Management of Teacher Performance Improvement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan City
Full text linkThis study's overarching goal is to describe the administration of teacher performance enhancement. The precise goals are to explain: 1) planning for increasing teacher performance, 2) putting the program into practice, and 3) assessing the management of teacher performance improvement. Interviews, observations, and documentation are used as data gathering methods in this descriptive qualitative research design. Teachers and principals served as the research participants. The outcomes demonstrated that management of increasing teacher performance through planning and evaluation was successful. However, several issues, including both internal and external issues, were discovered as a result of the management of increasing teacher performance
The Significance of Students' Perception and Participation on Reading Comprehension at IAIN Padangsidimpuan
Full text linkThis article aimed to find out the influence of students’ perception and participation of Tadris English Department students toward Reading Comprehension learning during the Covid-19 Era at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The data were collected through students’ perception questionnaires, students' participation questionnaires, and reading comprehension tests. This research was correlational research design using a quantitative method. The subject of the research was the students’ 2nd year English department programs at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The research sample was taken by using Total population sampling. 65 students have been used as samples in this research. Simple linear regression and multiple regression formula were used to analyze the data. The research findings showed that first, there was a significant influence on students’ perception and their Students’ Reading Comprehension with a score (0.000 0.05). Second, there was a significant influence on students’ participation and reading comprehension with scores (0.000 0.05). Third, there was a significant influence between perception and participation on students reading comprehension with a score (0.000 0.05) at IAIN Padangsidimpua
The Role of Women in Supporting the Economic Condition of the Poor: An Analysis of Gender Issues on Farming Families
Full text linkBasically everyone agrees that women and men are different. Women and men in the household are generally subject to the division of labor. This division of labor led to the development of limited social roles for both sexes and the creation of power differences in some respects that were more favorable to men. This role is seen in poor families in Padang Bolak Tenggara District. Thus, research was carried out to find out more about the role of women in supporting the economy of poor households in farming families in the District of Padang Bolak Tenggara, the profile of women (farmer's wives) who worked, the time spent required by farmers' wives, and what gender issues arose due to the involvement of the farmer's wife in supporting the family's economy. This paper is a gender perspective. The essence of gender perspective research is a study that clearly seeks to express women's experiences and gender relations according to a central issue that needs attention. Data collection methods using observation and interviews. In conducting data processing and analysis, researchers use Harvard analysis techniques. This technique is often referred to as Gender Framework Analysis (GFA), which is an analysis used to look at the gender profile of a social group and the role of gender in development. Based on observations in the District of Padang Bolak Tenggara of the farming family, it is known that the farmer's wife is very involved in helping the family economy. The profile of women (farmers' wives) in the District of Padang Bolak Tenggara can be seen from the average age of 40-50 years, 65% have a junior high school education background, only 3 people who have makeup/salon and sewing skills, besides farming. The intensity of time spent by women (farmer's wives) working outside is quite high at around 8-10 hours per day. This still does not include homework, i.e. doing homework and caring for children. This makes the workload and working time span of farmer's wives much longer than men. Thus, the gender issue that arises is injustice in the division of labor

