    Analysis of Job Satisfaction, Employee Engagement and Turnover Intention at Millenia Embroidery

    Abstract. Millenia Embroidery is a company in the form of small medium enterprises (SMEs) that operates in computer embroidery services. The company receives computer embroidery services both from individuals and organizations such as garment companies, footwear companies, etc. The company has been running the business since 1993. Nowadays, there are many new players in computer embroidery industry and the company found a difficulty in retaining their employees. There were many employees joined and left within a short term so that the employee turnover rate high. This negatively impacts on the productivity of company. Therefore, the company needs a solution and improvement to retain their employees. The author conducted a field study in the form of observations, interviews with company representatives, as well as documentation of company data. Next, the author conducted an employee survey with the approach of job satisfaction and employee engagement as the concept, as well as turnover intention. These two concepts were chosen as the approach because based on previous researches frequently found that job satisfaction and employee engagement have a relationship with employees’ intention to leave the company. Result of the study revealed that the root cause of employees’ job dissatisfaction at Millenia Embroidery due to factors of employee relationship with management, compensation and benefit, and work environment. While the root cause of employee disengagement due to factors of engagement opinions, engagement behaviors, and conditions for engagement. After knowing the causes of employee dissatisfaction and disengagement in the company, the author proposed an improvement recommendation in the form of solution based on issues that have been found and implementation plan of job satisfaction and employee engagement improvement that suit company condition. Key word: Job Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Turnover Intentio

    The Impact Of Equity Research And Stock Split On Stock Liquidity And Stock Return A Study Case On Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Abstract- This research is intended to find wether equity research and stock split may create stock liquidity in Indonesia Stock Exchange, effectively. Stock liquidity is measured with liquidity ratio. Hypothesis testing is needed to prove that there are significant increase in stock liquidity after stock split or equity research conducted as well as to determine what kind of listed companies should be permitted to conduct stock split.  The results are equity research increased stock liquidity significantly, stock split increased liquidity at announcement date but it is non significant and liquidity of listed companies with higher stock prices increased significantly when they conducted stock split.   Key word: equity research, stock split, stock liquidit

    The Future of LNG in Indonesia, Opportunity Analysis of Mini LNG Plant

    Abstract.The demand for oil in the world shows significant growth and it makes world oil reserves are being reduced time after time. Even though, there are increasing in world oil reserves, but the gap between world total oil consumption and world total oil production makes those increasing oil reserves become meaningless. There are growth in domestic energy demand and create imbalance of energy supply in Indonesia, like energy supply shortage that occurred in North Sumatra, causing the electricity crisis in Medan city and its surrounding areas. With the high price of diesel that used as an energy source for the generator at PLN also in medium and large industries, gas became one of the cheap new energy to replace oil-based energy. The purpose of this journal is to analyze the opportunity of mini LNG plant in Indonesia through maximizing gas potential by doing internal and external factors analysis that can affect the development of mini LNG plant and the future of LNG in Indonesia. So not only Indonesia will have national competitive advantage but also help the future of LNG in Indonesia. To get deeper understanding of information and focus on the issue about LNG, author used qualitative methodology or qualitative data collection. The advantage of this method is its capability to provide complex descriptions of people experiences that related to specific issue. This is generally done in interviews, open-ended questions, or focus groups. Even though LNG is a risky business but there was many example of mini LNG plant that success in the world like in Australia, Brazil, China, and USA. One similarity is all the mini LNG plant aimed to meet domestic energy demand. To ensure that mini LNG plant will become profitable there are several factors must be consider like location to build it, partners to collaborate, carefully in preparing financial plan, choosing right equipment and technology also employees. To make local companies more competitive, when building LNG infrastructure every LNG business players should focusing to buy materials from the local vendor or companies and reduce the dependency on foreign vendors. Risk in LNG plant can be reduce by giving right SOP or guidance, training or specialized training for the employee and have a good human resource management.Keyword: world oil reserves, LNG, mini LNG plant, national competitive advantage, future of LNG in Indonesia.Â

    Building Equity Find Using LQ45 Stocks based on Business Cycle Issue in the period 2009-2013

    The growth of Mutual Funds in Indonesia is very rapid. This certainly has a positive influence on the Indonesian capital market. Mutual Fund is one instrument that has a quite large investment in the contribution of investment in the capital market. Referring to the Capital Market Law No. 8, 1995, article 1, paragraph (27) defined that the Mutual Fund is a vehicle used to collect funds from public investors to be invested in a portfolio of securities by the investment manager. From there, this final project provides an alternative to invest in mutual fund shares that contain any stocks that may provide better performance in the current economic conditions and how best portfolio of these stocks.In this final project, a conceptual framework is the stock selection, and composition of the portfolio return. Historical stock price data used are LQ-45. To create a portfolio, Excel Solver Ad-In is used to optimize the proportion of each stock. In addition, this study uses the business cycle as issues relating to the investment world. In different business cycles, the growing sector in general different.The approach used is the rate of profit (expected return) and the level of risk (standard deviation) generated from each portfolio are formed. Stocks are selected based on criteria are stocks in the index option LQ-45 and then projected by the method of regression for the next five years to see the performance in the future. Optimization aims to maximize portfolio returns using an efficient barrier specified, where in this thesis is the maximum return, the minimum standard deviation, beta value, and the maximum Sharpe Ratio.The conclusion of this final project is to construct optimal equity fund that can survive or perform well during periods of recession. Keywords:  mutual funds, equity fund stock selection, optimization of stock, the business cycle.Â

