Proposed Improvements in The Management of Organizational Culture Change (A Case Study at Yayasan XYZ Bandung)
Abstract. Yayasan XYZ is an International Non-Profit Organization that specializes in children development through sponsorship, dedicated to releasing children from poverty. The culture and value system play a major role in how an organization reacts to change and organization members are more inclined to embrace change when the organization’s culture is aligned with the mission and goals of the organization.  One of the approaches in managing organizational change is using Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model. By following the 8 Step Process outlined by Professor Kotter, organizations can avoid failure and become adept at change. Organizations can increase their chances of success, both today and in the future by improving their ability to change. The author analyze how to implement the desired culture relate to values in the organization. All analyses and solutions use Organizational Change method and 7-S McKinsey. Based on the analysis and recommendation of solutions, Yayasan XYZ must prioritize the development to the style, staff, skills, system and work strategy in accordance with the organization’s existing values. Another recommendation on the approaches to managing organizational change, especially in Yayasan XYZ should be using both Kotter’s 8-Step Model and Organizational Development (OD). Keywords: change management, organizational culture, 7-S, Kotter’s 8-Step change mode
Expansion Strategy PT. Crown Pratama to Competitive Packaging Market of Bali
Abstract – PT. Crown Pratama is a packaging company for the needs of hotel, restaurant and cafe. they want to expand to Bali because the amazing growth of hotels, restaurants and cafes. Besides the competitive packaging competition in Bali has a market leader, PT. Crown Pratama should have a strategy in order to grab and increase the sells unit. The right attack strategy is needed in order to attack the main competitor. The objective of the final project is to know key success factors and appropriate attack strategy for PT. Crown Pratama in Bali. Business exploration is done by define internal and external analysis. Internal analysis tool is used SWOT analysis, while external analysis tool is used Porter’s Five Forces. Strategy is formulated by conducting a simple qualitative method market research in order to get the key success factors. The result of interviewed 10 customers from different industry segment are 6 key success factors. Company and competitor characteristic are also determined to know the strength and weakness of both. The result of this research are suggested company to use flanking attack as appropriate attack strategy for PT. Crown Pratama because there is already a strong market leader in Bali. Designing Internal Audit Rating for Evaluating The Implementation of Risk Management and Internal Control at PT Bank BNI Syariah
Abstract—Under Law 10 of 1998 on the Amendment of Act No. 7 of 1992 Article 29, every bank in Indonesia are required to have and implement a system of internal control in order to guarantee the implementation of the decision-making process in the management of the bank in accordance with the precautionary principle. Therefore, since the BNI Syariah spin off the Internal Audit Division (IAD) was formed in June 2010 for internal control function. IAD BNI Syariah Division has oversight directly and indirectly to all of these areas and produce a qualitative audit report. That why the audit report are not comparable either by the auditee or per audit period. In addition it is sometimes difficult to conclude the qualitative audit reports that will impact on decision making erroneous. This project aims to provide a model of the proposed Internal Audit Rating (IAR) as a tool to calculate the final measurement of the quantitative audit results. There are two main components of IAR which is assessment criteria and weighting of each of the criteria. In determining the major components of IAR, survey, observation and literature review are conducted to find the calculations model in accordance with the needs of BNI Syariah. Research conducted indicates that IAD Related parties need IAR for their stated objectives. Criteria and weights used in the calculation of the IAR is Risk Management (30%), Internal Control (25%), Auditee Performance (15%), Sharia Compliance (20% ) and Audit findings Follow-up (10%). Operational Risk Management Case and Proposed Action Plan to Support Business Continuity at PT. Freeport Indonesia
Abstract- Internal and external environmentalsituation changes and the company experienced  rapid growth followedby the increasing complexity of risk and its uncertainty in the operational activities undertaken by the company. This final project will focus on the issue of managing thepotentialriskof people at PT Freeport Indonesia, which could have an impact on mining activities and the delay resulted in the cessation of production activities as well as a reduction in the production of normal production capacity. Risks that have been and will be faced by PT Freeport  Indonesia can be affectingto Business Continuityin the futureand also could affect the potential problems and risks that might appear, therefore,to minimize any potential risks that may arise in the operational  activities,this  paper  will focus on how to implement the  Operational Risk Management  by emphasizing to people risk in regards to minimize and preventrisk to the operational activitiesof the company. The research comprisesof an analysis of the existing literature within the scope of Operational Risk Management and exploration of Risk Managementpractice that has beenapplied in the PT FreeportIndonesia today. The research approach is also through by benchmarking  against practices of Operational Risk Management at the company that has implemented  so in order to find and assess best practices that can be applied to the PT Freeport Indonesia. New Marketing Strategy Proposal for Train Restaurant Activities Managed by PT Reska Multi Usaha
