    MODEL PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING DENGAN MEDIA FLASH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMA

    This research focuses on the application of Quantum Teaching learningmodel with Flash media. The purpose of this research were: (1) to examine thedifference of student achievement between student in Quantum Teaching learningmodel with Flash media class and students conventional learning model class; (2) todescribe of students learning activity using Quantum Teaching learning model withFlash media. The type of this research is an experimental research. This researchheld in SMAN 5 Jember using design post-test only control. The technique of datacollection in this research were observation, documentation, and test. Data analysistechniques was independent sample t-test from SPPS 16. Based on data analysis anddiscussion, the conclusion of this research were: (1) there was a significantdifferences of student achievement between student in Quantum Teaching learningmodel with Flash media class and students conventional learning model class;(2)students learning activity using Quantum Teaching learning model with Flash mediawas classified in very active criteria.Keywords: Students learning activity, Students achievement, Flash media,Quantum Teaching Learning model

    The purposes of this research is to assess the illuminating of inclassroom 35C 201 40 and 35C 210 40 phycics building University of Jember.Data retrieved by using a lux meter, with three times the measurement at everypoint. After data was obtained from calculation, so the data will be enteredinto Software Calculux Indoor 5.0b. Based on the research that has been done,it showed that in classroom 35C 201 40 and 35C 210 40 not in accordancewith the standard set by Indonesian National Standard of 250 lux, with result79,59 lux and 77,05 lux. Whereas the result of the measurement andcalculation of the reflectances values on both the classroom to the walls, floor,and ceiling has been corresponding of Indonesian National Standardrecommendations with a value from 0.5 until 0.8. In accordance with thetheory of illumination for Indonesian National Standard must full fil thecriteria: cleanliness of the room, the installation of the armature and the lightevenly, giving the bright color of the walls, floors, and ceilings. The simulationresult from Software Calculux Indoor 5.0b that is the illuminations atclassroom 35C 201 40 better than 35C 210 40. The illumination in bothclassroom not in accordance with the standard set by Indonesian NationalStandard, so that it can affect of the learning process

    PENGEMBANGAN MODUL FISIKA BERBASIS KONTEKSTUAL PADA MATERI ALAT-ALAT OPTIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI KELAS X SMAN 3 LUMAJANG

    The purposes of this research are to know the validity and the effectivity of physics-based contextual modules on optical tools material. This type of  research is the development, use research design  Borg and Gall. The initial product design phase, a module will go through two stages of validation. The first validation phase is experts’ validation and is obtained the validity of 80,66% with valid enough degree of validity. The second validation phase is users’  validation and is obtained the validity of 88% with very valid degree of validity. The next research phase is the initial testing phase, at this stage will be known the audience ratings of the module. Audience validation involved 6 student  and  got the validity of 84,44% with very valid degree of validity. The last research phase is the research field to determine the effectiveness of the module. The result of the research field show that the module has been declared as effective modules for students, because they have got a score of 70 as much as 94,44%. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the physics-based contextual learning modules developed valid and effective to be used in teaching in schools.  Key word : contextual module, optical tools

    IMPLEMENTASI MODEL POE (PREDICTION, OBSERVATION, EXPLANATION) PADA PEMBELAJARAN GERAK LURUS DI MAN

    This article was the result of research of the influence POE (Prediction, Observation, Explanation) model to cognitive physics learning achievement and science process skills of students in physics learning at MAN. The purposes of the research were to study the influence of model to cognitive physics learning achievement and science process skills of students. This research was conducted in MAN 2 Jember. This type of research was experimental by post-test only control design. The population in this study were students of class X at MAN 2 Jember of Academic Year 2016/2017. Samples were taken with cluster random sampling, X IPA 2 selected as esperiment class and X IPA 4 selected as control class. The techniques of data collection were test, observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of data analysis used Independent Sample T-Test (SPSS 22). The results were obtained significance value of 0,000 for cognitive physics learning achievement of students and 0,0235 for science process skills of students. It can be concluded that model of POE (Prediction, Observation, Explanation) influence to cognitive learning achievement and science process skills of students.   Keywords: POE (Prediction-Observation-Explanation) Learning Model, Cognitive Physics Learning Achievement, Science Process Skills

