PENGARUH KOMITMEN ORGANISASI TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on the performance of public junior high school teachers in Pringsewu Regency. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto design and correlational method. The research population includes 822 teachers, with a sample of 274 teachers selected using Proportionated Random Sampling. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and partial t-tests. The results showed that organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a contribution of 74.9%. These findings indicate that teachers with high commitment work more professionally, are more disciplined, and are more responsible, thereby improving the quality of learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pringsewu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto dan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian meliputi 822 guru, dengan sampel 274 guru yang dipilih menggunakan Proportionated Random Sampling. Analisis data dilakukan melalui regresi linier sederhana dan uji-t parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dengan kontribusi sebesar 74,9%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru dengan komitmen tinggi bekerja lebih profesional, disiplin, dan bertanggung jawab, sehingga meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran
Implementasi implementasi manajemen kelas berbasis mindfulness untuk meniningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama katolik di SMPN 1 Nubatukan
This study aims to describe the implementation of mindfulness-based classroom management in Improving the Learning Outcomes of Students in the Kleas VII Catholic Religious Education Subject at SMP Negeri 1 Nubatukan. The background of this research is based on the challenge of creating an effective learning environment, where students often lack focus or concentration and have difficulty in applying the values of Catholic teachings in daily life. The mindfulnsess approach was chosen as a solution to improve concentration, emotion regulation, and student involvement in learning. This study uses a qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The research subjects included, the principal, PAK teachers, and five students of grade VII. The results of the study showed that mindfulness-based classroom management succeeded in improving students' concentration, emotional intelligence, and ability to socialize. In addition, this approach also has a positive impact on student learning outcomes, both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The findings of this study support several previous studies that have stated that mindfulness can improve learning outcomes, although there are other studies that show its impact on psychological aspects more significantly than academics.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen kelas berbasis mindfulness dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik Kleas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Nubatukan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh tantangan dalam menciptakan ingkungan belajar yang efektif, di mana peserta didik seringkali kurang fokus atau konsentrasi dan kesulitan dalma menerapkan nilai-nilai ajaran Katolik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pedekatan mindfulnsess dipilih sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi, regulasi emosi, dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek ppenelitian meliputi, kepala sekolah, guru PAK, dan lima peserta didik kelas VII. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa manajemen kelas berbasis mindfulnsess berhasil meningkatkan konsnetrasi siswa, kecerdasan emosional, serta kemampuan dalam bersosialisasi. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga berdampak positif pada hasil belajar peserta didik, baik aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik. Temuan penelitian ini mendukung beberapa studi terdahulu yang menyatakan bahwa mindfulnsess dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, meskipun terdapat penelitian lain yang menunjukan dampaknya lebih siginifikan pada aspek psikologis dari pada akdemik
TRANSFORMING TEACHERS' INNOVATIVE BEHAVIOR BASED ON MANAGEMENT OF KULLIYYATU-L-MU'ALLIMĪN AL-ISLĀMIYYAH
Innovative behavior among teachers is vital in addressing educational challenges in the era of globalization, particularly in pesantren environments that integrate religious and general education. This research examines the transformation of teachers' innovative behavior based on the management of Kulliyyatu-l-Mu'allimīn Al-Islāmiyyah (KMI) at Pondok Modern Al Barokah. The study aims to analyze the roles of transformational leadership, teacher self-efficacy, and organizational support in fostering innovative behaviors within the KMI framework. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs case studies through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using Spradley’s model, which includes domain, taxonomy, component, and cultural theme analysis. Validity tests were based on credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The study reveals that the transformation of teachers’ innovative behavior at Pondok Modern Al Barokah is influenced by two main factors. First, transformational leadership motivates teachers to explore new teaching methods and integrate technology, despite existing limitations. Second, increased teacher self-efficacy, facilitated by continuous training and collaborative experiences, encourages creative teaching practices. Organizational support, such as flexible policies and the establishment of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), strengthens innovation and promotes collaboration among teachers. The integration of both religious and public curricula fosters holistic learning innovations. This research offers practical contributions for Islamic boarding school administrators and educational institutions, guiding the design of management strategies that support teacher innovation. Theoretical implications highlight the role of self-efficacy and organizational support in enhancing transformational leadership and innovative behaviors in the context of faith-based education
