    Parenting patterns of Vocational High School Students: A case study at Setia Bhakti Vocational High School in Tangerang City

    This research was motivated by problems regarding parenting, difficulties in directing children to study because they get bored easily, difficulty dividing time between work and helping children when studying and difficulty in dealing with children using gadgets. This research aims to determine the parenting patterns obtained by Setia Bhakti Vocational School students and the impact obtained from parental care. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects were students of Setia Bhakti Vocational School, Tangerang City, class XI majoring in accounting who were taking online learning. Based on the data obtained, the pandemic has changed the parenting style provided by parents, where parents are not only involved in helping their children learn at home but also have to provide learning support facilities. Apart from that, working parents also have to divide their time between work and their children's needs during the online learning process. Not only that, parents must also monitor their child's development so that it does not decline and make the learning atmosphere enjoyable

    The Contribution of Mahabbah to Academic Stress Levels Students

    Kontribusi Mahabbah terhadap Tingkat Stres Akademik Mahasiswa Everyone has problems, including students. Students can experience academic stress due to the pressure in college. Islam says stress occurs if someone is far from Allah, it makes a feeling of heaviness because there's no way out of problems in his life. To handle this problem it needs to improve mahabbah with Allah to feel closeness with God who created and determined his destiny. This study determines mahabbah's contribution to academic stress at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students. This research is quantitative with a simple linear regression model analysis. The population in this research is 10.857 active undergraduate students at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin with a sample 340 students. Data collection uses mahabbah and academic stress scale with a Likert Scale. The sampling technique is probability sampling. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The result showed a significant contribution of mahabbah to academic stress at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students

    Subjective well-being examined from sincerity and gratitude among cleaning service personnel

    Cleaning service roles hold a low position within an employment institution. Low wages evoke negative feelings, job dissatisfaction, and disappointment, which are characteristics of individuals with low  subjective well-being. Sincerity and gratitude are among the factors that can influence subjective well-being. This study aims to determine if there is a relationship between sincerity and gratitude concerning the subjective well-being of cleaning service personnel. This research is quantitative, utilizing scales for sincerity, gratitude, and subjective well-being. The population comprises cleaning service personnel at the Indonesian Islamic University, with a sample size of 52 individuals chosen through random sampling. The findings indicate that there is no association between sincerity and gratitude concerning subjective well-being among cleaning service personnel. Additionally, no correlation was found between sincerity and subjective well-being, nor between gratitude and subjective well-being. The study concludes that the level of sincerity and gratitude does not impact the level of subjective well-being among cleaning service personnel

    Perceived Organizational Support and Job Satisfaction as Factors in the Happiness of Police Members at Work

    Persepsi Dukungan Organisasi dan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai Faktor Kebahagiaan Anggota Polri di Tempat KerjaHappiness is one of the important things in human life, including in work life. Working without having a sense of happiness at work will have an impact on individual or organizational performance. Therefore, examining the factors that may contribute to high or low happiness at work is something that is important to study. This study aims to examine the role of perceived organizational support and job satisfaction on the happiness of Polri members at work. The population of this study were active members of the police in the working area of Indonesia with a sampling technique using quota sampling, namely as many as 400 members of the Indonesian National Police. The approach used in this study is quantitative with the correlation method. The data collection tool used the happiness scale at work, the perceived organizational support scale and the job satisfaction scale. The results of the data analysis showed that the coefficient obtained was R=0.551, F=86.494, p=0.000 (p<0.01). The findings conclude that perceived organizational support and job satisfaction have a role in the happiness of Polri members at work

    Weighing the role of self-regulation and self-concept on job search anxiety among Higher Education Graduates

    Job search anxiety in Indonesia has increased during and after the pandemic due to the ongoing economic and business situation. Internal factors are considered to be key influencers affecting this anxiety, including self-regulation and self-concept. This research aims to explore the relationship between self-regulation, self-concept, and job search anxiety among higher education graduates. The study involved 200 participants characterized by a minimum of a D3 education level, graduated between 2021-2022, and currently in the process of their first job search. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilized three scales: self-regulation scale, self-concept scale, and job search anxiety scale, analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that self-regulation and self-concept simultaneously contribute to job search anxiety. This study suggests the importance of simultaneously strengthening self-concept and self-regulation in preparing graduating students to minimize arising levels of anxiety, ultimately aiding them in achieving their desired career and job objectives

