    Infiltrasi Nalar Ideologis dalam Tafsīr Lugawī: Kritik Jamāl Muṣṭafā al-Najjār terhadap Interpretasi Al-Qur’an Berbasis Kaidah Bahasa

    The linguistic approach in interpreting the Qur’an is considered an ideal approach. However, in practice, this approach is often used as a tool for ideological infiltration. Based on this, this research focuses on examining linguistic interpretation and attempts to identify the aspects and types of ideological infiltration in linguistic exegesis by adhering to the systematic critique of al-Najjār. This research employs content analysis methods based on the theory of the muwāfaqah al-lughah wa al-sharī‘ah. The findings of this research indicate that to assess whether linguistic exegesis is ideologically infiltrated or not, one can see to what extent the interpretation aligns with linguistic and sharia principles. Additionally, according to al-Najjār, there are three forms of ideological infiltration in linguistic exegesis, through naḥw, the literal meaning of words, and qirā’at of the Qur’an

     Abstract: This study analyzes the concept of character education according to the Qur\u27an and Hadith through qualitative studies of various previous studies. Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping individuals who have moral integrity and social responsibility. In the context of Islamic education, the Qur\u27an and Hadith are the main sources that establish the values and principles of good character formation. The Qur\u27an provides basic guidance, while the Hadith provides concrete examples of these teachings. This study explores the values and methods of character education contained in the Qur\u27an and Hadith, as well as their relevance in the context of formal and informal education. The findings of the research are expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding and implementation of character education rooted in Islamic values, with the ultimate goal of creating Muslim individuals with noble character and an ethical society

    Tabayyun in the Digital Marketplace: Quranic Ethics Against Skincare Overclaims

    In the digital era, overclaims in product advertisements, especially in the skincare sector, on e-commerce platforms have become increasingly widespread and challenging for consumers to verify. This study aims to examine the relevance of QS. Al-Hujurat [49]:6 through the lens of tafsir in addressing the ethical implications of misleading promotional content. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this research integrates thematic tafsir analysis with contemporary case studies of skincare product marketing on Shopee. The findings show that the Qur’anic principle of tabayyun (verification) remains highly relevant as a moral compass for both consumers and sellers in navigating the flood of information and commercial persuasion. Tafsir scholars emphasize the urgency of critical information filtering before passing judgment or making decisions, especially in spaces vulnerable to manipulation and disinformation. The study concludes that implementing tabayyun values can serve as a foundation for ethical consumerism and digital literacy. It is recommended that Qur’anic principles be more actively integrated into media and advertising ethics to establish a marketplace founded on honesty, trust, and responsibility

    Ecological Kufr in Modern Era: A Thematic Interpretation and Its Enviromental Implications

    The increasingly worrying ecological crisis demands a re-reflection of spiritual values and environmental ethics in Islam. The Qur\u27an teaches the principle of balance (mizan) and man\u27s responsibility as a caliph in managing nature. This study seeks to analyze the concept of ecological kufr in the Qur\u27an through the study of several verses that mention environmental damage (fasad fi al-ard) and denial of Allah\u27s favor. The analysis was carried out by examining the meaning of the verse contextually and intertextually through an approach of interpretation and ecotheological reflection. The study results show that destructive behavior towards nature is a tangible form of theological denial, which brings moral and spiritual consequences to human life. This research confirms the importance of revitalizing revelation-based environmental ethics to answer modern ecological challenges. Thus, the Qur\u27an can be a normative foundation for building environmental awareness and sustainable conservation strategies

    The Qur\u27an and Javanese Culture Acculturation: The Case of Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah in Blitar District

    This research is motivated by the widespread belief and practice of traditional ceremonies such as the Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah among the community. This phenomenon is intriguing to study, especially in the modern era where rationality predominates and such customs are gradually being supplanted by technology. The study examines the role of the Qur\u27an in the cultural acculturation of Javanese society through the Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah tradition in Lodoyo Culture, Blitar District. The author uses a qualitative approach focusing on interaction analysis, and the research explores how the Quran influences and interprets this culturally and spiritually rich local context. The Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah tradition uniquely synthesizes Islamic values and Javanese cultural heritage. The Qur\u27an serves as a spiritual guide in this ceremony and as a guardian and enhancer of religious identity and cultural values within the Lodaya community. The results demonstrate that the acculturation of Islamic teachings and Javanese traditions in Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah enriches the understanding of religion and strengthens communal solidarity and collective identity. This study emphasizes the importance of cultural integration in religious contexts to preserve and develop rich local traditions. This article asserts that Jamasan Gong Kyai Pradah is a tangible example of how religion can synergize with culture in dynamic harmony. This integration not only enriches the community\u27s spiritual life but also supports inclusive social development and fosters respect for cultural diversity in Indonesia

    Occultist in Islam and Christianity (Comparative Studies of the Qur\u27an and Bible)

    This study examines the concept of occultism. Here, the author focuses on the two religions, Islam and Christianity, because both are the most followed religions in Indonesia, so they significantly impact the understanding of the Occult in society. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this paper is the views of Islam and Christianity in understanding the Occult and the differences and similarities between Islam and Christianity in narrating the Occult in their holy books, both the Qur\u27an and the Bible. This research is qualitative, library research that accumulates documentation data. The comparative study used in this article aims to analyze the differences and similarities in the narratives of Islam and Christianity in understanding the Occult. The results of this study are: First, in the Qur\u27an, occult events occur in the event of the prophet Musa (Q.S. Al-A\u27raf: 109-120), where there is mention of the word magic, witch. In the Bible, the term occult is not explicitly found, but as in 1 Cor. 8:4-7 regarding the rejection of meat sacrificed to idols, for there is no God but God. Second, there is a difference between the terms in the Qur\u27an and the Bible about the Occult. The Qur\u27an mentions magic, while the Bible is another Allah that claims to understand an object or to bind himself to an angel. The similarities between Islam and Christianity both agree with the rejection of the Occult