DEVELOPING A THEORETICAL SERVICE QUALITY FRAMEWORK FOR A STUDENT FUNDING SYSTEM
This article proposes a comprehensive theoretical framework aimed at enhancing service quality (SQ) within a student funding system in South Africa. Drawing on extensive literature regarding SQ and organisational excellence, the framework integrates macro-level systemic dimensions with micro-level student-focused components. The study employed a qualitative research methodology, incorporating a document analysis approach as primary data collection techniques. This approach emphasises a holistic strategy for the re-engineering of a student funding system, aligning with stakeholder needs and the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework. Key dimensions identified within this framework leadership, strategic planning, operational processes, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and measurement are essential for achieving superior service delivery and organisational effectiveness. The findings suggest that this theoretical framework not only addresses existing gaps in student funding operations but also sets the foundation for future empirical validation and refinement
Nilai Kepemimpinan Tranformasional Efektif dalam Memperkuat Budaya Organisasi Sekolah
Abstract: Abstract This research aims to determine the value of effective leadership through the application of transformational leadership style on the organizational culture of schools. The research method used is a systematic literature review, exploring relevant literature. It was found that the transformational leadership style impacts the organizational culture of schools. This leadership style creates a school culture based on collaboration, support, and trust, and establishes a foundation of shared values and beliefs within the school.Abstrak: Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kepemimpinan efektif dengan penerapan gaya tranformasional terhadap budaya organisasi sekolah. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu systematic literature review dengan mengekplorasi literatur yang relevan. Ditemukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan tranformasional berdampak terhadap budaya organisasi sekolah. dengan gaya kepemimpinan tranformasional menciptakan budaya sekolah berdasarkan kolaborasi, dukungan, dan kepercayaan diskeolah serta membentuk dasar nilai-nilai dan keyakinan bersama anatara sekolah
ENHANCING COMPETENCIES OF CONTACT CENTER TEAM LEADERS THROUGH BLENDED LEARNING: EVIDENCE FROM A NATIONAL COMPETITION IN INDONESIA
This study aims to analyze the competency development needs of contact center team leaders based on the evaluation of training and implementation during the Indonesian National Contact Center Competition. A total of 416 participants from various inbound, outbound, and digital positions took part in the program, including 54 Team Leaders. The competency assessment was conducted using a computer-based testing application to ensure measurable and objective results. Participants were prepared through two different approaches: the first group combined e-learning with video conferencing, while the second group combined e-learning with face-to-face sessions. Data analysis focused specifically on team leader participants and applied ANOVA to examine differences in learning outcomes between groups, as well as to identify critical areas requiring competency enhancement. The findings revealed significant differences between the two groups and highlighted the need for strengthening competencies in quality measurement, case analysis, data analysis, performance evaluation, and the strategic role of the contact center. These results emphasize the importance of targeted training for team leaders to enhance their ability to manage contact center operations. The use of blended learning methods combined with computer-based testing provides a more accurate depiction of training effectiveness
HUBUNGAN BUDAYA KERJA, GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN, MOTIVASI KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SMP NEGERI 1 DAN SMP NEGERI 6 KOTABARU
This study analyzes the relationship between work culture, leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 and SMP Negeri 6 Kotabaru using a mixed-method approach. Quantitative analysis results show that work culture and work discipline do not have a significant effect on teacher performance, with p-values of 0.235 and 0.225, respectively. In contrast, leadership style and work motivation have significant effects, with p-values of 0.007 and 0.000, respectively. Qualitative analysis indicates that while work culture and work discipline do not have a direct impact, they remain important in supporting teacher performance. The simultaneous hypothesis suggests that all variables collectively influence teacher performance, although individual contributions from work culture and work discipline are not significant. This research provides insights for the development of more effective educational policies.Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara budaya kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 dan SMP Negeri 6 Kotabaru menggunakan metode mix method. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa budaya kerja dan disiplin kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dengan p-value masing-masing 0,235 dan 0,225. Sebaliknya, gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan dengan p-value masing-masing 0,007 dan 0,000. Analisis kualitatif mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun budaya kerja dan disiplin kerja tidak berpengaruh langsung, keduanya tetap penting dalam mendukung kinerja guru. Hipotesis simultan menyatakan bahwa semua variabel secara bersamaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, meskipun kontribusi individu dari budaya kerja dan disiplin kerja tidak signifikan. IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF RELIGIOUS VALUES EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS AT AN-NAHDLIYIN ELEMENTARY MADRASAH DUKUH TENGAH BUDURAN SIDOARJO