    Abstract. CV. Freezer Teknik is the company which engages in refrigerant industry. In the beginning, they only provide any refrigerant service, such as refrigerator, air conditioner, etc. CV. Freezer Teknik only have one factory that located in Mamuju City, West Sulawesi. Their factory already running for two and half of years, and the sales tends to stagnant. A proper strategy formulation is needed to help CV. Freezer Teknik to overcome their issues and also to expand their business, due to their stagnation.The strategy formulation is started by analyzing the external and internal environment of CV. Freezer Teknik. The Strength, Weakness, Threat and Opportunities or SWOT analysis used to create Internal Factor Analysis Summary, External Factor Analysis Summary, and TOWS Matrix analysis. According to the forecast demand and capacity planning, so the best location for new ice factory is defined. An action plan to implement this strategy is created. The financial projection needed to calculate the feasibility of this project. Then, the time plan created which is contained every activity, the responsible division, and the time plan.     Abstract - Showcar Studio is an Auto Detailing Car Saloon franchise in Indonesia. Located in Alam Sutera, Tangerang, Showcar Studio serve customers who have luxury car and motorcycle that requires premium auto detailing services. The strategy formulation process is done by analyzing the external and internal evironment to identify threats and opportunity faced by Showcar Studio with analysis method for Political, Legal, Socio-Cultural and Technology (PEST), Porter’s five forces analysis, competitor analysis (from the external side) and analysis methods of VRIO model, business model and SWOT analysis (from the internal side). Conducted with indepth interviews to consumers about the factors that influence the decision to choose an auto detailing car saloon, then process to the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to interpret the Diamond Strategy.     Abstract. TipTop is a business network that engaged in the field of supermarket & department store where one of its branches is located in Rawamangun, East Jakarta. TipTop Rawamangun provides basic human needs products such as groceries and clothes. They sell their products directly only at the store. TipTop Rawamangun started to operate in 1979 and it is still running until today. In general, their sales still have been running quite smoothly until now, but for the future they should begin to be vigilant against the threats of their competitors due to the fact that each year the outlets of the competitors continue to multiply. It makes the people become having more options to choose where to shop. This condition has the potency to turn off the TipTop Rawamangun’ business in the future. To maintain its business, TipTop Rawamangun needs to increase the customer retention, so they want to know in detail about what are the priorities of customers in choosing the stores to shop. TipTop Rawamangun wishes to know the will and desires of customers, so they are able to prepare some strategies to make their existing customers unwilling to stop shopping at their store for the sake to go shopping somewhere else. The business situation analysis begins by analyzing the internal and external environment. Internal analysis consists of ‘Value Chain Analysis’, ‘STP Analysis’, and ‘Marketing Mix 7P Analysis’. While the external analysis consists of ‘PESTLE Analysis’, ‘Porter’s Five Forces Analysis’, ‘Competitor Analysis’, and ‘Customer Retention Influencing Factors Analysis’. The result of those internal and external analysis is the TipTop Rawamangun’s ‘SWOT Analysis’. To discover the opinions and desires of customers towards TipTop Rawamangun, the author distributed questionnaires to TipTop Rawamangun’s 286 customers as samples to determine whether the customers are satisfied with the services at TipTop Rawamangun or not. The results of the questionnaires indicate that the value of TipTop Rawamangun’s customer retention is just “Moderate†(Mean = 3.12) and reveal that several sectors should be enhanced in TipTop Supermarket & Department Store, Rawamangun, East Jakarta’s business. Keywords: Customer Retention, Supermarket Business, Retail Industry’s Growth

    Abstract- Currently hospitality business in Indonesia is growing along with the increasing spotlight on tourism. Hotel is a company engaged in the service that provides services to stay, meeting room, food or beverages, and more. All hotels want a high occupancy rate, but this cannot be separated from what is used in strategy for each hotel. The business issues in this final project is occupancy rates are currently only 47% of which have not yet reached the target standard STR Global hotel indonesia is 69.4%.The methodology used is the analysis of the marketing mix 7P, Servqual, brand equity. The analysis was performed through the data obtained from the questionnaire that consists of the data respondent, brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality, promotion, and brand loyalty. All questionnaires filled out by the customer Mangkuto except the brand awareness that filled by the customer Payakumbuh Mangkuto and people around payakumbuh. From the results of the questionnaire, found the problem in terms of service, brand image, and promotion. For this service, the problem in terms of professional employees and the response given to customers still unsatisfactory. For the image of the brand, there are problems such as incomplete facilities and the price is not affordable. For promotion, the hotel is lack of utilization such as media social, advertising, and events.The proposed solution is mangkuto should increase promotion using social media, event sponsorships, and advertising. In addition, repair facilities and provide attractive discounts for hotel customers. Improve service by way of renovating the meeting room, check the cleanliness of the rooms and meeting rooms, providing appropriate equipment in meetings, increasing the number of variety of food, improve service employees. The solutions are applied in the implementation plan. The implementation plan consists of objectives, activities, indicators, targets, resources, responsible, and timeline.Keywords: marketing mix, servqual, brand equity, brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality, promotion, and brand loyalty.Â

This research focused on, Rumah Kayu Inc. strategy formulation on wearable applications based on consumer needs that created from consumer insight and strategy entering and lead the market. Generated business strategy are market penetration, market development, and product development strategy, in order to have a competitive advantage on compete and lead within existing competitor and new entrants.
