    STUDI PENGELOLAAN LABORATORIUM FISIKA 8 SMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN BONDOWOSO TAHUN 2012/2013

    Research entitles "The Study of Management of Physics Laboratory of 8 State Senior High Schools in Sub-Province of Bondowoso Year 2012-2013" aim to know the management of Physics Laboratory such as planning, conservancy and treatment of laboratory appliance. The techniques of data collecting in this research are enquette, interview and observation. Results of research indicate that mean score of is each indicator management of physics laboratory, that is the mean score for the planning of laboratory equal to 32,25 or 78,33%, the mean score of depository of laboratory materials and appliance equal to 7,5 or 83,33%; and mean score for conservancy of laboratory materials and appliance equal to 11,13 or 74,17%. This matter reveals that the depository point of physics laboratory materials and appliance tend to stronger but the conservancy point of laboratory materials and appliance indicates to be weak. This due to the depository is performed according to types, functions and measures of each materials, while the conservancy still weaken because of conservancy of laboratory materials and appliance specially physics needs more operating expenses, so that the conservancy is having less attention than the depository

    The aim of the study is to describe the significant influence of guided experimentmethod learning to students’ achievement of science (physics), describe the effectivity ofguided experiment method learning, and describe the students’ achievement retention afterlearning science (physics) with guided experiment method. The research used quasiexperiment method of one group pre test post test design. The subject of this research ispast of students’ in junior high school of jember regency which is studying about simplemachine concept. In the program implementation, the experiment group was taught byusing guided experiment method. The result of the research showed that guided experimentmethod learning have significant influence to students achievement of science (physics) ingrade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Jember, guided experiment method learning effective to use onscience (physics) learning in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Jember, the students’achievement retention after learning science (physics) with guided experiment method iscan increase the quality of science (physics) lesson in the topics of simple machine concept

    The learning of cooperative model by group investigation type with open ended problem technic is student centered learning by emphasizing problem solving abilities. The purpose of this research to apply the cooperative learning model by group investigation type with open ended problem technic in learning physics at senior high school . This research is an experimental study with control group pretest post-test design. Data collection techniques used; observation , test , interviews , and documentation. The results of data analysis showed that there were differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control  class, so that the cooperative learning model by group investigation type with open ended problem technic significantly influence student learning outcomes physics

    This study concentrated the influence of problem based instruction model accompanied by macromedia flash animation to the student’s science-physic achievement and students’ scientific attitude in class VII MTs Negeri Glenmore. The purpose of this research are:(1) To study the influence of problem based instruction model accompanied by macromedia flash animation  to the students’ science-physic achievement class VII MTs Negeri Glenmore, and (2) To study the influence of the model to the student’s scientific attitude class VII MTs Negeri Glenmore. This study is experimental research by Randomized subjects post-test control design.  The technique of data collection are observation, documentation, interview and test. Technique to analyse data is independent sample t-test SPSS 16 program to calculate the influence of the model for the science-physic achievement and students’ scientific attitude. The result showed that:1) The significant value (1tailed) is 0,000 (ï‚£ 0,05), its mean the Ha is accepted ( There is significant influence the model to student’s science-physic achievement), 2) The significant value (1tailed) is 0,001 (ï‚£ 0,05) , its mean the Ha is accepted (There is significant influence the model to student’s scientific attitude). Conclusions of  this research are: (1) problem based instruction model accompanied by macromedia flash animation  significantly influences to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII MTs Negeri Glenmore, and (2) problem based instruction model accompanied by macromedia animation  significantly influences to the student’s scientific attitude class VII MTs Negeri  Glenmore

    This study is aimed to comprehend the difference of the learning outcomes of students during using problem based instruction model with the demonstration method with conventional learning and to describe critical thinking skills of students with problem based instruction model with demonstration methods in learning physics in senior high. This type of research is experimental. The population in this study is a class X student of MAN 2 Jember. The research instrument is the cognitive aspects of products to measure student learning outcomes, analytical test to measure critical thinking skills of students and observers to measure cognitive of processes and affective during learning activities using problem based instruction model with the demonstration method. Data were analyzed using t - test using manual calculations. Based on the results of the study , got value students ttest = 1,82. Further value ttest  is consulted by the value ttable got of value db = 70 with significance level of 5% is 1,66. So,  can be detailed that the ttest value> ttabel (1,82 > 1,66), thus H0 (null hyphothesis) is rejected and H1 (alternative hyphothesis) is accepted and the critical thinking skills of students in the learning activities using problem based instruction model with demonstration method that is equal to 70.22 % thus classified as good. The conclusion of this study are: 1) problem based instruction model with demonstration methods is better than conventional learning; 2) critical thinking skills of students with problem based instruction model with demonstration methods classified as good

    A Simple pendulum is an ideal object consisting of a point mass which is suspended on the inelastic rope. One of the pendulum uses is tomeasure the value of the accelerationdue to gravity of one place. The Rope length was varied based on  the theoretical value of the acceleration results (9.8 m/s2). To minimize the force air priction, the research was conducted in closed area. It was known that the average value of the period is comparable to the root of the rope length. Not all of the measurements with different rope length showed the similar resultseach of length rope has the different level on the error measurement. The rope with a length of 25 cm has the highest error measurement which is 10.63%. The most effective long rope of four long ropes used was 75 cm with an error measurement 0.02%
