    The Relevance of Carl Gustav Jung's Philosophy on Androgynity to the Gender Equality in Education. Androgynity concept means that everyone carries within them the feminine and masculine aspects as two eternal images, coexisting as equal and complementary parts of balanced cosmic system. Androgynity concept functions as a pair of opposites complementary, profoundly influencing the relation of all men and women with each other. Based on the research, understanding androgynity concept is important to make both man and women become consciuos of each other's psychic reality and have consciousness of gender equality, mainly in education.     The Implementation of Dual System of Education: A Case Study at the Secondary School of Craft Industry Jepara. The study aims at exploring the characteristics of implementation of the dual system of education (PSG) at Secondary School of Craft Industry Jepara and at its counterpart institutions, and trying to find the constraints faced by the school and the counterpart institutions. The key persons of this qualitative case-study research were administrators and instructors of six small and medium scale industries. An in-depth interview, observation and documentation were used to collect data. Domain analysis was employed to analyze the data. Triangulation method was intended to obtain validity of the collected data. The findings indicate that the PSG was implemented as a field work ‘plus’, the majority of industry units involved were of small scale, the school council did not effectively mediate the school and the industry units, the PSG did not result in the expected added values yet, and there were many constraints faced by the school and the industry units in implementing the program

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam melaksanakan wajib belajar dilihat dari komponen guru, sarana dan prasarana. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 sekolah/kepala sekolah dan 206 guru MI yang tersebar di wilayah kecamatan Singosari, Pujon, Bantur, dan Tajinan Kabupaten Malang. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, wawancara dan observasi, dan hasilnya dianalisis dengan statistik rerata (mean). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa komponen guru cukup siap melaksanakan wajib belajar, sedangkan komponen sarana dan prasarana belum siap dalam mewujudkan pelaksanaan wajib belajar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam melaksanakan wajib belajar dilihat dari komponen guru, sarana dan prasarana.     Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa PGSD terhadap tugas-tugas akademik yang diberikan oleh dosen dalam mata kuliah Pendidikan IPA. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket atas sampel total sebanyak 55 orang mahasiswa PGSD IKIP Ujung Pandang. Analisis dilakukan dengan statistik persentase. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa cukup baik terhadap jenis kegiatan akademik, hadir secara tertib dalam kegiatan tatap muka, berani mengajukan pertanyaan tentang materi yang tidak dimengerti, tertib dalam mengikuti kegiatan diskusi, tertib dalam kegiatan praktikum, dan berupaya menyelesaikan semua pekerjaan rumah

    Evaluation Study on the Implementation of D-II Equivalent Program of Elementary School Teacher Education. The study aimed to evaluate the implementation of D-II Equivalent Program of Elementary School Teacher Education, concerning the evaluation of the curriculum, students, teaching-learning process, academic staff, facilities, and the shortcomings. The study was carried out in Blitar and Jombang, involving 337 subjects comprising students, tutors, instructors of practical work, and supervisors. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, documentation study, and observation and then analyzed using statistics of percentages. The results indicate that the implementation of the curriculum is mostly relevant to the guidelines and that there are shortcomings in implementing the program, especially concerning the availability of the modules and the late acceptance of them

    This study was aimed at developing a battery of high school student alienation called SASSM (Skala Alienasi Siswa Sekolah Menengah). It refered to pooling items, searching the dimensions, the characteristics, and the reliability of the dimensions. The data were collected through discussion, literature review, Q-sorting, and questionnaire. The 100 pooled items were identified. The exploratory factor analysis extracted 7 dimensions consisted of 47 items. By using confirmatory factor analysis, the same dimensions and items were confirmed. These dimensions were task powerlessness, social powerlessness, meaninglessness, self-estrangement, value isolation, lovelessness, and joylessness

    The study aimed to describe the relevance of vocational-school programs to job-vacancy requirements. Proportional cluster random sampling was employed to take the sample. Data were collected using documentation, observation, questionnaire, and interview and then analyzed for their content and percentage. The results show that vocational school’s programs had relatively a high relevance to job vacancy (66%). Among graduates of vocational schools, improving skills was done through courses, experience, and information from fellows and industry. Self-study and working experience were found useful to improve knowledge

    Study on Educational Costs in Elementary Schools. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of educational cost on the educational quality. A descriptive analytic approach was applied in this study. Data were gathered by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentary study in all Public Elementary Schools in Kabupaten Bandung. The data were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by correlation and regression. It could be concluded from data analyses that the cost had a little impact upon educational quality improvement in elementary schools. The were some components of cost significantly contributing to the learning-teaching process and to the quality of learning outcomes

    Perilaku agresif adalah luapan emosi sebagai reaksi kegagalan remaja yang dimanifestasikan dalam kata dan sikap-perilaku. Penelitian ini ingin menguji hubungan antara perlakuan orangtua dan perilaku agresif remaja. Penelitian dilakukan atas siswa SMAN di Malang. Sampel multistage terdiri atas siswa SMA pusat kota dan pinggiran kota. Data dikumpulkan dengan inventori perilaku agresif dan inventori pola sikap orangtua. Analisis dilakukan dengan korelasi momen tangkar dan regresi umum. Ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pola sikap orangtua dan perilaku agresif anak (remaja). Namun pola sikap demokratis memberi sumbangan yang kecil terhadap pembentukan perilaku agresif
