A case report of constitutional erythroid hypoplasia (Josephs-Blackfan-Diamond Type) with immunodeficiency].
Get PDFapplication/pdf先天性赤芽球癆(Josephs-Blackfan-Diamond type) と免疫不全症候群とを合併したきわめて稀な症例に対して,齲蝕治療とその後の歯科的健康管理を行った。初診時は8歳で,生後3ヵ月以降,現在まで切れ目なく副腎皮質ホルモン剤を服用しており,精神発達遅滞と著しい発育障害が認められた。液血液検査では, 血色素量1 3. 6 g / d l , ヘマトクリット4 1 % で, 貧血状態は改善されていたが, 免疫グロブリンは全クラスとも測定可能量を認めなかった。O K T 3 は9 0 % , O K T 4は35.4%,OKT8は52.2%で,cytotoxic/suppressor T cellが優位であった。初診時の主訴は,下顎右側第一大臼歯の感染に起因する自発痛で,他にも治療を要する齲蝕が6歯あった。口腔清掃状態は不良であったが,歯肉および口腔粘膜には著しい病変は認められなかった。精神発達遅滞による不協力が著しかったので,全身麻酔下にて齲蝕治療を行った。その後は,リコール・システムにより歯科的健康管理を行い,良好な経過をみている。1年5ヵ月後(9歳10ヵ月)の側貌頭部X線規格写真では,上下顎前歯の歯軸傾斜に関しては,異常が認められなかったが,骨格的には上下顎の劣成長が認められた。手および手根骨X線写真では,骨成熟度の著しい遅れを認めた。1年8ヵ月後(10歳1ヵ月)に行った模型分析の結果,上下顎とも歯列弓幅径は小さい値を示していた。上下顎の劣成長と骨成熟度の遅延には,副腎皮質ホルモン剤の副作用も関与しているものと考えられた。journal articl
プラズマ溶射インプラントの周囲組織についての組織学的観察
Get PDFapplication/pdfTitanium alloy blade-vent implants are generally used for endosseous implants. Recently, hydroxyapatite ceramics are also used for endosseous implants in some cases. The hydroxyapatite-coated implant system developed by us was the most successful endosseous implant system of those developed in 1981. The implant material used for this system was produced by coating titanium plates with a mixture of 80% hydroxyapatite and 20% aluminum oxide powder. In the present study, we tested this implant system in dogs. Five inbred male beagle dogs were used. More than 3 months prior to implantation, the mandibular premolar teeth were extracted bilaterally under general anesthesia. Implants on the right side of the mandible in each animal were left untouched for 3 months. Thin sections were made with a sawing microtome in the bucco-lingual direction transverse to the long axis of the implants. Histological evaluation was done with a SEM and a light microscope using transverse and reflecting light. The results were as follows; 1) Radiographically, a radiolucent layer was found around the implant in metal or aluminum ceramics implant cases. In hydroxyapatite coated implants, however, there was an indistinct boundary between the implant and the alveolar bone. 2) Histophathologically, there was implant-bone contact in hydroxyapatite coated implants. No soft tissue was present between the implant and the alveolar bone. In the implant-bone contact, the healing bone was in close contact with the implant. The coating layer and the healing bone appeared to bind chemically at the interface. These results suggest that these implants were well tolerated by bone tissue and stimulated osteogenic activity around the implant. Complementary basic studies on the clinical use of hydroxyapatite coated implants are critical to the long-term success of this approach.journal articl
舌に神経線維腫を伴ったvon Recklinghausen病の1例
Get PDFapplication/pdfVon Recklinghausen's disease is an autosomal dominant characteristic syndrome including cutaneous pigmentation, neurofibromatosis, soft tissue hypertrophy and abnormalities of skeleton. The present report is a case of von Recklinghausen's disease, observed in a 53-year-old man, which is accompanied by multiple neurofibromas, pigmentation of skin and mild scoliosis. On examination, neurofibroma was located in the midline of the dorsum just anterior to the circumvallate papillae of the tongue. 2.0 cm vertical incision over the tumor through the mucosa and blunt dissection exposed the entire tumor. It was easily freed from the surrounding tissue and enucleated. Healing proceeded well without evidence of recurrence. We discussed the case with reference to literature concerning oral lesions over the last twenty years.journal articl

Get PDFapplication/pdfAminopeptidase P (EC 3.4.11.9) specifically hydrolyses the peptide bond between Xaa and Pro residues of Xaa-Pro-Yaa-peptides (Xaa and Yaa are nonspecific amino acids). A new method for the determination of aminopeptidase P activity using Gly-Pro-Hyp as the substrate was described. Enzymatically formed Pro-Hyp from the substrate in the assay mixture was chromatographically separated by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and determined the absorbance of the peptide at 210 nm. Using this method the activities in rat serum and kidney microsomal fractions were determined.journal articl