Abstract. PT. Reska Multi Usaha is one of the subsidiaries of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) that focused on giving the service of restaurant on the train. As the company that responsible for the service on train, PT. Reska didn’t change much every years, that is why some of the sales is decreasing in some area. The issue also followed by new problem from system organization of preparation work inside the company that can lead to train delay schedule. To analyze the root cause of the problem that PT Reska faced the three analyses is being conducted; there are external analysis, internal, and customer analysis. After all the analysis the result that causing the decreasing sale in PT Reska is causes by four problem, that are unfocused customer condition, different perception, habitual buyer, and no promotion. After all the analysis, the recommendation that being proposed is modified the STP and marketing mix and based on all the analysis and the recommendation, the implementation plan also made to help the company to calculate the resource and timeline in implementing the proposed solution.  Keywords: Train Restaurant, Food Industry, Marketing Strategy.Â
Proposed Marketing Strategy of Streaming TV Service to Increase Customer in Bandung City (Case Study: UseeTV Mobile at PT Telkom)
Abstract— Recent fast paced of the technology development, especially in mobile device and broadband technology, has created a new demand about type of entertainment that can be accessed anywhere and anytime. PT Telkom Indonesia, as one of the biggest telecommunication provider in Indonesia, as respond to this new opportunity, developing UseeTV a new streaming entertainment services. UseeTV first launched to the market on August 2012. Although it’s still on introduction, the company has stated a target to have 1 million users on April 2013. But unfortunately, up until the due month the target is still not achieved. Finding the root cause of the problem is important by analyzing 5C method, analyzing the consumer behavior along with analysis of marketing strategy that has been created by the company. The analysis shows that there are three main factors causing the issues: low brand awareness, weak value proposition, and not align product targeting and product offered. To solve the problem, an appropriate and interesting marketing strategy needed. Solutions formulated aim to increase the number of UseeTV users. To overcome problem related to weak value proposition of the service, proposed an increasing on more interesting content according to customers’ needs and wants. Besides, a new STP strategy formulated to develop appropriate marketing strategy. A deeper analysis using factor analysis method is performed to know more about several kinds of factors that could affect customer preference on using the streaming TV services. Implementation of Customer Relationship Management for Quality Improvement Management at "Bima Workshop"
Abstract. “Bima Workshop†which concern in reparation of engine, certainly the customer service satisfaction must be given main focus by the company. This company has always want to provide the best quality of service but it all can not be separated terms of performance are often unefficiency and uneffectiveness of the process and this can lead to high cost. Based from the  interview by top management of “Bima Workshop†obtained  is often gets complains from customer about the duration of process and the high price of the unit, so it will be do performed analyzes and implementation to improve of the service quality in terms of process and human resources. Analysis is generally done by analysis the benefits of a product (service) and then performed mapping to the customer window who have 4 quadrants (attention, bravo, cut, don’t worry be happy).To find out the root cause of the problem , then analyzed the causal diagram identifying factors that can cause problems with using criteria 7M factors ( manpower , methods , materials , machinery , media and work environment, motivation and money ). To evaluate the performance of the productive commitment to the company, the CRM analysis is divided into 7 categories with the percentage 66.53 % for category 1 ( good ) , category 2 75.43 % ( good ) , category 3 67.86 % ( good ) , category 4 68.98 ( good ) , category 5 61.43 % ( good ) , category 6 48.98 ( mid ) , category 7 53.81 % ( mid ) . Then to evaluate the company's service excellence to the consumer , then the scoring for customer service evaluation and outcome scores obtained value was 41.43 ( mid ). Further analysis of the approach is the reduction of waste which has 8 kinds of criteria (defect, overproduction, waiting, not utilizing, transportation, inventories, motion and excess processing)  that is It will be used as a basis for planning the waste identification form in order to identifying and eliminate waste. Effectiveness Analysis Of Community Development Programs As A Form Of Social Mitigation Tools To Reduce Social Conflicts
