    Prevalensi Anak Berbakat Intelektual di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Favorit

    Anak berbakat merupakan potensi sumber daya manusia yang penting bagi pembangunan. Apabila tidak mendapat layanan pendidikan yang memadai, anak berbakat cenderung berprestasi di bawah potensinya. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui prevalensi dan karakteristik anak berbakat intelektual di SD Negeri favorit di Kotamadya Malang. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes inteligensi dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik persentase. Diperoleh hasil bahwa prevalensi anak berbakat intelektual di SD Negeri favorit di Kotamadya Malang adalah sebanyak 119 orang atau 15,23 persen. Pada umumnya anak berbakat intelektual menunjukkan karakteristik positif, dan hanya sedikit anak berbakat intelektual yang menunjukkan karakteristik negatif

    The study aims to examine the effects of volleyball games on students’ physical fitness. This experimental study included Gandu Volleyball and Mini Volleyball with game-part-game and part-game instructional patterns. Forty students of Karanggandu Elementary School were involved, comprising twenty boys of grade 5 and twenty boys of grade 6. The results of two-way analysis of variance and Tukey tests indicate that Gandu Volleyball is better than Mini Volleyball for students’ physical fitness in the game-part-game instructional pattern, but there is no significant difference between the two in the part-game instructional pattern. There is an effect of interaction between instructional pattern and types of volleyball games on students’ physical fitness

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan sederhana siswa SD kelas tinggi dalam mengerjakan soal matematika. Sampel ditarik secara purposif sebanyak 321 siswa kelas V dan VI SDN Kauman 1, Sawojajar 1, Madyopuro 1, dan Sawojajar 5, semuanya di kota Malang. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes isian yang berjumlah 29 item soal. Analisis dilakukan dengan statistik persentase dan analisis varian satu jalur melalui paket program SPSS/PC+. Disimpulkan bahwa siswa SDN kelas tinggi melakukan kesalahan sederhana dalam mengerjakan soal matematika dalam materi bilangan pecahan, operasi aljabar, KPK, FPB, dan soal cerita. Terdapat perbedaan persentase rerata kesalahan siswa kelas tinggi, baik pada kelas V maupun kelas VI

    Iqro Method for Teaching Reading and Writing in the Early Years of Elementary School. The study was aimed at finding alternatives for teaching reading and writing in the early years of elementary school. The Iqro method, which is known as the successful method of learning Arabic, was adapted and modified into the teaching and learning of Indonesian. An action research design was employed, involving 22 first graders of SDN Sumbersari 3, Malang.     The study was intended to explore teachers’ speech acts in the teaching-learning process of Bahasa Indonesia in the fourth grade of elementary schools. A descriptive-qualitative design was employed and data were collected from fourth-grade teachers of Bahasa Indonesia in elementary schools in Blitar through observation, interview, and field notes. Data analysis was carried out while and after collecting the data. The results indicate that the teachers used a variety of speech acts proportionally and effectively in accordance with developmental theories by Austin, Searle, Flanders, Sinclair and Coulthard, and Burton. The teachers’ speech acts reflect the success of communicative interaction in the teaching-learning process
