BAHASA KIASAN PADA KUMPULAN PUISI “CINTA DAN KISAH-KISAH YANG SULIT SELESAI”
Full text linkThis research was intended to explain the figurative language on the collection of poems entitled Cinta dan Kisah-kisah yang Sulit written by Gita Romadhona. The figurative languages in group of poem described the feeling of the writer and used the aesthetics and meaningful figurative languages. This research was qualitative descriptive. The research data were in the form of dictions, phrases, and lyrics that showed figurative language. The resource of the data was the collection of poems entitled Cinta dan Kisah-kisah yang Sulit written by Gita Romadhona. The instruments of the data were the researcher herself and supported by the table of the data collection. The technique of the data collection was reading and marking the data that contained figurative language on the collection of poems that has been researched. The analysing data included continuously reading, collecting the data, coding, describing the data and writing the conclusion. The testing technique of the data validity was the enhancement diligence technique. Based on the results of the research, it was found about simile figurative languages, personifications, allegories, cynics, epics, metonymies, and metaphors. The figurative languages used were the expressions of the writer itself.  
THE USE OF SURVEY APPLICATION TO CREATE LEARNING MODULES IN THE PANDEMIC ERA
Full text linkEffective learning needs to be supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure that are approved in finding relevant references and materials. In the field, learning is quite difficult in the learning process because of limited referrals/material. Therefore, it is necessary to design a module that is by following the syllabus (RPS) that helps students learn independently. The purpose of the research is to find the needs and desires that are expected in the course modules in linguistic/literature research methods. The research method used was conducting a survey using questionnaires and conducting interviews. The questionnaire analyzes the needs of students and lecturers who are then analyzed by identifying based on their needs. The questionnaire for needs analysis is published with SurveyMonkey media application to facilitate the process of filling out the questionnaire. The results of the interview activities will be described qualitatively based on field observations. The subjects of the study were 100 students in the 6th semester and three lecturers who were lecturers parallel to this course. ORIENTASI PENERJEMAHAN IDIOM BAHASA KOREA DALAM WEBTOON “TOUCH TOUCH YOU”

Salah satu hambatan penerjemahan adalah ketika terdapat unsur-unsur budaya seperti idiom. Saat itulah diperlukan teknik dan metode penerjemahan untuk mengatasi hambatan pada penerjemahan idiom. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, dalam penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa teknik dan metode yang terlihat pada hasil terjemahan idiom berbahasa Korea dalam webtoon “Touch Touch You”. Data yang berupa idiom-idiom dalam webtoon tersebut diidentifikasi teknik dan metode penerjemahannya berdasarkan teori teknik penerjemahan oleh Molina dan Albir (2002) dan metode penerjemahan oleh Newmark (1988). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah teknik padanan lazim sebesar 66,7%, sedangkan metode yang mendominasi adalah metode yang berorientasi pada bahasa sasaran. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerjemah webtoon tersebut cenderung lebih mengutamakan pesan di dalam idiom Korea agar mudah dipahami para pembaca Indonesia. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, orientasi penerjemahan idiom-idiom dalam webtoon ini tetap mempertahankan konteks budaya Korea sehingga hasil penerjemahan yang terlihat tetap alami bagi pembaca Indonesia. Akan tetapi, meski penerjemah sudah menggunakan padanan yang lazim, hal tersebut tidak menjamin pesan yang terkandung dalam idiom dapat tersampaikan dengan benar karena terkadang terdapat hambatan pemahaman budaya maupun konteks oleh penerjemah

Full text linkThe purpose of this study is to describe the use of various familiar languages in code switching events in the Putri 'Aisyiyah Dau Orphanage. This research is a qualitative research. The approach used in this research is a descriptive approach. The source of the research data is in the form of conversations between students and students, students with caregivers, and caregivers with caregivers in private audio recordings in the Putri 'Aisyiyah Dau Orphanage. The data in this study are excerpts from conversations between students and students, students with caregivers, and caregivers with caregivers that contain variations of familiar language and code switching models. The data collection techniques in this study were: 1) Recording conversations in the Putri 'Aisyiyah Dau Orphanage, 2) Making transcriptions of data from conversations in the Putri 'Aisyiyah Dau Orphanage, 3) Grouping the findings according to indicators. Full text linkThe purpose of this research is to broaden the understanding of the study of language analysis used in da'wah communication, to provide an