    Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Blended Learning terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Materi Reaksi Redoks

    Based on the results of the study, the percentage of critical thinking skills in the experimental class for each indicator namely giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, making further explanations, strategies and tactics, respectively, were 82%, 63%, 72%, 68% 67%. The control class for each indicator namely giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, making further explanations, strategies and tactics are 76%, 54%, 59%, 56%, 52%, respectively. The percentage results of the experimental class learning motivation questionnaire for each indicator namely attention, relevance, belief, and satisfaction respectively 84%, 83%, 87.4%, 83%, the control class for each indicator namely attention, relevance, belief, and satisfaction are 76.3%, 81%, 77%, 74.4% with the result that the blended learning strategy affects critical thinking skills and learning motivation of class X students on redox reaction material at SMAN 1 Balaesang.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Blended Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X materi reaksi redoks di SMAN 1 Balaesang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari tahun 2022. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuntitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 1 dan MIA 2 SMAN 1 Balaesang berjumlah 54 0rang di antaranya 27 siswa MIA 1 dan 27 siswa MIA 2. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa persentase kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen untuk tiap indikator yaitu memberi penjelasan sederhana, membangun keterampilan dasar, menyimpulkan, membuat penjelasan lanjut, strategi dan taktik berturut-turut adalah 82%, 63%, 72%, 68% 67%. Kelas kontrol untuk tiap indikator yaitu memberi penjelasan sederhana, membangun keterampilan dasar, menyimpulkan, membuat penjelasan lanjut, strategi dan taktik berturut-turut adalah 76%, 54%, 59%, 56%, 52%. Hasil persentase angket motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen untuk tiap indikator yaitu perhatian, relevansi, keyakinan, dan kepuasan berturut-turut 84%, 83%, 87,4%, 83%, kelas kontrol untuk tiap indikator yaitu perhatian, relevansi, keyakinan, dan kepuasan berturut-turut adalah 76,3%, 81%, 77%, 74,4% sehingga strategi pembelajaran blended learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X materi reaksi redoks di SMAN 1 Balaesang

    Determination of Total Levels of White Turmeric Flavonoids (Curcuma zedoria Rosc.) with Variation of Solvent Types. White turmeric (Curcuma zedoria Rosc.) is a herbal plant that has many health benefits in healing several diseases. It can grow wild in the open with moist soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the total levels of white turmeric flavonoids with various types of solvents. The solvents used in were water and ethanol. The quantitative test of flavonoids in the White Turmeric extract used a quercetin standard solution curve. The samples were analyzed by UV-Vis spectrophotometry at a maximum wavelength of 435 nm.     Analisis Kadar Kalsium (Ca) pada Tulang Ikan Sidat (Anguilla marmorata) di Danau Poso

    Fish bones are one of the solid wastes from fish processing. Utilization of fish bones into flour can be an alternative in tackling fish bones. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of calcium (Ca) in the bones of eel (Anguilla marmorata) in Poso Lake. Calcium levels were determined using complexometric titration. The results showed that the calcium levels in eel bones were 31.2426 mg/100g, 28.4568 mg/100g and 26.052 mg/100g.Tulang ikan merupakan salah satu limbah padat dari pengolahan ikan. Pemanfaatan tulang ikan menjadi tepung bisa menjadi alternative dalam menanggulangi tulang ikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kadar kalsium (Ca) Pada Tulang Ikan Sidat (Anguilla Marmorata) Di Danau Poso. Kadar kalsium ditentukan menggunakan titrasi kompleksometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar kalsium pada tulang ikan sidat yaitu 31,2426 mg/100g, 28,4568 mg/100g dan 26,052 mg/100g

    Uji Daya Hambat Ekstrak Lengkuas (Alpinia galanga) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Jamur Candida albicans

    Galangal (Alpinia galanga) is a nutritious plant that can cure various diseases. This part of the plant, such as the rhizome, functions as a traditional medicine. This study aims to determine the inhibition of the fungus Candida albicans using galangal extract. Galangal extract was made using three different kinds of the solvents, namely hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol. The suspension of Candida albicans fungus was obtained from the Biology Laboratory, FMIPA, Tadulako University. Fungal test using the well method. The results showed that the inhibitory power of galangal extract against the growth of Candida albicans using ethyl acetate and methanol was greater than that of hexane.     Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas XI pada Materi Larutan Elektrolit dan Non Elektrolit

