    Numbered Heads Together model with PhET simulation as media is one kind of learning model that has the same principle like inquiry which is emphasized at integrating knowledge actively between experience or prior knowledge and new knowledge by students's active role through learning process which is helped by PheT simulation as media at focusing step so students can find knowledge by them self. This research aims to review the difference of study results between students who were taught using Numbered Heads Together model with PheT simulation as media and the students who were taught using direct learning model that has usually been  taught  by  a  teacher  in  senior  high  school.  The  students's  achievement contains cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. This design of research is an experimental research that has been done at the senior high school 1 Pakusari. Source of data was derived from the assessment by the observer and post-test. The conclusions of the research have got that Numbered Heads Together model with PheT simulation as media influenced the students's achievement in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor

    The purpose of this research is to examine the eligibility of  integrated science learning module based on local potential on the topic of objects transformation.This research were developed by Borg and Gall method that modified into four step, that is : (1) front-end analysis, (2) designing module, (3) validation and revision, and (4) testing module and final revision. The design of field testing is The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.The results show thatintegrated sciences module based potential local on the topic of objects transformation is proper to be applied in learning. This can be seen from the validation assesment criteria gets valid with a assesment scores reached 3,8 which is proper with BSNP’s criteria. The practically assesment shown from percentage 94,44% with a criteria pratice, indicating that the students are very gave a positive response, The effectiveness assesment shown from improvement student learning outcomes showed in the medium category indicated by the calculation of the gain score 0,4735. It could be concluded that the sciences module based potential local on the topic of objects transformation fit for use and effectively to increae the result of student learning.   Keywords: effectiveness, practicality,local potential, validit

    This research related on the influence of Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS in Physics learning at class X SMKN 8 JEMBER. The purpose of this research is: 1) to test the significance of Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS in Physics Learning on the activities of students studying physics; and 2) to test the significance of Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS in Physics Learning on the cognitive learning physics students. This research is an experimental research, with post-test only control design. This research population is class X at SMKN 8 Jember. Technique to collect the data uses test, observation, documentation, and interviews. Technique to analyze data is Independent-sample T-test (parametric test). The results showed that there is a significant differences between student’s learning physics activities in experimental class and control class with value of Sig.(1-tailed) < 0.05. Meanwhile, the results also showed that there were significant differences between the cognitive learning physics class students experiment and control class with value Sig. (1-tailed)<0.05. The conclusions of the research is : (1) Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS influenced significantly on the student’s physics learning activities at class X SMK N 8 Jember, (2) Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS influenced significantly on the student’s physics learning cognitive of students at class X SMK N 8 Jember.  Keywords: Cooperative Learning model type of Student Achievement Division Team with images representation based LKS, student’s physics learning activities, student’s physics learning cognitiv

    The research focused on the assembling of Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique is  students’ physics achievement and students’ activity. The purposes of this research are (1) to examine the difference achievement of using Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique than Conventional models on learning physics, (2) to describe students’ activity using Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique model in learning physic. The type of this research is experiment by using post-test only control group design. Sample of the research are X MIA 1 as an experiment class and X MIPA 2 as an control class.The techniques of data collection are observation, test,documentation, interview and portofolio. The techniques of data analysis using descriptive analysis and Independent Sample T-Test by SPSS 16 version. The result of the research are (1) students’ physics achievement acquired of analytical results Independent-Sample T-test Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,038, (2)average value  students’  science activity  is 83,9%. The research can be concluded that (1) there are significant difference of achievement of using Concept Attainment models with Concept Mapping technique than Conventional models on learning physics, (2) the student activity is in good criteria

    The purposes of this study are to assess the differences student’s physics learning achievement and retention of learning achievement between classes applied model process-oriented guided inquiry learning (POGIL) with a class that implemented the model direct instruction. This research is a quasi-experimental research design posttest only control design. Data were analyzed using t-test using SPSS version 22. The results of the analysis of learning achievement data showed the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.852 or> 0.05 and a data retention of learning achievement for 0,462 or> 0.05, which means there is no significant difference, in other words the model POGIL gave no significant effect on the results of learning achievement and retention of student learning achievement. Data retention of student learning achievement obtained one week after the post test the experimental class amounted to 94.73% and 96.64% of the control class are both included in the high categor

    Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) magnetic Field is part of electromagneticfields spectrum between 0 Hz and 300 Hz. The purpose of this research is to reviewimpact exposure of Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) magnetic Field on growth ofchili (Capsicum annum L). This research was refered by the experiment research.The technique of data collection was direct measurement. The results show that:(1)chili seeds which were treated with Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) magneticField 300μT for 60 and 90 minutes were higher than the others. (2) chili seeds whichwere treated with Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) magnetic Field 300μT for 60minutes had number of leaves more than the others. Extremely Low Frequency(ELF) magnetic Field 300μT for 60 minutes on chili seeds give the best result ofgrowth for chili plants

    PENGEMBANGAN MODUL FISIKA BERBASIS CONCEPT MAPPING PADA MATERI ELASTISITAS DI SMA

    Concept mapping was a way to find the concept relation which arranged systematically in the real illustration from the relationship of the core concept to the other concepts that was owned by a particular field of study. Therefore, this research was focused on the development of teaching materials in the form of module based on concept mapping in learning physics for Senior High School. The research produced a student book. This research aimed to determine the validity of book, student understanding level and student’s response after using module based on concept mapping, using 4-D development models. The result of this research indicated that the teaching material in the form of module based on concept mapping was valid with validity 4.2 from 5 categories. Meanwhile, students understanding level of module based concept mapping obtained an average value of 82.65% with category “understandâ€. Regarding the third purpose of the research, the students responded the module very positive for every aspect presented on the questionnaire. In short, module based concept mapping was good and appropriate alternative to be used as a learning material.     The development research is focused on teaching material of science modules with comic technique and question of cards. The learning activities were concerned to informative book and less attractive to low student motivation. It is impacting to student learning achievement. The science modules with comic technique and question of cards is formating of module structure and developed by comic technique where in a matter of practice and formative tests using a card packed matter . This study aims to determine the validity , motivation , and student learning achievement. The design of this development is a one -shot study case and using 4 - D model of development. The results of this study indicate the validity of the science modules is valid category. The average score of students learning motivation is 83.33 % and it is categorized on the category of motivated .While the results of student learning achievement classically scored 73.21 in the medium category

    Science learning module based on Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) is one of the teaching approach that help students and teachers in the learning process. The study is a research development that was designed to produce a product of Science Learning Module Based on SETS in Junior High School. This research aims to: (1)  describe validity of science learning module based on SETS, (2) describe the student’s learning achievement in using sciense learning module based on SETS, and (3) describe the student’s response to science learning module based on SETS. The design development that was used in this research is 4-D development model, which has been applied in  SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji. The result of the research are: (1) validation in instructional review is 4.08 and in technical review is 4.53, so the products is declared valid in instructional review and in technical review, (2) student’s learning achievement is 83.51 included in the high interval and the percentage of student’s learning achievement is 69.3% relatively high, and (3) student’s responses is categorized positive for every aspect on the questionnaire. From the analysis, the conclusion of this research which the product of the science learning module based on by SETS is categorized as valid, the student’s learning achievement and student’s responses after using this product is categorized as high interval

    Banyak kesulitan yang dijumpai siswa dalam memahami ilmu kimia di pembelajaran. Kesulitan dalam memahami ilmu kimia disebabkan karena materi ilmu kimia sering dijelaskan secara abstrak dan kurang relevan dengan kehidupan seharihari. Pada pembelajaran sains, seperti pelajaran kimia seringkali materi pelajaran tidak dikaitkan dengan keadaan aktual di masyarakat sehingga konsep-konsep yang dikuasai siswa di sekolah kurang dapat dimanfaatkan atau diaplikasikan ketika mereka memiliki masalah dalam kehidupannya. Oleh karena itu, dalam upaya memenuhi tuntutan dan mengatasi problema-problema tersebut diperlukan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat mengimbangi kemajuan teknologi. Banyak pendekatan – pendekatan pembelajaran sains yang dapat diterapkan, namun dalam keterkaitan konsep kimia, pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai diterapkan adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang berbasis sains, teknologi, masyarakat dan lingkungan, sehingga konsep-konsep dalam pendidikan sains khususnya ilmu kimia lebih mudah dipahami. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dan berkaitan erat dengan sains, teknologi, masyarakat dan lingkungan adalah pendekatan pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society). Dalam pendekatan pembelajaran ini siswa diberikan isu di masyarakat yang berhubungan dengan konsep- konsep kimia, dan diharapkan pendekatan pembelajaran ini dapat menangani permasalahan yang ada di pembelajaran, sehingga siswa mampu menggali pengalaman belajaranya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses.Kata kunci : pemahaman konsep, keterampilan proses dan SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society)