overview and knowledge of forms of da'wah communication language that can be applied in everyday life and can be used as an example of qualitative research, especially content analysis. This study uses a content analysis method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is done by content analysis. The results showed that the form of da'wah communication style in terms of the End aspect in the lectures delivered by Syekh Sulaiman bin Salimullah Ar Ruhaily found as many as 26 utterances. The form of da'wah communication style in terms of the Act Sequences aspect was found to be 44 utterances. Full text linkThis study intends to reveal the satire about Jihad concept misunderstanding which causes negative image for Islam that caused by irresponsible British Moslems. They act without sufficient religious understanding and only out of lust to get rid of the unjust infidels towards minority Moslems. So, with the analysis of the signifier-signified of Saussure's semiotic theory, it’s hoped that satire can be conveyed, understood and aware by the parties who become the targets of satire. This study has a significance for eliminating misunderstandings about Islam which are always associated with terrorism, namely stupid acts that only harm fellow Moslems. This study will use a qualitative method because it related to phenomena in society. In this study, film as the object where the data are collected and supported by literature studies. The results from 20 data contain signifier and signified of radical Moslem’s act who misunderstanding about Jihad then satire that is intended to prove those who deviate are not acting in the name of Islam, terrorism is a stupid act and British government must be more fair to minorities. It’s recommended for further studies to examine Islamophobia in Asia with poster as the object the uses qualitative method and Peircean semiotics
VERBA TRANSITIF DALAM THREAD HOROR DI TWITTER @DARJOFESS
Full text linkThis study discusses the production of transitive verbs, types of transitive verbs, the role of transitive verbs, and their grammatical meanings found in the horror thread on the Twitter account @darjofess. The horror thread that will be analyzed is entitled “An Strange Experience on the South Beach of Malang” which was uploaded on April 19, 2022. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research and literature study. The data collection technique in this study was a read-note technique, and documentation in the form of screenshots which were then listened to intensively. The aims of this study are: 1) To find out the types of transitive verbs in the object of study in the form of a horror thread on Twitter and social media; 2) Knowing the type of transitive verb role in the object of study in the form of a horror thread on Twitter social media. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, and includes field research. The data collection uses closed interview techniques.The validity of the data using resource triangulation, data analysis using the techniques of data collection, selection and reduction, presentation, analysis, data crosscheck and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that Olo is an oral literature sing using bamboo gongs and flutes as accompanying traditional musical instruments. The social values in it contain the social values of love, mutual cooperation and solidarity in the social life. The social value of love is in the form of feelings of mutual love between a man and woman in the bonds of marriage, and the value of mutual cooperation where there is unity in working together to achieve common goals in the implementation of Olo literary tradition. The social value of solidarity in social life is the presence of fraternity, brotherhood and social relations in the life of society
STRATEGI PEMBERITAAN MEDIA ONLINE INDONESIA DALAM KASUS DEMONSTRASI RUU HIP (ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS THEO VAN LEEUWEEN)
Full text linkThis research aimedto describe the different points of view among the Indonesian national online media, namely Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, CNN Indonesia and Tempo.com and to describe the tendency of the online media's attitudes in constructing the Demonstration case of the RUU HIP. The exclusion strategy is used to see how actors are excluded or hidden in the news text. This exclusion and inclusion strategy looks at how the forms of language usage are used to recapture the meaning to the public. The data of this research were found from reporting on the demonstration case of the RUU HIP in July 2020 in online media Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, Tempo.com and CNN Indonesia during 15-16 July 2020. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with a critical discourse analysis by Theo Van Leeuwen in order to describe how events and actors are portrayed in the news. The results showed that the form of Leeuwen's exclusion theory found in four news reports in online media was that Detiknews.com, Kompas.com, and CNN Indonesia in the news about the demonstration of the RUU HIP tended to use an inclusion strategy while, Tempo.com was more towards exclusio