    This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Palu on the material of Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solutions. This research is a descriptive research. The sample of this study was 60 students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Palu. The data collected was in the form of critical thinking ability test results obtained by giving questions in essay form as many as 7 valid questions. Furthermore, the data collected was analyzed based on indicators of critical thinking skills which include interpretation, analysis, inference, and evaluation respectively 45.50%, 27.08%, 27.08%, and 23.54%. The average result for all indicators of critical thinking ability of students in class XI MIPA is 32.53%. This shows that the critical thinking skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Palu are still lacking. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI MIPA SMANegeri 5 Palu pada materi Larutan Elektrolit dan Non Elektrolit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Palu sejumlah 60 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diperoleh melalui pemberian soal dalam bentuk essay sebanyak 7 butir soal yang valid. Selanjutnya data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis berdasarkan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yang meliputi interpretasi, analisis, inferensi, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI MIPA pada indikator interpretasi, analisis, inferensi, dan evaluasi berturut-turut sebesar 45,50%, 27,08%, 27,08%, dan 23,54%. Rata-rata hasil untuk seluruh indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI MIPA yaitu 32,53%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Palu masih kurang

    This research is an experimental study with a completely randomized design (CRD). Determination of tenderness and pH in rejected laying hens using different concentrations of pineapple extract using Anova data analysis in the SPSS 21 program, then continued with the LSD test. The result of the study obtained different levels of tenderness, pH in rejected laying hens usingdifferent concentrations of pineapple extract. The highest level oftenderness was found in the T3 treatment (25 g + 30 ml) which was0.442%. The lowest level of tenderness was found in treatment T0 (25 g) which was 0.382%. The highest pH content was found in the T0 treatment (25 g + 30 ml) which was 4.71%. The result of the Flipbook E-Modul test based on content expert validator and media experts are suitable for us as learning media with a percentage of 70% and 74%, according to design expert and students validator are very suitable to be used with a percentage of 83.64%, 85.75%, while the average the overall average by content, design, media and student groups is appriate of 78.38%.Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan teknik pengempukan daging ayam petelur afkir menggunakan ekstrak buah nanas, menentukan konsentrasi ekstrak buah nanas yang terbaik dalam pengempukkan daging ayam petelur afkir dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan dalam bentuk E-Modul Flipbook. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penentuan  keempukan dan pH pada daging ayam petelur afkir menggunakan konsentrasi ekstrak buah nanas yang berbeda menggunakan analisis data Anova pada program SPSS 21, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan berbeda-beda tingkat keempukan, pH, pada daging ayam petelur afkir menggunakan konsentrasi ekstrak buah nanas yang berbeda. Tingkat keempukan tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan T3 (25 g + 30 ml) yaitu 0,442 %. Tingkat terendah keempukan terdapat pada perlakuan T0 (25 g) yaitu 0,382 %. Kandungan pH tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan T0 (25 g) yaitu 6,317 %. Kandungan pH terendah terdapat pada perlakuan T3 (25 g + 30 ml) yaitu 4,71%. Hasil uji E-Modul Flipbook berdasarkan validator ahli isi dan ahli media layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan persentase 70% dan 74%, menurut validator ahli desain dan mahasiswa sangat layak digunakan dengan persentase 83,64%, 85,75%, sedangkan rata-rata keseluruhan oleh ahli isi, desain, media dan kelompok mahasiswa layak digunakan dengan persentase 78,38%

    Identifikasi Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder Pada Batang dan Daun Lamun (Seagrass) di Teluk Palu

