Get PDFKarimun Regency is a coastal area where coastal coastal areas are one of the areas that have many problems, especially in the field of public health. Health problems in coastal areas are a very complex problem. Various efforts have been made by the Karimun District Health Office in improving health services and facilities, especially for tuberculosis prevention. However, overall tuberculosis cases in Meral District, Karimun Regency continued to increase from previous years. The implementation of the tuberculosis prevention program policy in Meral Subdistrict has not been carried out optimally even though tuberculosis officers in the Meral District have tried to run the tuberculosis prevention program. There are several obstacles in the implementation of pulmonary tuberculosis prevention programs including the lack of facilities and special health workers for tuberculosis, low awareness of tuberculosis sufferers to reduce tuberculosis transmission, and the patient's low knowledge of the risk of tuberculosis

This study aims to unravel the problems faced by Sociology students at Makassar State University, namely the phenomenon of being trapped on social media. Qualitative research methods are used to unravel the changes that arise because of social media, purposive sampling was used to determine the quality of the informants to be interviewed, documentation guarantees the authenticity of the information and data contained in the document, and library studies are used to add references to similar problems. The conclusions from the results of this study indicate the form of entrapment of informants on social media as follows: with high access and activity on social media, the habit of making the media as a source of information is full of hoaxes, there is a change in consumption activities by online game user informants, namely the consumption of pseudo commodities that have a lot of risk. Get PDFThis Research of district election committee secretariat as work principle in the regent and vice-regent election of Agam 2015. District Election Committee (DEC) Secretariat for the Agam Regent and Vice-Regent Election 2015 was appointed by the current Agam Regent. The regent who appointed the DEC Secretariat for the election of Agam Regent and Vice-Regent 2015 nominated himself to be the Agam Regent for the 2016-2021 period. This research uses the qualitative descriptive method and is intended to describe and analyze the principles of the electoral management bodies which apply to the DEC Secretariat in carrying out the Agam Regent and Vice-Regent Election 2015. This research uses 7 (seven) core principles of electoral management bodies, which are independent, impartial, integrity, transparent, efficient, professional, and willingness to serve. The result of this research shows that (1) District Election Committee (DEC) Secretariat for the election of Agam Regent and Vice-Regent 2015 could not fully exercise the principles of organizing election and (2) there are 3 factors that influence the DEC Secretariat in carrying out the Agam Regent and Vice-Regent Election 2015, which are regulation, communication, and competence. Get PDFCooperation between ASEAN and South Korea has been established since 1989. Until now, various kinds of cooperation have been implemented, one of which is the ASEAN-Korea Centre, an intergovernmental organization that aims to promote exchanges between South Korea and ASEAN member countries. Indonesia, as one of the member countries of ASEAN-Korea Centre, implements its foreign policy based on active and independent principle through the various role in supporting ASEAN-Korea Centre programs. This research is aimed to analyse the roles that Indonesia plays in the ASEAN-Korea Centre using the concept of national role conceptions from Holsti. The process of collecting and analyzing data is done by qualitative methods through the process of interviews, literature studies and content analysis. The result shows that Indonesia has a national role conception as a regional leader, active independent, and regional-subsystem collaborator in the ASEAN-Korea Centre. Indonesia's national role in the ASEAN-Korea Centre has strengthened Indonesia's international reputation and supported a variety of Indonesian diplomacy in ASEAN
EFEKTIVITAS PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN DESA: STUDI PADA PEMERINTAHAN DESA DI KOTA SAWAHLUNTO
Get PDFThis research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of village financial management in the Village Government in Sawahlunto City and the factors that influence it. The method used by researchers in analyzing the results of this study is to use a descriptive analysis method. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data from the Very Disadvantaged Villages, Disadvantaged Villages and Developing Villages. The results of this study indicate that the process of compiling village planning and designation as stipulated in the Village RPJM and RKPDesa refers to Minister Regulation No. 114 of 2014 and village financial management that refers to Permendagri Number 113 of 2014 and Sawahlunto Mayor Regulation regarding the amount of the village budget. The effectiveness of the absorption of village funds obtained from the results of this study shows the level of achievement of the realization of village finances reached 97.22% -100%. The factors that influence the effectiveness of village financial management are the quality of human resources, technology utilization, internal control systems, village financial supervision, and community participation

A CRITICAL REVIEW OF THE IMPACT OF MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS (MNCS) ON INDONESIAN ECONOMY
Get PDFMultinational Corporations (MNCs) undoubtedly have an important contribution to the development of national economy of a particular country. Indonesia is not without exception. Nevertheless, many experts are critical on the negative effects brought by MNCs. This study is set to survey the extant literatures on the impact of FDI/MNCs on Indonesian economy. Based on the critical review of these literatures, the study suggets that MNCs might bring both favorable and unfavorable impacts on the national economy of Indonesia. The economic spillovers, technology transfer, and boosting trade performance are mostly higlighted favorable impacts. The involvement of MNCs in the country’s economy is considered to be an easy way or short-cut for the government to engineer economic growth. On the other hand, MNCs are also considered harmful to the country’s economy. Some of mostly highlighted negative impacts of MNCs are creating dependent development, limited technology transfer, labor exploitation, encouraging government collusive practices, and environmental damage
