    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam melaksanakan wajib belajar dilihat dari komponen guru, sarana dan prasarana. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 sekolah/kepala sekolah dan 206 guru MI yang tersebar di wilayah kecamatan Singosari, Pujon, Bantur, dan Tajinan Kabupaten Malang. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, wawancara dan observasi, dan hasilnya dianalisis dengan statistik rerata (mean). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa komponen guru cukup siap melaksanakan wajib belajar, sedangkan komponen sarana dan prasarana belum siap dalam mewujudkan pelaksanaan wajib belajar

    The purpose of the study was to obtain information among teachers of Physical Education (PE) in Special Capital District of Jakarta concerning their teaching practice. The sample, 79 in number, was taken from a population of teachers of PE in elementary schools, graduating from senior high schools and from PE program of SGO, DIII, and S1. The results reveal that the teaching practice emphasized the development of children’s physical aspect (48.27%), followed by cognitive and affective aspects.     This classroom action research was intended to improve teacher’s competence in helping children learn science. Learning-cycle approach was implemented in the third grade of Kepanjenlor IV Elementary School in Blitar. The class teacher graduated from DIII program in Civics and had been teaching science just for one year. The data were collected through observation and interview. The results indicate that the approach improved the teacher’s competence in developing instructional design, which was of very-good category, and in helping children learn science, which was of good category

    This study was intended to examine whether safety-training, working experience, working position and managerial support influence in the workers' attitudes toward safety priority. The population were low level education workers in East Jawa industries. It was found that safety-training, working experience, working position and managerial support significantly influence in their attitudes toward safety priority. The contribution of all predictors were 47.7 %. Individually, safety training and working experience significantly contribute to the attitudes. While safety training shared 29.4 % and working experience shared 9.4 %, the contribution of working position and managerial supports were not significant