    This study aims to determine the content of secondary metabolites in the stems and leaves of seagrass (Seagrass) found in Palu Bay. The method used in this study is the screening method. The samples used were stems and leaves of seagrass species Enhalus acoroides, Thalasia hemprichii, and Sringodium isotifolium. The types of compounds identified in this study were alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, triterpenoids, saponins, and tannins. Before the qualitative test on the sample, maceration was carried out for 24 hours with ethanol as a solvent. The results obtained were the type of seagrass Enhalus acoroides, the stems contain alkaloids, flavonoids, triterpenoids, and tannins, the leaves contain alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, saponins, and tannins. Syringodium isoetifolium seagrass contains alkaloids, titerpenoids, saponins, and tannins, the leaves contain alkaloids, steroids, and tannins. Seagrass Thalasia hemprichii contains alkaloids, flavonoids, titerpenoids, and tannins, the leaves contain alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, and tannins. Thalasia hemprichii and Sringodium isotifolium.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder pada batang dan daun lamun (Seagrass)  yang terdapat di Teluk Palu. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode skrining. Sampel yang digunakan adalah batang dan daun lamun jenis Enhalus acoroides, Thalasia hemprichii dan Sringodium isotifolium. Adapun jenis senyawa yang diidentifikasi pada penelitian ini yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, triterpenoid, saponin dan tanin. Sebelum dilakukan uji kualitatif pada sampel, dilakukan maserasi selama 24 jam dengan pelarut etanol. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu jenis lamun Enhalus acoroides,pada batangnya mengandung  alkaloid, flavonoid, triterpenoid, dan tanin, daunnya mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, saponin, dan tanin. Lamun Syringodium isoetifolium mengandung alkaloid,titerpenoid, saponin, dan tanin, daunnya mengandung alkaloid, steroid, dan tanin.     Red betel is a vines that can grow in the tropics. This plant is known to the public as an ornamental plant and one of the traditional medicines to cure several types of diseases. This study aims to determine the level of potassium (K) contained in red betel leaf (Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav). Potassium contents determined using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). The results showed that the water content of red betel leaf was 84,6%, the ash content was 2,27% and the biomass content was 13,13%. While the average level of potassium in red betel leaf is 494,175 mg/100g.Sirih merah merupakan tanaman merambat yang dapat tumbuh di daerah tropis. Tanaman ini dikenal masyarakat sebagai tanaman hias dan merupakan salah satu obat tradisional untuk menyembuhkan beberapa jenis penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar kalium (K) yang terdapat dalam sirih merah (Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav). Penentuan kadar kalium menggunakan alat spektrofotometer serapan atom (SSA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar air daun sirih merah sebesar 84,6%, kadar abu sebesar 2,27% dan kadar biomassa sebesar 13,13%.     Pare (Momordica charantia L.) is a plant that grows in the tropics, namely Asia, the Amazon (South America), East Africa and the Caribbean. The bitter taste of this fruit gives rise to several benefits including stimulating appetite, curing jaundice, improving digestion. Bitter taste in bitter melon is caused by the content of momordicosides of the triterpene glucoside group or kukurtibacin. This study aims to determine the levels of flavonoids in bitter melon (Momordica charantia L.). The method used in this research is the maceration extraction method using ethanol as a solvent. The extraction results were analyzed qualitatively by adding Mg and HCl powder to determine the presence of flavonoid compounds. While the quantitative test was carried out using the differential pH method in an acidic atmosphere, namely at pH 1 and pH 4.5. Determination of flavonoid content of bitter melon extract using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at 520 nm and 700 nm wavelengths. The results obtained in the qualitative test showed that the bitter melon extract contained positive flavonoids. The results of the quantitative test showed that the total flavonoid content in the bitter melon extract was 0.41 mg/100 g.Pare (Momordica charantia L.) adalah suatu tanaman yang tumbuh didaerah tropis yaitu daerah Asia, Amazon (Amerika Selatan), Afrika Timur dan Karibia. Rasa pahit buah ini menimbulkan beberapa manfaat diantaranya merangsang nafsu makan, menyembuhkan penyakit kuning, melancarkan pencernaan. Rasa pahit pada buah pare disebabkan oleh kandungan momordikosida golongan glukosida triterpen atau kukurtibasin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar flavonoid pada buah pare (Momordica charantia L.). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode ekstraksi maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol. Hasil ekstraksi dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menambahkan serbuk Mg dan HCl untuk mengetahui keberadan senyawa flavonoid. Sedangkan uji kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Ph differensial pada suasana asam yaitu pada Ph 1 dan Ph 4,5. Penentuan kadar flavonoid  ekstrak buah pare menggunakan alat spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 520 nm dan 700 nm. Hasil yang diperoleh  pada uji kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah pare positif mengandung flavonoid. Hasil uji kuantitatif diperoleh kadar flavonoid total pada ektrak buah pare sebesar 0,41 mg/100 g

    Tingkah Laku Bertelur Burung Maleo (Macrochepalon maleo S. Muller) di Taman Nasional Lore Lindu (TNLL) Blok Saluki

    Knowledge of behavior is very important to maintain the habitat of the maleo as an endemic animal to Sulawesi that must be preserved. Research takes place in March-December 2021. The research location is in the Saluki Lore Lindu National Park, Central Sulawesi Province. The study took place in March-December 2021. The findings targeted in the study are: (1) Information on egg-laying behavior, (2). When laying eggs, (3) After laying eggs, (4) Determining the length of time for laying eggs, (5) Physical characteristics of the nest and vegetation. The research method used the survey method. Observations of maleo bird activity were carried out every day for 3 months in the egg-laying season from May to July. The results showed that the physical condition of the average nest depth was 67.78 cm, the average nest width was 52.78 cm, the average nest temperature was 33.44°C, the nest humidity was 76.11% and, the soil acidity (pH) with an average of 6.35. The vegetation found at the nesting site consisted of 18 species. The maleo maleo bird's egg-laying behavior activities are playing, snooping (observation), and making a trick hole. There were four activities of female maleo bird laying behavior, namely playing, digging holes for laying eggs, lurking, making trick holes and laying eggs. The duration of time needed by male maleo birds when playing, snooping, making holes, until the female finishes laying eggs, which takes 92 minutes.