    Perebutan Ruang Doktrinasi Hadis Isbāl NU dan Salafi pada New Media

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kontestasi pemahaman hadis isbāl Nahdlatul Ulama dan Islam Salafi di website NU Online dan Muslim.Or.Id. Seperti halnya al-Qur’an teks multitafsir, hadis juga dapat dipahami berbeda meskipun mutn al-hadiṡ dan transmisinya (sanad) sama. Terkhusus oleh entitas Islam (NU dan Islam Salafi) yang berbeda cita-cita dan doktrin. Seiring waktu, Nahdlatul Ulama dan Salafi tidak sebatas dakwah tatap muka (offline), tetapi merambah media baru yakni di situs NU Online dan Muslim.Or.Id. Melalui penelitian kualitatif dengan basis data kepustakaan, terdapat dua hasil bentuk kontestasi NU dan Salafi dalam memahami hadis isbāl di situs masing-masing; Pertama, menjaga norma; haram atau makruh, dan Kedua, upaya melegitimasi kelompok. NU Online sebagian besar mengambil sumber referensi dari ulama mazhab Syafi’iyyah dan membandingkan pendapat antar mazhab. Alhasil, NU memilih pendapat yang membolehkan isbāl jika bukan khuyala’. Sedangkan Muslim.Or.Id memuat pendapat ulama Hanabilah dan Malikiyyah yang mengharamkan isbāl secara total, baik khuyala’ maupun tidak

    Intertekstual Angelika Neuwirth membuka wawasan baru tentang hubungan al-Qur’an dengan teks-teks suci Bible yang telah ada dalam periode late-antiquity, sebuah tawaran yang menyempurnakan intertekstual orientalis sebelumnya yang terjebak dalam perbandingan codex. Asumsi yang dia bangun untuk melakukan intertekstualitasnya adalah menganggap al-Qur’an sebagai dokumen proklamasi kenabian yang komunikatif, asumsi ini menekankan kepada perkembangan narasi bukan riwayat sabab al-nuzūl. Berdasarkan paradigma tersebut, model intertekstual Neuwirth berimplikasi terhadap pemaknaan al-Qur’an. Maka artikel ini hendak mengritisi proses intertekstual Neuwirth dan meneliti implikasinya terhadap pemaknaan al-Qur’an. Dengan demikian artikel ini terkategori sebagai penelitain kualitatif bersumber data-data pustaka, menggunakan sumber primer dari karya Neuwirth The Qur’an: Text and Commentary, Vol. 1: Early Meccan Surah-Poetic Prophecy dengan batasan Q.S. al-’Alaq (96): 1-2 sebagai sampelnya, dan sumber sekunder dari referensi terkait topik artikel ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis. Hasil yang ditemukan ialah intertekstual ala Neuwirth berimplikasi secara signifikan terhadap pemaknaan leksikal lafaz iqra‘ dan ’alaq, serta berpengaruh terhadap konteks surah secara keseluruhan

    Facing FoMO through Prophetic Wisdom: Hadith-Based Strategies for Digital Calm

    The phenomenon of FoMO has become increasingly common in today’s digital era. It negatively affects mental health by causing anxiety, restlessness, and fear of being left behind in trends, information, or social experiences. This article examines FoMO through the lens of the Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths, which offer spiritual and moral guidance in Islam. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, this study reviews Islamic literature especially hadith collections and relevant scholarly works. The analysis centers on the values of contentment , patience , trust in God, asceticism, modesty, and how these teachings can be applied in modern contexts. The study finds that these values help reduce the negative impact of FoMO, build stronger mental and spiritual resilience, and support emotional well-being. In conclusion, the moral wisdom contained in the hadith offers meaningful solutions to preserve mental health and inner peace amid the fast-paced, competitive nature of today’s digital world.

    Konsep Media dalam Q.S. An-Naml Ayat 29-31 dan Implikasinya bagi Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran PAI

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali konsep medie dalam Q.S. An-Naml ayat 29-31 dari berbagai kitab tafsir disertai dengan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran PAI. Media merupakan salah satu komponen yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam proses pendidikan. Al-Quran sebagai pedoman hidup dalam hal ini telah mengisyaratkan adanya konsep media pembelajaran dalam isinya. Salah satu ayat yang mengisyaratkan konsep media ialah Q.S. An-Naml ayat 29-31. Penelitian ini mengkaji ayat tersebut dari rujukan lima kitab tafsir sebagai referensi utama dan jurnal serta referensi lainnya sebagai referensi sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ayat tersebut mengindikasikan bahwasannya media pembelajaran harus dibuat dengan memperhatikan beberapa hal, yaitu: diawali dengan nama Allah, sebaiknya dilengkapi dengan identitas pemateri yang akan menyampaikan, adanya isi materi pelajaran yang mengajarkan kebaikan, menggunakan konten yang indah, tertata rapi, isinya singkat dan jelas, menggunakan bahasa yang lemah lembut, tidak diiringi cercaan atau cacian, menarik perhatian, dan tidak diiringi dengan muatan materi yang melukai orang yang melihatnya