This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the concept of management of religious values education, the implementation of the management concept of religious values education and the implementation of management of religious values education among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah An-Nahdliyin Dukuh Tengah Buduran Sidoarjo. . Researchers will dig deeper into the formation of religious values in educational institutions which are implemented in daily attitudes and behavior both in the school environment and in the Islamic Religious Education learning process. The type of research used is field research. The nature of the following research is descriptive qualitative, meaning that this research is descriptive research, generally carried out by interviews and observations. The results of this research are: 1) Education quality management carried out by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin by implementing the POAC concept, namely implementation, organization, execution and supervision, has met the standards and targets set by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin. 2) The results of the implementation of religious values education are in accordance with the standards used with the strengthening of religious knowledge and the implementation of religious life has gone according to the wishes and plans of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin. It is also in accordance with the vision of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin, namely the formation of people who excel in IMTAQ and Science and Technology and have good morals.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui konsep Manajemen pendidikan nilai religius, pelaksanaan konsep Manajemen pendidikan nilai religius dan implementasi Manajemen pendidikan nilai religius pada peserta pada peserta didik Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah An-Nahdliyin Dukuh Tengah Buduran Sidoarjo. peneliti akan menggali lebih dalam mengenai pembentukan nilai-nilai religius dalam lembaga pendidikan tersebut yang terimplementasikan dalam sikap dan perilaku sehari-hari baik dilingkungan sekolah maupun dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Sifatnya penelitian berikut yakni deskriptif kualitatif artinya penelitian tentang riset yang bersifat diskriptif, secara umum dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, display dan ferifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Manajemen mutu pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin dengan menjalankan konsep POAC yaitu pelaksanaan, organisasi, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan telah memenuhi standar dan target yang ditetapkan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin. 2) Hasil implementasi pendidikan nilai religious telah sesuai Standar yang digunakan dengan pemantapan ilmu keagamaan serta pelaksanaan hidup beragama telah berjalan sesuai dengan apa yang diinginkan dan perencanaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin. Juga telah sesuai dengan visi dari Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Annahdliyin yaitu terbentuknya insan yang unggul dalam IMTAQ dan IPTEK serta berakhlakul karimah
Analisis Kebutuhan dan Distribusi Guru di Indonesia: Kajian Pustaka tentang Perencanaan Jumlah dan Kualitas Tenaga Pendidik
This study aims to analyze teacher needs, quantity planning, quality, and distribution in Indonesia through a qualitative literature study approach. Data were obtained from various scientific sources such as journals, policy reports, and official documents from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. The analysis shows that teacher needs in Indonesia are not yet aligned with available positions, exacerbated by a wave of mass retirements that has increased the deficit in several regions. Teacher number planning faces major obstacles in the form of inaccurate data and weak coordination between agencies, resulting in recruitment not always reflecting actual needs in schools. In terms of quality, competency improvement programs such as certification and training have not consistently improved pedagogical performance, particularly in areas with limited access. Furthermore, teacher distribution remains unequal, with a concentration in urban areas and shortages in Frontier, Remote, and Disadvantaged areas. These findings emphasize that the issues of teacher quantity, quality, and distribution are interrelated and require an integrative policy approach. Consequently, the government needs to develop an integrated education data system, strengthen needs-based planning, and implement incentives and ongoing professional development programs to encourage equitable teacher distribution across Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan, perencanaan jumlah, kualitas, dan distribusi guru di Indonesia melalui pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan guru di Indonesia belum sejalan dengan formasi yang tersedia, ditambah dengan gelombang pensiun yang memperburuk defisit pada sejumlah wilayah. Perencanaan jumlah guru juga menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan akurasi data dan lemahnya koordinasi antarinstansi, sehingga rekrutmen tidak selalu sesuai dengan kebutuhan riil sekolah. Dari sisi kualitas, program peningkatan kompetensi seperti sertifikasi dan pelatihan belum sepenuhnya berdampak pada praktik pembelajaran di kelas, terutama di daerah dengan akses terbatas. Sementara itu, distribusi guru masih timpang, dengan konsentrasi di perkotaan dan kekurangan di daerah 3T. Secara keseluruhan, permasalahan jumlah, kualitas, dan distribusi guru saling terkait dan membutuhkan solusi yang terpadu. Upaya perbaikan perlu didukung oleh sistem data pendidikan yang terintegrasi, perencanaan berbasis kebutuhan, program pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, serta kebijakan insentif yang mendorong pemerataan guru
THE MADIUN CITY GOVERNMENT'S LAPTOP PROCUREMENT POLICY FOR IMPROVING STUDENT MOTIVATION AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND CHARACTER EDUCATION SUBJECTS
The focus of this research is to explore data on policy efforts and any constraints in procuring laptops for the Madiun City Government towards increasing student motivation and achievement in the subject of Islamic Religious Education and morals at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun. This type of research is qualitative research, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation, while data validity checking techniques use triangulation techniques: transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the research: (1) The policy efforts implemented are (a) have been running for three years starting from 2020 from the pandemic period to now 2023 with a total of 237 units that are allowed to be taken home to support independent learning at home which is also balanced with installation wi-fi; (b) a special technician is prepared to be responsible for minor damage; (c) training of teachers to increase student motivation in Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects and manners which have an impact on students' enthusiasm during the learning process, facilitate the work of students' assignments independently, be responsible for individual student laptop maintenance, and increase achievement students with benchmarks for success are students who are more active in attending, doing assignments both during Covid and post-Covid, motivated to study independently with laptop facilities. (2) Obstacles in implementing this policy, in Islamic religious education (PAI) and morals subjects, namely (a) unstable (slow) network, especially in rural areas, (b) limited technicians who do not understand the problems in the PAI subject for needs application-based learning (software), (c) limited knowledge of the majority of Elementary School (SD) students in operating laptops effectively, (d) teachers who are still found not to focus on live explanations or giving material (not in accordance with lesson plans) online. While the impact of this policy is that teachers and students are proficient (literate) in technology, happy (motivated), increasing student achievement in terms of digital literacy using laptops in Islamic insight and also their character becomes responsible, so that achievement in learning increasesFokus penelitian ini menggali data tentang upaya kebijakan dan kendala apa saja dalam pengadaan laptop Pemerintah Kota Madiun terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan budi pekerti di SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, adapun teknik pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi: transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dankonfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian: (1) Upaya kebijakan yang dijalankan tersebut (a) sudah berjalan selama tiga tahun mulai dari tahun 2020 dari masa pandemi sampai dengan sekarang 2023 dengan jumlah 237 unit yang diperkenankan untuk dibawa pulang guna menunjang pembelajaran mandiri dirumah yang di imbangi juga dengan pemasangan wifi; (b) disiapkan teknisi khusus sebagai penanggungjawab kerusakan ringan; (c) pelatihan para guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa mapel pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) dan budi pekerti yang memberikan dampak pada antusiasnya siswa saat proses pembelajaran, mempermudah pengerjaan tugas siswa secara mandiri, bertanggungjawab atas pemeliharaan laptop secara individu siswa, serta semakin meningkatnya prestasi siswa dengan tolak ukur keberhasilannya adalah siswa lebih aktif hadir, pengerjaan tugas baik di masa covid maupun pasca-covid, termotivasi belajar mandiri dengan fasilitas laptop. (2) Kendala dalam menerapkan kebijakan ini, pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) dan budi pekerti yaitu (a) jaringan yang tidak stabil (lambat) terutama di pedesaan, (b) keterbatasan teknisi yang kurang memahami permasalahan di mapel PAI untuk kebutuhan pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi (software), (c) keterbatasan pengetahuan secara mayoritas murid Sekolah Dasar (SD) dalam pengoperasian laptop secara tepat guna, (d) guru yang masih dijumpai tidak fokus dalam live penjelasan atau pemberian materi (tidak sesuai RPP) secara daring. Sedangkan dampak dari kebijakan ini adalah guru dan siswa mahir (melek) teknologi, bahagia (termotivasi), meningkatnya prestasi siswa dari sisi literasi digital menggunakan laptop dalam wawasan keislaman dan juga budi pekertinya menjadi bertanggungjawab, sehingga prestasi dalam belajarnya menjadi meningkat
