bekasi, West Java and Special Jakarta Province starting from 22 October until 22 December 2012. Data was gained through observation and indepth interview. The data was triangulated through crosscheck with all information from other sources before it was analysed qualitatively, i.e. classification of data, coding, examining of the hypothesis, interpretation, and conclusion. The findings of the research are: 1) both illegal racers have two self esteem and aggressivity eventhough they have different indicators, 2) factors causes illegal motorcycle racers who do the illegal motorcycle racing in order to be famous, more respectful and not despiced by other people, have a support from friend, as a kind hobby, and interested in doing challenge referring to the adrenalin, 3) self esteem of illegal motorcycle racers caused their aggresivity due to their self defend, and 4) the impactof self esteem of illegal motorcycle racers is that arise aggressivity, and damaging themselves, society, and other illegal motorcycle racers

Get PDFThis study aims to understand the influence of teacher efficacy on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education. The variables studied were teacher efficacy as an independent variable (X) and teacher attitudes toward inclusive education as a dependent variable (Y). The method used is quantitative research, with cluster sampling technique. Participants of this study were teachers from inclusive public elementary school in Jakarta (N = 164). The instrument used to measure teacher efficacy is Teacher Efficacy for Inclusive Practice (TEIP), while Multidimensional Attitudestoward Inclusive Education Scale (MATIES) was used to measure teacher attitudes toward inclusive education.Processing methods of data analysis in hypothesis testing using regression analysis. Results of this study showed there is influence of teacher efficacy on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education (p <α; 0,002 < 0,05), with the contribution of influence 0,05 (5%). Therefore, in this study Ho is rejected and Ha accepted

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of big five personality on organizational commitment toward the lecturers State University Of Jakarta. Personality trait is composed of five major trait that Opennes to Experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism (OCEAN). The fifth trait of the personality trait will be seen any where that has an influence on the organizational commitment of the lecturers in Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research method using quantitative methods. The sampling technique used is insidental sampling. In the process of the data used comes from the true score of Rasch modeling. The measuring tool used for organizational commitment is the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire whichis constructed by Meyer and Allen with reliability value of items of 0.97 based on Rasch Modeling. For measuring personality trait is used The Big Five Inventory who constructed by John et al. With the reliability value items amounted to 0.99 based on Rasch modeling. In the data processing used multiple regression model. Based on the result, obtained the value of p = 0,000 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that thefive personality trait had an influence (13,1%) on organizational commitment, only trait Extraversions and Conscientiousness, while trait opennes to Experience, Agreeableness and Neuroticism did not have effect

Get PDFGetting married is a phase in the cycle of human life. The purpose of marriage are very diverse one of which is the desire to have a child as a complement in a family. For some people in Indonesia, to have children as the successor of their generations is a must. Even though most of married couple want to have a child, but unfortunately not every married couple are blessed with child. This can be caused by several factors, one of which is a biological factor, namely infertility. This study was conducted to determine coping strategies that are more often used by married women while facing the stress due to not having children. This study used quantitative method. The instrument used to measure coping stress is a modified inventory of The Ways of Coping (WOC) and associated with a stressor of infertility from The Infertility Problem Inventory (FPI) with coefficient Cronbach Alpha 0,88. The sample for this study is 42 subjects, with non-probability sampling technique and incidental technique. Data was analyzed using Winstep software (RASCH Model) version 3.73 and SPSS version 16.0. The result of this research shows that married women more often use emotion focused coping strategy in facing stress because haven’t been blessed with child, with percentage equal to 67,33%

Get PDFThe objectives of the study were to determine the differences of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) based on the Extra-role Behavior (OCB) dimensions of the teachers in terms of demographic factors (gender, age, marital status, and employment status). The samples are 138 primary school teachers in districs Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The study used the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) scale of the adoption of the Extra-role Behavior (ERB) consisting of 18 items with the reliability αlpha = 0.91. The conclusion is that there is a difference Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with dimension of Extra-role Behavior (ERB) student in teacher by demography factors (marital status and employment status), dimension of Extra-role Behavior (ERB) team on teacher by demography factor (age, marital status and employment status), and dimension of Extra-role Behavior (ERB) organization on teachers by demographic factors (employment status)

Get PDFThis Research aims to review the relationship between resiliensi and job stress on primary school teachers.This research using quantitative methods.Samples to this study were 100 (n = 100) using purposive sampling technique.The data using a questionnaire resilience quotient test and teacher stress inventory (TSI). The analysis used using spss 23.0 version. Based on the research, we got the result of notation statistics r = -0.41; p = 0.000 < 0.05 (significant). The result of this research indicated there are significant negative relationship between resiliensi themselves to stress work in primary school teachers. Much value p produced is -0.41 on significance 0.05 standard

The aim of this study is to find the influence of hypnobirthing method to decrease level’s of anxiety of early adult women’s confinement. The research was held in Ningsih Midwife’s from March until June 2012. This research used experimental research method which is kind of quasi experiment with one-group pre-posttest design. Analysis obtainded using the Wilcoxon test z = -3.061 , p = 0.002 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that there are significant differences in before and after hypnobirthing. From these results it was found that there are significant difference between groups of measurements before. Based on the results of this analysis, the hypothesis of this study is acceptable. This research’s hypothesis is hypnobirthing method effective to reduce anxiety in the first child labour in early adult mother. The implication of this research is hypnobirthing method can decrease the pregnant women’s level of anxiety towards confinement and easy to be executed. This method can be applied not only at midwife but also in pregnant women by her self..

PENGARUH ATTACHMENT TERHADAP ORIENTASI PERILAKU PROSOSIAL PADA REMAJA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI (SMAN) 2 BEKASI
Get PDFAbstract This research is aimed to analyze the effect of attachment on orientation prosocial behavior of Adolescents. The research was conducted at 2 State High School of Bekasi. The method used in this study is quantitative research methods using the Ex Post Facto design. The sampling technique in this study is proportionate stratified probability sampling with random sampling. The number of samples used in this study as many as 100 people. Data analysis techniques are used to test the hypothesis is to test the regression by using SPSS 20. Based on the results of a calculation, a large effect (Adjusted R Square) variable attachment to orientation of prosocial behavior were 0.123 (12.3%), which means that attachment affects orientation of prosocial behavior as much as 12.3% and the remaining 87.7% is influenced by factors other than attachment. The results showed Ha received so it can be concluded that there is influence of attachment on orientation of prosocial behavior in adolescents in State High School (SMAN) 2 Bekasi.
