    Marketing Plan of Lemigas Product as Public Service Agency (BLU) (Case: Lain Air Gun Seismic)

    Abstract - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) is obliged to realize energy sovereignty for the future which includes access to development, availability, capability and competitiveness. Based on World Economic Forum data, Global Competitiveness Index 2016 - 2017, Indonesia is ranked 41 out of 138 other countries. An achievement that lags far behind other countries in Asia. Technological readiness, innovation and business sophistication should receive attention. Furthermore, corruption and inefficient government bureaucracy are the most problematic factor in doing business in Indonesia. In order to improve services to the community and in line with the desire to change the externality of bureaucracy in the Ministry of EMR, the Minister of EMR Ignasius Jonan assigned the Research and Development Agency (Balitbang) to the Public Service Agency (BLU). Turning bureaucracy into a corporation is the goal of shifting the organization's functions. Lemigas as part of an institution in Balitbang that has previously implemented BLU financial management. However, it has not significantly shown an increase in service and revenue for the institution. Land Mini Airgun which became one of Lemigas's flagship product requires a marketing approach to improve its marketing. Land Mini Airgun serves as a seismic tool on land that can replace seismic functions that use explosives that have been used and not environmentally friendly. However, the opposite is conveyed by competitor which also have seismic services that Land Mini Airgun could not replace the existing seismic function because Land Mini Airgun is as an additional tool if in one seismic work encountered swamp or river area to keep the integrity of the data then used the tool. This research uses marketing management theory and marketing mix approach to know marketing plan to Land Mini Airgun. This study also used the analysis of Porter Five Forces, PESTEL, SWOT as an analysis tool. This study uses qualitative methods by interviewing several oil and gas service companies to offer products as well as make comparisons. Interviews are also conducted on internal Balitbang to find out what has been done to conduct marketing plans and cooperation schemes that have been there so far whether still needed or not.     Business and marketing strategy reformulation for optik joy to develope new customer base

    Abstract — Indonesia, with total population estimated at 266.79 million, has a rapid increasing growth of consuming class. Domestic goods and service consumed by Indonesian urbanities are also increasing. 80 of 266.79million Indonesian people are wearing spectacle. Although, 30 of 80million of spectacle target market are still not reached with 1500 mid-low priced optics as competitors in optical industry. Optik JOY, which is which is the one of mid-low priced optical retailer of eyewear in Tangerang region of Indonesia, has a huge opportunity to expand in Indonesian spectacle market industry. In actual, GMV of Optik JOY mostly generated by BPJS Kesehatan Health Insurance coverage. However, regarding to some internal regulations within BPJS Kesehatan Health Insurance, Optik JOY could not expand only depend on the partnership itself. This situation challenges Optik JOY to develop the potential of new target market and out from the red ocean optical industry competition. In regards of to develop a new business and marketing strategy formulation for Optik JOY, writer do several analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods. By identifying the external forces and internal issues first, then author formulating the strategic proposal to create strategy that could leverage Optik JOY’s positioning as a mid-low priced optic and create differentiation and unique value proposition.     Proposed Service Development for Expat Helper Indonesia

    Abstract - Expat Helper Indonesia was established under PT. Manggala Daksa Raharja in 2015. Company provides one-stop service for expatriates who live in Indonesia. As a startup company, Expat Helper Indonesia is currently facing several issues. The main issues of this research are; the concept of one-stop solution has not proven yet, and the company performed ineffective service package sales. Author intends to conduct a deep research about service development and service package promotion. Qualitative method through literature review, observation and interview with 15 respondents are used to support the research. It started from analyzed the internal and external environment. Based on external analysis using Porter’s Five Forces framework indicates that company faces competition in the industry, although it’s indirect competition, but it still not lower the barrier for customers to switch providers, made company deals with the threat of substitute services and it consequences the bargaining power of buyer becomes high. For internal analysis, this research using VRIO analysis and STP analysis. The internal resource-based analysis resulted that company current level of competitiveness is in temporary competitive advantage. The output strategy formulation is demonstrated in validation board, a new proposed business model canvas and implementation plan. Validation board consists of 8 core assumptions, and 3 pivots. There are several additions in each basic block of the proposed business model canvas. The proposed implementation plan designed for 15 months period. One additional package was added in the new service package that represents the service development.     The readiness of knowledge managament implementation at pt security training

