    TINDAK TUTUR REPRESENTATIF DALAM ANTOLOGI NASKAH DRAMA SARAPAN TERAKHIR

    This research aims to describe representative speech act in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is representative speech act in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. The data source of this research is the speeches of the characters in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. Data collection techniques used in this study are library techniques, namely reading, listening, recording, and analyzing. Based on the results of the study, there were a number of representative speech acts from three drama texts in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir” Based on the results of the study, showed that the representative speech act stating there are 78 data, most widely used in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. Second, followed by a representative speech act sugesting there are 75 data. Third, representative speech acts reported 51 data.     This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the CIRC learning model in improving elementary school students' writing skills in learning Indonesia language. This study uses research methods literature review with meta analysis techniques. There were 12 articles published on Google Scholar and Sinta in the 2018-2023 period that were analyzed in this study. Analysis of the data used in this study is a comparison test with paired t-test using the SPSS 22 application. The results obtained were the average score for writing skills before using the CIRC learning model of 53.5 and after using the CIRC learning model of 78.2.     Language is an important thing in communication between individuals, both in oral and written form. However, it cannot be denied that language errors often occur in every language activity. In learning a second language, language errors can be experienced by students due to a lack of grammatical mastery especially in the aspect of word meaning which is very different from their first language. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to analyze language errors in the nahwu aspect in: (1) gender; (2) pronoun (dhamir); (3) phrases; and (4) vocabulary (mufradat) that occurs in insya' learning by students in Arabic extracurricular classes at MTs Almaarif 01 Singosari. Through an analysis of language errors in the nahwu aspect in the students' essays, in general it was found that several nahwu errors included mistakes in the use of gender, pronouns, phrases, and vocabulary. There were 13 errors (25%) in using gender, 16 errors (30.77%) in using dhamir, 11 mistakes in using phrases (21.15%), and 12 mistakes in using mufradat (23, 08%)

    Strategi Taboo for Taboo pada Penerjemahan Kata-Kata Tabu dalam Novel Where There’s Smoke

    The purpose of this research is to analyze taboo for taboo strategy and factors that influence in translating taboo words in the novel Where There's Smoke into Indonesian. The data for this research are taboo words in the novel Where There's Smoke and its translation in Indonesian entitled Pencarian which uses the taboo for taboo strategy in its translation. The taboo for taboo strategy maintains taboo from the source language (SL) into the target language (TL). Data collection techniques are carried out by reading and taking notes. The data analysis in this research is based on Davoodi’s theory (2009). From the research results, it was found that the taboo for taboo strategy can translate taboo words at the same taboo level as SL and taboo for taboo strategy with a lower taboo level than SL. Factors that influence the taboo for taboo strategy are the use of the same function of taboo words between SL and TL, the message and meaning conveyed are the same, the difference language systems of SL and TL, the translator's understanding of the culture of SL, the readers of the target text, translator's sociolinguistic abilities, and editor’s role

    This research aims to explain and describe the elements of semiotic theory by C.S. Pierce (icon, index, and symbol) in the Television Broadcast Sekitaran Etam for the November 2022 Period on TVRI East Kalimantan. The Sekitaran Etam uses the Kutai language with the Tenggarong dialect. This broadcast discusses the culture and local wisdom of the people of East Kalimantan. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data and data sources in this research are quotes containing icons, indexes, and symbols in the script Sekitaran Etam for the November 2022 period on TVRI East Kalimantan. The data analysis technique uses qualitative research techniques, according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification.     Students' ability in writing drama text is influenced by several factors that occur in learning. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of learning media and students' independence in learning on the skills of writing drama texts of students in class XI of SMAN 21 East Jakarta. This research used experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class XI of SMAN 21 East Jakarta. The research sample was conducted using Purposive Sampling technique as many as 60 students who were divided into two groups, where 30 students learned using family movie drama media and the other 30 people learned using conventional media. The instruments used in this study are: Learning independence questionnaire and drama text writing skill test. The results showed that the use of family film drama media gave better results in the aspects of learning independence and drama text writing skills. The use of conventional media makes students learn through several stages or indirectly.     This study aims to (1) describe the representation of culture in Indonesian textbooks grade VII, (2) describe the representation of Pancasila student profile in Indonesian textbooks grade VII. This research is a qualitative research and uses case study method with content analysis approach. The data source of this research is the seventh grade Indonesian textbook. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. Data collection was done by document analysis. The data validity test technique used was data source triangulation. The results of this study are, in the seventh grade Indonesian textbooks, cultural representations are found to be described through Koentjaraningrat's cultural elements in the form of language, technological systems, livelihood systems, social organization, knowledge systems, religious systems, and arts. Second, in the seventh grade Indonesian textbook, there is a representation of the Pancasila student profile which is divided into six dimensions, namely faith, fear of God Almighty; and noble character; global diversity; mutual cooperation; independent; critical reasoning; and creative.     Korean- English Code Mixing and Code Switching Of New Jeans’s Song

    This paper reviewed code-mixing and code-switching along with the worldwide recognition of K-Pop songs by analyzing the English usage of "Hype Boy" and "OMG" by New Jeans, a fourth-generation K-Pop group. All songs were examined using Muysken's (2000) code-mixing theory, Stockwell's (2007) code-switching theory, and Fernandez-Martinez et al.'s (2014) and Kwon's (2019) comment analysis. The results revealed that the majority of code-mixing in "Hype Boy" was insertion and the majority of code-mixing in "OMG" was alternation, but there was no congruent lexicalization found in the two songs. However, the majority of code switches in "Hype Boy" were inter-sentential, whereas "OMG" was intra-sentential, and two tag-switching data were found. Aside from that, based on audience responses in the comment section, the audience responses showed up that they were impacted by the singers' word pronunciation errors, however, a lot were also impressed with their easy-to-listen-to songs. The study finds that the accurate pronunciation and the new English language switching function seem to have played a significant role in the success of "Hype Boy" and "OMG" among bilingual audiences

    Language is the main communication tool to communicate with humans. Language acquisition is a process that occurs directly in children when they acquire language from their mother or first language, then children will get a second language through language learning. Children with special needs have language delays compared to normal children. This study aims to describe a language production, especially at the syntactic level for children with mild mental retardation. The source of the data from this study was from mild mentally retarded children at SLB Budi Asih Gombong. The data taken isn in the from of utterances that occur naturally from mild mentally retarded children. This qualitative descriptive research uses the method of gathering data of watching and fishing rods with basic tapping techniques. Then these utterances will be used for further research, to obtain language production skills specifically at the level of competence in form and function of syntax. Based on the result of the analysis, it shows that children with mild mental retardation can produce declarative, imperative, interrogative sentences in single and compound sentence

    Pemanfaatan Laman Let’s Read Kategori Cerita Rakyat sebagai Media Pembelajaran Inovatif BIPA Keterampilan Membaca

    The era of digitalization has caused learning activities to be increasingly integrated with technology. This is based on the many learning pages that can support learning objectives, one of which is the Let's Read page. This page can be used as a BIPA learning medium because the characteristics of the reading in it are appropriate to the level of knowledge of BIPA students. This research aims to analyze three forms of use of the Let's Read page in the folklore category as an innovative BIPA learning medium for reading skills. The three forms referred to are as a means of mastering vocabulary, a source of innovative reading, a means of introducing Indonesian culture and literature. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research data is in the form of sentences from interviews with BIPA students as well as the results of researchers' analysis of the Let's Read page. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The research results show that the Let's Read page in the folklore category can be used as an innovative BIPA learning medium for reading skills
