IDENTIFIKASI KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA SMA MATERI FLUIDA STATIS BERDASARKAN TAXONOMY OF INTRODUCTORY PHYSICS PROBLEMS
Problem-solving ability were the abilities that students needed because problems always existed in everyday life. In physics study, static fluid material was one of the materials related to everyday life that could make students think to solve the problem. The purpose of this research was identified the problem solving ability of high school students of static fluid materials based on the Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problems. This research was included in qualitative descriptive research. The research methods used tests, interviews, and documentation. The test instrument used test description of problem solving abilities based on the Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problems as many as 11 units. Research was conducted in three state schools in the suburbs of Jember disctrict with one class per school. The result of the research showed that students' problem solving ability of static fluid materials based on Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problems at SMAN A at most levels with less categories while in SMAN B and SMAN C at most levels with very less categories.Key Word: Problem Solving Ability, Static Fluid, Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problem
UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKAMELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA 3 DI SMAN 3 JEMBER
Abstract The research aimed to improved the learning activity and learning outcomes ofcognitive students about the concept of physics with cooperative learning model typethink pair share in students grade XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Jember in the lesson of 2017/2018,with 34 students. The type of research was classroom action research. The research consisted two cycles, began with the initial activity cycle. The result of the research wasanalyzed descriptively consisted of two indicators such as learning activity and learningoutcomes research. The learning activity of student got average value on cycle I equal to52% which enter in category enough active and at second cycle equal to 77% included inactive category. While for the study results obtained from the average score for the firstcycle of 67 in the category enough and the second cycle of 77 included in either categorywith 80% completeness. It can be concluded that the application of type of cooperativelearning model type Think pair share (TPS) can increase student activity and learningoutcomes about physics class XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Jember.Keywords: Activity of Learrning, Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS), Results of learnin
PENGEMBANGAN MODUL MOMENTUM, IMPULS DAN TUMBUKAN DENGAN STRATEGI CONCEPT MAPPING DI MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI
AbstractOne of physics material’s character was abstract, that charactercaused the students got difficulties. Besides that, the unconsecutive materialwas becomes a weakness in the displays of material in physics books at school.One of solution to solve this problems was using the concept mapping module.The purposes of this research were to describe the validity of modules,effectiveness, and practicality. The research method used was 4D model whichsuggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel. The result of this researchwas module classified as valid by the value of validity was 85,47%, modulewas effective by value of retention 98,79%, module classified as practical byvalue of student response was 67,71%. Based on these data, it can beconcluded that the module was very valid, effective and practical for used inlearning.Keyword: module, concept mapping, 4D mode
KEMAMPUAN SISWA SMA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL UNFISIKA BERDASARKAN TAHAPAN MODEL IDEAL PADA MATERI LISTRIK STATIS
Abstract Physics learning is an effort to improve problem solving ability. This studyaimed at determining high school students’ ability in solving the physics nationalexamination problem based on the stages of IDEAL model on static electricitymaterials. By knowing that ability, it can be a motivation to improve problem solvingability of physics national examination to obtain better results. The research methodused is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study is last year students of SMAAmbulu and SMAN Balung. Based on this research, we can know the student’s abilityon identify the problem stage in SMAN Ambulu and SMAN Balung was categorizedas very good of 95.60% and 85.90%. The define represent the problem wascategorized as very good and good of 93.54% and 82.14%. The explore possiblestrategies stage in SMAN Ambulu was categorized as very good by 87.74%, while inSMAN Balung was categorized as sufficient of 68.88%. The act on the strategiesstage in SMAN Ambulu was categorized as very good, and in SMAN Balung wascategorized as good. Whereas, the look back and evaluate the effect stage in SMANAmbulu and SMAN Balung was categorized as good of 74.26% and 50.52%.Key words: Physics, IDEAL model, solve problem
PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ANIMASI BERBANTUAN MACROMEDIA FLASH PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA POKOK BAHASAN MOMENTUM, IMPULS, DAN TUMBUKAN KELAS X SMA
Learning physics that was held showed that most students seem less interested, less passionate and tend to be inactive. So that the value obtained by students were also less than the maximum. The low yield studying physics students was one caused by a medium of learning physics teachers use less varied. Therefore, teachers need media that can be used to describe it. Macromedia Flash animation through the abstract for the students can be shown to the presence of students, that were expected to improve learning outcomes. Therefore it was necessary the use of media-assisted learning Macromedia Flash animation on learning physics. This type of research was the study of true-experimental with research design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjects were students of class ten of SMA. Data acquisition techniques including observation, documentation, interviews and tests. Data analysis technique that used was the independent sample t-test with SPSS 22 and N-gain analysis. Based on the results and discussion can be concluded as follows: 1) There was significant influence student learning outcomes which apply assisted learning media Macromedia Flash animation in learning physics class X SMA and 2) media-assisted learning Macromedia Flash animations were categorized quite effective. With the value of N-gain of 0.57 is included in the criteria of effectiveness of the medium.Keyword: Learning Physics, assessment, macromedia flash
