Pendidikan Karakter Menurut Imam Nawawi dan Aplikasinya dalam Kehidupan
Character can be interpreted as character, character, psychological traits, morals or character that distinguishes one person from another. One of the works of Imam Nawawi ra. is the Book of Riyadhus Shalihin which is a very famous book in the Islamic world. This book has been used as a guide for years among scholars, students and students of religious knowledge in parts of the Islamic world. The contents of the work of Imam Nawawi ra. This is able to organize and grow the strength of a big soul in someone in worshiping Allah SWT, the creator of the universe, because worshiping Allah SWT can lead a person to goodness and happiness. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of character education according to Imam Nawawi ra. within the Madrasah Aliyah environment in Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method. This research was conducted by collecting the necessary library data, especially the essay of Imam Nawawi ra. Data collection also uses observations and interviews with the community in the Madrasah Aliyah environment in Aceh to obtain character education application data according to Imam Nawawi ra. The results showed that the values of character education according to Imam Nawawi ra. related to Commandments, related to Warnings and related to Instructions and character with Allah and with Creatures. Implementasi Manajemen Kurikulum Dayah Mudi Mesra Kabupaten Bireuen
The purpose of this research is to analyze the curriculum management of Dayah MUDI Mesra Bireuen Regency. The method used is qualitative research using interviews, observations and document studies. The results of this research are (1) Dayah curriculum planning is carried out by way of deliberation in preparing the curriculum. By involving dayah leaders, teachers and expert teams as well as the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Dayah Education Development Office. The drafting mechanism is carried out by mapping basic competencies, analyzing time allocation, creating annual programs and semester programs, and then creating RPP; (2) Curriculum organizing shall be carried out with several activities through the division of teaching tasks in accordance with the areas of expertise and interests, preparation of lesson schedules, improvement and enrichment, extracurricular and refreshment schedules for teachers; (3) The implementation of a curriculum oriented towards the implementation of a productive, active, innovative, effective and enjoyable learning process (PAIKEM) is supported by dayah instructional leadership that exemplifies and motivates dayah teachers; (4) The supervision of the curriculum shall be carried out by the leadership on the implementation of learning conducted by the teacher based on the learning document and then supervision to the classroom during the learning; and (5) Curriculum evaluation includes examination of teacher learning documents/Learning Implementation Plan and capturing inputs related to the support system to improve the quality of dayah learning

IMPROVING STUDENTS READING COMPREHENSION BY SURVEY, QUESTION, READ, AND WRITE (SQRW) STRATEGY AT GRADE VIII SMP NEGERI 1 PANYABUNGAN
Penelitian ini membahas tentang peningkatan pemahaman membaca siswa dengan strategi Survey, Question, Read, and Write (SQRW) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Panyabungan. Sebagian besar siswa memiliki prestasi membaca yang rendah, siswa tidak memiliki banyak kosakata, siswa tidak memiliki strategi yang baik dalam membaca. Permasalahannya dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Permasalahan dalam faktor internal adalah kesulitan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi kalimat topik, mengidentifikasi ide pendukung, mengidentifikasi makna kata yang sulit, mengidentifikasi informasi penting, serta mengidentifikasi kesimpulan. Permasalahan dalam faktor eksternal adalah motivasi, pindah ke kursi lain, berisik, dan meminta izin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pencapaian siswa dalam pemahaman membaca dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman membaca siswa dengan menggunakan strategi survey, question, read, and write (SQRW) di kelas VIII SMP N 1 Panyabungan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan desain Kemmis yang terdiri dari empat langkah sebagai; perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Untuk memecahkan masalah siswa dalam membaca pemahaman, peneliti menerapkan strategi SQRW. The researcher used two cycles; every cycle consisted of two meetings. Selain itu, peserta penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII (23 siswa) dan ada kolaborasi dengan guru bahasa Inggris. Sementara itu, data berasal dari tes membaca pemahaman, observasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata siswa. Skor siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 53,69 (26,08%) dan skor siswa di siklus 2 adalah 75,65 (69,56%). Dari skor rata-rata siswa dalam siklus 1. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa skor rata-rata pada siklus kedua lebih tinggi dari siklus pertama. Berdasarkan catatan observasi dinyatakan bahwa siswa mendapat peningkatan dan siswa lebih aktif dan tertarik untuk belajar membaca pemahaman. Persepsi Ulama Kota Langsa Terhadap Kepemimpinan Wanita ( Studi Kasus Pilkada Walikota Langsa )