    The Sense of Humor Scale: Psychometric Studies on Banjar Ethnic Students

    Skala Kepekaan Humor (SKH): Studi Psikometrik pada Mahasiswa Etnik BanjarThe focus of this study contributes to adding reference to the psychometric property of the Sense of Humor Scale (SKH) which aims to be a culturally fair test. The type of validity used is content validity (logical type) and estimated reliability using the internal consistency method. A total of 50 Banjar ethnic students were the research subjects obtained by the convenience purposive sampling method. The reliability coefficient (alpha) for the violence component was 0.916, the annoyance component was 0.872, the parody component was 0.888 and the creativity component was 0.845. Selection of the initial 76 items of SKH resulted in 64 items that had been adjusted to the proportions of the components in the blue print, the lowest item discrimination power index (rit) was 0.281, the highest was 0.747 and the mean was 0.521. The reliability coefficient of the SKH composite score (Mosier formula) is 0.944, meaning that 94.4% is a pure score for the subject group (5.6% of the difference in the apparent score is due to variations in measurement errors). It was concluded that the results of a psychometric study of SKH in ethnic Banjar students showed empirical evidence that SKH is a valid and reliable measure of humor

    The influence of hedonic lifestyle and self-control on consumptive purchasing behavior of NCT fans in Indonesia

    The presence of K-Pop indicates that individuals tend to exhibit consumptive behavior towards themselves. This behavior arises when a fan wants to purchase items used by their idols. Unbeknownst to them, this behavior can lead to hedonic lifestyle and lack of self-control. The phenomenon of purchasing items causing consumptive behavior led to the research titled 'The Influence of Hedonic Lifestyle and Self-Control on Consumptive Purchasing Behavior of NCT (Neo Culture Technology) Fans in Indonesia.' The population in this study was 277,499 individuals found on the Twitter account @NCT_Indonesia, with a sample size of 384 people using the Accidental Sampling data collection method. The results of this study significantly show an influence on the emergence of consumptive behavior in individuals

    The role of reciprocal actions of giving and receiving support on eudaimonic workplace well-being

    Employee well-being is gaining increasing attention from various quarters. Studies related to the relationship between reciprocal actions of social support and individual well-being tend to be conducted separately. Additionally, the relationship between receiving support from colleagues and employee well-being also tends to show relatively low to moderate associations. Therefore, this research aims to examine the role of the dynamic reciprocity of social actions in well-being, through an investigation of the mediating role of organization citizenship behavior toward individuals (OCB-I) in the relationship between perceived co-worker support (PCS) and eudaimonic workplace well-being (EWWB). The research participants were active workers who had been working for a minimum of 1 year in their current organization, gathered through convenience sampling techniques. Mediation analysis results indicate that OCB-I significantly mediates the relationship between PCS and EWWB, thus supporting the hypothesis of this research. This study demonstrates the role of social interaction, particularly the dynamics of support among employees, in relation to employee well-being

    Authoritarian Parenting and Self-Concept With Emotional Maturity on Students at SMA

    Pola asuh otoriter dan konsep diri dengan kematangan emosi siswa SMA Adolescence is considered an emotionally difficult time. This is because teenagers who ignore many stimuli can cause emotional outbursts. Adolescents with mature emotions give a stable emotional reaction, not changing from one feeling or mood to another. Emotional maturity in adolescents is necessary to get parental attention, especially what happens in adolescents. This study examines the relationship between authoritarian parenting and self-cothe ncept of passionate matmaterial students SMA Negeri 4 Tanjungpinang. The method used in this study is quantitative. The variables in the study were measured using the emotional maturity scale, authoritarian parenting scale, and self-concept. The population in the study were students of class XI at SMA Negeri 4 Tanjungpinang. The sample of this study was 82 students at SMA Negeri 4 Tanjungpinang obtained through a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 22.0 for Windows. The result of data analysis showed: (1) there is a very significant relationship between authoritarian parenting and selself-concept with emotional maturity in students, (2) there is a very substantial negative relationship between authoritative parenting and emotional maturity in students, (3) there is a very substantial positive relationship between self-concept and emotional maturity on students. This study concludes that there is a relationship between authoritarian parenting and self-concept and emotional maturity in students

    The Impact of Cyber Bullying on Adolescent Mental Health and Implementation of Pancasila Values as an Effort to Prevent Cyber Bullying.The growing developments in information technology that follow the advances of the age certainly affect the lives, habits, and patterns of human behavior especially when surfing social networks are influenced by many factors. This rapid social media development has generated some negative effects, one of the more negative effects being bullying behaviors that are initiated from negative comments and occur continuously that are necessary for social media ethics. The study has been conducted to identify the cyber bullying and the implementation of pancasila values in daily life by using qualitative methods with the study of literature tools that study and discuss cyber bullying among the popular youth, and the completion that can be made against the control of pancasila values.