    This research aimed to study the effect of GI-GI model on students scienceprocess skills and students multirepresentation ability of circular motion concept.This type of research was experimental research by post-test only control design.This research was conducted in SMAN 1 Jenggawah. Population in this study werestudents of class X at SMAN 1 Jenggawah of Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampleswere taken with cluster random sampling, X IPA 1 as an experiment class and X IPA2 a control class. The techniques of data collection were observation, interviews,documentation and testing. The technique of data analysis used independent samplet-test. The results of this analysis were obtained significance value of 0,000 forscience process skills of student and 0,000 for multiple representation ability ofstudent.     Development of local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan†based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is a develop of module to conect between temperature and expansion of material with “Kerajinan Logam Sayanganâ€. The purposes of this research are to describe the validty local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan†based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module, student’ learning achievement, and student’ responses. This type of research is the development, use research design 4-D. Data collection techniques used are sheets of validation, observation, interview and post-test. Local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan†based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is said good and decent to be used for teaching physics in junior high school if the product’s validity has been tested through logic validity. Result this research are: (1) logic validity real events image-based module is 4,1 with a valid category. (2) Student’ learning achievement after using local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan†based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is 63,63% with a quite good, and (3) student’ responses local potential “Kerajinan Logam Sayangan†based temperature and expansion of physics science learning module is 81,43% with a very positive.     PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MULTIREPRESENTASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMA/MA

    This research purpose was to create a new product in the form of multi-representation based module that can be used in learning activities. Multi-representation based module was an interesting module that made students understand the material easily. The purpose of this research was to produce a valid multi-representation based modules, to describe the students’ multi-representation ability and to know the students' response to the use of multi-representation based modules. The research design used the 4-D model that was reduced to be 3-D. The results of the research showed that the multi-representation based module was categorized quite valid with the value of expert validation was 3.89. Multi-representation capability on high criteria with N-gain value is 0.75. Meanwhile, the student's response was in the positive response category with the value of 79.4%. Multi-representation based module contained verbal representation, mathematical, pictures and graphs that were useful to help students to understand the material. Based on the results of this research, it could be concluded that the multi-representation based module was suitable to use as an interesting learning module.   Keyword: multirepresentation based module logic, validity, multirepresentation ability, student respons

    This study focused on influence of Project Based Lerning Model with physics phenomena to physics instruction in SMA. The purposes of this research are: (1) to describe student’s activites in physics during learning process; (2) there is a significant influential on the learning outcomes of students who were given a Project Based Learning Model and are not given the Project Based Lerning Model. This research was an experimental study with posttest only control group design. The population in this research was X class and the samples were X IPA A and X IPA B class of SMA Unggulan BPPT Darus Sholah Jember. Data collection techniques were observation, test, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were descriptive, percentage, and T-test using SPSS 22. The results of this research were the average of student’s learning activities was 83.3% (very active criteria); the sigfinikansi influential on the learning outcomes of student is 0,026 this used T-test SPSS 22. This research can be concluded: first, the average of student’s learning activities was in very active criteria. Secondly, there is a significant influential on the learning outcomes of students who were given a problem Project Based Lerning Model  with physics phenomena and are not given the Model Project Based Lerning Model  with physics phenomena.   Keywords: Project Based Learning Model, Physics Phenomena , Student’s Activities, Learning Outcomes

    PENGARUH TINGKAT KEBISINGAN LALU LINTAS TERHADAP TINGKAT KENYAMANAN SISWA SAAT PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH KECAMATAN BANGIL KABUPATEN PASURUAN (Studi Kasus di SMP Negeri 3 Bangil dan MTs Negeri Bangil)

    This research focuses on the effect of traffic noise to the learning comfort in school at Bangil district. The purposes of this study are to analyze noise level in school, learning comfort, and the effect of traffic noise to the learning comfort. The research was done at SMP Negeri 3 Bangil and MTs Bangil. The measurement of Noise level is Sound Level Meter Dekko SL-130 and the measurement of learning comfort is a questionnaire. The data is processed using SPSS 16 program. The results show that noise level at the SMP Negeri 3 Bangil is bigger than MTs Bangil (66.4 dBA > 53.1 dBA). The comfort level at SMP Negeri 3 Bangil is lower than MTs Bangil. In SMP Negeri 3 Bangil, the influence of the noise traffic to the comfort learning is 2.6% and the influence of the noise traffic to the comfort learning in MTs Negeri bangil is 15.6%

    The Guided Inquiry Model of learning in which students will discuss, examine, observe, learn, and prove the facts symptoms of physics with the teacher providing guidance to students in full. The kind of this research is experiment by randomized post-test only control group design. Population of this research is X MIPA SMAN 4 Jember. Techniques to the collection data are observation, documentation, tests and interviews. Technique to analysis data was independent sample t-test with SPSS 20. The result of research showed that influences but not significant equals ability of verbal and image representation of students are 0.449 and 0, 433 the value Sig (one-tailed)> 0.05 and research showed that significant equals of ability mathematics, graph, and physics outcomes of students are 0.000 the value Sig (one-tailed)≤ 0.05. The reseach can be concluded that there was influences but not significant of Guided Inquiry model on ability verbal and image representation of students and a significant influence of Guided Inquiry model on ability mathematics, graph, and physics outcomes of students