In this day and age, women take part in almost all fields of activity or work, including in regional head elections. The advantage of a man over a woman is that he has the ability to think, which is why he gives birth to courage, strength and the ability to overcome various difficulties. Meanwhile, women are more sensitive and emotional. In reality and current reality shows that the view of the greatness of men and the weakness of women from the intellectual and professional side. The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of the Ulama Kota Langsa on the leadership of women in the local elections for the mayor of the City of Langsa and to identify the factors that influence the different perceptions of the Ulama Kota Langsa about the leadership of women in the City of Langsa. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method that produces data in the form of written and spoken words from the subject under study. The main target of this research is the ulama of Langsa city. Data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data validity used is data triangulation technique. Data analysis includes 4 things, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is that the Ulama of Langsa city show that women can be leaders in the public sector, but the concept of understanding ideal leadership in Islamic teachings which they understand places men as the top priority to become leaders. Women are deemed to be allowed to become leaders if there are no men who are able to hold the position or the woman has more talent or expertise than the existing men
UPAYA PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP FISIKA SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SQ3R (SURVEY, QUESTION, READ, RECITE & REVIEW)
This study departs from the problem of non-contestual learning material and low students’ performance, most teachers still carry out learning in a monotonous method. Based on the problems this research this research conducted, with the aim of increasing the understanding of students' physics concepts and teacher activities in physics learning using the SQ3R learning model. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Siabu through classroom action research with two cycles. In the first cycle, some students and teachers were not familiar with the learning conditions of the SQ3R model. In the second cycle, students and teachers have begun to understand the implementation of SQ3R learning, and have shown satisfactory results. It can be seen from the results of observations of teachers and students getting used to putting the learning atmosphere that leads to the SQ3R learning approach. From the test results, it is known that the understanding of students' physics concepts increased from 55.62 to 73.75; an average score is 64.66 which can be categorized as good. Mastery of learning improved from 25% in the first cycle to 67.5% in the second cycle. From the result above, it concluded that SQ3R learning can improve the understanding of students' physics concepts in physics learning in class X SMA N 1 Siabu in the academic year 2010-2011
Small Group Discussion For The Students’ Reading Comprehension Of The Senior High School Students
This studies involved approximately the impact of Small Group Discussion Strategy (SGDS) on the students’ reading comprehension at grade X SMK Swasta Panca Dharma Padangsidimpuan. There had been a few issues determined for the students: 1) they were given problems in comprehending the text, 2) they have problems in deciphering phrases and a few vital components which include predominant idea, normal structure, and particular language features, 3) they had been less practice to the gaining knowledge of process. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the SGDS to the students’ reading comprehension. This study turned into experimental studies with pre-test and post-test design. The population turned into all the 10th grade of SMK S Panca Dharma Padangsidimpuan., they are 112 students; and taken as sample 2 classes, they are XA as experimental group and XB as control group. To examine the information, the researcher used t-test formula.Based at the calculation of t-test, the researcher determined that t-count = 4.18 and t-table = 1.67591, it means that t-count is higher than t-table (4.18 1.67591). So, the researcher should concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that SGDS has big impact to student’s reading comprehension at grade X SMK Swasta Panca Dharma Padangsidimpuan
KEDUDUKAN DPD RI DALAM SISTEM TATA NEGARA PERSPEKTIF SIYASAH
The discussion of this paper is motivated by the contradiction of functions, roles and competencies of the DPD RI. The purpose of this research was to find out the position of the DPD in the Indonesian state system and to find out the views of the siyasa fiqh on the position of the DPD in the Indonesian constitutional system. The results of this research indicated that the position of the DPD RI in the Indonesian state system has limited position and authority. The position and competence of the RI DPD should be strengthened so that the performance of a DPD RI institution becomes better in regional autonomy. If the DPD RI has an unlimited position, it gives a special authority in building the region. The view of siyasa fiqh towards the position of the Republic of Indonesia Regional Representative Council in the Indonesian state system is inconsistent and inappropriate, because Ahlul al-Halli wa al-'Aqdi is a representative of the people who can give fatwa, while the DPD RI is an institution that has the authority limite
THE CORRELATION BETWEEN GENERIC STRUCTURE MASTERY AND THE STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN WRITING NARRATIVE TEXT AT THE GRADE VIII IN SMP NEGERI 3 PADANGSIDIMPUAN
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi hubungan antara pengetahuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan terhadap generic structure (struktur teks) dan kemampuan mereka dalam menulis teks naratif. Sampel yang dihunnuk untuk emwakili populasinya adalah sejumlah 38 siswa yang dipeorleh melalui teknik pengambilan sampel kluster. data penelitian dipeorleh dengan tes pilihan berganda ungtuk variable generic structure dan tes essai menulis sebuah teks naratif untuk variable kemampuan siswa dalam menulis. Data dianalisis melalui uji hipotesis “ τ”. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kemampuan struktur teks dan menulis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan pada kondisi baik. Untuk hubungan antara kedua variable dapat dinyatakan signikan karena nilai r hitung lebih besar daripada r-table. Oleh karenanya hipotesis diterima, yakni terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penguasaan siswa pada struktur teks dan kemampuan menulis teks narati
