Full text linkMeaningfulness Of Life For Social Workers At Disability Unit Of S Foundation In Yogyakarta.Working as a social worker in the social sector is very challenging. The existence of various types of disabilities causes difficulties, both in adapting and communicating. Meanwhile, the financial amount received is inadequate. Research related to social workers is still limited because people are also unfamiliar with the profession of social worker. The study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach which aims to reveal the meaning of life of social workers at S foundation and factors that infuence it. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using content analysis and validated through member check technique. The manifestation of the meaning of life in social workers is reflected in the freedom of will to choose and carry out work according to their passion, without being controlled by factors outside themselves. They hold on to their choice even though their job requires them to make a lot of sacrifices without adequate financial rewards so that their families and communities perceive their job status as volunteering. Internal factors that affect the meaning of life are personality and appreciation and belief in work, while external factors consist of social support and work values

Full text linkDemocratic Parenting style and Interpersonal Skills In the Middle Phase of Child Development. This study aims to determine the effect of democratic parenting on children's interpersonal skills. Quantitative research methods used in this study, research instruments in the form of a scale, democratic parenting scale and interpersonal skills scale. Determination of the research sample using purposive random sampling technique with the final number of subjects 59 children aged 9-11 years. The results obtained R2=0.350 and a correlation coefficient of 0.000 (p <0.050) meaning that this research hypothesis is accepted, democratic parenting has a positive influence on interpersonal skills, the effective contribution of democratic parenting contributes 45.3% to children's interpersonal skills. The conclusion of this study has a positive influence between democratic parenting of parents on children's interpersonal skills. The subject's perception of democratic parenting is in the high category and the subject's interpersonal skills are in the medium category

Tunggal Jaya Plastik IndustryIn the midst of a pandemic situation that is still ongoing today, it certainly has an impact on the health sector, the economic sector, and the industrial sector itself. The aims this study to determine the dynamic of work employees motivation of PT Tunggal Jaya Plastic Industry. This study uses a qualitative case study method with content analysis techniques and uses triangulation of sources, data, investigators and member checking to validated data. The subjects in this study were three men and one woman who met the criteria, aged 25-60 years, lives in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. The method to collect data are non structured interviews and observations non participant. In addition, researchers also conducted documentation to complete the data. The results of this study are found an overview of how the dynamic work motivation of employees of PT Tunggal Jaya Plastic. Tend to experience changes ranging from changes in responsibilities, work effectiveness, appreciation to employees, discipline at work, conflicts between employees, anxiety about pandemic situations, employee commitment, work relations, and employee gratitude

Full text linkRole Caregiver Social Support andReligiosity with Hardiness among Adolescents in Orphanages.Adolescents are burdened by problems of friendship, school and family pressures. This makes adolescents become stressed or depressed so that they need strong personality attributes including hardiness.This study aims to examine the relationship between caregiver social support and religiosity with hardiness in adolescents in orphanages. This study uses a quantitative method with a scale as a tool for data collection. The number of subjects in this study were 64 teenagers who lived at the Muhammadiyah Putra Orphanage in Yogyakarta. There are three scales used, namely the hardiness scale, caregiver social support and religiosity. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results of the data analysis showed a very significant relationship between caregiver social support and religiosity with hardiness. The higher the caregiver's social support, the higher the hardiness and vice versa. The higher the religiosity, the higher the hardiness and vice versa. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a very significant relationship between social support from caregivers and religiosity with hardiness in adolescents in orphanages.Â

Full text linkPeer Support, School Well-Being, Student Engagement at Student SMP X Denpasar during Pandemic Covid-19The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between peer support and school well-being with student engagement during covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a quantitative approach with measuring instruments on the peer support scale, school well-being scale, and student engagement scale. The research subjects were 99 students of JHS students. The data were analysis technique in this study used multiple regression analysis and partial correlation with SPP 24.0 for windows. The result of analysis obtained R of 0.746 with significance level of 0.000 (p > 0.05) meaning that there is a very significant relationship between peer support and school well-being with student engagement. The results of the analysis can be concluded that there is a very significant relationship between peer support, school well-being, and student engagement in junior high school students during covid-19 pandemic with an effective contribution of 55.7%

This study was qualitative and descriptive. The primary data sources in this study were students’ perceptions of their efficacy. Data collection was conducted through interviews with the final students as research subjects. Validation technique using triangulation. The results of the study, first final semester students have low self-efficacy and high self-confidence, second factors that influence student self-efficacy are lack of experience in mastering something, and social model modeling social persuasion

Full text linkEmotional Intelligence andan Organizational citizenship behavior On Hospital NursesThe research aims to find out the relation between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior. The subjects of this study were nurses at Private Hospital in Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection using quantitative methods. Data collection uses organizational citizenship behavior scale and emotional intelligence scale. The data analysis technique used is Pearson's product moment correlation with the help of the computer program SPSS version 17.00 for Window. Product moment correlation analysis resulted (r) of 0.659 with a significance level of 0.000 with p <0.001 which means that there is a very significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the correlation coefficient between emotional intelligence variables and organizational citizenship behavior indicates that the hypothesis can be accepted, where the higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the organizational citizenship behavior, and the lower the organizational intelligence, the lower the organizational citizenship behavior. Emotional intelligence contributes 32.15% to organizational citizenship behavior

No full textThe Role of Self-Control and Lifestyle on Consumptive Behavior in College Students During a Pandemic Shopee Application Users Many people enjoy the convenience of online shopping transactions, especially during the pandemic. However, this also has negative impacts, such as wasteful behavior. This study examines the relationship between self-control and lifestyle with consumptive behavior in female students. A total of 159 female students who use the Shopee application participated in this study. Data collection uses a consumptive behavior scale, a self-control scale, and a lifestyle scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The analysis results show a very significant relationship between self-control and lifestyle with consumptive behavior. Next, there was a very significant negative relationship between self-control and consumptive behavior. Lifestyle has a significant positive relationship with consumptive behavior. Simultaneously, self-control and lifestyle contributed 39.4% to consumptive behavior. Lifestyle contributes more to consumptive behavior than self-control. This research has implications for the need to observe a wiser and more positive lifestyle in buying behavior to reduce the tendency of wasteful behavior
Hardiness dan Dukungan Sosial Orang Tua dengan Academic Stress di SMK Negeri 1 Way Panji
Full text linkHardiness and Social Support of Parents with Academic Stress at SMK Negeri 1 Way Panji This study aims to examine the relationship between hardiness and parental social support with student academic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 1 Way Panji. The method used is correlational quantitative with a sample of 79 students. Data analysis using multiple regression processed using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results of the analysis of the major hypotheses show that there is a very significant relationship between hardiness and parental social support with academic stress. The score R = 0.569 with p value = 0.000 (p < 0.01). The results of the first minor hypothesis analysis show that there is a very significant negative relationship between hardiness and academic stress, if parents' social support is controlled, with a score of r= -0.406, p= 0.000 (p<0.01). The results of the second minor hypothesis analysis show that there is no relationship between parental social support and academic stress. By controlling for hardiness, the score r= -0.026, p= 0.821 (p>0.05). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that hardiness and social support are jointly correlated with academic stress. However, after analyzing the correlational test for each independent variable by controlling for other variables, the result is that only hardiness has a correlation with academic stress
