    Kreativitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa SD yang Memperoleh Pengajaran dengan Pendekatan Sinektika dan CBSA dalam Bidang Studi IPS

     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, sikap kreatif, dan hasil belajar IPS para siswa yang memperoleh pengajaran dengan pendekatan sinektika dan dengan pendekatan CBSA. Populasi adalah 117 orang siswa. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas atau 77 orang siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan Tes Kreativitas Verbal, Skala Sikap Kreatif, dan Tes IPS. Analisis dilakukan dengan uji t. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa antara siswa yang memperoleh pengajaran dengan pendekatan sinektika dan siswa yang memperoleh pengajaran dengan pendekatan CBSA terdapat perbedaan dalam sikap kreatif, tidak terdapat perbedaan dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan tidak terdapat perbedaan dalam hasil belajar bidang studi IPS

    This experimental study aimed at investigating the influence of booklet media toward students’ knowledge and attitude toward narcotics abuse. Pre-test post test design was used and the subjects were 40 students who were divided into two groups. One group received information about narcotics abuse and dangerous drugs from booklets and the other did not. Data on students’ knowledge were collected by using learning achievement test, and data on students’ attitude were taken by using Likert attitude scale. Varian analysis was used to analyze data. The result showed that independently, the students’ knowledge and attitude were not different. In pairs, in the treatment group, there was difference in students’ knowledge

    This study was aimed at describing the problems faced by kindergarten students as seen by teachers and parents The data were collected from 12 kindergarten teachers and 245 parents, selected using the cluster random sampling technique, by using questionnaires. In addition, interviews were done with teachers. The results indicated that there were five problems faced by kindergarten students: social, emotional, moral, understanding-development, and language. The findings imply that role playing, modeling, and group guidance be implemented by kindergarten teachers in counseling processes

Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen di Unibraw dan IKIP Malang. Hasilnya menunjukkan antara lain bahwa pengelolaan dana masyarakat di lembaga pendidikan tinggi tersebut belum sesuai dengan harapan

    This study aimed to investigate correlation between teacher meeting in teacher supervision organization (KKG) and teachers' teaching competence. It was conducted in public elementary schools in Singosari Malang. The sampel consisted of 48 teachers of 20 public elementary schools taken by cluster proporsional random sampling. The data was collected by questionnaires and observation. The result showed that there was correlation between teachers participation in the meeting and their competence. All activities in the teachers meeting have correlation with teaching competence of teachers

    Philosophical Perspective on Dialectics Paradigm in Education. Education, which aims at changing learners' behaviors, is now confirmed with dialectics paradigm. Behavioristic thesis states that the changing of the behaviors is determined by factors external to the learners through environment condusive for them to develop. The anti-thesis, which is of constructivism, believes that the changing is merely caused by the internal factors of the learners, mainly related to their cognitive competence. As each of the two paradigms bears its own strengths and weaknesses, a new synthesis in education is needed, and dialectics paradigm, which is inspired by philosophical dialectics, seems to be the alternative

    The aim of this survey is to investigate the relationship between achievement motivation and interpersonal communication competence and the effectiveness of classroom management. Using multi-state sampling technique, this study involved 42 teacher respondents. Questionnaires were distributed, which were then statistically analyzed using regression. It was revealed that achievement motivation and interpersonal communication competence, both individually and aggregately, contribute to the effectiveness of classroom management

    The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of family education and mass media on students’ attitudes toward sex education. Using correlational design, the study involved 93 third-semester students of Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, who were selected out of 125 students using multistage random sampling technique. The data, which were collected through questionnaire, were analyzed using Pearson's product moment correlation, t-test, and multiple regression. The results indicate that family education and mass media had a significant effect on students’ attitudes toward sex education
