    Filsafat pendidikan orang dewasa adalah cabang filsafat pendidikan yang mempelajari dasar-dasar filosofis dan hakikat tujuan pendidikan orang dewasa. Aliran pendidikan humanisme orang dewasa menitikberatkan tujuan pendidikan pada pengembangan manusia otentik yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menghadapi kerumitan dan masalah hidup modern. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, pendidikan humanistik harus bersifat manusiawi, dengan memperhatikan aspek kebutuhan dan minat orang dewasa. Tema-tema utama pendidikan orang dewasa menurut pandangan humanistik adalah pendidikan yang berpusat pada subjek didik, proses belajar aktif dan mandiri, serta fungsi guru sebagai fasilitator

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran pandangan siswa dan mahasiswa tentang peranan wanita dalam kegiatan keluarga, kerja, dan kemasyarakatan. Sampel berjumlah 232 orang siswa/mahasiswa dari 6 kelas dari siswa SMTA dan 6 kelas dari PT di Malang yang diambil secara rambang menurut kluster. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket sikap. Dengan analisis deskriptif, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa mahasiswa dan siswa SMTA menyetujui peran ganda wanita. Namun, menurut mereka, peran utama wanita adalah sebagai ibu rumah tangga yang harus bertanggung jawab terhadap pendidikan anak-anaknya. Disarankan agar ada bentuk-bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi gender di kalangan mahasiswa dan siswa SMTA

    Effectiveness of the Abacus Use in Mathematics Instruction at the Elementary School. This classroom action research was designed to examine the effectiveness of using abacus usage to improve students comprehension on addition and subtraction in story problems. The study involved 1 teacher and 32 students of the Elementary-Laboratory School (SD Laboratorium), State University of Malang. The results showed that the abacus use could improve the students comprehension in learning addition and subtraction stated in story problems. The students mean score was increased from 59.30 in 1st cycle to 78.13 in 2nd cycle

Keterampilan motorik yang diajarkan harus sesuai dengan tingkat pertumbuhan, perkembangan motorik dan kebutuhan. Pelatih juga harus mempertimbangkan kemampuan anak menggunakan rasio karena belajar motorik merupakan suatu proses, bukan hasil.     Correlation between Activities in Pengajian and Learning Guidance in a Religious School and Achievement in Schools. The study aimed to investigate the correlation between students' activities on pengajian and learning guidance in a religious school and learning achievement at their schools. The subjects were students in junior and senior high schools participating in religious schools. The data were collected through questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The result revealed that there was a positive correlation between students' activities in the religious school and their learning achievement in the school. The determinat factors were religious motivation and cooperative learning method applied in the religious school

    This research aimed at understanding and explaining the metacognition that the lecturers experienced in their teaching. The subjects of this case study were 9 lecturers of IKIP Nusantara; the case was the metacognition of the nine lecturers, and the analysis units were their respective lectures. The data were comprised of the lecturers’ teaching acts, the process of their metacognition and their personal perception and philosophy in the forms of verbal self-reports obtained from interview. The findings show that the quality of instruction depends on the quality of the lecturers’ metacognition. Therefore, the realization of the comprehensive goals of education in the process of learning and teaching lies on the willingness and seriousness of the lecturers to monitor and tailor their teaching and learning according to the true concept of education

    Gaya kepemimpinan ketua dan interaksi kelompok merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi angota kelompok dasa wisma dalam upaya memelihara kebersihan lingkungan. Gaya kepemimpinan dilihat dari aspek kepemimpinan ketua, sedangkan aspek interaksi kelompok dilihat dari kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Masalahnya adalah: apakah terdapat perbedaan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan interaksi kelompok terhadap tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok. Penelitian ini ingin melihat perbedaan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan interaksi kelompok terhadap tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok. Disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan ketua mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok. Demikian pula interaksi kelompok, baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya
