Tantangan Masa Depan dan Semangat Restrukturisasi dalam Pendidikan Nasional
Menghadapi perubahan yang sulit diramalkan pada abad ke-21, negara-negara maju sudah mulai dengan perubahan-perubahan mendasar dalam pendidikannya. Perubahan tidak lagi bersifat reformasi yang lebih sesuai dengan perubahan gelombang pertama dan kedua, tetapi juga restrukturisasi yang pantas bagi perubahan gelombang ketiga. Aspek restrukturisasi yang telah dijalankan melibatkan penjaringan dana, internasionalisme, pendidikan untuk semua, individualisasi pendidikan, pendidikan untuk menciptakan pengetahuan, desentralisasi, dan memanfaatkan teknologi pendidikan dan menekan jumlah guru. Restrukturisasi bukan hal yang mudah dilaksanakan dengan dana terbatas. Namun era pasar bebas tetap menghendaki perubahan dalam praktik pendidikan. Pengerahan dana dari swasta tidak dapat dihindari
Hubungan Atensi Belajar Mahasiswa dengan Kondisi Lingkungan Kampus dan Interaksi Edukatif
This study is intended to examine the relationship between the two variables of campus environment and classroom interaction and learning attention. Seventy college students were randomly selected, and questionnaires were distributed to them. Correlational analyses as well as bivariate and multiple regression reveal that the level of learning attention improved as the quality of environment and interaction improved. Environment, classroom interaction, or both these two variables contribute significantly to learning attention by 22.1%, 18.9%, and 29.4% respectively
Keefektifan Cara Pembinaan Kepala Sekolah dan Sikap Profesional Guru SMU
This study expost facto was intended to find effective ways of developing techers’ professionalism. Data were collected from eighty high school teachers in Ambon by using questionnaire, and analyzed by using descriptive statistics and product moment correlation. The result showed that principals’ ways of guiding teachers were sufficiently effective, but they could not be used to predict teachers’ professionalism. Principals were expected to continue creating conducive learning atmosphere for teachers and students
Pengenalan Sains di Taman Kanak-kanak
Young children are natural scientists. They are curious, and interested in everything, always try to find out what will happen. As young scientists, young children use the processes of science and thing to make observation and inferences about they think in their world. They try to understand the nature of their world; they think and do at the same time. They classify and reach conclusions. They learn their world by playing. By the way, in early childhood education, the teacher must construct the environment, questioning and offer information, lead children to expand their scientific world into more conventional ways of thinking. The teacher and adult must help them to learn to know, to do, to be and to life together
Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Kewiraan Menurut Persepsi Mahasiswa
Implementation of Instruction in Kewiraan Course According to the Students. The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of teaching-learning process in Kewiraan based on the students' perception. The study involved 47 students of the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, State University of Surabaya. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed statistically by percentage and mean measures. The result showed that the quality of the teaching learning process was good enough. The mean score was 7.639, whereas the other components of the teaching-learning process range between fair (16 %) to good (84 %)
Latar Belakang Anak Pedagang Asongan Usia Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja, dan Motivasi Belajarnya
Tujuan penelitian adalah ingin mendeskripsikan latar belakang anak pedagang asongan yang meliputi tingkat pendapatan, tingkat pendidikan dan pendapatan orang tua, usia anak, tingkat pendidikan anak, dan hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan, dan motivasi kerja dan motivasi anak untuk mengikuti pendidikan. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif, tata jenjang Spearman, dan kontingensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendapatan anak cukup tinggi. Di samping itu, ada hubungan positif antara tingkat pendidikan, jenis pekerjaan orang tua dan motivasi anak untuk mengikuti pendidikan
Tingkat Keterampilan Bertanya Guru SLTP dalam Komunikasi Pembelajaran
Skills of Questioning among Junior-high-school Teachers in Classroom Interaction. The aims of the study were to investigate the level of questioning skills among junior-high-school teachers in the teaching-learning process and to explore factors contributing to the development of questioning skills. The subjects involved were 15 teachers (10 % of the population) of Indonesian, English, and Social Studies. The data were collected through a questionnaire and observation, which were then analyzed using regression, analyses of variance, correlation, and t-test. The results show that the majority of the teachers reflect questioning skills which are of fair category and only 20% of very good category. The study also reveals that training contributes to the development of questioning skills (67.14 %)

Perguruan tinggi sebagai pusat pengembangan ilmu sangat menentukan kemajuan bangsa. Keberhasilan pembinaan perguruan tinggi sebagai pusat ilmiah merupakan modal dan embrio menuju masyarakat industri maju. Pengembangannya harus senantiasa bertumpu pada dasar filsafat hidup bangsa agar tidak lepas dari realitas dan idealitas kehidupan. Pancasila sebagai filsafat hidup bangsa Indonesia perlu diderivasikan ke dalam kehidupan ilmiah di perguruan tinggi agar dapat fungsional dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas perkembangan ilmu di Indonesia
Masalah yang Dialami Wanita Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) dan Implikasinya bagi Bimbingan Konseling
This studi was aimed at describing the problems faced by women working as street-vendors. The sample consisted of 98 female street-vendors (PKL) in five cities of West Sumatera using cluster proportional random sampling. The data were collected through interview and analyzed statistically using percentage technique. The findings indicated that the problems faced by the women in household were lack of time to educate their children and conflicts with their husbands. The problems seemed to have some implications to the practices of guidance and counseling done through the out-of-school programs
Kemampuan Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dalam Penggunaan Kata Depan
This study was designed to describe the pupils' ability in using prepositions. Data were collected from 112 fourth graders of elementary schools in Sentul, Blitar Municipality, by observing and evaluating their compositions. The analysis was focused on describing the fequency and accuracy of the use of monomorphemic and polymorphemic prepositions. It was found out that 82.41 % of the pupils used the monomorphemic prepositions accurately, and 100 % of them used the polymorphemic prepositions accurately. The total accurate use was 85.48 %