    Abstract - PT SECURITY TRAINING is one of the Security Services Business (BUJP). As a newcomer company in this industry, PT SECURITY TRAINING must be able to continue to grow and improve its competence and performance to compete with other companies. Lack of knowledge management causes several problems. Due to poor KM, the potential of losing knowledge that must be used, stored and distributed to support business operations. This study is focused on knowing the readiness of PT SECURITY TRAINING to implement knowledge management in order to get a better performance. Using knowledge management maturity assessment by adopting elements of APO KM Framework, researcher found that the maturity of knowledge management implementation of PT SECURITY TRAINING is at level initiation, which means that the company is starting to recognize the need to manage knowledge or may have started a knowledge management pilot project. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there are several obstacles that come from several elements such as processes, human resources, technology, and governance. The recommendations are to develop a business strategy, creating a KM team/division, developing a KM strategy, pilot testing and deployment, develop a KM evaluation system, implement KM, also give do some evaluation and give rewards.Keywords: Organizational Readiness, Knowledge Management Implementation, KM Strateg

    Abstract. PT. Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk as one of the investment companies in Indonesia and has many subsidiaries. The company focuses on investing in three business sectors, namely natural resources, infrastructure, and consumers. Assessment related to investment opportunity, become more important for the company. The assessment can be seen from several aspects, one of which is the assessment of the financial aspects of the company. The objective of the study is to carry out an assessment of financial aspect whether financially the subsidiary is classified in a very healthy company, healthy, and unhealthy respectively. The method used in this study is Financial Ratio Analysis, which is classified into four categories: 1. Profitability; 2. Liquidity; 3. Solvency; and 4. Activity Ratios. The results of this study will be validated by using: 1. the Decree of the Minister of State Owned Enterprises no. KEP-100 / MBU / 2002 on the health assessment of State-Owned Enterprises and 2. The Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) of each subsidiary. The data used in this study is derived from the audited financial statements of each subsidiary:  ADRO, MPMX, NRCA,TBIG, and PALM during the last three years of the periods 2013 – 2015.     Business Strategy of Lily Catering in PT. Wilmar Cahaya Mandiri Cafeteria

    Abstract - Lily catering is a catering service provider in Kota Pontianak. In Desember 2015 Lily catering was open a cafeteria located in PT. WILMAR Cahaya Indonesia Factory. In this cafeteria Lily catering provide food for PT. WILMAR Cahaya Indonesia’s employees. However the sales in the cafeteria do not as expected. Lily catering is facing difficulties to reach the market in PT. WILMAR Cahaya Indonesia. The exchange eating coupon in second month is low, because there is some of competitor that offers the same product as Lily catering. They are earlier competitor in the area. To find out the root cause of Lily catering cafeteria business issues, Lily catering conduct analysis from external factors and internal factors. The method used for external analysis was Consumer Survey and Porter's Five Forces. For the internal analysis we used Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning (STP) analysis and Marketing-Mix 7P analysis. Based on those analyses, we found that the marketing mix analysis not match with the market, it cause Lily catering enable to reach the intended sales. The strategy that the Lily catering does is by proposed new marketing mix.     Marketing Strategy to Improve Sales Growth in Imah Nini Bogor

    Abstract. Imah Nini is a company that specialized on selling Bogor’s steamed sponge form of tubers. Started his business by selling cakes at home, Imah Nini at this time has expanded its business by opening a new pastry shop in the business district in the city center of Jl. Pajajaran No. 1 V-Point office block qz. The company set sales goal every month by selling at least 100 boxes per day in hope that they can return back their capital in time. Although Imah Nini sales did increase every month, for the owner the sales increase really slow and barely reach they sales target every month. The purpose of this study is to provide effective business solutions to existing problems. Methods of research conducted by the author divided into internal and external analysis where the author conducted with the owner Imah writer Nini Ny. Arie Latifah SH and the staff in each division, the author is also distributing questionnaires to the respondents around the store Imah Nini to complete the data analysis by the author. Internal analysis is done by using STP and Marketing Mix to know the basic business activities Imah Nini today. External analysis done by using PESTEL, Porter's Five Forces, and Competitor Analysis to find out how Imah Nini facing any external forces and also to learn more about the customer point of view towards the brand. For the business solution the author will draw a conclusion of marketing strength and weakness from internal analysis, and also marketing thread and opportunity from external analysis.     Abstract – Healthy lifestyle has become a growing trend in many developing countries and one of them is Indonesia. This lifestyle has been entered into terms of everyday life and one of them is a beverage. Therefore, there are many healthy food arise. One of them is Fruters, which has specialty in healthy products include mango puree. Fruters as a start-up business that will be in the uncertainties of business conditions and they will face the problems. Limited human resources as lack of people in the production if there are orders in very large quantities, the limited stock of products because minimum capacity of storage for raw material, adding sales network and distribution channels in order to increase sales significantly, the less effective marketing strategy is using social media to connect with the customer build relationship, and to increase brand awareness and provide them with engaging information. The purposed of this final project is to formulate the business strategy of Fruters to increase consumer confidence in its products, to develop the suitable strategy that can be implemented in Fruters to settle the business issue, and to design the implementation plan that can be applied. Some assessments have been done to understand the business condition that was experienced by Fruters. By using PEST analysis, Porter's five forces, and competitor analysis. It is known that Fruters has several threats and opportunities of the external business environment.     Evaluation of bank windu kentjana regarding merger plan in acquiring bank antardaerah