Abstract. The interaction that occurs between oil and gas companies and local communities are closely related to the conflict. Conflicts often disturb the oil and gas company’s operations. Disturbances caused by conflict are not only affected the company but also will have an impact on the declining of state revenues due to the stop of production. As the second largest state revenue contribution after tax, the things that can disturb the operation of the upstream oil and gas will certainly affect the stability of the state economy. In order minimize those problems, mainly the social resistance which can lead to conflicts between the companies and the local communities, oil and gas companies implement the Community Development (CD) programs to mitigate social conflicts. This CD program is expected to effectively resolve social conflicts between companies and local communities in order to facilitate the upstream oil and gas operations. But it is necessary to study further to evaluate the relation between SR programs through the CD programs with social conflict mitigation. Therefore, by doing research on two (2) Production Sharing Contract Contractors (PSC Contractors) which are Medco E&P Rimau Asset and Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina - Medco Tomori Sulawesi, this final project is expected to provide a comprehensive evaluation on the relation of SR programs through the CD programs with social conflict mitigation. The solutions from this final project are expected to give ideas on how the PSC Contractors should pay more attention to the implementation of CD programs as a form of social conflict mitigation. The results showed that the CD programs have relations with social conflicts mitigation, the role of the CD programs in social conflict mitigation is very important, and CD programs’ improvement effort to mitigate social conflicts is very high. However, CD programs implementation must have to follow the rules and norms. The control as well as the evaluation from the SKK Migas and PSC Contractors must be carried out to avoid the ineffective CD programs implementation which could leads into the failure of reaching the objectives. Recommendations from this final project are the adjustment of the CD programs implementation business process with the guidelines of ISO 26000: Guidance on Social Responsibility and implement the award ceremony as well as the appreciation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to companies from various industry sectors in the community development efforts. Marketing Strategy of Advent hospital bandung OutPatient Departement To Increase Patient Visit
Abstract.Background: Advent Hospital Bandung is one of the well known hospital in Bandung. Had been operated since 1950, Advent Hospital Bandung had been through many great improvements in its prime time. However, Advent Hospital Bandung had forgotten to prepare and repair for the future and currently fell under a tight competition today.Method: To understand the condition in Advent Hospital Bandung Outpatient Unit, the researcher using several analysis methods that basically could be classifies as internal and external analysis. The internal analysis concluded by STP analysis, marketing mix, and research while the external was concluded by PEST and 5 forces analysis. The data later combined and used in SWOT analysis.Result and conclusion: From the SWOT analysis it is known that the Advent Hospital Bandung current internal position is weak but the external situation held many opportunities. Therefore the best suitable strategy for Advent Hospital Bandung is stability strategy by proceeding with care which can be done by improve the internal situation so that the hospital can compete for the opportunities. The internal improvement could be done by Advent Hospital Bandung is related with the root cause of the problem which are the elements of marketing mix. Two out of the seven elements had a significant effect while the others had a significant correlation to customer loyalty.Key words: Hospital, marketing strategy, loyalty, satisfaction
Intensive Strategy for Growing Competitiveness of Classico Jersey
Abstract. Classico is a company that offer clothing manufacture service. Classico established in Bandung in 2013. Classico need to create competitiveness in order to survive in clothing business. But in the first year operation of Classico, the owner faced several problems that need to be addressed. The problems are low brand awareness in consumer perspective, low quality and lack of human resources that affect the performance. To address the problems, external and internal analysis need to be conducted. The factors will be described in SWOT analysis that shows the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for Classico, and then it will be defined in EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary), IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary), and SFAS (Strategic Factor Analysis Summary).The results of EFAS & IFAS will be defined further in IE Matrix to show the position of Classico which is in IV quadrant (develop and expand). After that, to determine which is the most attractive strategy between intensive or integrative, Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis need to be done and also there will be new suggestions on segmentation, targetting, and positioning. In the last chapter, based on the business issue, there will be some conclusions and suggested alternative solutions for the implementation plan that will be implemented on Classico.
