CODE SWITCHING IN “HALUSTIK” MOVIE BY NIA DINATA, LUCKY KUSWANDI, AND ANDRI CHUNG
Code-switching (CS) nowadays has been used by youth as a daily language among them and reflected in the “Halustik” movie. The aims of the research are to find out the category of CS spoken by the speakers and to explore their communication intentions to switch from one code to another in the movie which depicts urban life among young people. In the movie, the casts speak and communicate in four languages (Indonesian, English, Javanese, and Sundanese). Qualitative research data were collected by identifying the CS utterances from words, phrases, clauses, and sentences spoken by the main casts/characters in the movie. Next, the data were categorized, selected based on the categories of CS, and classified based on communicative intentions. The findings show that intra-sentential CS (60%) was the most used category of CS, followed by tag CS (4%), and inter-sentential CS (36%). Concerning the communicative intentions by the speakers, they alternate the language into another language since they are intended to talking about a certain topic (60%), quoting someone's words (11%), feeling empathy for something (expressing solidarity) (4%), providing interjection (4%), giving repetition for clarification (7%), clarifying the content of speech to the interlocutor (9%), and expressing a group identity (4%).  
IDEOLOGI PRANGGAPAN PAMFLET SOSIALISASI PELESTARIAN LINGKUNGAN DI KABUPATEN BURU
ABSTARCT
This research reveals the presumptive ideology of the socialization of environmental conservation pamphlets in Buru Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This means that in this study the researcher observed and analyzed the sentences in the Socialization Pamphlet for Environmental Conservation in Buru Regency through a pragmatic approach. The data source used for this study was the Environmental Conservation Socialization Pamphlet in Buru Regency, while the type of data in this study was written data, in the form of sentences in pamphlets containing presuppositions. This research reveals the types of presuppositions in the environmental preservation socialization pamphlet, namely: (1) existential presuppositions, (2) factive presuppositions, (3) lexical presuppositions, (4) structural presuppositions, and (5) counterfactual presuppositions while non-active presuppositions are not found. menemenyekuruh Government and LSM are trying to socialize environmental preservation in real terms in Buru Regency. This means that the pamphlet publisher does not use inactive presuppositions which in fact are presuppositions that are assumed to be incorrect or allow wrong understanding due to the use of uncertain or ambiguous words.

STATE OF EXCEPTION THROUGH RASISME IN GO SET A WATCHMAN IN AGAMBEN’S POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY
This study aims to see racism in the novel Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee as state of exception; a political philosophy of Agamben. Agamben's idea of state of exception is used in this study as the theoretical framework. This research specifically reveals how racism becomes part of state of exception in American society around 1960s when the novel was written. The analysis focuses on issues of racism in American society as depicted in the novel. The issue of racism is taken with the aim of analyzing state of exception in USA, in dealing with racial discrimination. After analyzing the issues of racism and state of exception in the novel, this study reveals that racism in American society is politically structured. The finding of this study is the discrimination experienced by lower class citizens who are dominated by black people, as the impact of state of exception which affects their citizenship rights
AN ANALYSIS OF PARENT-TEACHER COMMUNICATION TOWARD THE STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION
ABSTRACT
The aims of this research are to find out that extent parents are involved in their children reading comprehension at home and to know the factors trigger the communication between parents and the English teacher toward the students reading comprehension. By using the qualitative research this study described the research finding using a triangulation technique to gather the data from the questionnaires, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) from 10 parents and one english teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Lampasio. The data analysis indicates two things. The first, parents role toward the students’ reading comprehension is Low. It was found by the result of questionnaire that showed there were 10%-20% parents involved in their child reading comprehension at home. The second, the factors triggers the communication between parents and the English teacher were progress report that given by the English teacher to parents used an examination sheet and the same living place between parents and the English teacher.

ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR BERBASIS KORPUS PADA TAGAR TOLAK OMNIBUS LAW
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to find out the discursive portrayal of the hashtag “tolakomnibuslaw” on Twitter, which reveals rejection of the Job Creation Law by applying the synergy of linguistic corpus method and illocutionary speech act analysis. The data of this research is a corpus based taken from the utterances of Twitter users who use the hashtag of Omnibus Law Rejection (#tolakomnibuslaw) on October 8, 2020. Word lists and collocations analysis are utilized to see patterns of the hashtag used by people in expressing rejection of the Job Creation Law. Concordance is used to lean more the analysis of speech acts and study the data. The result show that there are 38 styles of the hashtag use. Most of them is the use of noun behind the hashtag “tolakomnibuslaw”. In addition, there are also five common topic hashtags included the hashtag “tolakomnibuslaw”. From the perspective of speech acts, there are five types of speech acts that appear and are dominated by assertive speech and forms of criticism against government effort.

PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN TEKS ANEKDOT SECARA DARING
ABSTRACT
The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the face-to-face learning process, therefore a solution is needed to answer these problems. Online learning (online) is an alternative that can overcome this problem. Online learning with online applications including Google classroom, Google from, Whatsapp groups and other media. Especially in language lessons in improving the making of anecdotal texts. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the effectiveness of the implementation of online learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sukoharjo in the creativity of writing anecdotal texts. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires conducted online, and the number of samples was 36 students in the TKR class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sukoharjo study. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that students are less effective and less understanding in online learning. The media used by students are gadgets (HP) and there are several obstacles faced during this online learning, ranging from technical problems when learning online, networking on gadgets, and quite expensive quota fees.

REPRESENTATION OF IDEOLOGY IN TEMPO NEWSPAPER ANCOL RECLAMATION NEWS DISCOURSE (Van Dijk Model Criticaldiscourse Analysis Study)
ABSTRACT
The study aims to examine the ideological representations that appear in the news in the media. The analysis of this research uses the CDA Van Dijk concept. The data of this research is the news entitled “DKI Mengklaim Perluasan Ancol untuk Publik” published in TEMPO Newspaper, Monday July 6, 2020. From the analysis, this news shows support for the reclamation policy of the Ancol area of the DKI Jakarta Government. Besides, it is known that this news represents the ideological strategy of capitalism.

THE ONLINE LISTENING STRATEGY INSTRUCTION AND VOCABULARY KNOWLEDGE ON LISTENING SKILL OF GRADE 12 JAPANESE LANGUAGE LEARNERS IN BEKASI WEST JAVA
ABSTRACT
This article presents the result of empirical research that investigates the effect of online listening strategies instruction and vocabulary knowledge on Japanese language learners' listening skill. Listening strategies instruction used are the integrative model and the Oxford model. Participants in the study were 44 Japanese language learners of grade 12 from SMAN 21 Bekasi. This research used a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental method. The data was collected by pre-test and post-test related to the learners’ Japanese listening skills. The learners' vocabulary knowledge was also measured using a vocabulary knowledge test. The result showed that the online listening strategy instruction, integrative model could not be given to students of class XII of SMAN 21 Bekasi due to the absence of a significant effect of the method and vocabulary knowledge on listening skills of Japanese language learners of grade 12 from SMAN 21 Bekasi. The research shows the possibility of other factors such as learning independency and learner autonomy that can affect the effectiveness of online listening strategy instruction, integrative model on Japanese listening skills.

VALUE OF LOCAL WISDOM IN THE MYTH OF MERIAM TEGAK AND THE LEGEND OF PILANG ISLAND
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to explore the values of local wisdom contained in the myth of Meriam Tegak and the legend Pilang Island. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are carried out using document techniques. Analysis of research data is carried out using content analysis techniques. The results obtained are the myth of the upright cannon and the legend of Pilang Island contains the value of local wisdom, such: (1) religious, (2) honesty, (3) not denouncing, (4) keeping the heart, (5) patient, (6) meek, (7) responsibility, and (8) the value of trust. The conclusion of the research is the myth of Meriam Tegak and the legend of Pilang Island contains religious values (Islam), ethical values, social, hard work, and educational values. The eight values of local wisdom combine to build a whole storyline of myths and legends. In addition, the eight values also decrypt local wisdom values.

EFEKTIVITAS EVALUASI HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI APLIKASI GOOGLE FORM
ABSTRAK
Artikel penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai efektivitas pemanfaatan Google Form dalam kegiatan evaluasi hasil belajar di bidang studi Bahasa Indonesia kelas V SD Islam Ruhama Ciputat Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan carat es dan nontes. Populasi dalam penelitian ialah seluruh peserta didik di kelas V SD Islam Ruhama Ciputat Timur. Sampel yang dipakai ialah kelas V-C SD Islam Ruhama Ciputat Timur dan tata cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random tentang studi mengenai efektivitas evaluasi hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia melalui aplikasi Google Form. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat diketahui, bahwa penilaian Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan Google Form sangat efektif. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar, yaitu sebesar 96,7 % serta tanggapan dari siswa yang sebagian besar menyatakan sangat setuju (SS) sebanyak 30,3% dan sebanyak 58,0% menyatakan setuju (S).
