Keefektifan Program Pembinaan Kepala Sekolah Dasar dalam Era Pendidikan Dasar 9 Tahun
Effectiveness of Development Program for the Elementary School Principals in the Nine-Year Compulsory Education Era. The aim of the research was to know the success of elementary school principals in their supervision program. The population was all elementary school principals in the district of Sitiung, Sawahlunto Sijunjung, West Sumatra. A questionnaire was used to collect data, which were then analyzed statistically by percentages. The result revealed that 36 % of the elementary school principals were moderately effective, 60 % were highly effective and 4 % were very highly effective in their job as administrators. In addition, 28% of them were moderately effective, 32 % were highly effective and 40% were highest effective in their job as instructional supervisors

Profil Kebutuhan Profesional Guru Sekolah Dasar dalam Rangka Peningkatan Mutu Pengelolaan Pengajaran
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjajaki sosok kebutuhan profesional guru SD dalam rangka peningkatan mutu pengelolaan pengajaran. Dengan survei, pengumpulan data dilakukan atas sampel purposif yang diambil dari sembilan Dati II di Jawa Timur. Data dianalisis dengan analisis isi. Ditemukan bahwa kebutuhan profesional guru SD meliputi kebutuhan ideal (normatif), kebutuhan teramati, serta kebutuhan terekspresi dan relatif, mulai dari kebutuhan yang mendasar yaitu pemahaman tujuan pendidikan nasional sampai dengan yang sangat teknis, misalnya latihan penyusunan butir-butir tes. Pemenuhan kebutuhan profesional guru SD akan berhasil apabila terdapat kerjasama Depdikbud, Dinas P dan K, kelompok kerja guru, dan PGSD/LPTK terdekat
The Increased Ability of the Third-Grade Students in Story Writing through Personal Journal Writing Instruction at the Elementary School
This study was aimed at describing the increased ability of the third grade students in story writing through the personal journal writing instruction at the elementary school of Bendogerit IV, Blitar Municipality. Nine students were chosen as the subjects of this study and they were divided into three categories of low, middle, and high achievers. The results of this study showed that the low-category students increased their writing competence of 50%, 40%, and 50% respectively. In the same way, the middle-category students progressed at different levels of 68%, 68%, and 45% respectively. Similarly, students of the fast category improved the writing ability of 45%, 72%, and 65% respectively

Hubungan CBSA dan Motivasi Berprestasi dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa SD Kelas V Kodya Blitar
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pelaksanaan CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi serta hasil belajar di Kodya Blitar, dan untuk menguji hubungan antara CBSA dengan hasil belajar, antara motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar, serta antara CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar. Populasi adalah siswa SD kelas V Kodya Blitar tahun 1993/1994. Sampling dilakukan secara rambang purposif berstrata. Data dianalisis dengan uji t, korelasi momen tangkar dan analisis regresi. Ditemukan bahwa CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi siswa di Kepanjen Kidul lebih tinggi dibandingkan di Sanan Wetan dan Sukorejo. Hasil belajar siswa di Sanan Wetan lebih tinggi dibandingkan di Kepanjen Kidul dan Sukorejo. Ada hubungan positif antara CBSA dengan hasil belajar, antara motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar, serta antara CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar

Relationship between Independence and Creativeness of Senior High School Students. The research was intended to test the correlation between the independence and the creativeness of SMU students. The sample consisted of 200 SMU students from Jember Municipality selected by proportional random sampling. The data were collected through a questionnaire and verbal test and then analyzed using regression analyses. The results indicate that there is a correlation between the independence of SMU students and their creativeness

The Implementation of School-Based Management Approach: Profile of Elementary Schools in the Underdeveloped Villages. The purpose of the study were to describe the general conditions of the school system, the input factors existing at the school, the factors or supporting conditions upon the school, the school atmosphere, the implementation of teaching-learning process, and things had been achieved by the school. Questionnaires and observation guides were used to collect the data. The research results showed that the school condition was generally good, most of the students (90%) were disadvantaged, parental or societal participation upon education was low, school autonomy and teacher commitment were low, and the students’ achievement as indicated in the scores of the national examination were not satisfactory