Full text linkPoverty alleviation efforts are continuously being carried out by every country in the world, especially Indonesia. Various programs and policies have been implemented by the government as an intermediary in overcoming this problem with various fiscal policy issues in the form of fuel increases, taxes, external debt and APBN budget predictions where these policies are considered bad for the community because they are not targeted and is uneven. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of tax policy in alleviating poverty in Indonesia based on an economic review of Sharia. This study uses a Content Analysis through a qualitative approach. The conclusion of this study is that the measures implemented by the government to alleviate poverty have not been optimal. Islam finds the solution to less poverty through the zakat instrument. Islamic teachings lay the fundamental foundation for people's socio-economic growth and development through the concept of zakat, hence it is not wrong that the government considers zakat policy as one of the efforts to alleviate the poverty problem in Indonesia. As for the zakat policy in this matter, one of them is productive zakat in the form of capital and education for Small and Medium Enterprises and optimizing the role of Amil Zakat Institution for the benefit of the Ummah
Motivasi Memakai Cadar dalam Perspektif Hukum Syariah pada Mahasiswi IAIN Padangsidimpuan
Full text linkThe phenomenon of the veil in the community remains an interesting study because there are still many people who feel foreign to seeing women using it. Negative stigma is often directed at women who wear the veil by considering them as adherents of radicalism, terrorism, and followers of deviant studies. However, this development cannot be dammed and stopped so there are still many female students who wear the veil. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation to use the veil among female students of IAIN Padangsidimpuan. This research is qualitative descriptive research that is revealing the phenomenon of the veil which is then reviewed from the point of view of Islamic law. Data collection techniques in this study use observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model data triangulation technique, namely data collection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the motivation to wear the veil among IAIN Padangsidimpuan students is intrinsic motivation, namely encouragement that comes from within. Extrinsic motivation is classified as little because having experience has a special relationship with "dating" status. The purpose of using the veil, in general, can be concluded to protect oneself, view, strengthen worship, be a shield not to do things that are forbidden by Allah, and become a pious person. Then the challenges they face come from themselves, their families, and the community environment in the form of negative stigma so that they are said to be adherents of radicalism, terrorism, extremism, and followers of deviant studies. The hope from this research is that the public understands which games are allowed and which are prohibited in the applicable laws and regulations and the government must limit the games that can be used by every citizen by making regulation
Pemasaran Jasa Pendidikan sebagai Strategi Dayah Bulisc dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing Madrasah
Full text linkDayah BULISC is a new educational institution in the West Aceh region, but in a short time, the Dayah has been able to establish itself as one of the institutions that are in demand by the community. This fact is then interested to be investigated. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and document searches. The results of the study show that Dayah BULISC has been able to apply the marketing mix (product, people, price, promotion, place, physical evidence, process) well in building the quality of institutions while increasing inter-institutional competitiveness. This can be seen. The product chosen by Dayah BULISC with the flagship program is the Tahfizul Quran. Dayah BULISC has good resources and is supported by cheap and affordable tuition fees for the community. The location of Dayah is also very strategic with the condition of the building being quite good and complete in supporting the learning carried out. Dayah BULISC also conducts promotions using several media including social media so that messages about the conditions and programs that are carried out by Dayah can be conveyed in full to the communit

Full text linkملخصالكتاب المدرسي أحد من الشروط في تخصيل برنامج التعليم بسب أن كتاب المدارس الجودة تسهل الطلبة في فهم مجالات التعليم التي علمه المدرس. وكتاب المدارس يسمي به كتاب الذي سيتعلم الطلاب في وقت معين. كتاب اللغة العربية بين يديك وهو كتاب الذي تدرس المحاضرين في مركز تطوير اللغات بجامعة فدانغ سيديمفوان الإسلامية الحكومية في مجال التعليم اللغة العربية حتي يحتاج إلى المفاهيم الواضحة في تطبيقها لتحصيلة اهداف التعليم. هذا البحث هو بحث الوصفي لمعرفة تطبيق كتاب اللغة العربية بين يديك كتابا واجبا على الطلاب. الفرد من هذا البحث هو كتاب ومفروده تطبيقها عند الدرس اللغة العربية. والطريقة التي تستخدم في جمع البيانات مقابلة وملاحظة وتوثيقة تتعلق عن تطبيق الكتاب وأما في تحليلها بطريقة تحليل المضمون من البيانات التي جمعت في البحث. وجد الباحث أن إجراءات التعليم منظما ومرتبا مرجوعا إلى الأنشطة التعليمية الموجودة منها الأنشطة الإفتتاحية والأنشطة الإجراءاتية والختامية وكذالك لابد بالمهارة الأربعة وهي الإستماع والكلام والقراءة والكتابة. والمحاضرين لديهم الوقت الكثير لتعليم اللغة العربية بكتاب العربية بين يديك حتي يتمكنهم في أنشطة المتنوعة لترقية مهارات الطلاب في اللغة العربية.