    Melacak Akar Teori Martabat Tujuh

    No full text
This writing analyzes the roots of the Seven Degrees. Linguistically, “martabat tujuh” translates to seven levels or stages. In terms of terminology, the Seven Degrees is a theory used to explain the occurrence of the universe within the framework of an emanation system. Despite being presented in various forms and versions, the theory is inherently monistic and is based on the same worldview, namely that the visible world flows from the Ultimate Singular. Upon examination, the systematic nature of the Seven Degrees can be traced back to Muhammad Ibnu Fadlillah al-Burhanpuri (d. 1620)

Asbāb al-Nuzūl Skala Mikro Konteks Kesejarahan Al-Qur’an

    No full text
The main concern of this study is how the Qur\u27an can address each of its readers in a current and contextual manner. So far, the Qur\u27an has been claimed as a religious text that remains relevant for all times and places (shāliḥ li kull zamān wa makān), whereas at the time of its revelation, the Qur\u27an (certain verses within it) had its own context (historical context). Hence, understanding the occasions of revelation (Asbāb al-Nuzūl) of the Qur\u27an becomes crucial in order to comprehend its verses

    Tasawuf dan Psikologi Islam

    No full text
This text explores psychology as part of the implicit message within the teachings of Islam. However, the psychological insights present in the Qur\u27an have not received serious attention. As a scientific discipline, psychology was only recognized in the late 18th century, but its roots can be traced back to the time of Plato. As a modern science, psychology has advanced significantly. The concept of “Nafs” (soul), which is a crucial aspect of psychological analysis, is mentioned over three hundred times in the Qur\u27an and Hadith, yet a horizontally oriented psychology did not emerge in the classical Islamic scholarly tradition. Scholars tended to discuss it more from the perspectives of ethics and Sufism, which are more vertically oriented. It was only in the 1950s that Muslim intellectuals, who studied in the West, began to show interest in the study of psychology. Furthermore, there have been efforts to offer alternative concepts of psychology, namely psychology from an Islamic perspective

    Masterpiece Etika Aristoteles

Scheler aims to offer a critical assessment of Kant’s formal ethics and seeks to overcome Kant’s formalism by proposing thoughts on material ethics

    Pemilihan Presiden dalam Islam

    No full text
Indonesia, with the largest Muslim population in the world, for the first time in 2004 conducted direct presidential elections. This certainly will serve as a reference for other Muslim nations in selecting their leaders. Islam, as the religion embraced by the majority of the Indonesian people, has undergone a long historical journey in choosing the country’s leaders or president. As a reference point, one can examine the practices of leadership selection during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (Khulafa’ Al-Rasyidin), and subsequent Islamic governance. Moreover, although the Qur’an and Sunnah do not explicitly provide a pattern for selecting leaders, Islamic thinkers have offered concepts on how the Muslim community should choose its president. The results of this study indicate that generally there are three patterns of selecting a president in Islam: the appointment pattern, the consultation pattern involving representatives of the people, and the pattern of direct election by the people
