    Analysis of The Application of Multicultural Education in Islamic Schools Based on Islamic Boarding Schools

    Multicultural education is a bridge in achieving the common life of humankind from various cultures in a global era full of new challenges. Intercultural meetings can have the potential to benefit but at the same time cause misunderstanding. Educational equality, and dedication become the foundation of multicultural education in the educational experience so that all students can realize all their full potential and make them aware of people who are aware and active locally, nationally and globally. The culture of Islamic boarding school is an activity that is applied by the kyai and is adhered to by the students as well as being a characteristic tailored to the policy of the Islamic boarding school. based on a library search for analyzing the application of multicultural education in Islamic boarding schools based on interviews with clerics, teachers and students to get valid data. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The research subjects were 150 students, aged 15-19 years who provided research data through interviews, surveys and documentation with triangulation data processing to obtain valid research results

    This research is to find out the implementation of bahtsul masail in Fathul Ulum boarding school Jombang, the students’ critical thinking of fiqh, and the implementation of bahtsul masail in increasing the critical thinking of ulya class students in the subjects fiqh of worship. This research is a descriptive qualitative method using a case study design, about how the implementation of Bahtsul Masail in increasing the critical thinking of ulya class students in fiqh worship subjects. The results of research show that: 1) the implementation of bahtsul masail is held once a week on bahtsul masail sughra and once a month in bahtsul masail Kubra. 2) Students’ critical thinking in fiqh subjects is seen when students can describe the problem, criticize the problem and provide answers in accordance with the problems proposition, especially religious jurisprudence issue occurs in the community. 3) The implementation of bahtsul masail at the Fathul Ulum Jombang has increased; students have begun to be critical of the problems arround them. The form of implementation has been carried out in Fathul Ulum Jombang is about the issue of ablution, prayer, and so on

    The quality of education in schools is influenced by many factors, including the contribution of the principal as a leader that determines whether or not the educational goals achieved at the institution he leads, and the performance of teachers who determine the success of the educational process at school. This study aims to determine whether the improvement of school quality is dominated by the principal managerial contributions and teacher performance, or there are other factors that more strongly influence the improvement of the quality of education in SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected by a questionnaire involving 43 respondents and then analyzed by multiple regression statistical analysis. The quantitative method as an approach in data analysis is to use SPSS version 17.0 tools. The results of the study and data analysis showed that the managerial variable of principals partially had an effect of 0.944 which meant that there was a strong influence of the managerial variables of principals on improving quality, which was 94.4%. Furthermore, teacher performance variables have an effect of 0.937, which means that 93.7% of teacher performance contributes or significantly influences the quality of education at SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. Simultaneously, the contribution of influence given by the managerial variables of school principals and teacher performance to quality improvement was 96.8%, while another 3.2% was influenced by other variables in SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. This means that, managerial principals and teacher performance contribute greatly to improving the quality of education in SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan

    Language learning is the most unique part of learning, especially foreign languages ??as learning and in this language is Arabic. The curriculum in a learning is very influential on the level of success of students. This study examines Arabic in terms of curriculum, because researchers consider this very important for the continuity of learning foreign languages, especially Arabic so that learning can be carried out optimally and optimally. In this case the researchers conducted research at one of the tertiary institutions in Bojonegoro namely STAI Attanwir. The researcher found that there were several elements in the language learning curriculum that had to be improved, among others, from the learning media and textbooks, as well as the learning system that caused students to not be able to receive lessons to the maximum.     School and community are two inseparable things. The community needs schools to educate their children, while schools need the community to support their vision and mission. Therefore the management of school relations with the community (public relations) is an effort of the school to increase good cooperation between schools and the community. This study aims to analyze the implementation of public relations management in schools in increasing the role of school committees. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a type of case study. The results showed that public relations management carried out by schools properly,could increase the role of school committees. The optimal role of the school committee can be to increase effective communication between the school and the guardians of students and can support the implementation of school programs so that educational goals will be easier to achieve

    Schools with pesantren basis now is for integrating public education with pesantren. This study examines the pesantren-based PAI curriculum model integrates the curriculum into a national standard PAI curriculum. This is a head master effort as a leader who conducts two curriculums that is national and pesantren curriculum. The aim is in order to create a strong and superior generation in the fields of IMTAQ, science and technology development, and morality. PAI collaborated with pesantren subjects, is in accordance with national and pesantren curriculum. Pesantren curriculum is including Nahwu Shorof, Arabic, SKI and Kedaruluman, Aqidah-Akhlak, Fiqh, Qur'an Hadith, Tajwid. All of these are combined with descriptions of the books in the pesantren. Besides religious application programs including Reading Al-qu'an, such practices activites as tahlil, istighosah and dhuha. From the research results, the researcher recommends the Religion and national education ministry to provide training for teachers about the model integrated learning, especially for the institutions under the pesantren, then the school principals have to strive to integrate the pesantren curriculum into formal schools

    This study discusses the form of parent schools that answer global problems in children's education at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact and evaluate of the innovation development program of parent schools in creating the golden triangle of institutions carried out in the Pondodk Pesantren At-Thoyyibah Sukodono Sidoarjo. Data collection has been done through observation, interviews and analysis of documents from several sources. Based on the results of data analysis, the results show that the innovation development program of the parent school refers to the quality accreditation that the institution has, the hope of being formed is to be able to connect the golden triangle chain, namely school, parents and students. The parent school activities that are carried out are recitation/memorization of the Qur'an using the Wafa method, discussion of child development, parenting material, outbound, social gathering, and hobbies. The supporting factors of this program are good management support, and supporting school resources, while the inhibiting factor is that there are still many very busy parents who have not been able to take part in parental school activities to the fullest. To overcome this, several efforts have been made, namely by applying parenting every one year twice

    Based on observations and documentation, it is found that in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Singosari Malang in the last three years the number of students has decreased. From 2016 with a number of students totaling 180 people, decreased in 2017 to 160 people and in 2018 to 150 students. This phenomenon is the focus of the problem so this research aims to analyze the role of the headmaster of the Muhammadiyah 4 Junior High School in Singosari Malang in improving the quality of education through school-based management. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Muhammadiyah 4 Junior High School Singosari was used as the object of research. The results of the study stated that: 1) The headmaster of Muhammadiyah 4 Junior High School had performed the managerial task well. The planning aspect is done by placing the human resources of educators according to their competencies. In the aspect of implementation and supervision the school principal is fully responsible. In the aspect of administration evaluation done well, but in the aspect of indicators, it has not been clearly determined in each semester / year. 2) There are two obstacles experienced by school principals, namely non-permanent human resources in schools and infrastructure facilities especially the PAI laboratory for the means of knowledge and development of PAI in schools