PENGARUH MODEL PROCESS ORIENTED GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING (POGIL) DENGAN MEDIA KARTU MASALAH TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI MOMENTUM DAN IMPULS DI SMA
AbstractThe type of this research was experimental research with post-test only controlgroup design in SMA Negeri 1 Panji Situbondo 2016/2017. This research purposed toknow the influence of POGIL models with media card problems with understandingstudents and student learning activities. Determination of research sample is usedcluster random sampling, X MIA 4 as experiment class and X MIA 2 as control class.The technique of data analysis were independent sample t-test with program SPSS 22.Based on analysis of Mann-Whitney test result, showed that model of POGIL withmedia card problems have significantly effect to the understanding of the student'sconcept. Based on the analysis of the independent sample t-test results showed thatmodel of POGIL with media card problems have significantly effect to student learningactivities.Keyword: POGIL, understanding the concept, student learning activitie
PENGEMBANGAN MODUL KOMIK FISIKA PADA POKOK BAHASAN HUKUM KEPLER DI SMA KELAS XI
Abstract The physics comic module was developed on the subject of Kepler law. Thisdevelopment is made for focusing the learning to student, so that students can learnindependently and improve the students’ imagination, also the physics learning on thesubject of Kepler law becomes more easily to be understood. The purpose of thisresearch were to know the validity and effectivity of physics comic module on thesubject of Kepler law. This research used Borg and Gall development research model.This research was conducted in SMA Nurul Islam Jember XI Grade. The data obtainedin this study are validation data. The analysis performed is validation analysis basedon expert validator and user validator, also effectiveness analysis based on audiencevalidator. The validity criteria of physics comic module was 78,75% and the effectivitycriteria of physic comic module was 71,38%. Based on these data, it can be concludedthat physics comic module was valid enough and effective enough, so can be used inteaching and learning process with a little revision.Key word: module development, physics comic, kepler’s law
PENGGUNAAN SOFTWARE KINOVEA SEBAGAI ALAT KAJIAN TEORITIS MATERI FLUIDA DINAMIS
AbstractThis study focused on the theoretical study of PDAM water flow using kinovea software. Software kinovea is a vidio analysis software that can be used to analyze movement. This study aims to assess kinovea software using dynamic fluid concept, and after got the result of video analysis through kinovea software then the result is comparing with the manually calculation. The type of this research is descriptive research. Techniques of data collection are documentation, vidio analysis using kinovea software, mathematical measurement. The result of this study shows that kinovea software is not suitable for video analysis of PDAM water flow, because of the difference between video analysis and manual calculation. Kinovea software can only be used to analyze a movement as in physics concept that is parabolic motion for example on volleyball or basketball which can be analyzed movement speed of a ball. This research can be concluded: Firstly, kinovea software can not be used to analyze dynamic fluid concept in PDM water flow. Secondly, the kinovea software can be used for other researchers to analyzed a parabolic movement such as a sporting movement on volleyball and basketball.Key word: Software kinovea , video analysis, PDAM water flow, dynamic flui
PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA FLUIDA STATIS DENGAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING DISERTAI MIND MAP DI MAN 1 JEMBER
Abstract This study aimed to (1) determined the profile of student learning activitiesthrough project based learning model with mind map in MAN 1 Jember, (2)determined the influence of static fluid learning through project based learning modelwith mind map to student learning outcomes in MAN 1 Jember. The sample of theresearch was the students of class XI MIPA 4 as the control class and the students ofclass XI MIPA 5 as the experimental class. The design of this study used post-test onlycontrol design on static fluid material. Techniques of collecting data usedobservation, tests, and interviews. The data were analyzed descriptively andinferential statistic by using sample t-test (SPSS 24). The result of the research showedthe students' learning activity in physics fluid static learning through project basedlearning model with mind map included in active criterion with percentage 66%. Thestudy of static fluid physics with project based learning model and mind map had asignificant effect on students' cognitive learning achievement. PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL MATERI FLUIDA DINAMIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA KELAS XI
Abstract This study focused on the development of product learning with Dynamic FluidE-Module. This was research intended to know the validity, improve students'critical thinking skill, and to know the student's response in using the DynamicFluid E-Module. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 4 Jember in thestudents of class XI odd semester of academic year 2016/2017. The dynamicfluid material content module packed in e-module (electronic module). Thedevelopment model used is 4D developed by Thiagarajan namely: define(definition stage), design (planning stage), development (development stage),and dissemination (dispersion stage. The average value of validity is 4.11included in the valid criteria. N-Gain obtained 0.81 with high category. Theaverage percentage of student responses was 91.81% very positive category.Dynamic Fluid E-Module can be concluded the development and posible to use.Keywords : dynamic fluid, e-module, critical thinking skill