الكلمة الإفتتاحية: كتاب المدارسي، البرنامج، المهارات Abstrak Buku ajar adalah salah satu penentu keberhasilan program pembelajaran, karena buku ajar yang berkualitas menjadikan peserta didik menjadi lebih mudah memahami materi ajar yang di ajarkan oleh pengajar. Buku ajar juga di sebut sebagai buku yang harus di pelajari oleh peserta didik dalam waktu yang di tentukan. Buku Al-arabiah baina yadaik adalah buku ajar yang diajarkan pada program intensif learning Pusat Pengembangan bahasa IAIN Padangsidimpuan pada mata kuliah Bahasa Arab sehingga membutuhkan konsep penerapan yang jelas sehingga mencapai tujuan yang terukur. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu menjelaskan bagimana penggunaan buku ajar Al-arabiah baina yadaik ini sebagai buku wajib dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab di Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah buku Al-arabiah baina yadaik, dan objeknya adalah penerapannya dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen yang berkaitan dengan buku Al-arabiah baina yadaik dan penerapannya, dan Setelah mendapatkan data penelitian, kemudian di analisa dengan metode analisis konten. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran berjalan dengan pengawasan yang jelas dan tersistem, dimana ada beberapa unsur pembelajaran yang harus terlaksana di dalamnya yang terdiri dari kegiatan pembuka, kegiatan inti dan penutup, serta harus memenuhi empat maharoh kebahasaan yang terdiri dari istima’, kalam, kitabah dan qiroah. Kemudian keterjaminan ketercapian materi ajar dan pemahaman mahasiswa akan menjadi lebih terjamin karena proses menggunakan waktu yang cukup dan memadai sehingga pendistribusian materi ajar semakin matang dan para pengajar mempunyai banyak kesempatan untuk melakukan pengayaan yang variatif untuk menunjang pembelajaran bahasa Arab.Kata Kunci: buku ajar, program,maharoh
Development Method for Determining the Law of Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) Post Reform (Case Study of Fatwas related to Law)
Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the development of the method of determining the law by the Indonesian Ulama Council after the reformation in the case of legal fatwas. Data collection was carried out by way of interviews with MUI administrators throughout Indonesia represented by the fatwa commission which produced fatwas related to crucial issues of public interest and political fatwas that greatly influenced the political situation in Indonesia. The location of this research was conducted at the Central MUI institutions, DKI Jakarta Province, West Java Province, East Java Province, and West Sumatra. The results obtained are that the method used by the MUI runs in accordance with established procedures and standards in the MUI and does not shift from the previous period. The legal determination carried out by MUI has a special style compared to other institutions, namely a more moderate process, meaning that it is not extreme or radical. In setting a fatwa decision, the MUI is not influenced by political pressures from outside that surround it even though the pressure has a psychological impact on the perpetrators of the implementation of the law. The determination even though it looks like there is pressure, but in reality it is the response of the MUI itself. Moderasi Beragama di Kalangan Milenial Peluang, Tantangan, Kompleksitas dan Tawaran Solusi
Full text linkThe religious moderation campaign for millennials faces many challenges. The facts on the ground show that the phenomenon of radicalism is deeply rooted. The moderation program offered by the government has lost its reputation with the radicalism movement which is packaged attractively and in accordance with current trends. Through a qualitative approach and a radical paradigm of humanism, this study then tries to explore the root cause of the strengthening of radicalism and how complexities are faced by the discourse of religious moderation. This study then found several conclusions including, First, the moderation movement has been less fast and less attractive to millennials compared to the opposite movement. Second, the geneological roots of moderation and radicalism are not finished and are related to the relationship between religion and the post-independence state. Third, the influence of transnational radicalism. Fourth, socio-political-economic factors, including poverty, state violence, legal injustice, political instability, racial issues, militarism and so on. The only opportunity that the discourse of religious moderation has is the pre-independence cultural roots, through strengthening cultural values, Islamic treasures (intellectual Islam) and the welfare economic movement. If such opportunities are not utilized, the movement and discourse of religious moderation will run aground in the middle of the road