    Abstract. According to the annual report 2015, Bank Windu is reported that they would purchase 1,002,500 total shares or 100% capitalization of Bank Antardaerah. Later on Bank Antardaerah would be fully absorbed by Bank Windu. Both Banks already signed the Conditional Sales and Purchase Agreement on July 1, 2015. The business issue that become the focus here is the discussion regarding evaluation on merger plan that would be executed by Bank Windu by considering the benefit through valuation process and risk that would be arised. This research is analyzed thorugh 3 explorative studies focused on internal environment analysis that using resources and capabilities. Environment analysis that using PEST and Porter Five Forces. Merger analysis that search the processess and motives from this merger plan. 3 of those explorative studies shows that by executing merger plan Bank Windu would be able to face the current economic situation and more prepared in the future compeitition.  From this research, Bank valuation is conducted by using theory of excess equity return for both banks and also merger plans. The result shows that The real value of Bank Antardaerah is Rp. 209,199,399,886 while the book value is Rp. 160,331,000,000 or 1.3 times, the real value of Bank Windu is Rp. 1,386,753,146,849 while the book value is Rp. 653,629,000,000 or 2.12 times. On the other hand, there are three merger scenarios here. Optimistic scenario that resulted merger value of Rp. 1,612,983,541,090. Most Likely scenario that resulted merger value of Rp. 1,595,952,546,735 and pesimistic scenario that resulted merger value of Rp. 1,526,893,729,402. The maximum potential gain (synergy) from this merger is Rp. 17,030,994,355 and the maximum potential loss (synergy) is - Rp. 69,058,817,333. While, the maximum price with net profit Rp. 0 for Bank Windu in purchasing Bank Antardaerah is Rp. 226,230,394,240. In term of risk there are 3 low risks, 5 medium risks and 1 high risk that possible to arised, but by using COSO risk framework. The risks are possible to be mitigated and decreased into 5 low risks, 3 medium risks and 1 high risk. Priere Footwear is a leather shoes company built in 2013, it offers wide ranges of men’s leather shoes with classic design and high quality materials & constructions with extraordinary presentations. Their vision is to be the most reliable shoe brand and producers in South East Asia and their mission is to give best price/quality ratio products. In 2015 Priere Footwear face the latest problem of its business and it literally stop the business activities of Priere Footwear caused by suppliers problem which is the shoe manufacturers. The suppliers don’t follow the production schedule and quality standard causing trouble in production flow which impacts financially to the company. On the other hand Priere Footwear’s sales performance when the stock level is stable is excellent but it cannot maximized the opportunity. The methodologies for data gathering in this research is through observation, informal interviews with competitors, questionnaire that surveys random sample of 111 respondents.Writer also use literature research to add supporting datas related with Priere Footwear’s business such as middle class in Indonesia and the use of e-commerce in Indonesia. Data analysis is done with strategic management tools such SWOT analysis that shows result one of Priere Footwear’s strength is that they have good visual presentation and communication, and its weaknesses which are narrow revenue stream and overdependent on suppliers, while it also shows e-commerce trend as an opportunity and hyper competition as threats., Porter’s Five Forces Analysis that identifies suppliers as the strongest pressure in the industry, the other tools used are Business Model Analysis, Benchmarking of the competitors business model & TOWS Matrix that identifies the potential strategies relating the result of SWOT analysis and the last tools are STP & Marketing Mix Analysis to complete the analysis It was found out that the main problem of Priere Footwear that stop them to grow is its own business model causing the instability of the business and unable them to catch the opportunity in the industry. Results from analysis propose three expansion strategies to overcome the business issue of Priere Footwear which are Digital Marketing Strategy, E-Commerce Strategy and Vertical Integration Strategy which creates a modification in current Priere Footwear’s business model.
